He lay snuggled between them once again, this time though, with his head resting on Evan's shoulder, the fingers of his left hand tracing slow, lazy patterns through the sparse blond hair.
He was exhausted, almost too exhausted to move, his body lax, sexually sated beyond anything he had ever experienced. Behind him, his husband lay pressed to his back, like Evan, very nearly asleep, his arm wrapped around his waist, laying flat on Evan's stomach.
As he lay there, a memory came back to him in full blown color. Evan had brought him up over him, his wonderful hot, hard, long cock buried deep within him, even as Rodolphus had been in Evan. Rodolphus had leaned into his back, murmuring in a soft voice to let his shields down. It was time to see just what Evan would do with the bond that was steadily becoming stronger.
Roark had meet Evan's deep, dark blue eyes, murmuring his name as he drove up into him, his shields coming down Feeling Roark's empathy surge as much as his magic was...THEIR magic. Evan's eyes had gone very wide, and with a cry had came, flooding Roark with his release.
Roark felt his left hand taken, lifted, a kiss pressed into his palm. "I have," he began softly, his head turning, "the perfect ring to go with the one you already wear."
Roark rose to his elbow as a soft chuckle sounded behind him. "Are you asking me to seal to you?"
A warm chuckle sounded. "In a very roundabout way, yes." His hand lifted, the backs of his fingers brushing over his cheek, up into his hair to pull his head down. "Will you seal yourself to me, Roark Lestrange? You and Rodolphus have become, in a very short time, far more than I had ever hoped."
Roark moaned as he was kissed, and with his shields still down he felt everything that Evan did...

They called the entire family together later that day after Roark Sr. had brought Hunter back to them. He had frozen the moment he had turned to look at his youngest after handing Hunter over to his Sire.
"So, this would be why your gifts never seemed to settle. There was another bond."
"So it would seem. I feel steadier now...more complete and in control. I need to talk to Ethan about this, but we have time. We need the family called together."
Roark Durin Sr. turned his head to look at the blond man sitting calmly at the table. "You hurt EITHER of them, they will never find your body."
"PAPA!!"
Evan had laughed, gotten to his feet, and moved to the Admiral. "You have my word, Sir, he will know nothing but love from me."

Roark got to his feet, his silver eyes sweeping the room. "Okay, so first, I want to thank everyone for coming on such short notice. I'll make this short and simple since I can see Severus is impatient to get back to his lab."
"You finally gave in to Evan," Kili called out.
"More like he and Rodolphus made a plan to send him to me."
Ethan got to his feet, moved to him. Slipping his fingers under his chin, he lifted his face, blue eyes searching. Then he ginned and pressed a kiss to his brow. "Congratulations, little brother. You are far more settled, and relaxed than I could have ever hoped."
"When we have the sealing ceremony, Rodolphus and I are going to renew our vows as we take the new ones with Evan."
They were all up and surrounding the three of them, Dacian. Gabriel. Severus and Raphael caught Evan's arm and pulled him aside, just as he had known they would.
Let the threats begin.
