A fluffy little oneshot with some bondage at
Christmas time.
Not really necessary to read my other work if you’re just after smut, but if
you want the little nuances explaining, you need to read the other work under
my UN. Thanks for reading, please review if you can, it’d be much appreciated.
For Davinci and abbicee, who asked
for more. This’ll be the last for a little while from
Ron and Severus, because I want to start on other fics,
but hope you like it, and it certainly won’t be the last xx
***
“Buggering bastard fuck!” There was a loud clang.
Severus
heard the crash in the kitchen and raised his eyebrows at Remus.
“Is he alright?” Remus moved to get up.
“Sit down,”
Severus shook his head. “He’s just finding out that the Christmas dinner his
mother puts together every year for twelve people is hard… and he’s only making
it for two.”
“He didn’t
want to go to his family for Christmas?”
Severus
shook his head. “No, he was adamant he wanted his first Christmas with me here…
I did offer but like I say, he was insistent.”
“And you’re
letting him stand in there doing it all himself?” Remus asked pointedly.
“I don’t
cook. And the last time I went in there, he nearly threw food at me. And then
he shouted at me because he said I’d made him act like his mum.”
“Still you
could try.”
“And why
the hell aren’t you at home helping your own wife make food for tomorrow?!”
Severus shot indignantly, getting to his feet.
“Because, I needed to bring you Ron’s Christmas present. And anyway, Dora will
cook when I want the house burnt down. We’re going to her parents’. Promise me
you’ll take good care?”
“Do you
think I’m so incompetent-”
He shut his
mouth as Ron stamped into the room, covered in something that looked like
stuffing.
“I’m just
off,” Remus smiled at him. “Hope you have a lovely first Christmas together.”
He threw a
wink at Severus and left via the Floo, leaving Ron muttering under his breath.
“So… do you
want to talk about it?” Severus raised an eyebrow.
“No. Stupid fucking dinner.” Ron sniffed. He held out his hand.
“I burnt myself.”
“Aren’t you
beaten and battered enough?” Severus chided, and walked into the bathroom to find
some burn salve.
“I know,”
Ron muttered, following him. “I did try to be careful.”
Severus
didn’t reply as he applied the cream to the burn with gentle fingers. “I feel
like I’m forever fixing you,” he put the lid back on the jar. He levitated it
back into the bathroom and used the opportunity to slide his arms around Ron.
He shied away, “Don’t. I’m covered in half-cooked lumps of chestnut and bacon.”
Severus ignored him and pulled him into a kiss, tasting all sorts on his lips.
Ron gave up his sulk and kissed him back, tightening his arms and sliding one
hand down to grope Severus’ backside.
“So what
happened?” Severus asked quietly in his ear.
“It
exploded,” Ron replied tremulously.
Don’t laugh. Don’t laugh. A giggle was trying to gurgle up his
windpipe. Don’t laugh.
“I know you
want to laugh at me,” Ron said in a tired voice. “I’m just trying to make our
first Christmas together perfect and normal.”
“We don’t
need a big fancy dinner for it to be perfect,” Severus frowned. “You know that.
You know I don’t eat much anyway.”
“Yeah but still.”
“Ron, why
are you really doing this?”
“Because I like Christmas.”
“Why?”
“Because I like Christmas.”
Severus
sighed and pulled away. “Not because you’re still so unsettled by this year
you’d like something new to focus on?”
Ron didn’t
answer him, so he knew he’d struck gold.
“Ron, come
on. Even without what happened in the Ministry this year would never have been
normal. You left Hogwarts. You met me, you left home, you moved in with me.
Tell me, at what point of the year did you get a normality scale?”
Ron exhaled
and ran his hands through his hair and looked doubtfully at the mess in the
kitchen. “I know I’m being stupid.” He walked into the kitchen, picking his way
through the mess. He pulled out his wand and sent everything he’d produced into
the bin and set some cleaning spells to work.
“There was
no need to bin it all,” Severus said, teetering on the verge of despair.
“It was all
crap.”
“You’re a
great cook, I fail to believe that,” Severus pressed Ron into the worktop and
kissed him. “Just calm down, okay? We don’t need a
great dinner to make a brilliant Christmas, and you don’t have to work yourself
into the ground for that either. I’m putting my foot down. No more cooking, no
more banging and swearing, no more forcing me to try it all. If I eat one more
variation of stuffing I might actually die. Do you want me to die Ron?” He was
smiling, trying to tease one out of Ron’s own lips.
“Because it was so bad?”
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh.” Severus grabbed his face between
his hands. “Stop.”
Severus
wanted to cancel Christmas, if it would stop Ron acting so strangely, he’d do
it. He’d never liked the holiday anyway; he rarely celebrated it –purely
because there had been no real reason to celebrate.
“I’m
sorry,” Ron’s face relaxed into a smile. “I know I’ve been a nutter this past week.”
“Understatement,”
Severus said honestly, raising his eyebrows. “I wondered where my Ron had
gone.”
Ron kissed
him on the lips as an apology.
“You’re
forgiven,” Severus grinned. “Now. Would you like me to
go through the fire and tell your mother she has two more guests for dinner
tomorrow?”
Ron shook
his head.
What more do you want? I am saying
ALL the right things here?!
“I don’t
want to spend the day getting pitiful glances and people speaking to me like
I’m about to break down.”
“Are you
about to break down?” Severus said with a bite to his tone.
“No.”
“Then act
like you’re not,” Severus said bluntly. “You’re moping again.”
“I’m not
moping,” Ron muttered. “Much. And anyway, who are you to lecture me? When you dropped that bottle the other day who sat and sulked for a
whole afternoon about the loss of function in his wand arm?!”
“If you’d
dropped and smashed something that cost you twenty galleons you would be a bit
pissed off too!”
“I know,
but still. I don’t think the way you took it out on the tree in the garden was
really constructive.”
“It was in
danger of falling down anyway; it was endangering the boundary fence.” Severus
sniffed nonchalantly.
“Well
taking an axe to it certainly achieved that aim.”
“You seemed
to like watching me hack at it with my shirt off.”
“Well, I’ve
been sexually mutilated, not blinded,” Ron winked. “You got all sweaty and hot and…”
Severus
kissed him on the lips. “Mmmm.”
“How about
we make a new Christmas Eve tradition?” Severus smiled.
“What did
you have in mind?” Ron raised his eyebrow.
“Well, how
about we go upstairs and play with one of your Christmas presents a bit early?”
“What is
it?” Ron asked immediately, his eyes lighting up.
“Remember
that time you asked me to get you some… bondage stuff?”
“You
didn’t,” Ron looked at him incredulously.
“I did…”
“You got me
bondage stuff for Christmas?” Ron asked, sounding amused.
“Why don’t
you go upstairs and find out? I’ll be up in a minute,” Severus kissed him.
Ron didn’t
need to be told twice, he turned and legged it up the
stairs as fast as his battered body could carry him. Severus followed gingerly
and then when he heard Ron’s cry of delight in the bedroom, he quickly opened
the door to the cupboard under the stairs.
He was met
with a playful little squeal. “Shh! You’ll give it
all away.”
There was a
clatter as he heard the cage being buffered against and another playful squeal.
“Be quiet,” Severus tried to say more sternly, but he knew it was pointless.
