Harry slowly read the paper in his hands again, and then re-read it for the sixth time. Setting the page down he sighed softly as he ran a hand through his hair. How had it come to this? They were school sweethearts, he had done everything she wanted, built her a modest home, let her spend money on expensive clothes and perfumes. He gave her three beautiful children, she didn’t have to work, he gave her everything he had and more. The fights were getting worse, she was seeing another man, probably had been for the entire time, everything that he had worked so hard for was gone, and she wanted everything! She wanted everything that he had, everything in the vaults, the home and all the years he gave her, everything but three little things that were more precious to him than his own life. Standing he picked up the paper and moved to the Floo, he had to talk to someone and he had to figure out what it was that he was going to do. Stepping through the Floo he glanced around the cabin hoping that the pair he was there to see where home, he should have called fist.
“Harry?”
Hearing his name he turned as the tears began to fall. “I’m sorry that I didn’t call, I just…” he stopped as strong arms wrapped him in a tight hug.
“What happened love?” Draco asked knowing that he was going through the worst time of his life and he wished that he could take the pain away and take it on himself.
Severus watched his mate cradle their once lover in his arms, moving to them he could hear the heart wrenching sobs, he had known that this day would come. He knew that Harry had to learn this lesson the hard way, he had not been raised in the wizarding world and he didn’t know everything that he should. “Come on love…” he coaxed drawing them to the sofa he called for tea and a calming draft.
Draco just held Harry knowing that he was not in the shape to talk at the moment but his heart was breaking for him, never should he have to feel this pain and if he had been brought up in their world he wouldn’t have been going through this. He would have accepted his mates and accepted that they were supposed to be together. Offering Harry the tea laced with a calming draft he waited for the hiccups before pulling back enough to dab a cool cloth on his red eyes. “Come on love, talk it out…”
Instead Harry held out the paper that he had brought with him and allowed the two to read what was being demanded of him. “She is telling her lawyer that I have been cheating with you two the whole time and that I have hit her and…” he stopped unable to continue a moment. “And that I have been abusing her.” He whispered.
“You haven’t been with us since the war and you were not with her when we got together! And you have never laid a hand on her! She’s the one pregnant by another man!” Draco snarled outraged that the Weasley was stating such claims.
“I’ve been such a fool, I should have never married her, but I thought that I if I offered her what I could that she would love me, I thought we could be happy since I couldn’t have you two…” Harry whispered softly looking away from Draco.
“Harry? You can have us; threesomes are permitted in our world we tried to tell you…” Draco whispered handed the paper to Severus as he pulled Harry close again. “I have a plan. When can you go back to the house?”
“Tonight, she’s not supposed to be back until morning for the lawyers to do the inventory of the home…”Harry whispered.
Draco grinned. “Good, this is what we are going to do….”

Harry stepped into his home feeling as if he had a shot of coming out of this sane, he knew where he belonged now and he knew that once this was done he would go where he belonged and where he was wanted. Looking to his lawyer he nodded as the stepped into the kitchen.
“What are you doing here?!” Ginny snarled turning on him like a snake.
“I have every right to be here while my home is inventoried like a clothing shop.” Harry said glaring.
As both lawyers went room by room and inventoried what was there and verified that everything was there as Harry pulled out the papers from his pocket that his lawyer had legalized for him just that morning and set them on the table. Sitting back he waited as the lawyers and Ginny reentered the room. “Everything in order?”
“Yes, everything is here, everything is accounted for.” The lawyers nodded. “We’ve even done the checks to be certain that the items are the items and not something transfigured.”
Harry smiled knowing more than he was going to let on, he also knew that Draco and Severus was more adept in dark spells than anyone. “Good, then I want you both to witness this!” he stood shoving the papers to Ginny.
“WHAT IS THAT?” She demanded and they could tell she was about to yell and argue.
“You don't have to holler, and we don't have to fight.

