Chapter 10
When Harry got downstairs, Sirius and Severus were already there eating.
"So how did it go last night?"
"Well Harry how do you think it went?" Sirius asked.
"Well if Severus is as smart as I think he is, then he said yes."
"Well Harry, you would be right. I did say yes. Although I think I almost gave Siri here a heart attack." Severus laughed. Holding up his left hand showing off the ring Sirius gave him.
"Wow Sirius that's a nice ring."
"I know it is Harry."
"Tilly."
"Yes master Sirius. What can Tilly do for you's."
"I think Harry here would like some breakfast."
"Tilly can you please get me some scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, a bit of fruit please."
"Of course master Harry." She popped out and a couple of minutes later popped back in with everything Harry had asked for.
"Thank you Tilly." She bowed and popped back out.
"So when are you two going to get married?"
"Well we have a month before we have to go back to school. So we were thinking before that." Severus told them. Sirius nodded his head in agreement.
"That's fine with me. I think I'm gonna go upstairs and take a nap for a while."
"Okay Harry. See you in a while." Sirius said. After Harry left Sirius and Severus started talking.
"Sirius, I think I need to go talk to Draco."
"Why is that Sev?"
"Well love, I think Harry is starting to get frustrated not knowing who is writing him. I also think Harry is trying to figure out away to talk to Draco."
"Well as far as the first part I'm not so sure about that. I know he is trying to figure out a way to talk to Draco. I suggested writing him, but I don't think he has done it yet."
"We will just have to encourage it a little farther I think love. But we will have to do it in a round about way."
"I know that Sev. You go ahead and talk with Draco."
"Okay love, I will be back later, hopefully with some good news."
When Harry woke up it was almost 5. 'Wonder why they let me sleep so long.' He looked around the room and realized an owl was waiting for him. It was sitting on his desk, so he went over and untied the letter. He went ahead and pulled what he needed to write back to him and read the letter.
Harry,
You guessed right I am a pure blood. But before you killed Voldemort, I was never allowed to be friends with you. My father never would have allowed it. I have always had feelings for you, from the first moment I saw you. -Osiris-
Harry smiled when he read the last line. Thinking about what it said. 'OMG, I think this is Malfoy. One way to find out.' He read it a few more times, then Harry started writing his reply.
Osiris,
I'm not really sure how to ask this, but was your father a Death Eater? If you don't want to tell me that is alright. I understand. But just so you know I don't hold it against you. Hell even Malfoy didn't deserve to be treated the way he did by his father. I don't think he is as bad as everyone thinks. Sorry didn't mean to get off topic. So would you tell me what colors you wear at school? -Harry-
Harry was pretty sure it was Draco, that was writing to him. He read back through the letter to make sure it sounded ok then tied it to the owl and watched it take off. Tilly popped in.
"Master Harry, master Sirius says its time for supper and for you to come down and eat."
"Okay Tilly, would you please tell him I will be down in a minute." Tilly bowed and popped out. Harry walked downstairs deep in thought. He didn't even realize he was already in the kitchen and eating, until Sirius poked him hard on the arm.
"Bloody hell Siri, what was that for?"
"Well I have been trying to get your attention, but you were to spaced out. What are you thinking so hard about?" Harry didn't want to tell Sirius his suspicions yet until he was sure about who was writing him.
"It's nothing Siri."
"Bullox Harry. What was it? Did you get another letter from your mystery writer?" Sirius wiggled his eyebrows.
"Yeah actually I did, but I don't really want to talk about it."
"Okay that's fine Harry. So how was your afternoon?"
"It was fine. Why did you and Sev let me sleep so long? Speaking of Sev, where is he at?"
"I figured you needed the sleep. And Sev is out running errands, he should be back anytime."
"Oh okay." "So what are you going to do tonight?"
"Well I thought about reading a bit."
"Okay Harry, see you in the morning."
"Night Siri." Harry hugged Sirius and went to the library.
********In Malfoy Manor****************
Draco layed there on his bed reading, when someone knocked on the door.
"Come in."
"Hello Draco how are you? How is your summer going so far."
"Hello uncle Sev. It's been a slow day, but the summer has been interesting so far."
"How's that Draco?"
"Well I've had some interesting letters."
"Oh really, would any of those letters be from Harry by any chance?" Draco did something he doesn't do often. He blushed.
"Yes uncle Sev, they have been. How did you know about them?" Draco looked at Severus with narrowed eyes.
