Luna sat on the little bench in the small cell that she was living in for the last couple weeks alone. She looked at her hands, they were dirty and she wished that she’d be able to have a nice long shower or bath but she had a feeling that her captor wouldn’t allow that. Height had visited her earlier in the morning and told her that she had a buyer but that was the last time she’d seen him but not the last time she heard him. He’d been up above from where she was being held screaming and stomping around, for some reason it made her smile because it was almost a confirmation that Draco and Hermione had done something undermine him. Luna missed those two like mad and wondered how their relationship was going, if they were still fighting it or had possibly given in and were madly in love. She hoped they were in love, the wizarding world needed more love and on top of that the children those two would make…holy merlin, they would be amazing.
“Get up!” Height snapped as he walked back in to the basement “You’re leaving!”
“Where am I going?” Luna asked in her even, unaffected tone.
“Like I’m going to tell you” He snarled, pulling her against him and leered down at her “If you weren’t so dirty, I’d have you now”
“Then I’m lucky that I’m dirty” Luna answered, back in the war she would have held in her fear and she would have cowered but all the years spent putting up with Draco gave her a bit of a bite.
“Not for long” Height promised her “I am going to break that little serene bubble you live in” He gave a nasty smile “And I am going to enjoy that tight little body”
“If Voldemort couldn’t break me” Luna answered “Then I highly doubt you’ll be able to” He backhanded her and sneered down at her when she turned her head back to him with that annoying little serene smile back on her face even as her lip bled. Height grabbed her throat and dragged her out of the cell, out of the basement and out of the house that she was stored in and over to a carriage that was awaiting them.
“Voldemort” He hissed under his breath to her as they walked down the stairs “Was impotent, that’s why he never tried to have any fun with that pussy of yours”
“You were there?” Luna looked at him, cocking her head to the side “During the war, you were there?”
“I was in Jamaica during the second wizarding war” He snapped “I missed out on all the fun” He stopped her and pulled her in front of him.
“Voldemort wasn’t impotent” Luna told him, she’d seen the dark lord on more than one occasion in Malfoy Manor and heard about his relationship with Bellatrix “He fucked plenty of his female death eaters” She gave him a smirk worthy of her cousin “Maybe he just had better morals than you” Luna saw the look of outrage on his face and him raising his fist and then nothing else.
Luna wasn’t sure how long she’d been out when she opened her eyes, she was in the back of the carriage that she’d seen before Height had hit her. They were on a dirt road going through the woods, her eyes moved side to side, trying to get past the pain in her head and figure out where she was. These woods looked familiar, like she’d walked through them a few times or hunted for something deep with the depths. Her moving around got the attention of the two men that were sitting on the bench in front of her, they were the type of low ranking death eaters that Voldemort had employed but never trusted.
“Don’t you start screaming, girl” One of the men looked at her “Then again…I could give you something to scream about” His eyes danced over her chest and body.
“Yeah” Grunted the man next to him “And if she screams too loud I got something we can gag her with” He grabbed his crotch and they both laughed like it was the wittiest thing ever said. There was silence for a while before they started whispering to each other and then the carriage stopped and they got out.
They were in the middle of nowhere and Luna knew that this was not where they were supposed to be, one of the men pulled the back of the carriage down and grabbed her ankles. The man holding her dragged her down and then picked her up, flopping her down on to the grass one of the men knelt down and started to undo his pants with a leer. She knew what they were planning and also knew that there was nothing she could do about it without her magic because she was no match for their much bigger and bulkier sizes. As the man over her ripped open her top she turned her head to the side, squeezing her eyes closed and letting a few terrified tears roll out of the corners. She had promised herself that she wouldn’t cry no matter what they did to her but thinking about being brave in the face of rape and actually being brave at that point her two different things. He painfully squeezed her breasts, tweaking her nipples and laughing when she whimpered pitifully, hating herself for doing so.
“This is going to be fun” The man grunted in her ear “I bet you’ve got a tight pussy and I’m going to rip it apart” He laughed again.
The man was just about to pull his manhood out and Luna was preparing herself for the humiliating pain that she was about to receive but then the man slumped on to her. Luna heard another thump and opened her eyes to find herself staring in to the unseeing eyes of the second man that had been in the carriage. The first man was also staring sightlessly right at her face, her hands shook as she pushed the man off of her and on to his side to which he rolled on to his back. She pulled the tattered remains of her shirt together and prayed that the person who had killed the men about to rape her was going to be nicer than they had been. Lifting her eyes to the person that had found her and saved her.
“Oh my gods” Luna gasped as she looked at her savior.