He quietly
shut the door with a wave and made his way up the stairs, not bothering to turn
the lights off as he knew he would be back down within the hour. He found Ron
sitting cross-legged on their made bed, holding up one of the items he’d left
out for him.
“Okay. Now,
What the hell is this?” Ron tilted his head. “I can’t
make it out.”
“Use your
imagination,” Severus smiled, and walked to the curtains and pulled them shut.
“I’m
trying,” Ron tilted his head the other way.
“It’s a
body harness, of sorts.”
“Ohhhhh. So…”
“Yes, head
there, arms there, legs there and…”
“… Merlin,
whoever made this was optimistic,” Ron smirked, peering through the crotch hole
at Severus, who laughed.
Ron set it
down and picked up the spanking paddle next to his knee. “This looks a bit
painful.”
“It will
save my hand,” Severus perched on the end of the bed, picking up something
else.
“What does
that do?” Ron looked at him, eyeing it up.
“Forms a
ring around the bottom of your erection, stops you from coming too soon,
supposedly.”
“Only supposedly?”
“Never
found one that worked on me,” Severus grinned, throwing it on the blanket. “But
you said you wanted to try it.”
“I have the
best husband in the world,” Ron crawled forward and kissed Severus.
“Yes, you
do,” Severus grinned cockily and pushed Ron onto his back and straddled him.
“Do you want to try this stuff out then?”
“More than
I want to never see a bowl of stuffing again,” Ron smiled and threw his head
back, leaving his neck open for an attack.
Severus
immediately got off him. “Strip.”
“I’m lazy,”
Ron didn’t move from his sprawled position on the bed, grinning.
“I said,
strip,” Severus repeated, waving his wand, and Ron found himself kneeling on
the bed. “I’m not doing it for you.”
Scowling,
Ron pulled his messy t-shirt off and threw it at Severus, where it hit him in
the chest. His fingers skimmed over the button of his jeans and wriggled out of
them, taking his pants down with them. “Happy now, stripped?” Ron rolled his
eyes.
“I wish
you’d taken my suggestion of that nudist colony seriously,” Severus murmured
wistfully, eyes drinking in the sight of Ron.
“I’m only
naked for you,” Ron winked suggestively. “I highly doubt that anyone else would
have a skinny, scarred, broken runt like me.”
“No
self-depreciation,” Severus commanded.
“I am all of those things,” Ron said, and
for a moment Severus thought he was going to sag on the bed, roll over and not
want to fool around any more. It wouldn’t be the first time. But he remained
upright kneeling on the bed.
Unable to
let Ron go without a loving touch, Severus reached forward and ran a hand down
the scar on his chest, settling on the one on his groin. “All of those things
you might think you are, and you are skinny
and scarred and a little bit broken, but I love you anyway.”
Ron smiled
tentatively and Severus knew he’d said the right thing.
“So… where do we start then?” Ron looked around at the things on the bed.
“Harness,”
Severus threw his wand on the bed and helped Ron into it.
“I told you they were really optimistic when they made that crotch hole,” Ron shrugged as he looked down and found himself
feeling quite inadequate in the space provided.
“Trust me,
you want this too big rather than too small,” Severus deftly buckled Ron in.
“It hurts when it’s too small.”
“Voice of experience?”
“Why do you
think I wear such loose underwear?!”
“So now I’m
in it…?”
“I could do
anything.” Severus picked up his wand again and gave it a wave.
Ron found
himself semi suspended from the ceiling by chains attached to the harness,
facing the mattress, torso raised up but legs trailing on the bed. “Okay, I see
your point.”
Severus
waved his wand again, enjoying himself; Ron then found himself still suspended,
but upside down.
“Upside
down?” he stared at Severus, disorientated.
“You don’t
seem to be minding,” Severus laughed, running a finger down Ron’s growing
erection. “Think of the easy access my mouth would have with that.”
“But my
hands are free, surely I could work my way out of this?”
Severus
waved his wand again and Ron was flat on his back on the bed, arms tied to his
sides using hooks on the harness and his fingers specifically bound together.
“Can you
move them now?” Severus asked with a grin.
“No, point
taken,” Ron tried to move against it, Severus deftly tied his ankles to the raised
bedposts at the end of the bed.
“You seem
to like that,” he laughed, watching Ron’s erection spring even further to
attention.
“I do.”
Dropping
his wand, Severus picked up the aforementioned cock ring and slipped it into
position, making Ron gasp with the intensified sensation he had been blessed
with ever since he was attacked. Then he flicked the teeny switch and waited
for the reaction.
“Fuck me,” Ron hissed. “It buzzes?”
“It buzzes,”
Severus nodded. “Nice, huh? Even if
it’s not going to stop anything.”
“Mmm fuck yeah, it’s good. Probably not as good for me as it
would be for anyone else though, considering.”
Severus
picked up his wand and pocketed it. “Right then. Well.
You enjoy yourself. I’ll be back later on.”
Ron’s eyes
flew wide as he took in Severus’ words. “What, you’re going to leave me here?”
“Of
course,” Severus motioned as if it were a perfectly normal thing to do. “You
need to get acquainted with your new toys.” A smirk played about his lips.
“Severus come on,” Ron grunted with the effort of trying to fight
against his bindings.
“No, but
please, you come…enjoy it,” he winked and began to walk to the room.
“The only reason I wanted these things was to enjoy them with you,” Ron sounded
a little desperate.
“And the
only reason I’ve got you them is to get you out of my hair whilst I wrap up
your other Christmas presents,” he hooked up his eyebrow with a smug smirk as
Ron’s mouth fell open at being tricked.
“You
arsehole,” he scowled.
“I suggest
you lay there and think of all the things we could do with them…”
“Oh I will,
I’ll be thinking of putting you in them and pulling the same kind of vindictive
trap.”
“I don’t
get caught,” Severus shrugged, folding his arms over his chest. “I’ve learnt
the hard way not to.”
Ron shook
his head. “You’ve never been caught by someone you actually wanted to catch
you.”
Severus
thought on how to respond to that, but decided actions were better than words.
He waved his wand again and Ron found himself gagged and unable to get anything
other than a muffled scream out.
“Enjoy,”
Severus turned and left, hearing mad shuffling on the bed and what sounded like
‘you fucking whore’ against the gag on the bed.
He walked
down the stairs with the biggest grin on his face and an erection rivalling
Ron’s in his own underwear. He allowed himself a few rubs with his hand before
walking into the living room and clearing away the mess from the day. A few more
muffled shouts made their way down the stairs to him and he smiled again and
his dick gave an excited twinge. Later! Impatient. He would know if Ron was getting seriously
distressed by the super-sensory charms he’d placed on the bed without him
knowing. He was too wary of Ron being scarred by his incident in the summer to
live without them… even if they did betray his trust slightly. He’d never have
to know, and they kept him safe. With them, Severus would never unintentionally
be able to scare or hurt him sexually. It was only right, after what he’d been
through. Right now, the sensory charms were dead, not even peaking a little. So
he knew Ron was really okay with what had happened.
