A/N:Ok, this story might be a two shot… maybe. I kinda like the idea I have for it and if I feel like expanding on the idea I will, but for now I’m not going to push it. Ok, my changes (which any new ones will be stated at the beginning if I decide to make this a multi-shot instead): Sirius didn’t die, Tonks got hit with the curse and went through the arch (as if she was right there with Harry and Sirius), neither of the Weasley twins are dead (but both are missing part of their left ear, which doesn’t help in telling them apart), Voldemort is dead. Ok, this is a different Shrieking Shack incident. The one with Snape happened in Sixth year, this happens in Seventh year. Remus of Harry’s time doesn’t know about Harry being an Animagus.
Just to let you know, when Moony first meets Harry, he doesn’t see him as human. He just sees him as his mate and he doesn’t care about the form, but he does know that Harry is hiding something underneath his pale skin. Ok, here is what Harry’s Animagus form looks like: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/68/Canis_lupus_signatus_crop.jpg. Remus’ werewolf form looks the same but he’s bigger.

Also, even though I think it disrupts the flow of the story, I’ll put an Author’s Note in the story for important information… in case this hasn’t been read. If you actually read the A/N up top then ignore all the author’s notes when you get to it and keep on reading. Now on to the story…
Twenty-three year old Harry J. Potter was quite good at what he did and the Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry knew that. He’d gotten his Masters in Defense against the Dark Arts easily, and because he could focus on it alone, he got it after only four years of study. Usually it took a lot longer to get a Masters, a lot of people wanting their Masters started studying before graduation from a Magic School. It was the whole reason she had offered him the position of Defense against the Dark Arts when he’d graduated from said school. He refused then, but it didn’t stop her from asking him again whenever he came by to visit his friends on the staff.
“I don’t want it, Professor McGonagall. You have Remus to teach Defense, you don’t need me.” Harry and McGonagall was sitting in her office, Dumbledore’s portrait was smiling benevolently, with twinkling eyes, down at him from its perch on the wall. He was trying to get her to take back her offer, because he didn’t want to take Remus’s job.
“Remus is teaching the Fifth through Seventh years as parents are starting to feel that their children can make the decision since they are close to their maturity. You will be teaching the First through Fourth years as well as Remus’s class during the full moon.” She was heading off every possible argument he had. Harry knew that it wasn’t a hard workload, he just wasn’t sure if he could do it without giving himself away to Remus Lupin, werewolf extraordinaire.
Harry sighed. He knew he shouldn’t have come back to the UK. He knew he should have gone on to Egypt when Sirius offered to take him. Sirius wanted to visit Bill, to see how he was doing. It was coming up on the date of Fleur’s death; she’d hemorrhaged during labor and died, which proved that just because someone had magic didn’t mean they were infallible. The triplets were fine and healthy as could be—even if they were kinda tiny, it came with being squashed together in a tiny womb with two other babies. Teddy, Albus, and Lily (and his job) were Bill’s life. Needless to say, he didn’t get out much. Sirius was hoping to change that.
“Fine, but don’t expect me to not cheer for Gryffindor during Quidditch games…” Harry said in a grumpy but teasing way.
After almost a year of teaching a practical learning class, you would think that the teacher would learn to duck if any spells went where they weren’t. There were spells to help keep someone from being caught unawares by any spell. That was something Harry just didn’t quite get. He figured it would be alright to teach the seventh years one of the newest defense spells that the Ministry had passed as being just Light enough to teach to the graduating classes at the Magic Schools. It was a mix between the Tripping Jinx and Memory Charm. It was weird enough that it made the one who was hit with it fall and forget what they had been doing the twenty minutes before they fell.
Remus was in the classroom, even though it was two nights before the full moon, sitting behind the desk grading the essays he had assigned about Vampires the week before.
“I don’t see why I cannot teach them that Door charm,” Harry grumbled, sitting on the edge of Remus’s desk.
