It had been half an hour when Voldemort and Lily suddenly appeared. Lily took several potions out of her bag while Voldemort helped lift the large man up, “Make him swallow, Harry. Talk to him.”
“Fen? You need to wake up. Please. Wake up for me. I need you, Fen. Don’t die on me.” The werewolf grunted but opened his eyes. “Fenrir, I need you to swallow for me, okay?” Fenrir nodded.
Lily poured the potion down his throat and picked out another. Bit by bit he took the potions that she gave him. Soon Fenrir could move again, though he was sore. “Don’t move too much, Fenrir. You need rest.”
“We can’t take him home with us,” Voldemort shook his head, “he’s too fragile right now.”
“I’ll stay here with him,” Lily offered. “Once he’s rested for a couple days he’ll be fine.”
“I’m not leaving him,” Harry said. He smiled when Fenrir’s arms wrapped around him. “I’ll stay.”
Voldemort sighed. He hadn’t realized just how incredibly stubborn Harry was; just like himself. “Lily, let’s leave them here. We’ll get a room in town,” he suggested.
“I’d like Fenrir to be near us,” she turned to him, “he’ll need more help through the night.” Voldemort sighed. He wanted to give Harry some privacy but Lily was right, Fenrir’s health came first. He excused himself and went upstairs.
When he returned he spoke decisively, “There are now two bedrooms upstairs. Both are furnished. Harry and Fenrir will stay in one, we will stay in the other. Everyone happy?”
Harry looked up at Fenrir, who looked exhausted, “Yes. Come on, Fen. Let’s get you to bed.” With Voldemort’s help, they got him upstairs and laid him down in the bed. Harry unbuttoned his shirt and took it off, letting his eyes wander over the hairy chest. He removed Fenrir’s pants and then stripped down himself and climbed into bed with his lover, laying his head on his chest. Fenrir’s arms wrapped around him.
Voldemort and Lily retired, Lily telling him, “We need to get up at 4am to give him more.”
“Very well,” he answered, stripping down. “I love you,” he leaned over and kissed her.
“I love you too,” she smiled, leaning over to return the kiss. “We need to get some sleep, Voldemort.”
“I know,” he pulled her into his arms and lay down, closing his eyes.
Morning finally hit to find Voldemort exhausted. Lily came back into the bedroom they’d stayed in, “He just needs rest now. The worst of it is over.”
“Good, it was getting pretty bad,” Voldemort sat up in the bed, reaching for Lily, “come here, let me hold you.” Lily sat down on the bed and he pulled her into his arms. “How’s Harry?”
“He seems better now. What are you going to do about what happened to Fenrir?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well you’re a wanted man, Voldemort. You and your followers. Fenrir and the others will continue to be hunted.”
“What do you think I should do?”
“End the Death Eaters.”
He sighed. Voldemort knew this time would come. He kissed her, “At their graduation party I’ll end it. We’ll be in Germany, so I can’t be arrested.”
“You…” Lily suddenly realized that the Ministry would want him arrested and placed in Azkaban. “Very well,” she leaned up and kissed his cheek. “I love you; I don’t want to lose you.”
“You won’t,” he whispered. “Time to go home?”
“Yes, let’s just tell Harry. They both need sleep they were up most of the night. Fenrir in pain and Harry worried.”
“They weren’t the only ones up all night,” Voldemort pointed out, “we both were as well.”
Lily and Voldemort left after saying goodbye to Harry and Fenrir. Harry spent the day with Fenrir, watching over him. The werewolf slept the entire day, not waking up until dusk had fallen. Harry fed him and returned to his seat beside the bed. Salazar and Hermione came by later that night to check up on them and make Harry eat. “You should get some sleep, Harry,” Salazar said.
“I’m fine,” he fought a yawn.
Hermione shook her head, “We’ll stay here with Fenrir, you go get some sleep and take a shower.”
“No, I’m not leaving his side.”