“Everyone was always worried about my bat-bogey hex” Ginny smirked “No one ever wondered what my killing curses would look like”

Corrine was sitting in her apartment looking at a picture of her brother and let out a small sigh. The last time she saw Cody was a year ago when he’d gone off with some of his friends to investigate what everyone thought was the ‘empty’ Malfoy Manor. Rumor had been that after his time spent locked in his house Draco Malfoy had fled the country and Cody had always wanted to go inside so he and some friends decided that it was a good time to investigate it now that he was gone. Then Cody never came back, Corrine had to wait a whole day before anyone would even look for him, they searched the woods around the manor, the ruined grounds and finally the manor itself. Draco was still just as handsome as she remembered from her school days looking at him and trying to convince him to love her but at that moment he had looked so worn and weary as he opened the door. They questioned him but all he said was that some kid had been screwing around outside his house but he sent his house-elf out to scare him away, he ran in to the woods and that was the last time he saw him. He came out of his house, much to the horror of the Aurors, and helped search the woods surrounding the manor, all over the grounds and in any buildings he thought might hold interest to a child. It turned out that Cody was the only one that had the balls to go to Malfoy manor and the others had stayed home playing quidditch. Corrine wasn’t surprised that Cody was the only one to be brave enough to investigate the house alone, he was after all a Gryffindor which horrified her at first but now it made sense. She looked at the door when there was a knock, it had been a long time since she’d jumped up and hope to see her brother on the other side, she was pretty sure that he was dead. She swung the door open and her mouth dropped open, there was Draco on the other side, a sneer twisting his beautiful face.
“Malfoy” She said in surprise “What are you doing here?”
“Can I come in?” He asked coldly “I think we need to have a conversation”
“About what?” She asked, moving aside to allow him entrance to her apartment.
“Oh I don’t know” Draco answered, walking in to her living room and looking around the strangely decorated space “How you tried to get my good friend killed, about how you know that people are being bought and sold and just…turn away”
“What do you want?” Corrine hissed at him, she too was a bit horrified with herself knowing what she knew about what was going on and not doing something about it.
“How about…” He smirked “You get me all the information that Height has about his little side business and you do it within two days”
“Or?” She asked “You are aware that if I’m caught he’ll…kill me, right?”
“Not my problem” Draco said “You see, I was working on a really good plan and you fucked it up. Now you’re going to help me and well you are his assistant which means you can make sure that he is out of the office long enough to get the information that I need”
“What’s in it for me?” She asked “I really don’t give a shit about half-breeds, I don’t care about you, I don’t care about your friend…so, what’s in it for me”
“Figured you’d ask that” Draco said, leaning back against the wall.
“You going to kill me?” She laughed “Going to get rid of me, because I don’t care anymore. I have no one left so just do it already, you’ll be doing me a favor, Draco really you will be” Though there was a smile on her face there were tears in her eyes and hurt in her tone and even though Draco didn’t want to he felt for her because he knew her pain.
“No” He answered “I’m not going to kill you. If you do this, if you get the information that I need to bring him down I will make sure that everyone knows that you helped save countless lives” She nodded and lowered her gaze “And I will give you back your brother”
“Cody?!” Corrine’s eyes snapped up to his, a fire lighting behind those eyes “You have him, you son of a bitch!” She rushed at him, hitting his chest, arms and finally just sitting down on the chair near him and started crying “Why…why would you…a whole year?”
“He was trying to break in to my house” Draco said, there was a feeling of remorse climbing up his spine “I took action as I saw fit”
“Where did you keep him?!” Corrine growled “In a dungeon?!”
“No” He answered, pulling out a small jar from a pocket that she hadn’t seen before “I shrunk him and kept him in a jar in my closet”
“Oh my god” Corrine grabbed for the jar, when she couldn’t get it she looked at her tiny brother who was jumping up and down and waving his arms at her “Cody…I thought the worse but apparently I didn’t think of the worse thing possible!”
“You see what’s on the line” Draco said, pulling the jar back to himself and back in to his pocket “You know what to do and you’ve got two days to do it in, good luck, don’t fail…I’d hate to see what would happen to Cody if you do”
Corrine’s hands shook after he left, she was angry and scared at the same time. She held a lot of pull with Height now that she let him know just how much she actually knew about what he was doing, but it was all for show, she was just a kid pretending to be an adult. What Draco was demanding that she do, it was suicide if she was caught but it also held so much potential if it went through correctly. If she got the information that he wanted and he took Height down then she’d get her brother back, the only family she had left since her parents were killed in the war and she’d be seen as a hero but if she failed…well, that would mean death and what would happen to Cody if she was no longer there. Not that she was doing a very good job watching him anyway…she lost him for an entire year. What kind of person did that make her?

George sat in his apartment looking some old pictures that he had of his family. He missed when they’d been happy, when his mother had been a little overbearing but loved everyone, when his sister had been so good, loving and caring…when he hadn’t been so alone. He was always alone now, he had no one not really, sure Bill always told him to come over but he had his own family with kids and a wife. Charlie invited him to spend time with him but he felt so clingy when he spent time with him, he just missed Fred so much and each day without his best friend seemed pointless and to just get longer and longer until they all bled in to one another.