The werewolf sighed slightly; they had been having this same conversation since the start of the year. “Harry, I don’t think conjuring a door, that has arms that pop out to grab you and tug you in when opened, is actually considered Defensive. Fred and George came up with that; they gave the rights to it to the Ministry, they let the Auror’s use it to bring people directly to the Ministry Interrogation Cells—excuse me, Ministry Detainment Rooms.”
The spell had been a joke idea but Kingsley had caught the twins stuffing Ron into it. He’d yelled at them for about ten minutes before they told him that they had connected the door to the cellar, where it was cold and slightly damp… and filled with spiders. Kingsley bought the rights to the spell, made the twins take an Unbreakable Vow on what the incantation and wand movement was, and gave it to the Ministry to use. They had caught more Death Eaters with less casualties and everyone was happy… except the Death Eaters, of course. The only bad part was that Harry was the only person who knew the spell completely and didn’t have the Vow to keep him in line.
Harry sighed; he really wished that the twins hadn’t sold the right to that spell. It would have made a great lesson for the Seventh years. “I know, I know. Depending on how it is used, it could be considered Dark Arts… but it isn’t.” After that, Harry continued to fume silently. Remus just watched him, and since Harry’s back was to him he didn’t care to hide the longing he felt. The longing he felt and his wolf made more prominent.
On the inside, as the creature tried to stretch, he heard Moony whine plaintively. The wolf inside of him wanted Harry and knew that Harry wanted Remus. It was Remus who was unsure if Harry would accept Moony. He knew that a lot of people were fine having werewolf lovers, as long as they never saw the beast side; he even realized that Harry wasn’t like that, but it was his own insecurities that kept him quiet. What’s the use of being a Dominant if the Submissive didn’t like what you had to offer?
Harry straightened as some of the Seventh year girls started arguing. This class was the Ravenclaw/Slytherin Double that they had on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A lot of the students stopped practicing to watch the Ravenclaw yell at her Slytherin partner. Apparently, the Slytherin girl was doing the wrong wand movement... Harry went over to fix them both as Remus went to make sure that all the cabinets were locked. It was nearing the end of class time, so Remus went into his office and got out his pensieve to set on his desk.
He always put the class times in his pensieve to look over later. It helped him grade the students he had in how much they worked with in-class participation.
Harry was walking back towards the desk when the flash of muddied silver hit him in the back. Harry tripped, as the spell was supposed make him do, and hit the desk hard enough that the time turner he had been wearing slipped out and hit the liquid of the pensieve, before he tipped over into it himself.
The class was quiet except for the Slytherin girl, who was apologizing very quickly in a high panicky voice, who had been aiming the ‘Oblivious Klutz Hex’, as the students had started to call it, at her Ravenclaw partner. It was very un-Slytherin of her, but Harry was well-liked and he was a teacher. If he came to permanent harm, she could be expelled. Her parents would kill her if she got expelled… ok, maybe not kill, but she would be disowned. Her eyes were like saucers they were so wide. Everyone else was stunned, rooted to the spot by surprise.
Remus looked over his desk as Moony started to come to the surface of their consciousness; he was looking at where Harry’s body would have fallen once his consciousness had entered the pensieve, but his body wasn’t there. “Harry?”
Inside of Remus, Moony howled, wanting out of Remus to find the younger man. Moony came all the way to the surface, to try to get Remus to go find his mate, even though Remus didn’t like him to get that close without the full moon.
As Moony got closer, Remus started to get feelings and impressions from what had happened at the Shrieking Shack in his Seventh year, it had always been the one memory of the full moon that had seemed to be even more incomplete than the others. He hoped Harry was going to be alright. After all, it was later in that year that the Wolfsbane potion was first made.
