Hello. :)
That's my first Harry Potter Fanfiction.. :) First of all, I have to say sorry because I'm not English, actually. :/ I'm studying in England since 4 month, so I thought I couldn't be wrong to start writing my Fanfictions in English. :'D I haven't found a Beta, yet but I'll keep my eyes out. ;) So, sorry for all the mistakes and I hope you enjoy it anyway. :)

„I'm sure, the Sorting Hat is going to place you in Slytherin. You're definitely not cool enough to become a Gryffindor.” said James Sirius Potter sneeringly, pushed his elbow into his, by now irritated brother's – that's me – side and started to grin, before I was able to hiss again.
I already had to listen to this sentence in slightly different forms the whole train ride and now, when both of us wanted to leave the Hogwarts Express, he still didn't want to leave me alone. He was most irritating, today; I promise.
Of course he didn't want to let me alone, he intended to make me more nervous as I already was, before the Sorting Hat would come to this point where my whole future was in its hands. That couldn't be favourable, he didn't even have hands.
“I could ask the stupid hat for placing me in Gryffindor and he would think about my request. Dad told me that.” I uttered defiantly and crossed my arms as I followed a half-giant who continued shouting: “First-formers this way! First-formers this direction!”
“You would spoil our enjoyment, wouldn't you Al? Wait.. It could be that you're just a.. coward! Yes, you're too gutless to let the Sorting Hat doing its work!” I could hear James words but I pretended not to do. The thing was, he stroke my sore spot and he got what he wanted; I wouldn't ask the extraordinary Hat for a wish. I wasn't a coward, I just wanted to be in the same house as my brother.
I riveted on a tall, blonde boy who was walking along the track with another boy and a girl. They were positioned on the left and on the right of him and they had a brownish skin colour but you could also see that one of their parents must have been a Caucasian. However, the colour of their skin was incredible beautiful but they still weren't more interesting than the blonde handsomeness who stood in the middle of those two.
Actually, I didn't know why I gave the unknown boy this much of my attention but I remembered that I'd seen him a few hours ago on the King's Cross station; my uncle and his wife had been talking to their daughter, Rose, that she should better be more successful as him.
I knew his begetter from short stories my father had told me, but he'd kept his mouth shut after he confessed that he couldn't really like Draco Malfoy especially because he had kept trying to gave him a rough time and that he was so spoiled of his aristocracy that he became the most arrogant boy he had ever seen.
“Heya, Alsen!” said a familiar voice behind my back as a pair of twins surprised me suddenly.
“Lorcan, Lysander.”
I didn't know them very well but their mother was a good friend of my fathers' and I'd met them at birthday parties before or when my Dad had decided to invite the Scamanders to our house.
Luna Scamander – her maiden name was Lovegood – seemed extremely mad but she was also quite nice, to be honest. Nevertheless, her sons were incredibly spoilt and so evil that I couldn't want to get to know them better.
As far back as my childhood – when I was younger than I was at the moment – both of them had stolen my toys, had broken them and had tried to push me down my bunk bed but my wizard blood had always saved me from an uncomfortable landing on the floor. Fortunately.
Most likely, I would have broken similar bones – even my neck, probably - if I had been born as a Squib.
“Do you already know in which house you will be probably placed?” asked Lorcan as he pulled me closer to his body. “Well, I don't want to get placed in Ravenclaw! I think, Slytherin would be most interesting, don't you think? I'm sure, Lorcan and I would be really happy there.” continued the younger twin, Lysander. They gazed at me really obviously, so that I couldn't wriggle out of a reaction.
I sighed slightly, decided to answer them quickly that they might leave me alone then, “I don't know, to be honest. I hope that I won't be a Slytherin.. I may not be as brave as my Dad was and still is but I'm also not.. evil..”
“Look at him! The way you're talking, I suppose you're going to be a Hufflepuff!” They were laughing and ran away as they couldn't stop themselves from saying “By Merlin! That would be so awkward!”
Hufflepuff? I hadn't even thought about it but really, it couldn't be worse than being placed in the house in which had been my Dad's arch enemy and the dark Lord in person. Everyone knew Lord Voldemort and even though he didn't exist anymore, it was still a scandal to talk about him or even mentioning his name. There was still this kind of fear in the air but my Dad had brought me up not to fear him. When I was younger and I had been afraid of saying his name, my Dad had recognized my halt and had told me: “Albus Severus Potter, one of your namesakes told me once 'Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself.' and I tell you what.. He was right. However, Voldemort is dead, there is no longer a reason to be scared of him.”