We can settle all this, right here, right now, today” He sighed softly “You don’t have to pack up, it is clear that you want more than half and everything that we owned. I have read what you want me to sign over, and what was ours is all yours now” he agreed.
“What do you mean Mr. Potter?” Ginny’s lawyer looked shocked that he was giving up so easily.
“Just what I said,” Harry set three sets of keys on the table. “Take the house that my sweat built you, and the keys to both the cars, and I have done you up the title to my old Harley in the barn that Sirius gave me for my 17^th birthday.” Taking a breath he gestured to the house around them “Take all the pictures, take it all.” He looked back at the list. “My grandfather’s Gibson is in the study and here is Grandmas diamond ring.” He looked down at the ring with a smile “You know Sirius told me that she wore this ring for fifty some odd years, she’ll probably roll over in her grave and I imagine that when I get to the other side she will want to kill me again but, I'll leave it here” he set it down with a sigh.
“You cannot be serious…” Harry’s lawyer looked shocked that his client was just giving up and not fighting for anything.
“I am…” Harry looked to him then to Ginny. “She wants to make these accusations, when she is the one pregnant by another man and probably has been messing around since our wedding night, she wants to fight and argue but I am done. What you don’t seem to realize is that for eight years, I fought a war that wasn’t my own, and now for ten years I have been fighting with her. I asked her to marry me because I thought she loved me, we dated in school, broke up for a year or so then got back together and everything was great until she decided that I wasn’t what she wanted. I am done.” Harry sighed seeing the look to triumph on Ginny’s face as she picked up the quill that was lying beside the divorce papers. Harry hoped that she would sign them without really reading them. If she read them then he knew that the game was up and then they would have a fight on their hands.
“What about the bass boat?” Ginny asked knowing that her lover would love to have it.
Harry shrugged “It’s yours, along with all my muggle guns and Earnhardt hat and the vault, if you want you can have the shirt off my back.”
Ginny smirked and before her lawyer could stop her, she signed her name right beside Harry’s. “Now where done!” she smirked.
Harry smiled “Yes, well I must say though that I couldn’t help but not see a couple little things on your list…”
“What?” Ginny looked at the list panicked. “What things?”
“If you don't care, I'll keep the kids…” Harry stood as Ginny realized what had happened.
“It’s legal and binding, the kids are his.” Ginny’s lawyer whispered. He picked up the papers to read what she had signed foolishly without reading.
“It’s just a couple little things you won't miss...” Harry smirked knowing that once she truly read the paper she would be even angrier. Turning he stood and walked out to pick up his kids from Molly’s, they had been staying with their Grandmother for the past week until they had this settled and now it was done. Looking up at his lawyer he smirked “She’ll get hers”
“I can’t believe that you didn’t fight for anything…” He whispered softly. “You could have won…”
“The papers you signed and legalized for me this morning did you read them?” Harry asked softly.
“No, you called me and said that you wanted to write up the contract and I figured that it was just what we had talked about...” His lawyer looked confused as he looked at Harry’s copy, reading what he had legalized.
“Let’s just say, she should always read what she signs.” Harry saw the grin on his lawyers face. “I’m going to pick up my kids.” Turning on the spot he felt free for the first time in ten years.
Ginny smirked as she looked around the vast home “I told you that I would get everything.” She smirked.
Ginny’s lawyer shook his head. “No, you didn’t.” he whispered handing her the papers. “Legal and binding, it’s a magical contract and you foolishly signed it!” he snarled.
Ginny stopped looking concerned. “What?”
“The only thing you get is the house!” He snarled “Look at the wording!” he growled as everything in the home vanished.

Harry smiled as his six year old twins ran to him. Kneeling down he pulled both kids to him. “Hi guys…been good?”
“Yes dad…” James and Albus chimed in together as Molly set Lillian on her feet.
“Harry? Look…” Molly smiled letting go of the little girls hands as she squealed and ran to her dad.
Harry smiled. “There’s my girl! You’re walking!” he cooed as he scooped her up. “Thank you for caring for them…”
Molly smiled sadly. “It’s my pleasure. Did you get custody, is it all settled?”
“I got everything, including them.” Harry whispered softly, he didn’t want to tell her how he had gotten away with it. “I hope…” he stopped suddenly fearful that the woman he had come to know as a Mum wouldn’t turn on him.
Molly though pulled him close, “You are my boy! I may not have birthed you, but you are mine! I don’t condone what she has done and she knows it. You are welcomed any time and I hope to see the kids…”
“Always” Harry promised.
“Dad?” James looked up at the adults knowing that something was wrong, and knowing that his parents were fighting.
“Yes love?”
“Are we going with you?”
“Yes love, we’re going to stay with some friends…” Harry explained softly not certain how much the kids would understand.
“What about Mum?” Albus asked wanting his parents to get along.
Harry looked at the pained eyes of Molly before he knelt to look at his boys. “Mum won’t be there, your Mum and I are no longer married, it’s called a divorce.” He explained softly.
“You mean Mum won’t live with us?” James asked.
“That’s right love, I’m afraid that sometimes parents have to go their separate ways.” He whispered seeing the tears in their eyes.
“Did Mum divorce us too?” James asked as the tears began to fall.
“Mummy doesn’t want us anymore because the new baby isn’t Daddies…” Albus whispered.
Harry suddenly realized that his kids did understand more than he thought and he realized that James was right. “How did you know that the new baby wasn’t mine?”
“I heard Mum telling that other man…” Albus whispered looking as upset as James was.
Harry wished that he could take the pain away from the kids; he had tried to protect them but it was clear that they were hurting just as bad as he was and they should not have to feel this. “I wish I had all the answers loves, but all I can say is that I promise to never leave you no matter what.”
James and Albus wrapped their arms around their Dad and sister as the tears fell.
“It’s alright, come, let’s get to my friends…” Harry whispered nodding to Molly as he activated the portkey Draco had given him. Landing in the study of the log cabin that was owned by Draco Harry looked up as Severus and Draco entered.
Severus saw the tears in not only Harry’s eyes but the kid’s eyes as well and he knew that they had a lot of damage to heal; nodding to Draco they moved into the room. “Welcome, you must be James and Albus…” he smiled kindly hoping to get the kids to relax a little.
“I’m James and this is Al and Lillian.” James looked up at the man a little worried about being near the stranger.
“My name is Severus and this is my husband Draco.” Severus introduced. “It’s getting close to lunch time would you like to see your rooms and then maybe explore the gardens.” He suggested.
“Go ahead…” Harry encouraged as he set Lillian on the floor to toddle around their heels.
“I’ll show them.” Draco smiled leading the boys out of the room and taking Lillian as well to let Severus and Harry have a moment to speak alone.
Severus moved to Harry and pulled him close after setting the locking and privacy charms. “Come on, cry it out, this is not something to keep bottled up.” He encouraged not certain if they were happy tears or upset tears. His answer though came a moment later when Harry, through the sobs, told him what happened at Molly’s when he picked up the kids. “It’s never easy to go through what you are going through and it is even harder when there are children in the mix, but we can show them that it is alright and that they are loved.” Severus whispered leading him to the sofa by the fire to let him cry himself out and release the tension of the day. It wasn’t long before the tears stopped, Severus pulled back a little to look at Harry and offer him a handkerchief to dry his eyes. “I know that things will take time, but we still love you and we’ll keep the kids….” He smiled softly knowing that Harry would get the message that he was trying to say.

