Isn’t life the strangest thing? You can be sure one thing will never happen, but then it does. You can be sure you’ll never love him, but then you look at him one day, and you realize that it’s always been him.
It all started on one winter night in my 6th year. It was almost Yule, my favorite holiday. I was trudging through a blizzard on my way back to the castle. The snow swirled around me and the wind stung my frozen cheeks. I had gone down to Hogsmede. I had to get away from it all. I had to get away from the insufferable hordes of teenagers that crowded the halls. I hate them so much. Especially the people in my year. They’re always in heat.
My roommate, Lila, has been out most nights and returns in various shades of disarray. She constantly has hickies on her neck.
I seem to be the only one with a shred of logic left. I have only slept with one man. In fact, I know I never will sleep with another. I remembered the first time we had sex. It was 2 years ago, when I was fourteen.
*flashback*
We had been secretly dating for about 6 months now. No one knew, so we met in secret. We had been slowly building up to this moment; the moment where we would finally become one.
My heart pounded in my chest as he took me in his arms. His lips pressed against mine. He slid his tongue into my eager mouth. Our tongues dueled aggressively. I let out a small moan. I felt his hand slowly pull up the back of my shirt to stroke my heated skin.
I needed him. Now.
I pulled away and removed my clothes, fumbling with the buttons on my shirt. He watched me, drinking in every centimeter of my body.
I slowly walked over to him, hips swaying tantalizingly. He ripped off his clothes and we stood there, naked in the dark. He laid me down on the floor and our eyes met; blue to gray.
He kissed me gently and positioned himself at my virgin entrance. He slowly, gently pushed in. The pain was unexpected and blinding. I almost wanted to stop. To push him away, but then a wave of love swept through me. I felt him begin to thrust into me, gentle at first, but he soon gained confidence and began to pound into me with such force, I thought he would rip right through me. I gripped his muscular back, moaning loudly. I could feel my orgasm coming as my tight sheath milked at his erection. I threw me head back and screamed his name: “Draco!”
*end of flashback*
I can still remember what it felt like to make love for the first time. The feeling cannot be found in any other way.
I sometimes used to stroke myself at night, my fingers sliding in and out of my soaking clit, but it wasn’t the same.
Suddenly, my foot slipped on a patch of ice and I tumbled head-first into a snow drift. I gasped, but then began to laugh at my clumsiness.
I tried to get up, but found out I couldn’t.
I saw a shadowy figure approaching me on the road and I cried out to them. The figure ran to me, but slipped on the same ice I did. The person fell on top of me. “OW!” I gasped, struggling under their weight.
“Gin? Ginerva? Is that you?”