Harry opened his eyes to a room he barely recognized. He was in the Shrieking Shack, he knew that, and realized he was in the room that they had cornered and captured Pettigrew in. The damn rat had gotten his Kiss later that night, thanks to Remus. He had known a spell to keep an Animagus trapped in human form long-term, which was two hours at the least and four at the most when last tested… and had used the body-bind jinx from four of the different wands to keep him immobile.
Harry sat up in the bed, wondering how he had gotten there, and looked at himself. He could barely see himself, he was so transparent, but he could tell that he was unharmed.
A young Sirius opened the door to the room Harry was in and checked the entire room. “I don’t see anyone, Moony. I think it’s safe. Too bad James has Wizard Flu; you know he’d love to be here for you.” He headed out.
“I know, Padfoot. Wormtail also couldn’t come and I’m actually kinda glad for that. He’s started to smell bad to my werewolf form. I’m afraid I might attack him one day, if he’s here during the change.” Remus’ voice was raised, slightly pain-filled because of the change being close. Harry followed Remus’ voice out into the hall and to another door.
Harry got closer to the door, to hear better, and saw Remus stretch painfully. He was getting ready to change into his werewolf form. Harry heard the floor creak behind him, and turning to see what it was, was pushed into the room with Remus. He realized then that he was fully corporeal. Sirius came in behind him and slammed the door, glaring at their intruder.
“Come to spy, have you?” Sirius growled out, furious that he hadn’t found the intruder when searching the other three room’s upstairs not even minutes before.
“No.” Harry stated calmly, but on the inside he was frantically thinking for a reason as to why he would be there. “I actually just wanted to see Lupin.”
Sirius’s voice took on a victorious tone. “Ha! So you are spying?!”
Harry looked at Sirius exasperatedly and said, “Didn’t I just say I wasn’t here to spy…?”
Remus snorted at that, as Sirius hung his head slightly. “Well,” Remus was curious. “What’s your name and what do you want?” Moony was especially anxious to get out for some reason and he wasn’t sure he could hold off the change much longer. It felt like Moony was clawing him up from the inside.
“My name is Harry and like I said, I want—“ Harry was cut off by Remus groaning and hunching in on himself in pain. Harry saying his name was all it took for Moony to double his efforts to get out. Sirius went to the door, to open it and let Harry out, but Dumbledore’s wards had come up to keep the room locked until Remus shifted back.
Sirius looked at Harry, fear evident on his face. It wasn’t fear of Remus, it was fear for Harry; it was fear for a man that was unknown to Moony. Sirius shifted into Padfoot, his big black bear-sized dog Animagus form, ready to defend the newcomer from being attacked.
Harry turned when he felt hot, wet breath on the back of his neck. Looking up into the transformed face, Harry could barely recognize the eyes. The eyes were of a feral werewolf, one who had not had the Wolfsbane potion that month. He was only slightly afraid of what would happen, Remus had been terrified and had never let Harry near him during the full moon. Even though Harry had loved him for years, and begged to be let into that part of his life, Remus was still wary of what could happen.
He was knocked onto his arse and Harry was able to get up to his knees before Moony started to growl at him, just standing in front of Harry.
He continued to get to his feet and was knocked over again by the big werewolf, who was tackled by Padfoot to get him off of Harry. Harry sat up and watched; too stunned to move, as Moony savaged the dog Animagus just enough so he could not get up and interfere with whatever Moony wanted to do. Moony had knocked Padfoot into the small bedside table until the dog Animagus’ left hind leg had snapped audibly, with a sickening crack, and left him there to watch.
Moony, on all fours, looked at Harry, whose robes had fallen off of his shoulders and was sitting on his knees with his legs curled back so that his feet were on either side of him, with his arms holding him up in front of him. It would have been the picture of innocent seduction, if not for the normal clothes under the robes. Harry looked back at the werewolf, trust plainly seen in his eyes.
Moony stalked up to Harry, who could hear Padfoot whining at Moony as if it was just background noise. Harry sat completely still and didn’t shy away when Moony went to sniffing all over him. Moony nosed him in the chest hard enough to knock him over, which made Harry squawk at being knocked over (which was ignored), before continuing to sniff at him.