Five Years Later!
“I can’t believe we are finally bonding with him.” Draco smiled at Severus as they sat to plan the bonding. “We’ve waited so long.”
“I know and I am very proud of how patient you have been with him and the kids.” Severus smiled as he leaned over to kiss him husband. “The kids are wonderful I am very proud of all three of them.” Severus confessed softly thinking of the now eleven year old twins and a six year old Lillian. “They start school this year.”
“I know, I think Harry is going to go crazy not having his boys home.” Draco smiled softly realizing that the boys were at the door listening. “Boys? You can come in.” he called softly and was pleased that the door opened and James and Albus entered looking upset and tearful. Since the divorce they had a hard time accepting change and they knew that this was something that, again, was going to take time for the boys. It was even worse when Ginny never called or wrote her children even though they wrote to their mum all the time. “What is wrong?” he asked setting his pen down.
“Dad told us today he was going to bond with you and Mr. Snape.” Al whispered looking to his brother a moment.
“Are you going to leave us like Mum did?” James asked in a rush feeling the tear start to fall. “You and Mr. Snape are already bonded, are you going to get tired of Daddy too and leave us?”
Severus looked from Draco to the kids and he knew that they had to put their fears to bed. “Come here kiddos” he smiled softly when the kids moved to them. Taking their hands he smiled. “Draco and I have always loved your Dad but things happened and we couldn’t be together at the start and Draco and I had to wait for the right time for your Dad to join us. I am glad for the wait because we have three wonderful children from it. Three children that I might not have helped make but three children that I am so proud of and would do anything for and I know that Draco feels the same, we will never leave you. I swear that you will always be ours. We’re keeping you.” He promised as both boys broke into tears and hugged both men as Harry entered.
“Is everything alright?” Harry asked worried seeing his boys in tears.
Severus pulled out of the embrace. “I think it is now, why don’t you two go pack up, while we talk to your Dad.” He encouraged.
“Thank you.” James whispered as they headed out feeling better about the situation.
“What is going on?” Harry asked sitting beside his mates that had become two more parents to his children.
Draco explained what the problem was and how they handled it. “They are still worried, it doesn’t help that Ginny is doing what she is. They feel worthless and feel like their Mum doesn’t want them.”
Harry sighed “I wish I knew what to do…”
“I think I know, at the bonding, why don’t Draco and I adopt them?” Severus asked “It would give them the feeling of belonging and give them that connection that is missing back.”
“I think it’s a great idea…” Draco smiled hoping that Harry would agree.
“Let me talk to them and explain what it would entail, but I like that idea.” Harry smiled leaning over to kiss Draco and then Severus.
Severus though deepened the kiss until his submissive was breathless.

Harry was dressed in his bonding robes helping his kids dress for the event. “Are you looking forward to this?” he asked pleased that they had wanted to be adopted by Severus and Draco.
“Yes!” All three chimed in.
“We get a family today. We have three Dads now,” James smiled “and they promise not to leave us.”
Harry hugged his children “They will never leave us; I promise we will always be family.”
“Harry? It’s time.” Charlie smiled from the door as they got into place.
“Alright let’s go.” Harry smiled as the bonding ceremony got under way. Once he was firmly bonded to Severus and Draco the bonder called for attention one more time and one by one the kids where adopted to be Severus and Draco’s. Once they were officially a family the gathered guests move to congratulate them and mingle.
Severus watched Harry a moment as he watched the kids “What are you thinking?”
“That I am glad that I got to keep the kids.” Harry smiled they were happy and would always be a family.