Using his
wand, he set a charm to wrapping the presents he’d stored in the cupboard under
the stairs –a new wizard chess set, some new sunglasses (which he’d found
essential after Ron had been laid up for two days with a migraine after a day
in autumn sun), a new pair of keeper’s gloves, some broom polish (with a note
for added innuendo), some of his favourite bubble bath (as Severus had noted,
the most expensive one in the whole of the house) and some aftershave. Not that
Ron really shaved. But he liked the smell.
“Now, what
am I going to do with you?” He walked to the door quietly and looked down in the
cage, where a puppy wagged its tail eagerly at him and put its paws up on the
cage.
He quickly
bent down and unlatched the cage door, scooping the puppy into his arms as soon
as it bundled out, and took it through the kitchen and into the back garden. As
soon as he put it down, the dog loped away, tail wagging, and lifted his leg
against the rubbish bin.
“No, don’t do that,” Severus hissed.
It had been
Remus that convinced him that a puppy would be a brilliant present for Ron. Severus
knew Ron adored dogs, especially over cats, and it would serve as a nice
companion. Maybe fill a hole. But that didn’t distract from the fact that
Severus wasn’t particularly good with animals, even magical ones, like the
puppy that was now sitting and looking up at him obediently. Remus had chosen the
most intelligent dog from the litter than Tonks’ parents had been forced to
birth after their faithful bitch had been jumped by another dog in the park. Of
course, their dog had been magical; the randy assailant in the park had been a
normal, muggle animal. So the puppies were only half magical, but it was enough
to give them the intelligence for learning and obedience, which, Severus
thanked his lucky stars, Tonks’ parents had already done a lot of. He crouched
down and reached out a hand to the dog, which licked it.
“I haven’t
picked a name for you yet… I think we should let him choose, don’t you?” he
whispered quietly, wary of his words carrying up to the bedroom.
The puppy
looked at him with chocolate-y eyes.
Severus
stroked a silky ear and tilted his head, having a staring contest with the dog.
With the same playful squeal that he had given him in the cupboard, the puppy
dropped onto his back, waved his legs in the air and looked purposefully at
Severus, who instinctively rubbed its belly.
“Maybe we’re
going to get along better than I thought,” Severus mused with a smile. “You’re
quiet and you love belly rubs. You’re sounding more like me every second.”
The dog
wriggled on the floor. Severus picked it up and stood for a moment, cuddling it
in his arms. “You also don’t smell as bad as I thought you would,” he told it,
and it turned its head to lick up his cheek. “Alright, don’t go getting too
familiar,” Severus muttered.
Against his
better judgement he placed a kiss on the top of its head and carried it back in
the kitchen, shutting the door behind him. “You have to be quiet, or he’ll
figure out you’re his Christmas present,” he whispered, hoping he wasn’t
pushing his assumptions of the animal’s intelligence too far. But when he put
the dog down, it even seemed to walk quietly.
He pulled a
bowl out from the cupboard, filled it with water and set it down on the floor
for the dog to drink, which it did, quietly. “Bloody amazing.
I should have got a dog a long time ago,” Severus hissed. The dog looked up at
him.
Quickly, he
fed him and let him back out into the garden to see if he wanted to relieve
himself again, which he did, this time over the weedy flowers which, no matter
what Ron did, kept on coming back when he gardened. Then, the puppy trotted
back inside after merrily kicking its heels up on the grass, and waited in the
hallway.
“In the cage,” Severus motioned. “Just for tonight, whilst he
doesn’t know. I’m sorry you have to go in, little one.” Little one? What the fuck? Three minutes and you’re Mr
Animal Lover?!
The puppy
didn’t seem bothered as it loped in, and Severus pointed to the newspapered corner next to the comfortable blanket Remus
had left him. “If you need to ‘go’ in the night, you go here, okay?” He tapped
his finger on the paper, and the dog looked first at him, then at the paper,
and then curled up on the blanket. “Night night,”
Severus whispered, and dimmed the light to a minimum, and closed the door.
In the
living room all the presents had been wrapped. It was a sizable pile and that
was the way he wanted it, he wanted to truly spoil Ron rotten. He’d had one
hell of a year. He directed them under their little Christmas tree which
twinkled at him. He turned off all the lights, locked the back door and blocked
the Floo (learnt my lesson now)
before mounting the stairs up to the bedroom. The sight he found there made him
instantly hard again.
Ron was, of
course, exactly where he’d been left an hour earlier, straining against his
bonds, erection huge, face flustered. Severus smiled and removed the gag.
“You bastard,” Ron panted at him instantly. “How dare you?”
“You can’t
tell me you didn’t enjoy it,” Severus shook his head, slipping off the cock
ring with gentle fingers, knowing by now Ron would be in pain if he were
touched.
“I did enjoy
it but… I missed you.”
“And I
missed you,” Severus grinned, and with a wave of his wand Ron found himself
free and naked on the bed.
It was a
moment before he moved, but he moved his long limbs and sat up, watching
Severus neatly put all of the stuff on the chair in their bedroom.
“Why are
you putting it away?” Ron asked.
“Because
it’s bedtime,” Severus shrugged, and started removing his clothing.
Ron didn’t
reply, merely watched him undress. His eyes focussed, as they always did, on
the hideous scarring on Severus’ right shoulder, and on the arm which always
now sat slightly slack. But then his eyes moved to his stomach, flat,
surprisingly toned for his age (though of course Ron would never say that), and
down his thin legs to his feet.
“Nightly perve over?” Severus smiled, folding his
trousers and throwing them on the arm of the chair holding the bondage gear.
Ron snorted
and got off the bed, throwing back the covers and shaking out his pillows to
check for spiders.
“I’m
telling you there aren’t any spiders getting past my charms,” Severus told him,
sinking into his own side of the bed without checking, relaxing as his head hit
the pillow.
“Better to
be safe than sorry,” Ron muttered, plumping the top pillow before chucking it
down on top of the other.
He got into
bed, pulled the covers back over them, pointed his wand at the window to fit
the blackout blind, and extinguished the lights, drenching them both in
immediate darkness. Ron let out an appreciative little groan and shifted
further down in the bed.
“Tired?”
Severus asked, unusually rolling onto his side and wrapping himself into Ron.
“Mmm,” Ron answered, his hand finding Severus’ back and
trailing up and down his spine with his fingers.
“Is your
burn gone yet?”
“It’s
getting there,” Ron answered, still in a non-committal tone.
“Are you
okay?” Severus kissed the only part of him he could reach, the side of his
ribcage.
“Mmm,” Ron replied again.
Severus
sighed and returned to his position on his back. Whilst he tried to be patient
with Ron, sometimes he couldn’t stand his childish nature. Even though Severus
knew the age difference between them caused that, he found it hard to take. So
he settled himself on his back, one hand on his stomach, the other on the bed
in between them, should Ron want to hold it.
“I’m sorry
about being mad this past week,” Ron said quietly. “I really am.”
“I
understand,” Severus felt his hand grow warm as Ron covered it with his own.
“No you
don’t. You hate Christmas. I can remember being thirteen and nearly wetting
myself because Dumbledore kept making you pull crackers with him and you had
this hideous look on your face, like you were going through ritual torture.”
“They’re
dangerous,” Severus protested. “Every year, someone ends up in the Hospital
wing with a black eye. I just didn’t want it to be me. Not with you two sitting
there sniggering at me! And, the hats always make you look stupid.”