-
As we entered the school building, the half-giant led us to a huge staircase. Above a few steps, a Indian woman was awaiting us.
My father had told me of her; her name was Parvati Patil and she was in spite of her young age the vicarious headmistress of Hogwarts.
Our real headmistress, Minerva McGonagall had been in this position when my father had been visiting Hogwarts. – actually, she wanted to give er post away but she decided not to do because of whatever reason. In addition to that, she had been the head of the Gryffindor house and now, it was Professor Patil.
I didn't want to get placed in Slytherin, I wanted to make my Dad proud of me.
My father had been so happy when my brother had been placed in Gryffindor, I didn't want to be the one who destroyed that.
I wanted my Dad do open my letter gladly and read it out loud to my mother who would stroke her tears of pride away.
I wanted that Lily could see their happiness, the same way I could see it when we'd got James' letter.
Professr Patil explained the whole procedure of today's evening, her voice was lovingly, she told us not to be scared and that every house would bring us a wonderful time at Hogwarts, that we shouldn't be afraid of the decision the Sorting Hat would make.
But that was easier said than done.
As we started moving, the Malfoy-son coolly and smoothly as he wouldn't be nervous and as he would already know in which house he would get placed; and his friends who went through the middle way of the great hall as conscious as the blonde one was and Lorcan and Lysander who were laughing and making fun of other students.
And then there was me. Me who glanced around nervously and who was searching for the gaze of his brother's eyes with the hope that he would comfort myself but when I found them, he pointed his wand in the air and made a smooth move with his wrist to let a snake appear in the air.
I growled slightly, tried to look at the headmistress who was sitting in the middle of a huge table and was smiling at me.
It wasn't really hard to realize that I was the son of Harry Potter, even if you didn't know me. I had the same messy hair and the same emerald green eyes and I was as thin as he was when he had been at Hogwarts for the first time.
On one side, I was really proud to look so much like him on the other side I wouldn't be crossed if I was a bit more unknown. I mean, I wasn't my Dad, was I? And so weren't my brother and my sister. But his glory rubbed off on us and we hadn't done anything valiant.
It was quite the opposite, actually. I was standing in front of the stool with the Sorting Hat on it and I felt shorter than ever before – and believe me, I'm not really tall at all.
“Blair Zabini, please.” said Professer Patil as she lift the Hat on her hands and was waiting until the girl, who was by the way the one on Malfoys side, sat on the stool.
As the hat touched her head faintly, I heard him shouting: “SLYTHERIN” and her brother, Blake, was placed in the same house.
I watched the procedure of some other students and I winced intensely as I heard my name. I wasn't sure but I thought to hear James whistling and as I looked at him, he gave me a faint smile.
I sighed with relief and sat on the stool.
Everyone was starring at me, I could hear the student's whisper when I could feel the hat's weight on my head, I could also hear him talking: “A second Potter. Mhm.. You are more interesting than your brother but I can't tell you for sure which house would be the best. I remember this situation with your father, little one. James is a Gryffindor all through but you... It's really difficult. But sschht! I don't want to hear a request this time.. I'm sure you are a...”
I closed my eyes, had to pull myself up so that my heart couldn't leave my chest but the next words I could hear made my emotion even worse.
“SLYTHERIN:”
Apparently, it wasn't just me.
The students were confused, no one could believe the words of the hat, even the teacher weren't sure. No one saw that coming. And James, I thought he would laugh at me now, but he looked.. disappointed.
I raised from the school unwilling, left the Sorting Hat in Professor Patil's hands and ignored the grinning of the Malfoy as I went to the Slytherin table.
There, were I had to spend the rest of my school meals on it.
Rose, my cousin became a Gryffindor and I couldn't deny it. I was jealous. Scorpius Hyperion, the son of the Malfoys, became a Slytherin and that got my attention again. I wasn't sure what I felt or if I was able feel anything at the moment. He sat down next to me on the table, was grinning again and said: “A Potter in Slytherin. That could be interesting.”

You can actually find the original one on Fanfiktion.de in German (if there's anyone who speaks German. ;) ). It has the same title and my Nickname is the same as well. :)
I did the same thing with the original one, so I think it's just fair to do it here as well: The pairings I really want to have in this story are Scorpius/Albus, Lorcan/Lysander and Scorpius/Lorcan/Albus but if there's ANY pairing you would like to have in this story, tell me and I will start a Pairing-Vote. ;)
Thanks. :)
