Harry\'s New Dad

Draco had just found the compartment with his friends in it as the train whistle blew to warn the students that it was leaving soon. Putting his trunk in the luggage rack over his head he sat down to greet his friends. Blaise was his best guy friend; he was the only student in the school who was taller then Ron Weasley who was 6ft 4in. Blaise, on the other hand, stood an inch taller at 6ft 5in. He had long black hair, which drove his girlfriend, Griffindor Hermione Granger nuts, and dark brown eyes. Next to him sat his girlfriend who was 5ft 8in, she had bushy brown hair and chocolate brown eyes, she was known to be the bookworm of the school, and became an outcast of Griffindor for dating a Slytherin. Sitting next to him was his best female friend Pansy; she was the same height as Hermione and had blond hair and blue eyes. Next to her was her boyfriend Theo Nott, he was just a little shorter that Draco at 5ft 11in and had brown hair and blue eyes. Hearing the door open Draco saw the last two and largest two of the group enter the compartment. Vincent Crabb and Gregory Goyle were both large and dumb looking, but all the people in the compartment knew they were a lot smarter than they looked. After they were all done greeting each other they decided to get down to business.

“So,” Blaise started, “did you all hear that there are a bunch of mutants coming from a school in America to have protection from Voldemort?”

Yeah, my father told me something about that, said he met some of the teachers and they seemed real nice.” Answered Draco, his dad was back on the board of governors for the school. “They also have some of their teachers guarding the train with the Potter teachers.”

“Well, at least we will hopefully have someone protecting us who knows what they are doing. I wouldn’t want to rely on Potter’s parents to save my life.” Said Pansy.

“While I don’t like them personally, they do know a lot about charms and DADA.” Said Hermione. (James teaches DADA and Lily Charms.)

“Speaking of Potters what is this I hear about Jason being Draco’s mate.” Asked Theo with a raised Eyebrow.

“Not if I have any bloody say in it” said Draco.

Just then the door to the compartment flew open and what looked like a blue elf and a small boy with black hair ran in. Suddenly there was a puff of smoke and they weren’t there any more. That was when the teens in the compartment heard yelling in the hall.

“Harry Potter, Kurt Wagner, when I get my hands on you your both dead meat.” The teens looked out the compartment door and just had to laugh. Running down the hall was a girl with bright blue hair and a boy with neon pink hair. Following them trying to keep up was a small boy who looked thirteen and was having a hard time keeping his laughter under control. As the two older teens stormed by the younger one entered the Slytherin’s compartment.

“You haven’t by chance seen two boys come in here have you? They are kind of hard to miss, one is blue.” The boy asked

Before anyone could answer they heard laughing coming from the luggage rack. Soon enough the two boys were jumping down from it.

“Are they gone Jamie?” Asked Kurt

“Yeah, by the way Harry that was great!” Jamie said with a huge grin.

The Slytherins and Griffindor looked at the two older teens of the three there they didn’t know. That was when Draco smelled it, a mixture of Rain and Apples, the scent of his mate. Looking around he realized the most gorgeous boy he had ever seen was standing in front of him. Black messy hair, big bright green eyes, and other than the thirteen year old the shortest in the compartment. He thought the others had called him Harry too.

“Yeah, Harry, I don’t think I have ever seen those two so mad.” Said Kurt

Suddenly they were interrupted by Blaise, “wait you did that to them?” he said to Harry.

“Yeah, they were to busy making-out and not paying attention to us.” Was Harry’s rely

“Everyone at the institute knows not to let your guard down around those two.” Said Jamie “Bad things happen to those who do, and worse things happen if you let your guard down around Professors Lupin and Black.”

“Who do you think taught us” was Kurt’s reply.

“How did you do it?” asked Hermione

“A spell” was Harry’s reply.

“So you’re wizards then?” asked Pansy.

“No there are only three Wizards at the institute, and those are Harry and Professors Lupin and Black. Harry was adopted by Logan who teaches there and Professors Lupin and Black are like his uncles and teach him spells and wizarding stuff.” All explained by Jamie.