He felt
relieved as Ron finally rolled over and cuddled into him, hooking his leg over
his and putting his arm protectively over Severus’ stomach.
“And I
don’t…. I don’t hate Christmas as
such.”
“Could have
fooled me,” Ron muttered.
“It’s nice
if you’ve got someone to share it with. Pretty shit if you don’t, though.”
“I suppose…
I guess it’s not something I’ve ever really had to think about.”
“Well if
you’ve been surrounded by people all your life, you wouldn’t.”
“Is it
wrong that I sometimes dreamt of that kind of peacefulness?” Ron asked him.
“That sometimes I was just on my own?”
“Everyone
needs time to themselves,” Severus reasoned. “As long as you
didn’t wish anyone dead to achieve it.”
“If you met
my Aunt Muriel you’d understand,” he knew Ron was smiling.
“Do you
know how much I dreamt of having a family member who I could see regularly who
would fuss over my hair, tell me off and yet still actually love me?”
“That old
bat doesn’t care about any of us,” Ron laughed. “As long as we look after her in
her old age… And, last time she saw me, she told me she’d never considered
having a eunuch as a nephew. Really, you think there’s love there?”
“Why didn’t
you tell me that?” Severus asked, annoyed that Ron was still withholding
information like that from him.
“It wasn’t important,” Ron pulled his arm back to trace a pattern around
Severus’ belly button.
“Anyone
else insulted you recently and you forgot to tell me?”
“Well,
there was a slightly sticky meeting with Draco Malfoy in Diagon
Alley the other day when I was doing my Christmas shopping.”
“WHAT!?!”
Severus’ hackles were shot through the roof and his heartbeat accelerated.
“Tell me what he said, word for word.”
Ron tutted and massaged with his hand. “Pipe down, it was nothing too
bad.”
“Anything
that blonde fucker has to say is bad. He has no right even opening his mouth in
your presence considering what his father did to you.”
“He didn’t
actually say anything, his face said it all.”
“You’re
lying.” Severus said flatly.
“I am not,”
Ron frowned. “I’m telling you. I was buying something for you, and he was there
obviously shopping too… we looked at each other, he looked me up and down with
a smirk on his face, I scowled at him and he practically ran out of the shop.”
Severus
couldn’t help a little smile. He’d noticed recently that when Ron scowled, he
was starting to pull the same facial expressions as Severus himself. No wonder
Malfoy had cheesed it.
“Alright, I
believe you.”
“Why?”
“Because
now when you scowl, you’re starting to look like me. You probably scared seven
shades of shit out of darling little Draco.”
Ron snorted
and slid his hand into Severus’ underwear, fondling him absentmindedly. “Should
I be worried I’m apparently morphing into you?”
“No. I
found myself cocking my head to the side the other day doing the crossword
before I realised that’s what you do when you’re trying to figure anything
out.”
“We’re
morphing into each other,” Ron cackled.
Severus
ignored him and arched into his hand slightly, erection growing for the third
time that night. Without saying another word, Ron wrapped his fingers around it
and began stroking firmly, settling into a rhythm. He raised his head to kiss
along Severus’ chest and latched his mouth over a nipple, flicking it with his
tongue. Severus groaned and moved to try and reciprocate, but Ron refused to
budge. “Stay put,” he muttered, speeding up his hand.
“Why?” Severus’ voice gave a wobble as Ron ran his fingers over the ridged part
of his cock near the tip.
“You seem
to have gotten it into your head that everything has to be about me…” Ron
kissed his scarred shoulder. “It doesn’t. Just lay there and enjoy it, for
once.”
“But I
enjoy making it about you,” Severus protested.
“Well
that’s great but you really need to let me have my way once in a while,” he
eased off the pace and squeezed even more firmly, smiling at the gasp which
came out of Severus’ lips.
Even though
it was dark, he knew exactly how his face would look, head tilted back,
slightly, eyes closed, brow creased and lips slightly parted. He’d seen that
face enough times to know it by heart. It was never any less beautiful.
He shifted
up, keeping his hand where it was, and kissed the parted lips softly, slipping
his tongue in and sighing. He knew he’d won the challenge as Severus merely
kept one hand on Ron’s back and the other on his own stomach, but kissed him
back. Possessively, Ron tugged the leg he had his own hooked around further
underneath him, trapping it. He kicked out his other leg and when his foot
connected with Severus’ he pushed it further out. He used his unoccupied arm to
gather Severus’ hands and pin them above his head on the pillows. There was
minimal force involved, but it was enough, he knew, to evoke the feeling of
being restricted.
“Aren’t you
glad I taught you how to do that?” Severus asked him teasingly, arching his
back to make it more comfortable. “I am, that’s for
sure.”
Ron
chuckled and kissed him again. His co-ordination had definitely improved since
the last time he’d done it, because he was able to keep a steady rhythm in
between Severus’ legs, bringing him nearer and nearer to orgasm. All the
tell-tale signs were there: short gasping breath, hips rising to meet his hand,
low grumbles in his throat, body heat rising…
“You
haven’t let me do this in ages,” Ron said happily, kissing down his throat with
extra vigour.
Severus
didn’t reply, he was lost in the feeling of being trapped and wanked by Ron, which, although was relatively simple, he
found was his favourite way. He hissed as Ron gently sucked on his earlobe and
arched into his hand again.
“Kiss me,”
he muttered, and when Ron complied with a hot, wet kiss on the mouth, he arched
up again and grunted into his lips, spilling all over Ron’s hand.
Coming down
from the high, he kept his lips to Ron’s, kissing him as his crotch throbbed
and the tingling sensation made him hiss.
“That was
quick,” Ron commented archly, stilling his hand and pulling it out of the
underwear.
Severus
didn’t need to see it to know it was now raised to his mouth, being licked
clean like always. He didn’t reply to Ron’s observation, simply stretched as
his body was released from the light hold, and sank back into his normal
sleeping position, waiting for Ron to fall in next to him.
But Ron got
up, to his surprise, and Severus heard him fumble for his pyjama bottoms.
“Where are
you going?” Severus sat up and tried to make him out in the dark, but it was
futile.
He suddenly
found himself bound, unable to move, a gasp on his lips. “Ron?”
“You think
you’re the only person who has presents to wrap?” Ron muttered, and stalked out
of the room.
Bastard.
***
Severus
didn’t remember falling asleep, but he must have done, as he jerked awake. Rolling
over, he found his restraints gone and he curled into Ron appreciatively. He
raised his head slightly to look at the glowing alarm clock Ron had finally
been able to put in the bedroom. It was four in the morning. Sleepily, Severus
thought back over their argument. He hadn’t really understood why Ron would
need to know the time in the middle of the night, but it transpired the
blackout blind really confused him and messed up his body clock. It wasn’t
until Severus realised he didn’t get up until 3pm one day that the blind might
be the problem. Without the clock to look at, Ron just assumed it was still
night time, and slept and slept and slept. And so he’d gotten his way.
Not that
Severus really minded -he didn’t like denying Ron anything he wanted. As his
husband, he didn’t see it was any of his business to; after all, he was a
spouse, not a parent. And yet he sometimes found himself falling into that trap
with the age difference. But Ron was no different and Severus found himself
being kept in line just as much. He’d realised that was just going to be the
nature of their relationship.
