Extraterrestrial Tension

In the morning, Goku and Vegeta awoke before the rest of the dorm and began a slow makeout session, both wary of disturbing Draco was still fast asleep but no longer clutching Goku’s arm. Goku purred then murmured as he softly caressed the side of Vegeta’s face “Hey… Guess what Geta.”

Vegeta hummed then thought to him ‘What is it?’

Goku grinned “I can hear you my mate.” he kissed Vegeta then purred louder “I can hear you humming and I can hear you and Draco’s breath.”

Vegeta sighed happily then cupped his mates face and kissed him “I am so glad to hear that Kakarrot, I really am.” he sat up then stood up and stretched upwards, a sigh escaped his lips as he felt his back crack pleasantly. He made a small noise when Goku suddenly wrapped his arms around his stretching midsection then nuzzled his back. Vegeta let out a small purr at Goku’s affection then rubbed the muscled arms around him. “Come on, we promised that nurse to go back when your hearing was better.”

Goku sighed then turned Vegeta around and nuzzled his abs “Fine… ” Goku stood up then put his hands on his lower back and bent back a bit to pop his back. “Mmf, let’s get changed then head out.” he looked around for his clothes then pulled on his Hogwarts uniform and rolled up the sleeves.

Vegeta rubbed his eyes then got dressed as well and rolled up the sleeves like Goku had. He watched as Goku went over to Draco and gently shook him awake.

“Mm?” Draco rolled over on his back and yawned “Wha’s up?” he sat up then stretched a bit and rubbed his eyes.

Goku chuckled then whispered “Me and Vegeta are going down to visit the nurse then go to Breakfast. See you later okay?” he kissed Draco’s forehead and Draco just grunted sleepily in response. Draco crawled over to the edge of the bed, scooted over to his own bed then flopped face down onto it and rolled himself into his blankets like a burrito. Goku chuckled at Draco then went over to Vegeta who finished pulling on his shoes “Ready?” Vegeta nodded and put his hand on Goku’s shoulder. Goku put his fingers to his temple and the two of them IT’d to the hospital wing.

When they got there they went up to Poppy who was organizing her supplies Goku tapped her on the shoulder and grinned “Hi!”

Poppy let out a small yell of surprise then put a hand over her heart “Dear me! Don’t do that to an old lady!” she sighed then looked at Goku curiously “Got your hearing back boy?”

Goku nodded “Yup! Everything is crystal clear!”

Poppy nodded “Good good, let me run a few routine tests then i’ll let you go.”

Two minutes later and the tests are complete. Goku bows to the nurse “Thank you.”

Poppy nodded back at him “It’s no problem dear. Come back if your hearing gets a little funny and what not.”

Goku grinned “Sure thing!” he grabbed Vegeta’s arm and dragged him to the exit doors “Come on! I’m starving!” Vegeta rolled his eyes but let himself be dragged to breakfast.

When they went through the grand doors, Goku was ran into by Gohan who hugged him “Goku!”

Goku flailed and fell backwards onto the floor “OUF! G-Gohan! Calm down will yah?” he rubbed his chest when Gohan got off and offered his hand to held Goku get up. Goku took his hand then rubbed his chest again “Geez Gohan, I didn’t die!” he twitched then muttered “Again…” he shook his head then looked at his son.

Gohan sighed in relief “Oh Kami, I’m so glad you’re okay! Piccolo said that you went deaf!”

Goku held up his hands “Now now Gohan, please calm yourself! I’m fine!” he put his hands on his hips “Look at me, do I look hurt to you? I’m not even deaf anymore.”

Gohan nodded “Right, sorry. I overreacted.” he scratched the back of his head in the signature Son style and laughed “Well, good morning i guess hehe.”

Goku chuckled “Yes, good morning Gohan. Ima get some grub. I’m absolutely starving!”

Vegeta rolled his eyes “You’re always hungry Kakarrot.”

Goku giggled a bit “Yeah true. See you later Geta.” he then walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat down between Harry and Seamus then procedded to stuff his face.

Vegeta watched his mate go then sighed heavily. He glanced at Gohan who was watching him closely “What is it brat?”

Gohan got real close to Vegeta poked him in the chest then growled in a low voice only Vegeta could hear “If you ever make Father depressed like that again Vegeta… I will personally rip off your dick and make you eat it. Then, I will kill you. Got it?”

Vegeta felt like he swallowed his tongue at the half-breed’s statement. He knew he wasn’t going to get off easy for what he did but he wasn’t expecting it now. He gulped thickly then nodded “If I do it again, I’ll let you do it with no resistance.”

His answer must have been satisfactory to Gohan because the half-breed suddenly smiled “Great! Now go get something to eat.” he then turned and walked over to his table and sat next to Luna.

Vegeta blinked and stood there for a second in slight shock of what just happened the shook his head. He glanced at Goku who was talking to Harry and the rest of his Gryffindor friends. Vegeta sighed then went over to Piccolo who was up against the wall near the Slytherin table and drinking some water through a straw. He stood next to Piccolo then willed an apple over to him and took a bite of it.

