And then they were off to the Beauxbatons carriage. The three of them got in and then it was off. Hermione was still staring, not able to say a thing. Ron felt like he was standing next to an explosive ready to blow.

Finally he said, “Well, at least he’ll be safe from You Know Who right?”

“Yes, I suppose that’s okay…” she said, her voice almost monotone. Then she slowly turned around and walked back.

The whole of Hogwarts would always remember that last day as a day of mystery. Of where that scream came from. And what kind of mad creature could utter such a death cry.