He snuggled
into Ron’s side, ignoring the slight ache in his bad shoulder as he did so. Ron
groaned slightly in his sleep, muttering something indecipherable. Cursing inwardly,
Severus felt his body starting to wake up, and knew he wouldn’t be falling
asleep again before the sunrise. Because of this, he rolled over and vanished the blackout blind, lightening the room a little.
It was raining outside; he could hear the continual patter of it into the
puddles outside. He could now see the rise and fall of Ron’s chest, and the
outline of his face with closed eyelids. He couldn’t count how many nights he’d
spent like this over the last month, lying awake just
watching Ron sleep whilst unable to himself. He placed a hand up on his chest
and watched it rise and fall with him. He had managed to curb his possessive
nature so much as not to stifle Ron, but it was still deep within him.
Everything he had loved in his life he had loved possessively. Even at school,
the best at potion making, he became incensed if anyone neared beating his top
grades. And now he knew he loved Ron possessively, from the way his temper
flared if anyone shot him a second glance in public, or even if friends got too
close.
Even
without that, the way his eyes were now stalking Ron’s chest, checking for
movement every second, would have told him he was in full swing of his family
traits. It frustrated him; he didn’t know how to stop. Luckily for him, Ron seemed
to actually like it, being held with such feeling, and looked after with such
vitality. Severus always had the fear lurking in his head, though, that he
would tire of it as he grew older, when he didn’t feel so lost in the world,
and that it would drive a wedge between them.
His fingers
lightly caressed the chest hair he found and smiled. Ron
murmured again, clearly restless. Severus shifted up so he was raised on
the pillows and pulled Ron to him in his arms, stroking his hair and breathing
in his scent.
***
“Merry
Christmas, sleepy head,” Severus smiled as Ron finally walked into the kitchen
at ten.
“Merry
Christmas,” he replied and stumbled over to place a sloppy, sleep-ridden kiss
on Severus’ lips. “Sorry I’m so late getting up… didn’t sleep very well.”
“I know,” Severus said, and poured him a cup of coffee from his new beloved
coffee maker.
“How long
have you been up?” Ron asked, looking at how clean the kitchen was and how most
of the coffee had already been drunk.
“Woke up at half past four, stayed in bed until half past six,” Severus
admitted.
“Why aren’t
you sleeping again?” Ron frowned.
“I don’t
know. Nothing bad woke me up, just couldn’t drift off again. You were muttering
in your sleep so I put myself to good use and cuddled you until I needed the
toilet.”
“Awh bless,” Ron winked at him, and took a mouthful of
coffee.
“You know,
I’m a little bit surprised… your mum told me you were a
bouncing-on-the-bed-at-three-am Christmas type.”
Ron
laughed. “I used to be.”
“Well there
is a massive pile of presents with your name on under the tree,” Severus
shrugged and walked into the living room.
“Christ,”
Ron followed him in. “There weren’t this many last night.”
“Your mum
popped in with them this morning,” Severus sat down on the floor next to the
tree and looked at Ron pointedly. “Come on then, have at it.”
With a grin
which finally made Severus feel a bit festive, Ron fell to his knees and pulled
a pile of presents towards him, then pushed them at Severus. “These are for
you. It’s not much but it’s all I could really afford whilst I’m still waiting
on my pay offs from the Ministry and the Hospital.”
Setting his
mug down, Severus felt unnerved. He wasn’t used to presents. With a quick glance
back over the years, it had been a long time since anybody had presented him
with anything at Christmas. “You shouldn’t have done that,” he shook his head.
“I know you’ve got next to nothing… meant in the nicest possible way.”
Ron
shrugged and pulled the presents his mum had left towards him, before
unashamedly tearing the paper off. “Ha, the usual Weasley jumper,” he smirked,
unravelling it and throwing it on over his t-shirt. “Hey, you’ve probably got
one too, your first Weasley Christmas Jumper!” he nodded at the lumpy object
wrapped up in the same paper but separate from Ron’s presents. “I can’t believe
you anally separated the presents into his and his piles.”
Severus
laughed and watched Ron unwrap a new box full of chocolate and sweets from
Harry.
“Tradition,”
Ron explained. “We stuff each other full of sweets and usually see who can get
the biggest sugar high.”
“Mature,”
Severus winked, hands still not opening his own pile –he was finding a strange
curious joy watching Ron open his presents.
Finally,
Ron’s hands made it to his own gifts and uncharacteristically his stomach
lurched. “I hope you like them,” he managed to smile.
“Oh
Merlin’s balls, this must have cost you a fortune,” Ron’s eyes went agog at the
chess set, which he turned over in his hands.
“So what if
it did?” Severus found himself happily shrugging.
Ron was
soon surrounded by a small mountain of wrapping paper. Puppy is going to have the time of its life rolling around in that lot.
As he inhaled on his new aftershave, Ron grinned. “I can’t believe you
actually remembered the name of the one in the entire perfumery that didn’t
have me gagging.”
“Of course
I remembered,” Severus grinned. “It smelt good.”
“This is
all amazing,” Ron looked at him bashfully. “You’ve spent far too much.”
“No, I
haven’t,” Severus said firmly and stared warningly. Don’t start this.
Ron simply
nodded. “Now, open your own really inferior pile of presents.” He waved his
hand at what was in Severus’ lap, still unopened.
Tentatively,
he undid the messy wrapping on one of the items and peered into it. “Ooh, thank
you,” he replied, pulling it out, realising instantly Ron’s intention. It was a
quill, much thicker than most, with extra grip around the writing end.
“I just
thought instead of struggling, that should be easier for you to grip with your
hand,” Ron explained unnecessarily.
“It’s
great, thank you.”
He moved
onto the next, a new pair of dragonhide gloves, the kind he’d mentioned wanting weeks ago. Then the next and
he couldn’t stop the gasp he emitted. “Ron, are you mad?”
He pulled
out the bottle in his hand and held it up to the light, the crystal sparkling
and the liquid shining, a replacement of the expensive bottle of unicorn tears
he had dropped the previous week. “Are you actually insane? This is…”
“A
replacement for what you lost,” Ron said in the same tone as Severus had when
he had put off Ron’s protest about cost.
Swallowing,
Severus set it carefully on the ground. He still had one larger present left
and he noticed Ron shift uncomfortably. “What?”
“Just not
sure if you’re… well. Just I noticed that yours is really… you can’t read half
of it because it’s so old. So…” He motioned to the wrapping which Severus
quickly peeled off, gripped by curiosity.
“Oh my….”
His mouth fell open as his hands caressed the leather bound book, the gold
lettering glinting at him. “How did you… what…”
It wasn’t
often Severus was rendered speechless and Ron knew it, from the big grin on his
face. “I know your copy was given to you by your mum, and it was passed down
through the family. But you can’t read it. I see you squinting at it when
you’re following instructions. I know that copy has sentimental ties to it, so
I thought you could use this one and retire your original to a keepsake.”
“But this
book only ever made one print,” Severus raised an eyebrow. “So this is… a
perfect original edition?” He held it up and ran his eyes over it greedily. “From 1911?”
Ron nodded.
“How did
you…?”
“Don’t ask
me.”
“How
much…?”
“Don’t ask
me that either.”
“I can’t
believe it,” he couldn’t help the smile which took over his face. “I actually
can’t believe this, Ron.”
