Severus sighed as he rolled the dice once again. The game they where playing was bought for Lily the Christmas after she had received her Hogwarts letter from her mother who had thought it a clever joke. The game was fun ... when they where kids. As it was they where both now fourteen and going into their fourth year.

She nodded her head "alright" she began to put the game away "Do you want to go up to my room? We can study early if you want, or we can practice charms that we are allowed to do out of Hogwarts" she suggested, her cheeks growing a little rosy
"The only charms we can do outside class are too easy. We can study though if you'd like." He said putting his pieces inside the box and helping her clean up the board.

Lily turned her attention to him and smiled "Lets go upstairs then" She whispered blushing. She sighed and rubbed her temples "We might be snowed in by tonight. Alone. If the weather won't stop" she chuckled.
Severus smirked a bit. "I hope your parents can get home alright." He said as they moved towards the stairs. He wished the snow would stop, he didn't mind sleeping outside while there was snow on the ground already. That he could clear away. It was when it was falling he had an issue. Then again he had the option of going home. But that didn't seem to promising either. Severus picked up his book back, that was laying at the bottom of the stairs, and made his way up. He could hear the stairs creaking behind him indicating that Lily was following.
Lily walked with him and smiled softly "you are more than welcome to stay here tonight Severus." she whispered. Her nose was slightly cold as she entered her slightly cold room. She walked over, turning on the heater in her room and crawled up onto her bed. She patted the seat next to him and opened the books that were laying on her bed already, half read.
Severus sat down on the bed and pulled open his book. It wasn't uncommon for them to study on her bed, they've been doing it since they started at Hogwarts. "Do you want to quiz each other? Or do homework?" He asked. "We still have that assignment for history on our favourite historical witch or wizard."
Lily nodded her head "We can go ahead and start the assignment then" she whispered, trembling a little. The one thing Lily hated about herself was the fact that she got cold easily. "S....Severus....?" She whispered with a slight shiver "C....could you hold me and help me warm u...up?"
