Summary: Harry Potter has never been classified as normal. Not in all the almost 18 years he's been alive, but when he's invited to attend a gathering for his kind his life is about to change even more.

-Chapter Thirteen-

Curled up on the couch in his own house, Harry idly flipped through the book on his lap that gave him information about his pregnancy. Apparently a full blooded Cat Sidhe was only pregnant for two months, a normal witch or wizard was pregnant for nine months. A combination of the two was pregnant for about four and a half months.

Stroking his stomach, Harry wondered how big he would get while carrying the baby.

Looking up from his book, Harry smiled as his mate walked into the room with a frustrated look on his face and dropped onto the couch beside him and pressed a kiss to his lips.

“Is your mother pestering you about the wedding?” Harry asked, setting the book on the coffee table.

“Yes...why can't you help me reign her in again?”

“Because your mother said that I shouldn't have any stress while I'm pregnant.” Harry said with a grin and a shrug.

“Yes, but I need your help to stand up to mother about this. It's only been a few days and she's driving me crazy with outrageous plans for the wedding.” Draco whined.

“Remember tell her we'll elope if you don't get to give an input, have final say actually, on any of the decisions she makes.”

Lying down, Draco placed his head in Harry's lap, one ear against the flat stomach and closed his eyes. “I promise to do that tomorrow. I have business in Diagon Alley tomorrow with my lawyer about that bug. Would you like to come with? Maybe we can look around and try to find some things.”

“Well I can tell you we're going to need to start buying baby items. We were thinking I'd be pregnant for nine months, but according to the books that showed up on the bookshelf when we got back I'll only be pregnant for four and a half months.”

“I still want to know how that happened. The elves said they didn't know how it got here, but I don't know how they could have missed someone placing it.”

“Well if you remember the letter from my mother that I told you about, she said this house was set up for Cat Sidhe's. Maybe the house was set up with more wards than I thought and it was spelled to have the book appear when a pregnant Cat Sidhe lived here. I honestly don't really care how it got here though since we need to know this information.”

“Very true. Where would you like to go and find baby things tomorrow?”

“I don't know. I don't know where any stores are that sell baby and maternity items.” Harry said, with a frown.

“Well for maternity clothes, and clothes after you give birth, we can go to Twilfitt and Tatting's. Mother and I go there for our clothes and robes. For the other...I'm not really sure. I guess we'll have to ask mother and see if she can recommend any place where we can pick up baby supplies.”

“If we ask you I bet you fifty galleons that she is going to tell us 'not to worry about it'.”

Snorting, Draco said, “That's a fools bet and I'm no fool, but I'm not going to allow her to pick out everything for our child. That is something that we should have the pleasure of doing.”

“I think your mother won't be able to do both even if she wanted to anyway.”

“Why's that?”

“Well she obviously wants us to marry before the baby is born and that means that she'd probably prefer the wedding to be before I start showing too much. If I'm only pregnant for four and a half months then I'll probably start showing in the next month or so.”

“Well that's a relief. That will be one less thing to argue with her about then.”

Laughing, Harry ran his fingers through Draco's hair causing him to push his head further into the hand.

“I still can't believe I'm pregnant. I mean, I knew it could happen, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon. I should have considering we never used protection.”

“Are you upset that you're pregnant now?” Draco asked, with a sad look in his eyes.

“No! No not at all. I'm excited and happy and I can't wait for our baby to be here so we can start our family.” Harry said, bending down to press a kiss to Draco's lips.

Smiling, Draco sat up and rubbed at Harry's stomach. “I'm glad we're here when we found out. I don't know how I would feel about you being pregnant at the gathering with all of those other dominants there, mated or not.”

“I wouldn't have gone to them.” Harry said with a frown.

“No I'm more worried that they would have tried to steal you. Your scent is intoxicating right now...I'm actually surprised I didn't notice it then.”

“Maybe it only just started. I mean I can only be a week maybe about a week and a half pregnant depending on when I got pregnant.”

“Maybe. Your book doesn't tell you anything about when scents change or how soon you can tell your pregnant?”

“No this only deals with information after you know your pregnant not about how to figure out if your pregnant.”

“I guess next time we'll have to keep track and see if we can notice when you become pregnant and keep notes of what's different about you.” Draco said.

“That would be a good idea. It would be something useful to keep in the family for any future Cat Sidhe's or even for others that don't know the signs of an early pregnancy.”

Opening his mouth to open, Draco was cut off by the dreaded sound of his mother's heels clicking on the floor as she walked into the room.

“Draco dear here you are. You just disappeared and I wasn't sure where you had gotten to. We still have the decorations and reception after the wedding to begin talking about.”

Groaning, Draco rubbed his eyes and said, “Mother we don't want anything over the top or crazy.”

“Well that is why I need your help. Not only the wedding we have the baby to plan for now and there is not a lot of time to plan for both.” She said.

“Narcissa if we give you full reign over the wedding will you allow us to have full reign over planning for the baby?” Harry asked, covering Draco's mouth.

“Oh well I suppose it would be okay if I only planned for the wedding. It would give me more time to focus on it.” She said.

“Um it won't give you too much. I'm going on the idea that you'll want us married before the baby comes correct?”

“Yes no baby is born out of wedlock.”

“Well then that gives you only about four months to plan since I'll only be pregnant for about four and a half months.” Harry admitted.

“Oh dear I had better start getting everything set up then because there is no way that you'll be willing to marry when you're very big and far into your pregnancy.” She said, looking as if she was ready to rush out of the room.

“Wait! Before you go can you give us any ideas of shops where we can go and buy baby things? We know where we can find clothes for me to wear, but we don't know any shops for baby supplies.” Harry said.

“You must go to Bump's Boutique. It's located in Diagon Alley, the exact location eludes me at the moment, but it's the best store to get all your baby items from. They even custom make bassinets and cribs if you don't find one you like there.”

“Thank you. And Narcissa, I'd appreciate it if you don't go too overboard for the wedding. I don't want the stress of having a large ceremony in front of hundreds of guests while I'm pregnant.” Harry said, rubbing his stomach to emphasize the pregnancy.

“Oh of course dear. I usually enjoy large ceremonies and parties, but if you want a small one then I'll try to plan a small one. We can always have a large one on one of your anniversaries and you can renew your vows and bond.” She said with a large smile, leaving the room.

“How...you...never mind.” Draco said, shaking his head. “If I knew that would work I would have had you do that hours ago.”

“I guess I just know how to deal with your mother better than you.” Harry said with a grin.

“You better grin about it now because that won't work when you aren't pregnant.”

“We'll see, but I think it will considering I'll be the one carrying any and all of her grandchildren.”

“You little minx you're going to blackmail my mother to get her to go easy on you or agree to do things your way.” Draco said as heat flared in his eyes.

“I wouldn't call it blackmail...”

“That's hot.” Draco said with a leer. “I'm taking you to bed and we're celebrating this victory against my mother.”

Grinning, Harry laughed as Draco scooped him up and practically ran to their bedroom.
