Safe House Chapter 10

Chapter 10
The group of eighty five keepers plus Charlie headed toward the front of the school, and Hagrid's small house. Charlie stayed in the middle of the group, so that Harry didn't see him right away. The four students stood watching the approaching group with their wands drawn, Hagrid stood in front of them with a pink umbrella pointed at them.
As they drew closer to Harry, Charlie worked his way through the keepers to the front of the group. "Harry, meet the keepers of Hogwarts advance guard," he said, watching the faces of the five people in front of him.
Harry smiled and stepped forward, "What do you mean, advance guard?"
"There are fifty more dragons standing guard around the castle. These keepers are from around the world, and they've been sent here to help us care for the dragons. We'll be here all year," he explained. "We just need you to cast the translation spell so that they can get to work."
"Are you staying?" Harry asked in a small voice.
Charlie stepped forward, "It was my idea, and I couldn't let you come back here without more protection. I don't want anything to happen to you."
Harry took a step closer to Charlie and kissed his lips lightly, "I'm glad that you're here."
He stepped back and began casting the spell on the large crowd of dragon keepers.The blonde American keeper walked up to Charlie and nudged him, "You could have just said that he was your boyfriend. You didn't have to say that he was your brother's best friend."
Charlie laughed, "He's been my brother's best friend for six years, he's only been my boyfriend for a little over a month."
