As Hermione began to sing it was like nothing I had ever heard before. She sounded like a siren singing to the men at sea, even though the song, I’m sure, wasn’t meant to sound that way. I’m surprised I actually know this song and who the artist is although I would never let her know that. Hermione would never let him hear the end of it if she did. I was also very surprised that she chose this song. It meant the world to me that she chose this song and the meaning behind it.
Once the song was over Hermione had hardly enough time to set the microphone down before I came running up to her and picked her up and swung her around. After I gently set her back on her feet I cupped her face asking, “Do you really mean that? What the song meant and everything?”
Hermione nodded and blushed a beautiful shade of red, and by the way she was blushing I could tell that she was telling the truth. I looked deep into her eyes and I could tell that she wanted to kiss me and yet didn’t want to make the first move. So I did.
Leaning in, I looked at her exquisite plum lips back up to her eyes, silently asking permission to kiss her. With a slight nod of her head, I dove in the rest of the way. When our lips met for the first time it was like an electrical current when through me. You know how people say, ‘when people find their soul mate, the one other person that was specifically made for you, that a shock like current will go through you when you have your first touch, mainly a kiss.’ well that’s exactly what I felt and I could tell that Hermione had felt it to because she took in a sharp breath through her nose.
Closing my eyes I deepened the kiss as I ran my tongue along her bottom lip asking for entrance which she complied with as she slowly wrapped her arms around my neck. When my tongue entered her hot mouth I couldn’t keep from moaning as her tongue began to dance with mine and when her tongue snaked into my mouth she moaned, sending my blood way down south.
As we pulled back for breath I heard clapping from the entrance of Three Broomsticks. Turning my head slightly I looked to find my mother standing at the entrance with the biggest smile on her face. Looking confused Hermione and I made our way to her after picking up our drinks and the letters Hermione received. “What’s wrong mom? Has something happened?"
“Of course not darling. I just had some books that I wanted to pick up from Flourish and Blotts. I didn’t know you would be here.” Narcissa answered heading towards the door that lead out of Three Broomsticks with Hermione and I following her and outside until she came to an abrupt stop with Hermione and I colliding into her. Suddenly my mother turned to us and whispered, “I want you both to go back inside and go out the back. Get to Hogwarts as fast as you can. Put on my cloak Hermione.” Taking off her cloak and after handing it to Hermione, she continued, “Don’t call attention to yourselves. And whatever you do don’t stop moving until you are inside Hogwarts and all the way into the Headmistress’s office. Wait for me there.”
“Mother, tell me what’s going on please?”
“It’s Bella. Now go!”

I knew that I had no time to tell my mother to be safe, so I ushered Hermione to the nearest floo network, grabbed a hand full of floo powder and pulling Hermione into the fireplace before throwing down the floo powder and shouting, “Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!”
