  Larva Venator - The ghost hunter spell. Tracks down and keeps track of an individual. Used in the creation of Ghost's Phantom Mark to keep tabs on his Phantoms. Incant: larva venato name of victim

  
  

  Absolutio - The autioution curse. Nicknamed the Human Dementor's Kiss. Acts in the same fashion as a real Dementor's Kiss. Tears the soul from the body leaving an empty shell behind. Incant: absolutio

  
  

  Proditio - The betrayal curse. A stronger and more refined version of Imperio. Causes loyalty to shift absolutely to person named in incantation. Only known counter is the Ipse Fidelitas, the self loyalty charm. Incant: proditio name of master

  
  

  Ipse Fidelitas - The self loyalty charm. The counter to the betrayal curse. Gives back free choice of loyalties to an individualcantcant: ipse fidelito

  
  

  Sanus Cruciatus - The sane cruciatus curse. Same strength as the original crucio, but with the added feature of forbidding victim to retreat into their mind from the pain, therefore, allowing them their sanity. Used for interrigation. Incant - sanus crucio

  
  

  Concresco - The curdled blood curse. Causes all blood within victim to coagulate within skin, causing a rather painful and gruesome death. Incant - concresco

  
  

  Nocens - The guilt curse. Used in conjunction with a crime. Within an hour after crime is commited, guilty party - while thinking of crime in question - casts incantation on innocent party. The curse transfurs full guilt to innocent party, making them believe that they in fact were the perpetrator of the crime. Innocent and guilty party's testemony holds up even under veritaserum.   Exosso Quasso - The bone shattering curse. When said in conjuction with the name of a bone, the said bone shatters instantly. Thisse ise is very painful and causes interior bleeding. Can be fatal. Shattering ribs has been known to cause death 3 times out of four, especially since the shards tend to slice into heart and lungs on impact. Incant - exosso quasso name of bone

  
  

  Aetas Iniens - The infancy curse. Also called the innocence charm. Causes mind to go back to the date when innocence was lost. Most of the time, this reverts victim to an infantile state, in a grown body. Victim loses all memory of things that came after the date in which they revert. Rarely, the curse does not effect the victim. Studies are being made to find out the cause for this. Incant - aetas inieo

  
  

  The Avada Kedavra Shield Theory/Untested - Theory by Lupus Umbra, stating that if you summon a shield of conjured animals to counter the avada kedavra, the curse will hit the conjured animals and kill them, shielding yourself from the curse. Untested as of yet, because a lack of volunteers to be the test subject. Best shield animals are said to be conjured birds so they will be midair to meet the curse. Incant - any animal conjurance spell/avis recommended

  
  

  Arx - Fortress shield spell. Requires a lot of power to back this one up, and, in most cases, a custom wand. This shield can hold up to most dark curses, and a great deal of elven curses that tend to go through any wizarding shield. A very exhausting spell, to be used in times of need -- mainly by healers on a battle field to protect an injured person. Incant - arx

  
  

  A/N: Okay, I'm just putting up this list for reference. As you all know, Harry Potter is owned by JK Rowling, so I need not go through that rigamorole of not sueing me, right? *grins* This list of curses will be used in Proditio, and will be updated when I create new curses. Most of the curses will be rather... um... dark to say the least. You can use these curses but please ask my permission first, because, after all, I went through the trouble of searching through a latin dictionary to come up with these.