Moony snarled commandingly and Padfoot went silent. Harry looked over at dog and realized that both of them were staring at him very intently.
Moony snarled again in the same tone, ending it in a growl.
Harry looked right at Moony and bit his bottom lip before deciding, and shifted to his Animagus form.
The wolf standing before Moony when Harry was finished with his transformation, was a tawny brown and black with splotches of white on its cheeks and the back of it ears down to the tip of its tail… a tail that was wagging slightly.
Moony pounced onto Harry, who immediately flopped onto his back in a show of submission. Moony sniffed the wolf form again before jerking up to Harry’s throat, wrapping his jaws around the fur covered column. Harry went limp, except for his tail; his tail was wagging slightly, in a “Can I get up please?” fashion.
Moony yipped playfully as he backed off of Harry. Harry rolled over and hunched down in a crouch, before pouncing up into the air and hopping on his hind feet towards Moony. It looked like some kind of weird dance the way he was hopping and wiggling and prancing around.
Padfoot was in the corner, with his head on his paws and his tongue lolling out of his mouth in a canine laugh. He was happy that Moony hadn’t actually attacked the new guy—Harry—and that Harry had an animal form to keep him safe. For some unexplained reason, while in Animagus form the wizard was unable to contract the werewolf virus, no one knew the real reason why.
It was odd, to Padfoot, both the werewolf and the Animagus were a tawny brown with black mixed in and similar in size. It was the size difference and the white patches on Harry that gave them away as not being mirror images of each other.
Harry put his front paws on Moony’s back before falling over onto his side with Moony’s full weight on top of him, sprawled out in a tackle. Moony panted laughingly as Harry squirmed out from under him. Harry pounced onto Moony as soon as he was free from the werewolf’s weight; Moony just rolled, making Harry fall under him again. Padfoot let out a short howling bark of amusement; it was fun watching Moony take on someone other than himself.
After playing for awhile, Harry dropped (more like oozed, he was so tired) down next to Padfoot. Moony growled angrily and jumped in between the two, making Harry and Padfoot jump away from each other and Moony’s snapping jaws.
Moony lay down and looked at Harry. Harry was crouched low to the ground, it was clear that he was acting as a submissive wolf to its’ Alpha Male. Moony snarled low in his throat and Harry came up to him on his right, always under Moony’s watchful eye. Harry, still wondering what he had done to make Moony snap at him, cuddled into Moony’s larger form hesitantly. When Moony was sure that Harry was settled, he turned his attention to the slightly bleeding dog Animagus; Padfoot slinked lowly over to Moony, whining slightly. He’d jarred the already broken left hind-leg, and to him it felt like someone was ramming his whole leg into a fireplace… without the floo powder, or a fire-retardant spell, to keep him from burning.
As he got closer to Moony, Padfoot got lower to the ground. He didn’t really know why Moony was upset that the—what he thought was slightly older—other male had plopped down beside him, but it had made his friend of almost seven years ready to attack him. Padfoot crawled, with a lopsided gait, to Moony’s other side. Moony put his jaws around Padfoot’s muzzle, only slightly using pressure. Padfoot whined softly, reassuring the werewolf that he still looked at Moony as his Alpha.
The werewolf let up instantly and licked his muzzle soothingly, knowing that the Animagus was confused about his behavior. He didn’t have to explain himself though; he was Alpha, not the dog. Moony figured that Remus would understand it better, but Remus always kept away from his consciousness during the full moon. The werewolf didn’t understand why his human form hated him so much, he thought that his behavior was normal; he just couldn’t get Remus to stay near long enough for him to get it. Frankly, Moony thought that Remus was being a coward.
