Title: What I Did During The Summer

Rating: R

Summary: Hermione is due to start her seventh year at
Hogwarts. However, she has a little surprise for Harry and Ron, one that will
test their friendship.

Chapter 11: Visiting The Dursley�s

�� The next
morning Dumbledore, dressed in muggle clothes, went to visit Alicia and see if
she was alright. He had no idea what made her marry Dudley
since he had caused nothing but problems for Harry when he had been living with
the Dursley�s. According to the parchment they had moved to a flat in London
and so it wasn�t that long of a trip from Hogwarts to London.

�� He rang the
doorbell and the familiar face of Alicia appeared on the other side. She smiled
when she saw who it was.

�� Hi, Albus,� Alicia
said. �Would you like to come in?�

�� Yes, thank you,�
Dumbledore said.

And he followed her inside.

�� Would you like
some tea?� Alicia asked when Dumbledore had closed the door.

�� Yes, please,�
Dumbledore said.

He looked around and saw that it was modestly furnished in a
style that he was sure Dudley didn�t possess. He sat
down and that�s when she returned with the tea. She handed a cup to one and
then sat down.

�� So what�s the
reason for the visit?� she asked.

�� Well I saw your announcement
in the Daily Prophet and I came by to make sure that you were okay. I also have
questions that I think I deserve that answer to.�

She looked at him intently.

�� And what kind of
questions?� she asked him.

He took a sip of his tea and then started.

�� Well first of all
does your husband know that you�re a witch?�

�� Yes,� she said.

He stared at her, shocked.

�� It�s no big deal,�
she said. �His opinion of witches and wizards has changed since Harry and the
Order saved him from being almost killed by Death Eaters. In fact that�s how we
met. I was being held captive by Death Eaters and he happened to be in the same
cell that I was in. When we were rescued by not only Harry but the Order, he
saw that people with magic are just like Muggles. I didn�t see him until one
day he was in London with his
parents getting a few things. We dated and then two months later we got
married. Of course his parents have no idea that I�m a witch.�

�� Are you still
working for the Ministry?�

�� Of course,� she
said. �I just started on the Accidental Magical Reversal Squad. And even though
I�m still hiding from the few Death Eaters that remain, I�m still active in the
Wizarding world.�

�� And have you
explained your job to him?�

�� Yes, he said that
he�s alright with it as long as I don�t end up getting really hurt. I told him
that all jobs have some risk and he agrees.�

�� And, um, where�s
your husband at now?�

�� He�s out with my
in-laws,� Alicia said. �He�s due to start his final year at Smeltings. I
believe that he�s going to be working at the same place that his father is, but
I don�t know.�

Dumbledore nodded and took another sip of his tea.

�� And do you intend
on raising your child as a witch or wizard?�

She grinned at him, going a little pink.

�� I�m already pregnant,�
she told him. �I just found out today.�

Dumbledore stared at her and then smiled.

�� That�s wonderful,�
he said. �Congratulations.�

�� Thanks, Albus,�
she said. �I�m really excited about this as well. I haven�t told my husband but
he made it clear that he wasn�t against having children.�

�� Well I�m looking
forward to seeing him or her at Hogwarts.�

�� Thanks,� she said.
�Oh by the way, I�ve been reading something about the board

putting a cap on relationships
inside the school. Why are they doing this?�

Dumbledore sighed.

�� Alicia, they have
the right to do what they want. And if I want to keep my job then I have to do
what they want.�

Alicia turned a little red.

�� But that�s not
fair!� she said. �Hermione and Severus are married and they have every right to
be alone in the same room as me and Dudley do. I think its
fowl of them and I want it stopped.�

Dumbledore sensed right away that Alicia was getting angry.

�� Dear, I
understand, but I can�t do anything about it.�

Alicia got even redder.

�� Well then if you
won�t do anything then I will,� she snapped. �Good day to you.�

Dumbledore knew that his visit was over.

�� Hay, Harry, did
you hear that your cousin was in the Daily Prophet,� Ginny said to Harry.

Harry looked at her.

�� What did he do
this time, get bitten by a vampire?�

He laughed at his own joke, but then he stopped at the
serious look on her face.

�� Okay, what
happened to land him in the Daily Prophet?�

�� He married a witch
and not just any witch, Alicia Spinnet.�

�� W-What,� Harry said,
shocked at Ginny.

She handed it to him and he read it over. Suddenly he burst
out laughing.

�� And what�s so
funny?� she asked him.

�� Because he married
a witch and he�s the biggest witch hater ever.�

�� And how do you
know that?� she asked him.

�� Ginny, my dear, he
hated me,� he said. �His parents hated me and so I know that he�s going to hate
her.�

�� Y-You don�t think
he�s going to harm her, is he?�

Harry shook his head.

�� Trust me, Alicia
can take care of herself,� he said. �Let�s just hope
that Dudley can

handle her.�

Ginny hoped so as well.

Okay, folks here is my bit of news. I�m planning on writing a series of books
about a girl named Amber. She discovers that she comes from an ancient coven
called the Phoenix Coven. The first book The Phoenix Coven Book 1: The
Awakening is about her getting a trunk from her mother�s grandmother and after
much trouble gets it open.

There�s an evil coven called The
Darkheart Coven that wants her powers and will do anything to get them. Now I
don�t know when the book is going to come out because I�m just writing it but I�ve
got to get a grant and then find a publisher. But as soon as I have everything
worked out and a publishing date then I shall tell everyone. Thanks for reading