“I’m glad
you like it.”
“I’m
stunned.”
“Good.”
He flipped
open the front cover and his heart skipped a beat when he saw the old print, in
perfect condition. Ron was still looking at him, smiling with relief. “I
thought you might not want your old one replaced,” he explained. “I know it’s
important to you.”
“Without it
I would never have ended up being so good at Potions,” Severus laughed,
carefully turning a page. “I… this is really great, Ron. Thank you so much.”
“No
problem,” Ron grinned, turning his attention back to the chess set in awe.
“There… you
should look in the cupboard under the stairs,” Severus said, trying to keep his
face straight. “I think I’ve left another one of your presents under there by
accident.”
“It’s not
Harry going to jump out of a big present box, is it?” Ron hooked up an eyebrow
and got to his feet, walking to the living room door.
“Sure, just what I’d give you for Christmas,” Severus looked back at his book. “A lithe young man jumping out of a present box.”
He heard
Ron laugh as he walked to the door and pulled it open. There was an excited
yelp and Severus felt himself get excited.
“OH MY GOD A PUPPY!” Ron yelled happily and Severus laughed.
He heard
Ron clattering with the cage –something
else for him to be bloody noisy with!- and the puppy yapping at him. Ron barrelled back
into the room, his arms a squirming mess of deep auburn haired puppy. “Seriously, Severus? Please tell me you’re not shitting me
and this a joke or something? Seriously. A puppy?”
“All yours,”
Severus nodded, reaching up to put the book behind him on the armchair and
rescuing the bottle of unicorn tears back into its box.
“Aaaaaah oh Merlin I’ve always wanted a puppy,” Ron grinned,
as the dog licked his face. “Is it magical or is it a muggle dog?”
“Half and
half,” Severus explained. “It’s Tonks parents’ dog’s
puppy, she got… coerced in the park by a dog and… well. You now have a half
magical dog.”
“Is that
why Remus was here last night, he was bringing him?” Ron rubbed the dog’s belly
as it rolled around pointedly on the floor.
“Yes,”
Severus nodded.
“I have to say I’m relieved, I was a bit worried he’d bought the bondage
stuff,” Ron winked. “Oh this is just…”
Internally,
Severus was more thrilled than he thought he would be. The puppy sat up and
barked happily in Ron’s face which he laughed at, reaching out to ruffle his
head.
“Severus, you don’t like animals…” Ron said finally, as the puppy threw itself
into his lap and sat patiently as he stroked it.
“I know,”
Severus shrugged. “But me and that dog, we’re on the same page, don’t you
worry.”
Ron looked
down at the dog as if for confirmation. It sneezed and he laughed.
“He’s
already really well trained,” Severus stretched out his legs in front of him.
“Remus picked him from the litter… you know, werewolf instincts and stuff. He
doesn’t have a name.”
“I’ll have
to pick something as ridiculous as usual to name him,” Ron mused. “None of my
animals ever get named sensibly.”
Severus
grinned.
“Though I’m
sensing this dog feels like a George and I don’t know why.”
“I don’t
think George would take too kindly to that,” Severus raised an eyebrow,
realising he hadn’t yet unwrapped his Weasley Jumper, and pulled it over.
“He wouldn’t care,” Ron smiled. “So how big is he going to get?”
“Well. His
mother is an Irish Red Setter, and as she was magical her genes came through
predominantly over the muggle father. A bit like me really, I suppose.”
Ron looked
at him. “No getting sad today. It’s Christmas.”
“It’s not
Christmas without me getting miserable and hating my father,” Severus winked.
“I think Severus needs a puppy hug,” Ron said in a childish tone, and he
scooped up George and put him in Severus’ lap.
Same as the
night before, the dog licked his face and Ron laughed. “He really does like
you.”
They were
disturbed by a face coming through the fire which coughed, Ron’s head snapped
up and saw it was Fred.
“OH MY GOD IS THAT A PUPPY?!” He cried gleefully. “I will be right there!”
Severus’
eyes swivelled to Ron who was biting back a smile as Fred’s head withdrew from
the fire, then the flames shot green as he stepped onto the grate, wearing his
new Weasley jumper and jeans and some tinsel round his neck. “You got a puppy?”
“Severus
got me a puppy,” Ron nodded, his face breaking into a boasting grin.
“Ron’s wanted a dog all his life,” Fred dropped to his knees, ignoring the mess
on the floor and the fact that both of them were still in nightclothes. George leapt
off Severus’ lap, narrowly missing his balls, and bounded over to inspect his
new playmate.
“Did I hear
the word puppy?” another voice came from the grate.
Five
minutes later Severus found himself in the kitchen making ten cups of tea to
the background noise of most of the Weasley family in his tiny living room
playing with George, whose namesake had been absolutely thrilled, though he had
wondered if Ron was trying to say something about his personality.
“George,
come on, come and find daddy with me,” Ron said, clapping his hands and walking
backwards into the kitchen, slightly crouched with the dog following the sound
of his hands.
“Daddy?”
Severus asked wryly, putting the top back on the milk bottle.
“That’s
what you are, it’s what I am,” Ron raised his eyebrows with a smile teasing his
lips.
“George!”
Ginny called him and the puppy bounded off back into the living room at full
pelt.
“Why do I
get the feeling I am never going to have another moment’s peace again?” Severus
stirred the magically enlarged teapot with a wry grin on his face.
“You bought the puppy,” Ron sidled up behind him and wrapped his arms around
him. “Thank you so much,” he whispered. “I love everything. Most of all I love
you, though.”
“Love you
too,” Severus replied, savouring the warmth of Ron against his back.
“Come on
George, let’s go and find your fathers, come on, there’s a good boy, come on…”
Ron didn’t
release Severus as Harry swung the dog up into his arms and entered the
kitchen. George barked happily at them as he struggled to get to them.
“I want
one,” Harry passed him to Ron, who accepted him and pressed his face into his
fur.
“They still
have some left,” Severus set the teaspoon down. “Remus said Andromeda is being
really fussy about who she lets them go to so they’ve got more than they can
handle at the minute.”
He picked
up the teapot in his right hand without thinking and it gave a dangerous
wobble. He felt a hand grab the handle next to his and expected it to be Ron’s,
but then he remembered he had the dog in his arms. Harry glanced upward. “I’ll
do it,” he said quietly, and Severus stepped back, his weak wrist smarting from
the weight.
I hate accepting help from you,
Harry. “Thanks,”
Severus moved out of his way, rubbing his wrist and chewing the inside of his
bottom lip.
“I’ll talk
to Ginny and see if she would like one,” Harry said thoughtfully, pouring the
tea.
“Why would it matter whether Ginny wants one,” Ron looked up from George. “You
don’t live together.”
“As of this
morning we do,” Harry grinned with a sideways glance at Ron.
Severus
found George in his arms faster than lightening and Ron had thrown his arms around
Harry in an uncharacteristic show of emotion between them, again. His jealousy
levels went through the roof as Harry turned into the hug and they swayed a
little bit.