Harry, who was on the werewolf’s other side and still slightly confused, figured that he would have to get his answers another time. He was tired; his energy had boosted when he realized that he would get to see Remus transform, but after playing with the werewolf for almost an hour and a half non-stop… He was worn out, but it seemed like Moony had all the energy in the world. Harry nuzzled his head into Moony’s fur and when Moony turned toward him, Harry licked a stripe up the side of his face before cleaning the werewolf’s muzzle. It was a sort of dependency act that he had seen once on an animal show about wolves. It was how he’d seen the Alpha Female greet the Alpha Male and while he didn’t like the fact that he was comparing himself to a female, he knew that Moony was in charge. He was faster, he was stronger, and Hell’s Belles he was even bigger than Harry was. Harry thought that was funny, he knew several wolf Animagi and they were all smaller than he was.
When Harry was done with one side, Moony turned his head so he could get the other side as well. It was the werewolf’s way of acknowledging what Harry was doing, and accepting it as his due. He’d put the dog in his place earlier when he’d attacked him for the wolf, the dog knew that he was lower in status as of that moment when Moony had chosen to fight for the wolf. It was the smell that the slightly older but smaller wolf had given off; Moony knew that they were meant for each other… he also knew that Remus wouldn’t like the fact that his mate was a wolf. (A/N: remember from my A/N at the top that Moony doesn’t realize that Harry is actually human because he’s never met a wolf Animagus, he just thinks that he is hiding something under his pale skin. He thinks he’s some kind of special breed of magical wolf.) If it had been another werewolf, or even a human who knew werewolf edict, Remus would have been ecstatic. The werewolf knew that his other half was lonely, and in denial about being gay… hopefully he would lose that prejudice, he’d been living with his parents before The Stag had offered him a home. His parents had them living in a muggle town to be away from the censuring eyes of the Wizarding World.
Having a werewolf as a son was shameful to them; having said son get loose to bite a Wizard was preposterous. Muggles led such boring lives; they could use some sprucing up… if only the Ministry hadn’t kept such a close eye on the little flee-bag…
Moony knew that if he didn’t at least mark the smaller wolf, he would lose him forever. Remus was smart enough to pick up on the completely obvious lust and mutual companionship he hadn’t felt for the others that stayed with him: The Dog, The Stag, or The Rat. Remus would make sure to stay away from his little one and he’d never get the chance to see him again!
He looked over at Padfoot, who had passed out because of how bad his leg was throbbing. Moony knew he wouldn’t wake any time soon. Healing in Animagus form was tiring, but Padfoot wouldn’t be able to turn back as long as his unconscious mind sensed some kind of potential danger. A lot of Animagi ended up dying that way; but since Pads wasn’t bleeding, Moony wasn’t worried. He scooted the smaller wolf away from him and stood up slowly, so he wouldn’t chance waking the dog from his unconsciousness. Harry was looking at him oddly; he’d almost been asleep until the werewolf had moved him.
Moony nudged him farther away from Padfoot, and where they had been laying next the small single-sized bed, pushing him towards the other wall. Harry huffed slightly at being moved but got up on his own and padded softly towards where Moony had been pushing him.
He felt a cold wetness near his rear end and scuttled towards the wall faster in surprise. When he stopped, he looked over his shoulder to look at the werewolf and instantly felt his wet, dark flamingo-pink, wolf cock slide out of its protective covering. Moony was right behind him and looking at him in a way that could clearly be called lust. It didn’t matter what form something was in: Lust could be easily read in the eyes, all you had to do was know what to look for.
It also helped that he could see that the werewolf’s huge, red, slick prick was out and leaking.
