The next morning Harry and Hermione made their way to the bank. Once there harry filed his keep deeds with the bank and processed the ones to sell. He decided that he would sell the empty land his father left him, he had enough as it was already.
“I have to get back Harry. What are your plans for today?” Hermione asked as they walked out the bank. The waved as they passed a very happy Tom.
“I’m going to the Prophet to do an interview. I’m going to lay everything out and see what happens.”
“Best of luck Harry. Make sure you ask for someone other than Rita Skeeter.”
“Of course. Like I’d let that daffy woman write about me willingly.”
The teens laughed and went their separate ways. Harry arrived at the office of the daily Prophet and walked up to the front desk.
“Hello, I have a story for you.”
The receptionist looked up and gasped.
“Mister Potter! What kind of story?”
Harry shook his head.
“It’s too hard to explain. I’d like to tell it though to you best reporter who will write what I say word for word.”
The receptionist ran off. A few minutes later a young woman walked out.
“Hello Mister Potter. I’m Amelia Anderson. I hear you have an interesting story to tell?”
“A doozy Miss Anderson.”
“Right this way Mister Potter.”
She led him to a private room.
“Just so you know I have a scribing quill. It is charmed to write exactly what is said by both of us. I will provide you will a copy of the story before it is published to get your stamp of approval. Are you ready?”
“Yes.”
With that Harry launched into his story starting from the beginning. Amelia asked very few questions, mostly for more detail about certain topics, but didn’t stray from what Harry wanted to tell her. Harry told her about his family, his time at school, his friends, inheritance and what he planned to do now that he was an adult in the eyes of the Wizarding world. The two talked for several hours. Amelia couldn’t wrap her head around the story. She was left speechless by the end.
“How many people know this story?” she asked as she rolled up her parchment.
“Several know about my home life and only a few know about what has happened in the last few weeks.”
She grinned, “Well, this is one way to make a statement. I will have the story all written and ready for your review in a few days.”
“Thank you. Please send it to the Leaky Cauldron. That is where I am staying currently.”
The two shook hands and Harry left. When he returned to his inn room he found a letter from Malfoy sitting on his bed.
Harry,
Mother would like for you to start etiquette lessons on Monday. Father will go over your accounts with you afterwards and help you settle anything you haven’t already. Please arrive by 9am.
Draco.
Harry smiled. Things were looking up. Hermione was on his side and willing to work with Malfoy. His story was being told and he had several places he could call home if he wanted to. He frowned, the thoughts of the backlash he was going to get crossed his mind. Ron was going to be livid and he had no idea how Dumbledore was going to react. He sat down on his bed and gave a little sigh. He would cross that bridge when he got there. For now, he would gather up what he needed for Monday then get a good night’s sleep. He was going to need all the rest he could get before the storm he had started blew through.

Monday morning dawned bright and clear. Harry couldn’t wait for his first lessons with Mrs. Malfoy. He knew that he was going to need them and he really wanted to know what he was going to be called and how to sign important letters now that he owned businesses. He ate a quick breakfast and flooed to Malfoy Manor.
“Good Morning Harry.” He heard as he cleaned himself off.
“Oh, good morning Draco.” It felt strange calling his former enemy by his first name.
“How did things go with Granger?” Draco asked as he led Harry to the garden.
“Things went great. She agreed to help me and would even like to set up a meet with you to clear the air. She still has her reservations but is willing to try since you are.”
“I’m glad to hear that. Here we are.”
Harry smiled as he saw Narcissa sitting quietly with a full tea service chatting away with Lucius.
“Mister Potter I am so glad you could join us on such short notice. With your inheritance coming into play I wanted to get the basics down before you left for school. Now, please hand over you list of titles to Lucius so we can figure out what title to call you by.”
Harry handed over the list and took a seat. Lucius looked it over, his eyebrows almost disappearing into his hairline.
“This is quite impressive. You are a Lord. Your best course of action would be to go by Lord Potter since it is you last name and it conveys the magnitude of your stature. Personally, Lord doesn’t do you just since you are borderline royalty.”
“Really Lucius, don’t exaggerate.” Narcissa chided with a small smile.
“Between him inheriting half the school and all the Peverell lands and titles, he is damn close to being royalty.”
Narcissa and Draco’s heads snapped towards Harry.
“You own half the school?” Draco whispered.
“Yeah, I have some ideas on how to make it better that Hermione talked over with me the other night.”
“You own half the school.” Draco repeated.
Harry looked at him confused. He watched as a small smile spread across Draco’s face.
“Father, didn’t Ravenclaw marry Gryffindor and Hufflepuff to Slytherin?” Draco asked, his grin growing.
“I do believe you are correct Draco. I’ll send in an inquiry on Lord Potter’s behalf.”
“You can call me Harry.”
Lucius looked at him with a soft smile.
“Harry, to do so when we are just starting a new relationship would be incredibly rude, especially in public. Draco may call you Harry since you are of the same age and are friends, but you are greatly my superior in the class system.”
Harry was shocked.
“Well, now that we have that out of the way, Lucius, why don’t you look over Harry’s properties and what he has done so far organization wise while he, Draco, and I start our lessons?”
“With pleasure.”
Harry handed Lucius every list he had and the book he and Hermione had started.
“There are a few properties that have been put up for sale or gifted by my parents or myself listed. They are clearly marked on the lists.” Harry said as Lucius took all the paperwork.
“Noted. I will be in my study when you are finished for the day. We can talk then.” He gave a short bow and left Harry in the clutches of his lovely wife.
