This is really interesting although I do wish he'd made the proposition to Hermione and not this Hightower girl. What I do find strange though is that he made the proposition just like that. He was basically offering her potentially a life commitment on both their parts without establishing a kind of relationship. Lavender and Voldy I can understand because he's offering her power, but not so sure Severus would jump in there with a girl just because she was clever and sought him out. And also I don't think that you could just go away and think about something like that, and go "yeah alright then"

I think he would need more of a challenge, and I got the impression she wanted more of a conventional relationship.

That said, can't wait for the next chapter.

Oh, having Filch added to Pansy's punishment is PRICELESS!!!! I never thought of that, but it is now etched in my mind as an absolute torture to ANY girl at Hogwarts; especially a pure-blood like Pansy. Oh, poor Pansy *NOT*. She deserved everything she got, especially from Filth, oh I mean Filch *snicker*. I think Snape should have make Pansy worry about the fertility potion a little longer (but that's just me).