“Fred I wish you were here” George whispered to the picture held in his hands “If you were here I wouldn’t be so fucking involved in all the crazy shit that I am now”
He looked up when the door downstairs leading up to his apartment opened and slammed shut, it was happening. This was what he’d been afraid of, Height was coming for him, he hadn’t made it much of a secret that he was against the older man and now that Height was scared about what was going to happen to him and his seedy business he was a very dangerous man. The person who’d come up the stairs knocked on his door before slamming it open, he stood holding his wand out ready to fight Height to the death but it wasn’t him that came in. It was Rita Skeeter. She closed the door behind her and looked around the apartment as if searching for someone or maybe a listening device of some sort.
“You’re in danger” Rita spoke harshly, moving to the window and looking out “Height is on the move and he is pissed off”
“Why are you here?” George asked, looking at her wondering if maybe she was drunk or high on some potion, he’d had a small problem with potions at one point…merlin he missed that wonderful high he got.
“You’re in danger” She repeated “He’s on his way…we’ve got to go now”
Rita grabbed his stuff and threw it in a bag that she’d found. Fred’s old muggle backpack. She put the pictures in there, a couple of the books that had been on the table and ran in to his room, she was gone for several seconds and when she came back there were articles of clothing sticking out of the bag. George was following her movements with his eyes, he sighed heavily and stood up, realizing that she was waiting for him to stand and follow her out of the apartment. George walked up behind where she was standing in front of his door, she muttered something about leaving quickly and opened the door, they started down the steps but George walked in to her back, not noticing that she’d come to a dead stop.
“My, my Rita” Height said from about three steps below them “And to think that I thought I could trust you…but you know what they say, never trust the press”
“Move out of the way, Height” Rita hissed, George was still somewhat dumbfounded that she was here at all and helping him when he’d hardly ever spoken to her in the past “Let us past”
“Us” He repeated with a smirk “There’s an ‘us’ in this situation?” He laughed loudly “Don’t you think you’re a little old for him?”
“Let us leave here” Rita muttered.
Height looked at her with a sneer before he rushed her, his arms outstretched, hands curled in to claws and reaching for her throat with murder in his eyes. Rita jumped up a step to get out of his way, George reached out and straightened her as she’d started to tip to one side unused to the weight of Fred’s backpack. Height glared at her and made another jump at her, this time he caught her wrist and gave an impressive pull that almost toppled her but George was holding on to her still.
“Let go of her!” George snarled, he was attempting to hit the older mans hand but that was just what Height wanted.
As George made contact with his arm the Chief Warlock let go of the young reporter and gripped the redheads arm pulling him off his step, right past Rita who tried to grab him but missed. George was fighting with the older man, arms were everywhere, Rita was yelling at them, the stairwell was too small and moving was difficult. The blonde woman was getting angry and by the time there was metal glinting off the limited light from the naked muggle bulb she was less woman and more creature. She didn’t like losing control, that was when her fathers DNA overtook her and she always hurt someone. Everything seemed to happen all at once, the metal in Heights hand shot forward, George gasped and slumped forward a bit and Rita kicked Height square in the chest. She leapt forward and attacked him, hitting, clawing and even growling low in her throat, her slender hands wrapped around his throat, her usually light blue eyes were pure golden now. He’d stopped fighting back, the scent of blood hit her nose hard, metallic and sharp, disgusting and it made her stomach turn but it wasn’t Heights blood. Rita stopped attacking and turned to look at George who was sitting a few steps up holding his stomach where blood was pouring from and a knife was sticking out from him. He raised his eyes to hers and let out a shaky breath, forcing a smile on his face, trying to comfort the older woman as she had started to cry while looking at him.
“You’re going to be okay” Rita whispered, running her hand over his face “I’m going to apparate us to Malfoy Manor and Andromeda’s going to take care of you, I promise”
“It’s okay” George whispered back to her “It doesn’t really hurt that much anymore…and hey at least I’ll get to see Fred again” With another smile at her George laid his head back against the step above his head and closed his eyes, losing conscience. Rita gasped and looked at the mess around her, Height was lying at the bottom of the stairs bleeding and George was in front of her slowly bleeding to death and she was lost as to what to do. She’d heard Height say that he was going to kill George Weasley and all because of that little whore of an assistant telling him that he was the one who had taken Luna Lovegood. Rita had tried to save him but she was unable to, she gripped his hand and thought about the front door at Malfoy manor before apparating them both out of the stairwell.
A/N: I hope this chapter is good. So the timeline for this chapter, the Luna being taken was the day that Darren was supposed to be meeting Height, her getting rescued was the same day but later, Draco’s meeting with Corrine is the day after but Georges attack is the day after that. Corrine is desperate, Cody (her brother) is the only family she has left, she is not the same person that Draco remembers, war and the loss of her family changed her a lot. Corrine was just being a Slytherin at their best (worse?) and looking at the big picture and without knowing what Darren was planning for Height she saw that her boss was the best choice for her possible future because she was already so deeply involved with him and his businesses that she assumed he was unmovable. So a little insight to her, tell me what you think and I’m sorry we didn’t see Draco or Hermione in this chapter…what do you think about Luna’s savior? PLEASE REVIEW!!!!