George fell
still in his arms, sensing his tension and he looked up at him with big puppy
eyes, and licked his face, as if to remind him how stupid he was being. Severus
knew there was absolutely no chance of Harry stealing Ron from him, considering
how he’d had plenty of time to do it in seven years and made no move. But
still, he didn’t like seeing Ron hugging other men. He fought down his comment
and occupied himself by working out a tangle in George’s soft ear until they’d
broken apart.
“Ginny!” Ron bellowed immediately, and fled into the
living room, where they heard him wind her up pretending his disapproval.
“Some
things never change,” Harry laughed, picking up the teaspoon to stir each
individual cup.
“Congratulations,” Severus offered, walking over and looking at him.
“Thank you,” Harry said reservedly.
Silence
fell between them and Harry bit his lip.
“I don’t
think standing in my kitchen with you is ever going to get any easier than
this,” Severus said quietly, knowing exactly what was on Harry’s mind, and he
laughed slightly.
“No, I
don’t either.”
“Let’s not
make a habit of it, then,” Severus winked. “I think we both get along much
better when we’re not in the same room.”
“As ever,”
Harry agreed. “But, seriously. You think he doesn’t know the look on your face
when I hug him?”
Severus
shot him a filthy look.
“He does.
Stop it. It’ll only cause a fight.”
“Don’t tell
me what’ll cause a fight with my own husband,” Severus raised an eyebrow. “I’m
not a complete imbecile.”
Harry
looked like he’d like to say something to the contrary, but for the sake of
good relations bit it down. He smiled and picked up some mugs, and walked into
the living room.
Scowling,
Severus looked down at George. “Can I convince you to bite him?” he whispered
at his ear level. George sneezed, which made him shake his head.
“Some bloody guard dog you’re going to be,” Severus rolled his eyes.
***
“And make
sure you reheat it properly,” Molly scolded gently before turning and leaving
through the fireplace, the last of the Weasleys to
depart their tiny house after five hours.
“I’m
sorry,” Ron said immediately, “I was trying to get rid of them.”
“Its fine,”
Severus laughed. “Contrary to popular belief I do enjoy your family’s company.
Especially Charlie, and George, they’re both really good to talk to.”
Ron tugged
the lasagne his mother had pressed on them out of Severus’ hands. “Hungry? I
am. I’ll heat this up now?”
Severus
nodded and looked to where George was curled up on the sofa, snoring lightly.
“I think they tired him out.”
“It was
good for him to meet the immediate family,” Ron laughed, walking into the kitchen
and lighting the oven. “He’s a great dog though, really clever.”
“Does
balancing biscuits on his nose whilst on his hind legs count as clever?”
“He’s eight
weeks old, that’s fucking amazing!” Ron laughed again.
He bunged
the lasagne in the oven and left it to warm through, sitting at the kitchen
table. It was still raining heavily outside, and even though it was only three
in the afternoon they had all of the house lights on to just be
able to see. “Miserable weather for Christmas, not even any snow,” Ron
muttered.
“You’re not
in Scotland
now,” Severus reminded him. “I swear they only put the school there for
snowball fights. I hate snow.”
“Yet
another reason why it’s good for you to be out of that place,” Ron turned to
him and smiled.
***
Stuffed from
their very un-traditional Christmas dinner, Severus lay with his head on Ron’s
lap looking out of the window at the darkening rainy sky. Ron was lazily
stroking through the raven hair in a very parental gesture. It didn’t matter
because his parents had never done it, so Severus didn’t feel anything attached
to the sentiment.
“If you
could have changed anything this year, would you have?” Ron asked him quietly.
“I would
have blocked the Floo on the day that I left,” Severus replied automatically,
without a hint of hesitation. “If you couldn’t have got back in, you’d never
have been injured.”
Ron made a
sound of agreement and fell silent, still stroking his hair.
“Would
you?” Severus asked, almost afraid of the answer. Through lunch a melancholy
mood seemed to have settled around Ron.
He inhaled.
“I would have started having those dreams a lot earlier,” he finally replied
and Severus was relieved. Thought you
might have regretted ever having them. “But nothing
else.”
“You wouldn’t not have travelled here in the Floo that day? Or have just gone straight to the
fight?” Severus asked, a little awed that Ron wouldn’t change the bad things
which had happened to him.
“No,” he murmured softly. “It was all meant to happen.”
He bent
down, ignoring the ache in his ribs, and kissed Severus on the head.
“You’re not
going to turn all ‘fate and destiny’ on me, are you?” Severus made a face. “I
can stomach a lot but not fate and destiny.”
“You didn’t
disagree with me when I said we were bonded before we knew it,” Ron frowned.
“That’s kind of fate and destiny.”
“Its not,”
Severus sat up and turned to him. “It’s different. Anyway.
Let’s not get into this. George is asleep in his cupboard… removing the door
was a brilliant idea. Now he can come and go as he pleases and he’s never shut
away, and he’s got somewhere that’s private to sleep…”
“Mmm,” Ron smiled, the thought of the beautiful dog bringing
a smile to his face.
“Anyway… my
point was, George is asleep. Why don’t we go upstairs
and celebrate our first Christmas in… bed?” Severus kissed him suggestively.
“I thought
you’d never ask,” Ron leapt to his feet and pulled Severus into the hallway
with him where they both tiptoed past the comatose dog and ran up the stairs
like a pair of, for want of a better word, horny teenagers. Ron shut the door
behind them and Severus looked at him questioningly.
“I love the
puppy, Severus, but I don’t want to scar the poor thing at eight weeks.” Ron
grinned, stripping off his pyjamas with haste and throwing himself on the bed
and pulling Severus down on top of him.
They rutted
against each other for a few moments, exchanging an urgent, heated kiss,
growing erections pressed together. Ron was the one to break it as he tugged
Severus’ top off over his head and threw it on the floor then reached down to
shove off the bottom half, which Severus helped by kicking them backwards.
Naked, everything felt ten times better. He pressed against Ron again and
ducked his head to suck on the tender flesh of his neck.
“I can
remember being convinced you were a vampire,” Ron breathed. “When I was eleven,
I so thought you could turn into a
bat and fly...”
Severus
laughed, his breath making Ron’s skin tingle. “And if I was…” he put his lips
to Ron’s neck and bit down on the already sore skin. “Would you let me change
you?”
Ron pressed
his erection into Severus’ and hissed in his ear, “Immortality with you? I’d
jump at the chance.”
Ignoring
the implications of death, Severus pulled away from his neck and kissed up it
to Ron’s jaw, then to his mouth, where he kissed again. He was beginning to
feel dizzy already, which told him that whenever and however their sex session
ended, it would be explosive.
“What do
you want?” Ron asked him, using all of his strength to roll Severus’ onto his
back and to position his body above him.
His dark
eyes looked up at the blue and Ron smiled tentatively, waiting for an answer
which Severus didn’t know how to convey. Wordlessly he summoned the spanking
paddle from the chair where it lay, obscured by the night before’s
clothes, and landed purposefully on the bed next to them. Ron raised an
eyebrow.
“Are you
ever going to be comfortable asking me for this stuff?” he smiled ruefully,
reaching out a hand to pick it up.
Severus
simply shook his head, voice constricted in his throat. Ron sat up on him and
he gasped at the pressure as he rocked back over his crotch feeling the paddle
in his hands.
“Well until
you can ask me for it, you don’t get it,” Ron shrugged, raising his eyebrows in
ultimatum.
