Hey! Hope everyone is doing well. Just a quick bit of self promotion before getting to the story. Make sure to check out my last story "Theo Nott--Busybody". It was just a bit of a plot my muse wouldn't let go of until I wrote it. Thanks! And now onto the story at hand! And please, remember to review!

Chapter One
Harry and the others hung back from Hermione as she rang the bell. Neville was nervously stepping from foot to foot, even as Lavender and Parvati were whispering that this was the smart girl’s idea of a joke.
Ginny nudged Harry and asked, “What is she thinking? Taking us to Malfoy Manor for a game of truth or dare? Is she mad?”
The wild haired wizard only shrugged. “You were the one to push her into getting us what you wanted.”
“I just wanted a fun time, not start a war!” she muttered just as the door opened.
A little house elf dressed in a rose tea towel opened the door. Once the little creature saw Hermione, she beamed, “Miss Hermione! We’s not expecting you!”
“Hello, Rose. Can you please fetch both Lord Malfoys? It would appear my friends…” She motioned to the small crowd behind her. “Would like to play a game of truth or dare.” Hermione turned to look at them and said, “And if we’re going to do it, we’re going to do so properly.”
“Yes, Miss! Comes in! Please! Comes in everyone!” Rose motioned for the others to follow Hermione into the manor.
Draco was the first one to meet up with the group that was now in what once was Narcissa Malfoy’s pride and joy, the large sitting room. Since the end of the war and her leaving Lucius for France’s greener pastures and richer men, it had seen little use. Despite this it was kept in constant readiness. The younger Malfoy went straight over to Hermione.
“What’s this? Granger…”
“They wanted to play truth or dare. So let’s give them a right proper game, shall we?”
Rocking back on his feet, he looked at everyone there. “Most of the people here seem very skittish.”
“Waivers?” she asked.
He turned to look at the group and said, “To play this game you’ll be required to sign waivers.”
“I’m out of here!” Neville declared and rushed out.
“You’re crazy!” Lavender snapped as she rushed out right behind Neville along with Parvati.
“Who do we need now?” Hermione asked.
“My uncle of course,” Draco said with a grin.
Hermione’s face flushed at the mentioning of Severus Snape. She cleared her throat and asked, “Perhaps the Weasley Twins?”
“No.” This came not from Draco, but from Lucius. “I refuse to have those two involved in this game.” He nodded to both Ginny and Harry in greeting. “Where is Ronald Weasley?”
“Auror training,” Hermione said. “How about Sirius and Remus?”
“Why don’t you ask for a jab with a sharp stick while you’re at it?” Draco asked drolly. “I know you hate playing with them.”
“Yes, but seeing as his godson and fiancé are here playing for the first time, they might feel more comfortable with them here.”
“You know they’re going to…”
“Yes,” she interrupted Draco. “I know.”
Lucius just sighed, shaking his head.
“Wait, you mean you’ve played truth or dare with…” Harry started only to be cut off by Severus Snape stomping into the room.
“Why?!” he exclaimed. “Of all the times in the world, why would you choose now to play that blasted game?”
Hermione walked over and stood in front of him until he was just staring at her. She smiled and murmured, “I missed you too.”
This only had him rolling his eyes as he went for a fire whiskey. Lucius went over to Hermione, murmuring, “Are you certain you’d want to invite…”
“I don’t, but they wouldn’t be here for me, but Harry and Ginny. Friendly faces and all, you understand.” He nodded. “If you don’t wish them to be here, it’s understandable and more than within your power not to invite them. This is your house after all.”
He nodded, looking over to Harry and Ginny—both of whom looked like they were about to be tortured. “I best invite them as well as some of her family. To keep the mood light, you understand.”
“Of course,” she murmured, going over to the bar and received a drink from Snape. “Did you bring it?”
“You know I did, witch.” He paused in the middle of taking a sip to ask, “And you, are you prepared to be dared?”
Pink flushed into her cheeks as she murmured, “By you? Any day of the week.”
“Even in front of the boy wonder?” he drawled. “And your other friends that are bound to be here?”
She stepped up to him, grinning as she inquired, “Are you saying we’re playing it that way?”
“Which way would that be?” Harry asked, but was ignored by both of them.
“Perhaps,” he murmured, setting aside his drink. “And perhaps we will skip over the preliminaries and go straight for…”
“We’re here!” Fred exclaimed.
“Let the games begin!” George said, looking straight over to Hermione and Snape. “Merlin, they started that already?” He looked to his twin. “I told you we should have brought dates.”
“Started what?” Ginny asked, as she was starting to sound annoyed.