“Harry, you need sleep. You’re no good to him exhausted.”
“But…”
“Harry,” Hermione crossed her arms, “go take a nap. Quit arguing with us. You need to sleep. Fenrir’s fine now. You just need to get some rest.”
“No, not until he’s feeling better.”
“Harry!”
Fenrir woke as the conversation grew louder. He yawned and stretched. He felt much better now. Harry saw him move and ran to his side. “I’m fine,” Fenrir said, keeping Harry back with an outstretched hand. “Why aren’t you getting some sleep? You need rest, Harry.”
“I’m fine,” Harry said.
Fenrir shook his head and looked Harry in the eye, “Go back to your dormitory and get some sleep. You need to sleep. I’m feeling much better. Now go back to your dorm.”
“Come on Harry, I’ll walk back with you,” Hermione offered.
“Go now,” Fenrir ordered. Harry sighed and did as he was told, putting on his robes and walking with Hermione out of the house.
Salazar helped Fenrir up, “I think I’m going to go to Germany, stay with your parents until your mother says I’m fully recovered.”
“I can Apparate with you,” Salazar offered.
“I’d appreciate it. Harry won’t be happy.”
“This is about you, not Harry. You need to be healthy,” Salazar helped him get dressed and soon they were ready. “Let’s go then,” they Disapparated.
When Salazar got back to Hogwarts Hermione was in their rooms. He entered and smiled at her. She pulled him down onto the couch. “You took him back to Germany?”
“Harry got Fenrir’s message, huh.”
“Yes. He was very upset. I told him this was about Fenrir, not about him. I think that made him focus.”
“Mom says he just needs a few more days of rest and then he should be good. Dad already dispatched some Death Eaters to the werewolf village. They’re taking care of the survivors. And he sent them to attack the Order in retaliation. Before this, he and the Death Eaters hadn’t done anything in months. The Order’s attack was unwarranted,” Salazar sighed, “it’s sickening.”
“I know, Salazar,” Hermione sat on his lap and laid her head against his, “I’m sorry. But he’s okay, right? And your dad can fix this.”
“I guess that’s true,” Salazar closed his eyes, caressing Hermione’s back gently with his hands.
“I love you,” she whispered.
“I love you too,” he breathed.
Fenrir healed fairly quickly, under Lily’s care. Voldemort gave him strict orders to stay at the mansion to get back his strength. Salazar was glad it was nearly the end of the school year. He wanted to get out of Hogwarts now. Hermione did too, she’d admitted. Ron had been walking around very cocky ever since the Order’s attack on the werewolves. Ginny admitted to her that Ron had told the Order about Fenrir’s presence at Hogwarts. The attack was to get him away from the castle and attempt to kill him. Hermione relayed this message to Voldemort, and the next day there were rumors around the castle of the disappearance of several major Order members. Hermione shuddered. Voldemort didn’t just get revenge; she was worried about Bill and Fleur, Remus and Tonks, Molly and Arthur, and Kingsley Shacklebolt. One thing was certain though. Ron looked terrified now. He jumped at every small noise and was staring at Harry and Salazar with fear in his eyes.
Fleur woke in a very beautiful bedroom. She didn’t know where she was, nor could she recall how she got here. In walked a very attractive young man. He looked to be around 24 years old. “What am I doing here?” Her thick accent came through and the young man smiled at her. He sat down on the end of the bed.
“Lord Voldemort captured you, your husband, and a few others. He asked me to keep you here, take care of you. You, he said, were to be free. He has no qualms with you, only the others.” The young man’s accent was certainly not English, but it sounded familiar to her.
“Where am I?”
“South Africa,” his answer came as no surprise. The minute he said it she knew. Her best friend in school had the same accent, and she had been from South Africa.
“Voldemort has people in South Africa?”
“He has allies,” the man nodded, “my name is Tau Motaung. I’m afraid he did not tell me yours.”