The werewolf nosed his arse again and Harry made sure his tail was out of the way. Moony growled low in his throat and Harry went down onto his back with his legs splayed out and his tail to the side. Moony crawled over top of him and nuzzled his nose into Harry’s throat to show his pride in being obeyed. He kept nuzzling Harry all the way down his ribcage and stomach till he got to the slick, weeping cock. He licked it, pressing it down onto Harry’s abdomen, creating a delicious friction. Harry just whimpered; he didn’t really know what else to do. Moony had basically told him to get on his back and stay still. His muscles were jumpy, though, and caused his legs to twitch. When Harry was basically a pile of goo (seriously, he’d always been a pile of goo for this werewolf), Moony moved further down to Harry’s only opening. He used the flat edge of his tongue to swipe at the pucker before gently nipping at it with his teeth. He nudged Harry onto his stomach, and grabbed the smaller wolf by the tail before jerking his head up enough that Harry’s back paws came off of the ground. He let go of Harry’s tail as Harry lifted his arse in the air and stretched out, ready for anything that Moony felt like giving him.
At first, Harry hadn’t been sure what to think when Moony had first started nuzzling down his abdomen but he realized that the werewolf was scent marking him and it tickling slightly, and even though it the thought nearly broke his heart, he let him. His last thought before Moony reached his cock had been: ‘He’s marking me as his; this might be the only chance I get to be with him. Remus sure as hell doesn’t seem interested enough; Moony is, so I’ll take what he’s bloody well willing to give me.’ He’d been hard-pressed to sit still as Moony had licked him, it had only made his arousal worse, and he’d wanted to do the same for his werewolf but the one time he’d tried to move Moony had growled softly and nipped at his soft, vulnerable stomach.
When Moony finally bade him to turn over, he was more than ready to let the werewolf have his way. It was the least he could do for the werewolf he loved, because if he was completely honest, he’d wanted this for years. He’d wanted to be taken by both halves, to try to heal the rift that Remus put between himself and his werewolf. To show Remus that he loved him, that Harry loved Remus and Moony together, unconditionally. He could remember the first wet dream he’d had about Remus, the first wet dream about Moony, and the first wet dream about both together as one. It made him shiver in anticipation for what was going to happen. He knew that if Remus would accept Moony, he wouldn’t have so much trouble during the full moon. It would be almost no pain, all because if they were together it wouldn’t be a whole month of changing pains thrown into one transformation. Like PMS cramps from Hell, except without all the bleeding, was what werewolves felt when they didn’t accept themselves and only transformed when forced to by Mother Moon.
Moony nosed his backside again, Harry moved his tail out of the way, and Moony swiped the flat edge of his tongue across the pucker again. He got lower and licked at the smaller wolf’s balls, making sure that he could smell his own scent all over his little one’s unprotected underbelly. He’d work on scent marking the rest of him later. As he licked at his little one’s pucker again, the smaller wolf whined.
Giving a low yip and moving his hips backwards towards Moony, Harry let Moony know that he was ready to continue. Moony let go of Harry’s neck long enough to swipe his tongue from the back of his neck to the tip of his left ear, before he went back to holding onto the back of Harry’s neck. Moony gave a thrust and Harry immediately pushed back, Harry didn’t care if Moony ended up hitting his little bundle of nerves in this form. All he cared about was the fact that he felt full to the point of bursting, and he wanted more.
It was fast, it was brutal, and it was animalistic in its intensity. They both loved it. Moony would push his length all the way in as Harry shoved himself backwards, then they would pull apart just enough that the tip of Moony’s red cock was barely inside Harry’s arse before shoving it in again. Harry would let out little yips of pleasure as he panted under Moony as Moony would flex his jaw to lessen or intensify the hold on Harry. Moony was thrusting in and out, in rapid succession, and Harry could feel Moony’s knot filling and moving up his cock. When it got to Harry’s entrance, Harry shoved himself back into it, howling lowly at how good it felt. Harry’s own knot was filled at the tip, and he felt himself burst at the same time that Moony did. Moony stilled momentarily before using his flexibility as a werewolf to bend until his jaws could clamp onto the skin of Harry’s flank.
It was at the spot where torso met leg. It was an unorthodox place to put a mating mark, but it was also a place that not a lot would think to look.