“And what do you mean you should have brought dates?” Harry inquired, torn between wanting to know what they meant by ‘dates’ and wondering when Hermione and Snape had ever been involved with each other.
“You better make up your mind, Mr. Snape. Everyone will be here soon and I’d hate for you to…”
His hand snapped out and caught Hermione by her neck, pulling her closer to himself. “If you think…”
“They’re at it already?” Sirius asked as he entered the room with Remus following slowly behind him, shaking his head.
“Sirius, what is going on here?” Harry asked his godfather.
“Harry?” He blinked at the wild haired young man. “Ginny?”
“ ‘Oh I can play with Harry and Ginny in the room!’” came from Fred.
“ ‘I can treat them just like I would anyone else’” continued George.
Sirius blushed as Hermione said, “Yes, let’s see if you can treat Ginny as you did me the last time we played. I can see that going over like a lead weight, can’t you, Mr. Snape?”
“Yes, in deed,” he drawled. “I’d like to see that mutt try.”
“Shut it!” Sirius snapped. “Do you want me to apologize, is that it?”
“How about you act like a gentleman…” Lucius barely was able to speak those words. “And we’ll leave it at that, shall we?”
“Whatever,” he muttered, watching Hermione as she leaned back on Severus’s chest. “Should have known.”
“Will someone please tell us what is going on?!” Harry demanded.
Hermione whispered something to Severus, who released her. She went over to Ginny and pulled her to the other room.

Hermione sat Ginny down and sat across from her, trying as she might to think of how to explain at least part of what was going on. Why did she want Harry and Ginny there at all? It wasn’t as if they had a clue just how to play or that she had been doing so for the last year.
Taking a deep breath she said, “Ginny, the game here it’s going to be…intense, for the lack of a better word.”
“Why is that?” she asked, watching Hermione as she sat up all the more.
“This isn’t a childish game of truth or dare,” she informed her friend. “You, along with Harry, will have to sign the waivers just as Draco mentioned. You won’t be able to speak of the games outside of the group playing and…” She cleared her throat. “The players, especially Sirius, don’t play well with others.”
“Then why bring us here?” Ginny asked angrily.
“Because truth or dare in the wizarding world isn’t a game! And it’s about damn time you learned that,” Hermione snapped, getting to her feet. “I’m tired of your ideas of this being a…a novelty that people can play as a ruse! You keep pressing the boundaries further and further—for what? Because you’re bored and need something to do, Gin? It doesn’t work that way.”
Luna Lovegood strolled into the room with the same casual air she always had and asked, “So do you think Sirius will be his usual self with Harry here?”
“I haven’t a clue,” Hermione said, trying to calm herself. “Depends on how drunk he is now, I suppose.”
Luna nodded, looking over to the youngest Weasley. “Hello, Ginny. Is this your first time at one of the games? Have you signed the contract yet?”
“No,” she murmured, starting to look a little scared. “I’m beginning to think Harry and I should leave…”
Hermione snorted. “By now they have him half tanked and the contract is already signed.”
“Very true,” Luna murmured. “The men don’t tend to read the fine print, do they?”
“Rarely,” Hermione whispered. “That’s why you have to be the one to read it and set up the rules—least you end up in a situation you don’t want or can’t stand.”
Ginny’s eyes went wide as she asked, “What are they going to have us doing?”
“Perhaps the best question would be,” Hermione said as she slid next to Luna, pressing up close to her as she inquired, “Just what won’t you do?”
Ginny was looking like she was going to have a heart attack when Luna laughed and pushed Hermione a way from her saying, “Don’t scare her!”
Hermione fell back laughing. “Sorry, Gin, but you’ll never know what they’ll ask you to do on a dare.”
Luna nodded, adding, “And if you have a secret, it more than likely won’t be one after tonight.”
“Why haven’t I heard about any of this before?” Ginny demanded to which Hermione only shrugged.
“Chances are that your family was trying to keep you from playing,” Luna said casually as she stood up, straightening her robes.
Hermione looked over to the doorway to see Severus slipping into the room. He held the contract in his hand and a pen.
“He signed?” Luna asked.
“With high praise and encouragement from his godfather,” he murmured. “You best place any and all limitations on the contract you wish for before signing it, Miss Weasley.” Turning to Luna, he added, “You best help her with that, Miss Lovegood.”
Handing it over to Miss Weasley, he went over to Hermione and helped her to her feet. “You are mine for this night, Miss Granger.”
Smiling coyly she asked, “I can’t even have Lucius rub my feet? You know how much that disgusts him.”
This had the wizard in front of her smiling and saying, “We’ll see.”