Piccolo glanced at Vegeta from under his hood “I’m guessing Gohan threatened your life or manhood?” Vegeta grunted then took another bite of his apple. Piccolo snorted in amusement then took another sip of his water. He glanced over at Goku who was conversing with the Gryffindors “How are you two doing?”

Vegeta glanced up at the Namekian then back down at the ground “Fine, I’m… having regrets of how I treated him. I’m his mate; i should have never cut off the bond link that long. If i had known that I was slowly killing him… I…” he growled at himself “Damn! I am a fool for even doing it in the first place… The Kai’s should strike me down where I stand!”

Piccolo elbowed Vegeta’s shoulder then growled “Stop wallowing in self pity Vegeta. Goku has more reason to be upset than you. You should be glad that he is such a forgiving person.” He tapped his glass absently “If i had done such harm to Gohan… I would have been on my knees begging for forgiveness of my idiocy.” he growled at Vegeta “As you should be.”

Vegeta turned on him and snarled, his tail lashing back and forth “I will not go on my knees and beg like a dog!” he twitched as a flashback threatened to surface, but he shoved it back down.

Piccolo turned to him and smashed down his glass angrily “Damn your Saiyan stubbornness Vegeta!” he pointed at him and snarled “It was your fault he almost died! Can’t you act like you at least care?! Why in the name of King Yamma can you not forget about your pride for a second and realize the full extent of the damage you caused!?”

The two arguing aliens didn’t realize that the entire hall had gotten silent to listen to their shouting match. Goku and Gohan stood up quickly and stared at their mates in shock.

Vegeta smacked the Namekians finger from his face and roared “I will not have a weakling like you tell me what I should do! Now fuck off and leave me the Hell alone and keep your nose out of my business!” he snarled “Just leave me alone and get back to your bitch you Space Slug…” Vegeta reeled back and blinked… What the Hell did he just say…?

He didn’t get a chance to fully think about it because Piccolo lunged at him and started to punch his face. “How DARE you!?” Piccolo roared and continued to swing at the pinned Prince. Piccolo’s vision slowly turned red as he continued to rage.

Vegeta shuffled a bit and got enough room to push Piccolo away with his feet sending him into the air. Piccolo stopping in mid air and snarled at Vegeta, his logic side completely gone now. Vegeta growled back and jumped up after him and the two started to pound on each other in the air faster than the students and wizards could see. The only ones that could see what was going on was Gohan, Goku and Bardock. The rest of the wizards only heard snarling, blows being dealt and the shock waves of their punches making contact. Piccolo was suddenly thrown into the wall and was imbedded into it. He coughed and purple blood dripped down onto the floor. Somehow through this fight, his hood had managed to not be knocked off. He slowly pushed himself out of the wall then launched himself at Vegeta who was in a fighting stance a couple yards away. Vegeta had blood running down his nose and a few cuts here and there. They two were about to exchange blows again but Goku suddenly IT’d between them, caught their fists and held them.

Goku glared the both of them then said calmly but forcefully “You two need to calm down. Now. Or I will make you.” he stared them both down.

Vegeta and Piccolo panted softly then Vegeta nodded and took his hand back. Piccolo however was still furious and growled “No way in Hell! He has to pay for what he said!”

Vegeta growled then snapped “Look Namekian, I didn’t mean what I said! I… I got carried away!”

Piccolo narrowed his eyes and pulled his fist free of Goku’s grip. He crossed his arms and wiped his mouth that was still dripping blood. “Bull...shit...” he said with vemon in his voice.

Goku sighed then rubbed the bridge of his nose. “I didn’t want to do this guys but you leave me no choice.” The two aliens didn’t have a choice to ask what he meant because Goku quickly grabbed their heads and smashed them together, effectively knocking them out. He then grabbed the back of their shirts and floated down to Dumbledore and the other stunned teachers. He bowed respectfully “Please forgive them Headmaster. I will sort them out. This seems to be a personal matter.” he flew over to Gohan and said “Come on, I think you’ll be needed to help control Piccolo.”

Gohan nodded and flew up a bit “Right,” he looked warily at the limp hooded form of his mate and the two conscious Saiyans flew out of the hall.

Harry blinked in confusion then looked at an equally shocked and confused Ron and Hermione “Um… What… What just happened?”

Hermione opened her mouth, closed it then opened it again “Uh… I-I’m not sure…?” he looked at Harry “D-Did you see how fast they were moving?”

Ron choked “What about how Goku either moved faster than light or teleported!?”

Harry chewed on his tongue “Well, me and Mione already knew that about Goku, but we didn’t know how fast the others were.”

Seamus finally came back to reality “T-That was incredible… Bloody brilliant! No wonder Goku beat that dragon so easily!”

Dean nodded in agreement “That was really amazing! Unreal even!”

Harry slumped in his chair and looked around as the other students came out of their shock as well.

