I have a suggestion thought, you should make all the interludes in a different story so it dont ruin the flow of the main story (something like how StarLight_Massacre does with his/hers The Rise of the Drackens and The Rise of the Drackens: The Scaled Bits). Mind you that's just a suggestion.