"I haven't been spying if that is what you think. Harry asked me to look at them, to see if I could figure out who they were from..."
"You didn't tell him who it was did you?"
"If you would calm down Draco. I would tell you I didn't tell him who it was. It wasn't my place." Draco let out the breath he was holding.
"Draco when are you going to tell him who you are?"

"I don't know uncle Sev. I thought it might be better if at first he didn't know who it was. Do think it was a bad idea?"
"Not necessarily Draco. As long as you don't keep it up to long. How close do you think he is to figuring it out?"
"I'm not sure, I know he is smarter than anyone thought. But I have no idea how close he is."
"You are right about him being smarter than anyone thought. Enough of the. How are you doing?"
"I'm fine. Mother is in the South of France. So I'm here on my own." Before Severus could answer, Draco's owl flew in with Harry's reply.
"Do you mind if I read it?"
"No Draco, go ahead." Draco untied the letter and read frowning and then he stopped moving and Severus got worried.
"Draco, what is it? Is something wrong?" Draco didn't answer, he just sat there staring. off into space. Severus decided he had enough and pinched Draco hard on the arm.
"Bloody hell uncle Sev, what was that for?"
"Language Draco. I have been trying to get your attention."
"Oh sorry. It's from Harry."
"So what did he write that made you freeze up like that?"
"Here I will let you read it for yourself." Draco handed Severus the letter. As Severus read it his eyes got wider and wider.
"So I suppose he is closer than we thought to figuring it out." Severus said.
"I suppose so. But what if he doesn't want me the way I want him? What will I do?"
"Draco first calm yourself. Just try being his friend first, then see where it goes. You will see a lot of changes this year at school."
"Like what uncle Sev?"
"You will have to wait and see." Severus said with a smirk. Draco sat there sulking.
'I really do hate when he does that.' Draco thought.
"Well Draco I really must be going. Sirius is waiting for me to return."
"Okay uncle Sev, love you."
"I love you too my dragon." After Severus left Draco pulled out his writing supplies and wrote back to Harry.
Harry,
Thank you for saying it didn't matter that my father was a Death Eater. I'm sure Draco would appreciate the fact that you said he didn't deserve to be treated the way he was. I wear green and silver at school. -Osiris-
Draco made sure the last part was barely legible. Hoping Harry would over look it. But he seriously doubted that Harry wouldn't find it. He tied the letter to his owl's let and it took off. Draco layed across his bed thinking.

When Harry woke up he realized he was in his bedroom.
'How did I get up here? Last place I remember being was the library.' He got up and took a shower. When he got out he looked around and saw an owl and untied the letter. He smiled as he was reading until he read the last line, which was written so small he had to squint to read it. After he read the last line he smirked.
'I knew it was Draco.' Harry sat down at his desk and wrote to Draco.

You are welcome, although you didn't have to say thanks at all. By the way I know its you Draco. Please don't be mad that I figured it out. I really just want to put the past behind us. I know in first year I hurt you. I want us to try and be friends maybe more later. There are going to be a lot of changes come this school year. A lot of people might end up hating me. I hope you aren't one of them. I am tired of hiding who I truly am. So I am going to stop hiding. Fuck what anyone else thinks. Please don't ignore me now that I figured out who you are. Your friend

Harry read back over it and then tied it to the owl's leg.
"Take this to Draco please." He told the owl. The owl nipped his fingers in reply. Once the owl was gone he went downstairs for breakfast. When he walked in Sirius and Severus were sitting there eating and talking. But as soon as he walked in they stopped talking.
"So you were talking about me huh?" Harry asked smirking.
"And if we were brat?"
"It's not a big deal Siri."
"By the way did you move me to my room last night?"
"No I didn't." Sirius replied.
"That would be me Harry. That chair you fell asleep in didn't look that comfortable. So I moved you to your bed." Severus told him.
"Okay. Thanks Sev. So what are you guys gonna do today?"
"Not sure yet but I figured you and I could do something together, you know spend some time together." Severus told Harry.
"That's fine with me Sev. We could always go down to the potions lab and brew together."
"I have been wanting to see how good you really are anyway, so that's a good idea. We could go now if you like?"
"Sounds good to me." Harry and Severus left and went down to the lab.
"So what do you want to brew first Sev?" Severus stood there thinking for a minute.
