The End Is The Beginning Is The End
When I was a little girl, I remember seeing the ruins of an ancient city beneath the sea. There were only pillars and statues. And I remember thinking to myself how very sad it all was, that this great world and its people were gone.
No memories or even a single scrap of paper left—just gone.
It made me wonder:
What happened to them?
Were they sad, when their city crumbled?
Did they know that their world was ending?
I thought these were questions I would never know the answer to.
I was wrong.