“Fleur Delacour,” she said. She stood up and he stood as well. Fleur stumbled when she tried to walk and he caught her.
“You’re probably still groggy. They drugged you. Let me help you.”
“Thank you. I just need to use the bathroom.” Tau lifted her up and she slipped her arms around his neck. He carried her to the bathroom and gently sat her down.
“I can leave, if you want. Just yell when you need me.”
“Thank you,” she smiled at him. A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, but Tau forced it away. He exited the room and contacted Voldemort.
“What?”
“There are eight people missing from the Order, Voldemort,” Lily frowned. “What did you do?”
“Revenge,” he shrugged. “And I only took seven, Lily.”
“Are they alive?”
“Yes. Actually, one of my men just contacted me. Fleur’s awake and seems alright with where she is.”
“Well you don’t see her as an enemy.”
“That’s true,” he nodded.
“What about the others?”
“Oh well they’re being offered options. I’m making a point, Lily. That’s all.”
“A dangerous point, Voldemort.”
“We’re fine, my love. I know what I’m doing.”
“I hope so.”
“You don’t attack my family and not get my wrath,” he said, pulling her into his arms. “If they went after you, World War 3 would erupt. And I would win, Lily. I do not allow anyone to harm my family without very dire consequences.”
“Fenrir’s not family.”
“He is in a relationship with our son. That makes him family.” Voldemort pulled away, “Surely you understand that, Lily?”
“I do,” she laid her head on his shoulder. “And I’m glad you’ve stepped up so much to be a father.”
“Of course I have,” he lifted her head to look him in the eye, “why would I give up what I wanted all along?” Lily forgot she was supposed to be mad at him. They had been apart for so long and he had changed into the man she would have left her husband for. She leaned in and kissed him hungrily.
Tau helped Fleur back to the bed and exited to get a potion to help her. Once she could walk around on her own, she wandered around the house with him. It was a beautiful, large mansion. The décor, she realized, was French. “Why French design?”
“The house came this way,” Tau said, “I prefer simpler things, but I’m not opposed to this. It’s comfortable.”
“And you’re a wizard?”
“I am the King of the wizarding population here.”
“King?”
“South Africa has had a long history of wizards, since before the colonization. My family has been in power for some time.”
“And the people are okay with that?”
“I think so. We have a parliament as well, and they speak for the people. I’m a figurehead, in many ways.”
“Interesting,” Fleur smiled. They exited to the backyard, where a large pool was. “Your home is very beautiful.”
“Reminds you of your own country?”
“It does,” she nodded. “I miss France, sometimes. This place feels like a part of home.”
He cocked his head toward the pool and allowed a smile to grace his features, “Want to take a dip?”
“I’d need a swimsuit.”
“Go into the house and transfigure some of my clothes into something for you. That’ll work fairly well.”
“I think it will,” she smiled and re-entered the house while Tau stripped down to his boxers and transfigured them into swim trunks.
He didn’t wait for Fleur, diving into the pool immediately. “Couldn’t wait?” He turned and his jaw dropped. Fleur was beyond hot, in Tau’s opinion. He felt an erection form as she dived into the pool and found he couldn’t speak. She reappeared just inches from him and smiled, “I see you like what you see,” she reached down and touched him.
Tau swallowed, “I’m supposed to be guarding you, not being turned on by you. Not…”
“Attracted to me?” Fleur wrapped her arms around his neck, “You could do all three. I wouldn’t tell. I like it here, and I like you. My relationship with Bill….we didn’t have one.”
“What?”
“Bill’s gay. He didn’t want his mother to know. He asked me to marry him to keep it a secret. I agreed because I needed the visa,” she shrugged. “I haven’t been able to be with a man for a very long time, Tau.”
“But…”
“What?”
“I just don’t know if I should,” he looked away from her wet bikini clad body.
“I think we should,” she whispered, taking a hold of his head and kissing him.
