“Mr. Potter Mr. Malfoy I would appreciate it if you would wait until after my classes finished to have your lovers quarrel. Now get back to work before I decide to fill you for the day and take 50 points from both houses!”
Both young men decided it was best not to point out that it was not a lover’s quarrel and spent the rest of the class glaring at one another.
Severus watched both young men glare at each other in silence he found himself pitting Potter. It was obvious that Harry still cared for Draco. Somewhere deep inside he knew that his nephew had been one to poison Hedwig. Though he understood that Draco’s pride was wounded he felt the boy went overboard when he poisoned Harry’s bird. It had become obvious to him that Harry Potter was not the spoiled Golden boy he had been led to believe by Dumbledore.
As the two young men packed up to leave the potions lab Severus heard the blonde bite out;
“I hate you Potter. Our relationship was never real I just wanted to fuck you. I’m bored of this six months is too long to wait for any piece of ass.”
Severus saw Harry stiffen. But rather than scream back to retort or start to cry as Severus had expected Harry squared his shoulders and held his head high.
“I thought so Draco. And that’s the reason I never bottomed for you. You say this six months we had together was a waste of time, but to me it never was. You see I foolishly trusted you with my heart so now I must find a way to pick up the pieces. By the way Draco just crushed any hopes of getting me back.”
When harry handed in the potion did Severus see the proud Gryffindor fighting back tears. And for the second time in as many classes Harry picked up his things and left before the bell.