"Okay Harry lets make some Veritaserum." Harry smirked.
"Okay Sev." They were down in the lab for a couple of hours.
"Well Harry to tell you the truth I didn't believe you at first. But you have certainly proven me wrong. You do realize that once you are back in my class, I will expect you to do your best."
"Yeah Sev I know that."
"Good no that is out of the way. I have something to ask you."
"Okay ask away." Severus took a deep breath and asked.
"I know it is your's and Sirius' house, but I would like to invite Draco over. He is alone right now. And I would like to spend some time with him before school starts. That is if it is alright with you."
"Well what does Siri say?" Severus tried to hide his smirk.
"We talked this morning and he said it was okay with him, but I had to ask you as well."
"Okay, I don't see any problems with it Sev. Just as long as he doesn't think he can tell me what to do to isn't a bastard to me or anyone else." Harry sat there thinking of ways for him and Draco to have fun. While Harry was thinking Severus stood there watching him, Harry smirked. As Harry started daydreaming about what he could do to Draco, Severus interrupted him.
"Okay I will let him know what you said. How about I bring him over on Thursday?"
"That's fine with me Sev." They walked upstairs and into the kitchen. Sirius was sitting there waiting for them.
"So I take it, it went well down there as you both are still alive." Harry smacked Sirius' arm and said,
"Yeah just proved what I was saying about holding myself back. By the way, who do we have to contact for me to be retested?" Severus was the one to answer,
"Well the headmistress and then she would contact the ministry and they would sent someone to retest you. We could go ahead and get the process started if you want."
"I would really like that. I want to do it as soon as possible."
"Alright Harry I will firecall Minerva right now." Sirius said as he stood to make the call.
"I think I'm going to go study a bit if its okay."
"Sure Harry, although from what I saw down in the lab you don't have to worry about potions." Severus said with a smile. Harry smirked,
"Thanks Sev." Harry went upstairs thinking. Harry knew he really didn't have to study, but it couldn't hurt right. When Sirius came back from making the firecall it was only Severus in the kitchen.
"Sev where did Harry go? And did he at least eat something before he went?"
"Well luv, he went up to study some, and no I don't remember him eating anything. You could always have Tilly take something up to him." Sirius sighed, he would have to talk to Harry about not eating.
"Tilly." Tilly popped in.
"What can Tilly do for you's master Sirius?"
"Can you talk a sandwich and pumpkin juice up to Harry, he didn't eat any lunch." Tilly sighed and looked disappointed.
'Maybe I won't have to talk to Harry after all.'
"Of course I will master Sirius." And Tilly popped out and went to take care of Harry. Sirius turned to Severus,
"So did you talk to Harry?"
"Yes I did, and he said it was alright as long as and I quote he doesn't tell me what to do or is a bastard to him or anyone else." Severus said with a smirk.
"Well that was easier than we thought."
"Actually I was thinking about it, I think Harry might have figured out that it was Draco that was writing to him. That might be the reason I told him I would bring Draco over on Thursday. Is that all right?"
"Sev its fine. Draco is welcome to come over anytime." Severus walked over and kissed Sirius slowly. Sirius moved closer to Severus and deepened the kiss. Just as Severus licked Sirius' bottom lip, Harry came barging in yelling,
"Would you please get this bloody elf off me..." Harry was going to say more but realized Sirius and Severus were busy kissing.
"Siri can you please get this elf away from me. She won't stop going on and on about me eating something." Severus was the one to answer,
"Harry you really shouldn't skip meals. I want your word you will eat at every meal. You will also take a nutrient potion until I am satisfied with your weight."
"Okay Sev, I won't miss any meals from now on." Tilly looked happy.
"Was that really that hard master Harry?" Harry rolled his eyes.
"No Tilly. Can I go back to studying now?"
"Of course master Harry as long as you eat your sandwich Tilly brought you." With that the elf popped out. Sirius laughed,
"Remind me to never tick that elf off." Severus smirked and playfully swatted Sirius' ass.
"Sev, not while Harry is in the room. Although I could understand you not being able to keep your hands off my arse." Severus smirked.
"Okay that was way to much information Siri. I'm going back upstairs. By the way if you don't want to be walked in on, I would suggest going to your room. But please if you do remember silencing charms. I am trying to study."
"You Harry are a brat. But we will do our best." Severus smirked while Sirius was turning redder by the minute. When Harry got upstairs he had two letters waiting for him.