Fleur pulled away and Tau pushed her up against the wall of the pool before deepening the kiss, his hands moving over her body roughly. “I have to warn you; I haven’t been with anyone before.”
“You’re a virgin?”
“Yes,” he nodded. “That’s why I was thinking we shouldn’t.”
“Have you at least kissed a girl?”
“I just did,” he whispered.
Fleur’s eyes lit up, “I’ve always wanted a man who hasn’t experienced anyone else. Don’t worry, Tau. I’ll take very, very good care of you.”
“I don’t doubt it,” he leaned in and kissed her again. Fleur moaned into his mouth and let him control the intensity of the kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck once more and then wrapped her legs around his waist.
“Do you want to go inside?” She finally asked, breathing deeply from the intensity of their make out session.
“Probably a good idea,” he answered. He Disapparated with her.
They arrived upstairs in the bedroom. Fleur pushed him to the bed, yanking his shorts down in the process. Once he was on the bed nude she undressed herself slowly, making him watch. His erection was quite hard now. And big. Perhaps it was true what the rumors said about black men’s penises. She straddled him, then stroked him. She leaned down and kissed him, “I really like you, Tau.”
“I’m glad. I really like you too,” he smiled, “but…”
“What?”
“I have to be careful, being the King. I need to be sure you’d make a decent queen, Fleur.”
“How do you determine that?”
“Not through sex,” he shook his head. “I need to get to know you and what you’re like first.”
Fleur sighed. She’d thought he might satisfy her needs. But then, perhaps he was right. She didn’t know him, nor did he know her. He was very sweet and gentle, but that was all she knew about him. “Sounds like a good idea,” she nodded. “I have to say though, I really like your body. It’s a very nice view.”
“Mine is really nice too,” he smirked.
Lily watched Voldemort get up and walk to the bathroom. Only a few more weeks before their sons graduated. She was glad that the time had come for them to return. They’d both agreed to spend the summer with their parents before heading off to do what they wanted. She summoned a house elf, “Can you prepare dinner for us?”
“Yes madam,” the elf bowed and Disapparated immediately.
Voldemort exited to feel Lily settle into arms. “What?”
“I have to ask you a question and I don’t want to know the answer. But if I don’t ask you, I’ll hate myself.”
“Ask,” he pulled away from her to look her in the eye, “I’ll give you the truth.”
“What did you do to those people you kidnapped?”
“Fleur Delacour is in South Africa, with a friend of mine. He’s the king. A charming young man, to be sure; based on last reports she’s happy there, enjoying her time with him. He’s trying to get over being attracted to her. I try to tell him it isn’t a big deal,” Voldemort shrugged, “but he doesn’t listen to me. Not that I’m surprised. He wants to get to know her. Could be a good idea, he has powerful spells in his arsenal no one outside the royal family is permitted to know. Rumors abound that he knows the key to immortality.”
“So do you,” Lily smirked.
“True, but his is different,” Voldemort leaned in and kissed her, “anyway, let’s continue. Bill is unharmed. Fenrir learned the man is gay and bit him, turning him into a full werewolf. He now lives with Fenrir’s pack. By his own choice,” he added as Lily stared at him. “Tonks. Narcissa Malfoy wants her alive. She’s her niece, after all. We probed her for information, got some interesting things, and then returned her to her parents. She’s unharmed as well,” he sat down and continued, “Lupin is dead. He killed himself.”
“Why?”
“Fenrir told him about Harry and himself. And who Harry’s father really is. Lupin was so frustrated he killed himself.”
“What about the Weasleys?”
“Both are still in prison. Shacklebolt is being held separately, but also being punished. For now the Weasleys are unharmed because of our children.”
“What do Harry and Salazar have to do with the Weasleys?”
“Ginny is one of Harry’s best friends, and has been supportive of him and tried to be understanding. For her, and Bill, they remain alive and well.”