Severus
closed his eyes as he felt the flush creep over his face. “Please.”
“Please
what?”
“Please use
it.”
“Not good
enough.”
“Please
spank me,” Severus muttered finally, keeping his eyes firmly shut, as though
that made it any less of a request or any less mortifying.
He was
relieved to feel Ron getting off him. “You’re really no good at being a bottom,
are you?” Ron asked gently, pulling him up to a sitting position and kissing
his cheek.
“Never have
been,” Severus still didn’t open his eyes.
“Remus
didn’t seem to think that was the case,” Ron said, and just as Severus went to
open his eyes, he found himself blindfolded by something that felt like silk,
and his hands were behind him, and he was on his knees.
“What have you been asking Remus?” he said worriedly.
“Nothing
much,” Ron breathed, coming up behind him, embracing him tightly. “I just had a
few questions I needed answering.” He ran his hand down to hold it possessively
against Severus’ stomach.
“Like? You should have asked me if you wanted to
know something.”
“I wanted
to know what kind of lover you were to him.”
Severus was
angry, Ron knew, he’d expected it. But he had him in a position where he
couldn’t do anything physical about his anger, so Ron felt able to talk about
it.
“I wanted
to know if you ever gave yourself up entirely to him, if you ever really lost
control.”
“When did
you ask this?”
“A few
weeks ago, I went to see him.”
“Behind my back?”
“Don’t be
angry…” Ron pleaded, and kissed his scarred shoulder. “I was just trying to
learn more about you. I know you’ve talked to my brothers about me, learned
more about my past that way… but you don’t have any family and I know that
Remus was important to you.”
Severus
didn’t reply which Ron took as a bitter acceptance of the explanation. He
pushed his hand down and stroked lovingly across Severus’ groin.
“You have
to learn to be open with me,” Ron whispered in his ear. “We’ve done stuff
before… and you’ve submitted, but you can’t even ask me to give you a few
whacks with a spanking paddle. What if it ever came to more than that? If you were injured, and you couldn’t ask me for help because you
were ashamed? If this past year has taught me anything, Severus… it’s
that I have given myself fully to you. All I’m asking is for the same in return
from you.”
He kissed
at the nape of the neck in front of him, beneath the dark hair.
“I don’t
know what more I can give you.” Severus finally spoke.
“Yes you
do,” Ron replied, gripping his growing erection. “Just be yourself… just say
what you want to say, do what you want to do. Ask me to do anything. Stop being
so introverted.”
Severus
knew he had a point. He had been holding back. He was holding back on his
temper, his sarcastic comments, his sexual requests… but he had been doing it
all to keep Ron from what he saw as the worst points of his personality. “I’ve
only been doing it to protect you,” he pressed his hips forward into Ron’s
touch.
“Stop
protecting me,” Ron commanded. “I’m not a doll, I’m
not going to break. I can shout back, you know full well I can shout back. But
you’ve been treating me like I’ve been made of porcelain since I came home and
I can’t do it any more. Stop it. Be yourself.”
Heaving a
sigh, Severus nodded gently. “Fine. I won’t hold
back.”
“No more
biting your tongue,” Ron kissed in the centre of his shoulder blades.
“Okay.”
“No more
holding back on the sarcastic comments,” Ron grabbed him by the arse cheek.
“I
promise.”
“And no
more fucking throwing murderous looks when I have the audacity to hug a
friend,” Ron tightened his grip on his cock, which made him gasp.
“R-right.”
“Now what
the fuck do you want me to do to you?” Ron hissed in his ear.
“I want you
to strike me with the paddle,” Severus squeezed his eyes shut under the
blindfold as Ron pushed him forward, and seconds later felt the slap on his
backside as Ron complied, and again in quick succession.
“I want you
to finger me,” Severus managed to get out, his face aflame, and he suddenly
heard a massive beeping around the bed.
“What the fuck is that?” Ron asked in alarm.
Cringing,
Severus screwed his face up, knowing he’d been betrayed by his own
super-sensory charms, which had picked up on his own heartbeat rather than
Ron’s. When he opened his mouth he found his voice thick with shame. “They’re
super-sensory charms… I put them on the bed after you came home from the hospital,
to alert me if anything I was doing was scaring you, after what happened…
they’ve just reacted to me, instead of you.”
“You’re
scared?” Ron ran a hand up his back.
“Only
because this is so fucking new for me,” Severus whispered, feeling ridiculously
exposed.
He heard
Ron hum, contemplating his next move. “The only way of curing a fear is to
experience it,” he said softly, closer to Severus’ face than Severus first
realised. “But I know that’s easier said than done.”
He moved
back to his original position and lightly traced down the crevice between the
cheeks, finding the entrance and pressing on it gently, before entering and
extracting a hiss from Severus’ lips. It had been a while since the space had
been invaded.
Whilst
doing so, Ron sat on his heels and managed to lubricate himself with his wand.
He withdrew his one finger and gently guided Severus backwards, positioning him
in the right place to impale himself. Groaning, Severus did so, tipping his
head back so his hair fell in a black curtain over Ron’s face. He inhaled the
scent and let out a groan, gripping Severus’ chest with ardour. For the sake of
kindness, he let the blindfold stay put, knowing it
wasn’t easy for his lover to handle it, and Ron slid his hand downwards to wrap
his fingers around his erection again.
“Tell me
you love me,” Severus asked, unable to move.
“I… love…
you…” Ron punctuated the words with upward thrusts of his hips and thighs.
“Tell me
again,” he begged, all abandon leaving him.
“I love
you,” Ron repeated, beginning to stroke.
“Tell me
you don’t care that I’m messed up,” Severus begged again.
“I don’t care that you’re messed up,” Ron began to thrust faster, finding
himself on a quickly moving spiral through his bodily reactions, realising he
actually liked being begged like that.
“Tell me
you don’t care that I’m unable to function like a normal human being.”
“I don’t
care,” Ron grunted, almost wanting to roll his eyes at Severus’ ability to use
big words whilst he was being banged.
“Tell me
you don’t care that I don’t know how to look after myself…” his voice trailed
into silence.
“I’ll tell
you that I know how to look after you,” Ron panted, and with a last push, he
tensed and bit down on Severus’ shoulder as he came powerfully, crushing the
erection he held in his hand painfully, unable to stop his body stealing focus
for the moment.
“Fuck,”
Severus muttered, and Ron felt the unmistakable warmth flow over his fingers
and he stilled his hand instantly, leaving them motionless, both on their
knees, panting, entwined, messy and with Ron still inside.
Severus
blinked through the dizziness. “Get this off me,” he begged, shaking his head,
and in seconds it was gone, though Ron was still behind him, clinging to him
with firm arms.
“Do you
want me to let you go?” Ron asked quietly, kissing his neck.
“No, I
don’t,” Severus answered in a voice firmer than he thought he could achieve.
“I won’t, then,” Ron smiled, feeling more confident. “Merry
Christmas.”
“Merry Christmas to you too.”

“I don't know if you can see ,
The changes that have come over me.
In these last few days I've been afraid
That I might drift away.
So I've been telling old stories, singing songs
That make me think about where I came from.
And that's the reason why I seem
So far away today…
Oh, but let me tell you that I love you
That I think about you all the time…” ‘Caledonia’.
