At Ginny's burial, James refused to even look at his father or younger siblings. He stood as far removed from his family as he could, knowing all of them had been on his father's side, not his mother's. And now look, she was dead and it was all their fault!

Not wanting to intrude on the Weasley family's burial, Draco and Scorpius waited at Lucius' grave in case Harry or Albus needed them. Draco remembered quite clearly the day his father was killed. It had been the day of the Final Battle and one of the newest Deatheaters had gotten a tad out of control when they entered Hogwarts. He had fired wildly, killing Lucius Malfoy and Rabastan Lestrange before Rodolphus Lestrange killed him. He looked at the grave before him and thought it was better that this had happened than he go back to Azkaban.

Both Malfoys saw James Potter standing removed from the rest of his family and both saw the dark looks he was throwing at his father and brother. Molly Weasley walked over to James and held open her arms. They saw him glare, turn on his heel, and storm away from his grandmother. Slowly, as if not believing what had happened, Molly lowered her arms. Immediately, the rest of her grandchildren were there, hugging her.

For the next week, Harry threw himself into the extra work that Luna needed done for the Quibbler. He'd quit at the Ministry after everything became incredibly routine. Now he just did whatever extra work Luna or one of the Weasleys asked of him. The Ministry paid him, Ron, Hermione, and the rest of the Order monthly for having refused to bury their heads in the sand and doing what needed to be done durning the War so he didn't really need a steady job.

Lily stayed at Malfoy Manor with her brother for that week as well, knowing he needed someone else other than Scorpius. Although, she found herself spending more time around the Malfoy Matriarch than Albus. By the time the week was out, she had a room set up for her that would be there everytime she wanted to come over.

Albus stayed in his room for the most part so that is where Severus found him next time he visited. "Albus? What have I missed?"

"My mum died." He stated simply.

"Yes, I know that. She's at Hogwarts on the other side as well. What happened to you though?" Severus wasn't quite sure when it had happened, but he'd managed to become attached to both Albus and Scorpius.

"She.... She told me she wished she'd never had children, that way she couldn't be disappointed." Instantly, Severus was furious. How dare she say such a thing about her own child?!

"Albus, I'll be back." He kept his voice level, and disappeared.

Severus reappeared at Hogwarts, where Lily was, as always, waiting for his return and news of her son. Seeing the fury in his eyes, she thought it best to wait to ask her questions.

"Where's Ginny?" He asked curtly, aware he was speaking to his best friend.

"She's in the Great Hall with Remus and Sirius, why?" Without answering, he strode to the Great Hall. Curious about what could have upset him so much, Lily followed.

"You evil, vile little bitch! How could you say something like that to your son?!" He demanded of the recently dead woman.

"Oi! Snape, shut it! She's having enough issues dealing with having just died. She's confused, leave her alone!" Sirius immeaditly jumped to her aide.

"Black, this does not concern you. I demand to know why you told your son you would rather have not had children so you wouldn't be disappointed!" He turned his fury to Ginny.

"What are you talking about, Severus?" Remus asked softly.

"She told Albus that she wished she'd never had children, that way she couldn't be disappointed. WHY?!" He roared the final word. Lily, in all the years she had known Severus, had never once heard him yell like that and was afraid herself, though his anger wasn't at her.

"Because it's true! That child is a disappointment! I refuse to be proud of him for betraying my family. He's friends with a Malfoy for the Gods' sake!" Ginny stood and glared at her old Potions Master. Content in the knowledge that they were dead and he couldn't harm her, Ginny was completly fearless.

What she didn't know, in this case, would hurt her. "You bitch!" Ginny went flying across the room and slammed into the wall. Instantly knowing she had underestimated his fury, Lily lay a hand on his arm.

"Who told you she said that?" She asked gently.

"Al, her son." He gritted out. He knew he wouldn't be able to return to Albus again today. He'd expelled far too much energy in his fury.

"How the hell did you do that?" She demanded.

"We can normally only do small bits of magic here, but if we've got enough of an emotion behind it, we can do big things. It takes a lot to get us to feel a strong enough emotion, so things like that are rare." Remus explained.

The more Lily thought about it, the angrier she got as well. She knew she wouldn't reach Severus' anger level and so wouldn't harm Ginny, but that was only because she'd never met her grandson. She would use her anger for a good thing.

"Severus, where are they?" She asked.

"Malfoy Manor." He answered. She nodded and disappeared.

Lily reappeared in the drawing room of Malfoy Manor. "...and then he just left. He looked really angry to me."

"He is." Lily spoke up, automatically knowing they were talking about Severus. "Come here, I only have a few minutes of this." She held open her arms.

"Mum?" Harry looked at her, eyes wide. Immeaditly he rushed into her open arms, forgetting she would be a ghost. To his surprise he was able to hug her. "How?" He pulled back.

Hugging both Albus and Lily, she answered, "With enough anger, I can become corporeal. It won't last much longer though." As she said this, she slowly started to fade and become translucent. "Damn, I was hoping that would've lasted longer." Turning to Harry, she explained herself. "I'm so sorry I haven't come to see you before now. I was, foolishly, content in the knowledge that you were safe. When Sirius told your father and me the truth, I was furious. But I couldn't get through. There's a barrier between our worlds that isn't easy to cross. It wasn't letting me through. Before you ask, I have no idea why Severus has been allowed through and we weren't."

"Severus told me about that once before." Narcissa threw in.

"Cissy? You look old, darling." Lily smiled.

"Shut it, Lil." Answering the questioning looks sent their way by Draco and Harry, Narcissa explained. "Severus wasn't her only Slytherin friend, you know. Though, we were far from best friends, we did work together quite well. And there was always a girl outside of our own circle we could each trust."

Lily stayed for a while longer, before admitting she had to go back and may not be able to return for a while.

Two days later, Rose came to Malfoy Manor. "Scor, Al, have you gotten your summer homework done yet?"

"Shit! I forgot all about it!" Scorpius jumped up from his lounging postion on Al's bed and ran into his own room.

"Great, now you've runined all my fun, Rosie. School doesn't even start for another... 3 weeks. There's still time." Al sighed.

A/N: I am SOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOO sorry this has taken me so long to get out. I haven't had a day off from work in nearly a month now. I do have this coming Monday and Tuesday off but I'll be out of town. I will do my very best to get more out. Also, this one is drawing to a close now so I'll be working on my new one soon.