Moony bit hard enough that he knew it would scar permanently, it wouldn’t have mattered if he had the Werewolf healing ability, as Moony willed the bite mark to scar over immediately. It was like months of healing compacted into a few seconds, but it had no time for the mark to get smaller and fade. Moony knew that no matter how far Remus tried to go to get away from his little wolf, Moony would be able to get back to his mate.
Lying underneath Moony, Harry felt complete… Well, almost complete. He still needed Remus to accept him, but Moony had; so he was mostly complete. He was tired though, and Moony was actually heavy, but Moony’s knot was still hard within him so he didn’t try to move. He felt tired enough to fall asleep, though, so he whined toward Moony who was able to lick the side of his face. Harry turned his head into the lick and licked Moony’s nose, which was the only thing he could reach since Moony was pulling away to lick at the pool of cold cum on the ground. It was like the werewolf wanted to know everything about how he tasted, like he wasn’t sure if they would be together again.
When Remus woke up the morning after the full moon, he felt that Moony was calmer than he’d ever been but the wolf was also worried about something. He was in the infirmary, in the bed furthest from the double doors heading out into the rest of the castle. It was also the bed that was closest to Madam Pomfrey’s office, which meant that something bad had happened during the night.
Madam Pomfrey came out of her office before he could do anything more than take a deep breath to call out for her. ‘She must have found a charm that would work for checking the awareness of werewolves.’ Remus thought as she brought a couple of Pain Potions and a Pepper-Up to his bedside table.
“Mister Lupin,” she said sternly. “You need to be more careful. You could have seriously hurt Sirius Black last night. As it is, you broke his leg. I don’t know how he convinced you to let him go with you--” She was interrupted by Professor Dumbledore.
“Now, now… Poppy, don’t be so hard him. You know how convincing Sirius Black can be.” Dumbledore had stepped out of her office holding a cup of hot tea. “All harm is healed and nothing permanent is left.” He took a sip of the tea that she had just poured him before one of her charms had gone off. “This tea is delicious, Poppy! What kind of tea is this?”
Poppy smiled slightly, she knew he was trying to distract her from what he’d told her while in her office. “Ok, Albus, but I’m not going to forget what you told me.” She watched him take another drink of the tea. “It’s called Chai tea, Albus. I got it from an American Medi-witch who also works in a muggle hospital, she said it was good for calming emotions and boosting the thought process. Like a Pepper-Up potion, except it doesn’t take as long to make.”
“Ah, we should start serving it on cold mornings for breakfast. It would make a great addition to the drinks already served.” Dumbledore sighed happily as he took in the aroma of the hot tea, before looking at Remus and speaking to him softly. “Now, Remus… You are an adult. You should accept your wolf soon, otherwise it may kill you… unless you find your mate, then it will make sure you survive no matter what cost.”
Madam Pomfrey gave Remus a slightly sad look, and patted his hand where it lay beside his leg on the bed, before walking to the bed opposite his. It, incidentally, had Sirius sitting up and eating breakfast in it. Sirius saw Remus looking at him and waved happily, showing he had no hard feelings. Remus waved back before paying attention to Dumbledore.
“One of these days, Remus, you will find the one meant for you. He will fulfill all your needs--” Dumbledore started to say before being interrupted by Remus.
“I’m sorry sir, but I’m not gay. I’m not even bisexual…” Remus said slowly, blushingly embarrassed.
Dumbledore looked at him steadily enough to make him want to squirm, before sighing and giving him a sad look that was even more depressing than Madam Pomfrey’s had been, and nodded. “Alright, Remus, I’ll see you and Sirius at supper when you get better I hope?”
Remus nodded.
Dumbledore walked back into the office and came back out without the cup of tea he’d been drinking, stopped to talk to Sirius and Pomfrey, and walked out of the Hospital Wing.
Remus sat in bed and felt like he’d just been placated.
