guys!I
know you’re not meant to post author’s notes as separate chapters (I’ve done
this twice now, and I’m not feeling comfortable about that.)I
just wanted to let you all know that even though I haven’t updated this story in
ages for a reason. A few actually.I
have decided to re-write the story. I’m reading through them, fixing things up
that just don’t make sense. I’m also finding some gramma/spelling mistakes and
fixing that up. But I’m also re-writing a lot of things, and putting in a few
things that weren’t in before.The
reason why I’m doing this is because this story wasn’t planned properly when I
first thought of it (at least three years ago). I had no idea where I was going
to take it. Now I know though. And I need to fix a few things up.The
first chapter has been completely re-designed, as are most of the other
chapters (I’m currently up to chapter 8).There
may be a few drastic things changing (I had hoped I wouldn’t change things so
much that a re-read is necessary for you guys, because I don’t want to make
things difficult) but it looks like there are a few major changes in here, but I
have to assure you that this version of the story is a lot better. There are no
dramatic plot changes though, nor anything that would completely throw people. It’s
just that things are more explained and planned in this new version.I
have spent at least three days reading through the story, categorising events
and time frames through the chapters, and I must say that there is a lot wrong
with this story that I’m planning on fixing. A lot of contradicting and all
that stuff is happening, and please don’t even ask me about the timeframe
that’s passed (I swear I thought that by the seventh chapter they were up to
weeks being bonded ‘Hides face in shame’)I
really need to do this though. Anyway, this new version is looking way better!I’m
going to upload the new version of the story all at the same time, and doing
this isn’t going to affect any updates that are coming – so the story will
still be updated while I re-write the earlier chapters.The
changes won’t be serious. The basic plot line of each chapter is still happening,
it’s just I’m putting everything that I’ve learnt since I last wrote the
chapter into it. And things are so planned out that hopefully I can work way
better. There will be a small amount of changes though, some things will happen
or be mentioned that weren’t mentioned before in that chapter.If
you were to read through the first few chapters, and than the later ones,
you’ll find that it doesn’t fit.For
an example: They’ve been studying up on the ceremony for four months before they did it, and yet, in the first few chapters
they act like they have no idea what’s going on, or what to expect… Yet in the later
chapters they say that they knew what they were doing (after all, Hermione was
there making them study and know what they were getting themselves into). And
there have been no preparations for it, I mean, Pomfrey told them to go to
their separate rooms (in the second chapter), they should know that they can’t
from the start, and a room should have been allocated to them weeks prior to
the event. (I’m criticising my own story,
lol, never saw that coming).See?
It makes no sense.I
want to make this story fit better. So please bear with me while I fix all this
up, I know it can be really confusing and I really, really apologise for that.So
please understand why I need to do this, I promise to get the next chapter up
soon. I’ve already started it.Once
again, I am sorry. I feel really mean for doing this to you guys, but I don’t
think I could cope. With a good story behind me it can help make me concentrate
on future chapters being just as good.Thanks!