“Um, maybe we should introduce our selves,” suggested Harry suddenly uncomfortable with the number of people in the compartment he didn’t know. “I’m Harry, this is Kurt, and that is Jamie.”

“OH, How rude of us, I’m Hermione, this is my boyfriend Blaise, that is Draco, that is Pansy and her boyfriend Theo, and that is Greg and that is Vince.”

“Nice to meet ya” said Kurt, Harry, and Jamie

Just then the door opened again and a shorter man with brown hair and a rough appearance stuck his head in. “Just thought you should know they are coming back this way and are even more mad than before. Lets just say they didn’t see Padfoot close by. So if I was you kids I’d hide.”

“Thanks dad.” Said Harry as Logan left.

“You don’t have time,” said Greg looking into the hall of the train.

“Crap”

Just then Draco stood up and pushed Harry’s smaller form behind him to hide him and Blaise and Theo did the same for Kurt and Jamie just as Lance and Kitty entered the compartment.

“Have you seen two boys, one is blue and the other is short with long black hair?” asked Kitty.

“You know I think I saw them go into the baggage compartment.” Lied Draco.
With that Kitty and Lance took off.

“Thanks that was great but we should probably get going.” Said Harry.

Draco thinking quickly said, “You know you should stay here incase they come back” much to the others shock in the compartment. Only Hermione and Pansy noticed how close Draco was standing to Harry and decided to help thing along and finally convinced them to stay. It was a tight fit but they managed and only two had to sit on the floor. That was until Remus showed up and enlarged it a bit for them, but they still had to sit really close together not that Draco minded.

All the teens continued talking amongst themselves until the door to the compartment opened yet again, and in walked Ron Weasley and Jason Potter. Seeing the number of people and where Draco was he walked into the compartment and proceeded to push Harry to the floor so sit in his place while almost sitting on Jamie, as Harry was a lot smaller than him. Harry got up and was about to sit on the other bench next to Kurt when Jason was suddenly pushed to the ground and Draco pulled him ungracefully back into his seat.

“What do you want Potter?” asked Draco in a tone which mad everyone else glad he wasn’t mad at them.

“Just to see if you came to your senses since coming into your veela inheritance and realized who your mate was.” Said a smug Jason.

Harry then realizes what was going on. Draco, who he found he had a little crush on, was a veela and Jason must be his mate.

Draco looked over at Harry and realized he got the wrong idea decided to tell Jason off once and for all. Just then he felt that Harry was going to get up and leave so he decided to just say it all at one and hope Harry was ok with what he found out.

“Actually Jason you are not my mate, but my mate is in this room and is in fact sitting next to me.” That said everyone started looking at Harry and Draco. The Slytherins looked shocked while Jamie and Kurt looked confused and started trying to remember what they had read while helping Harry study for his tests with Remus. No one even saw Logan or James in the doorway until Logan grabbed Draco off the seat and away from his son while Harry was still in a daze and taking him to find Sirius and Remus to explain things. All he knew was this boy just decided to claim his son as his mate. James led Ron and Jason from the room. Leaving every one else to sit there in shock at what they had all figured out.

Kurt was the first to recover and decided to break Harry out of his trance so he could go rescue Draco from overprotective guardians. “Harry, you do realize your dad just pulled your mate out of here by force don’t you?”

That was all it took Harry was out of his seat and off to find his father before him or his uncles did too much damage.

Once he was gone Theo was the first to ask, “Is his dad really that bad?”

Jamie replied, “Not unless he thinks someone is trying to hurt Harry. Take the protectiveness of your normal father and times it by ten then you got Logan and Harry.”

“Let’s just hope Harry gets there before Logan gets him to Remus or Sirius. They are just as protective as Logan.” Kurt decided to chime in.

Suddenly the Slytherins and Hermione were beginning to wonder if Draco would return by the end of the train ride or even ever.