Draco blinked as he came back to reality and looked around. He gritted his teeth “God damn it Vegeta…” he shook his head then pushed away his meal; he wasn’t hungry anymore.

Goku dropped Vegeta and Piccolo down in the middle of the Quidditch field and landed with his arms crossed. He leaned down and flicked them both on the forehead. They both yelped then rubbed their heads.

“Kami damn it Goku!” growled Piccolo, pulled off his hood and rubbed his head

Vegeta squeezed his eyes shut as the world started to spin a little “Fuck… That really hurt Kakarrot!”

Goku narrowed his eyes “Good, it was supposed to hurt!” he flicked his tail in annoyance “You guys are acting like children! And when even I have to step in, it’s gone too far!”

Piccolo sat cross-legged and rubbed his head “Forgive me Goku… I really don’t know what got into me.” He looked up at his mate then back at Goku “It felt like when me and you fought over Gohan last year. An overwhelming urge to protect.”

Goku nodded “I understand Piccolo, I’m not going to let you off easy but I forgive you since I understand what you mean.” he glared down at Vegeta was was also sitting cross-legged but looking to the left with a scowl on his lips and his brow furrowed. Goku knelt down and looked intently at the Prince “Vegeta,” Vegeta didn’t respond but his tail tightened around his waist. Goku growled then punched the ground in front of him hard enough to make the ground tremor “Vegeta! Look at me damn it!”

Vegeta flinched then slowly looked at Goku. Vegeta’s face was unreadable s he said “What.”

Goku growled again “Vegeta, don’t pull that crap with me. Can’t you not act like a total ass for once and talk normally without me having to yell at you?”

Vegeta growled lowly in his throat the huffed in defeat “Fine… What do you want to talk about?”

Goku sat down on the grass in front of him “Vegeta, what did you say to Piccolo to make him angry at you?”

Vegeta’s face dropped and for once in his life it was the look of shame “I… I said things i’d rather not repeat… I really don’t know why i said those things.” he looked over at Piccolo “Nam-” he paused then took a deep breath “Piccolo, I really am sorry for what I said. I honestly don’t know why I said what I did. I was talking like the old me, and for that I am… sorry…” his tail and eye twitched at the uncomfortable word.

Piccolo glared then growled in his throat at Vegeta. Gohan sighed then went over to Piccolo and sat down next to him “Piccolo, Love, you need to remember who you’re being angry with. He’s Vegeta, a warrior Prince. You need to remember who he’s been around for most of his childhood. It’s going to be hard for him to adjust to not being a total jack ass.” he looked at Vegeta “No offence.”

Vegeta snorted “Some taken,”

Gohan rolled his eyes then looked at Goku who was looking intently at Vegeta. Goku shook his head “Look, if you and I need to talk, we can talk. You don’t need to take things out on other people.”

Vegeta sighed “I know,” he stood up then looked away “I...I’ll see you guys later. I need some time time to think.” he glanced at Goku and nodded to him then flew up and blasted off to the Castle rooftop.

Goku watched him go then sighed. He looked over at Piccolo “You okay?”

Piccolo nodded “I’ll be fine. He didn't hurt me that bad.” he licked his split lip and the blood that was now slowing.

Gohan crawled behind him and put his arms around Piccolos neck then kissed a cut on his cheek and licked the purple blood below the cut “I'm glad you two didn't get too far. The teachers and students looked scared of you guys.”

Piccolo sighed then stroked the side of Gohan’s face “Please forgive my unorthodox behavior. I will talk with the Headmaster later at an opportune time.”

Gohan purred “Already forgiven my mate.” he nuzzled Piccolo then looked at Goku “So… Have you given any thought about what the clue might be?”

Goku huffed “Well, It’s not like I can just open it up and listen to it over and over to try and find a hidden message.”

“Do you remember what the inside of the egg looks like?” asked Piccolo.

Goku furrowed his brow in thought “Uh… Let me think…” he tapped his chin “Well… From what I can remember before I blacked out, it kind of reminded me of water inside a glass cup. Like, you could see the stuff inside glowing and moving around like it was floating water.”

Piccolo hummed “Water hm?” he looked at Gohan who had his chin on his shoulder “Any thoughts?”

Gohan blinked then shook his head “Not right now no.” he stood up “I’ll go do some research in the library. Wanna come Pic? Otousan?”

Goku shrugged “Sure,” he then stood up.

Piccolo nodded and stood as well “I might as well.” the three of them flew off to the school and went into the library; it was a free day for them anyway so no classes to worry about.

While in the library, Gohan wander off to look at more books in the back while Goku and Piccolo looked through the ones he picked out for them; 7 books total so far on anything water related. He looked at some higher up ones and was about to reach for one when a hand went under his own and plucked out the book. Gohan looked over to his left and saw Victor Krum holding the book and looking at it.

“Vater Myths und Legends? Zoundz enterezting.” he smiled at Gohan and handed him the book “Jou vat zis, jes?”

Gohan blinked stupidly at him then felt a small blush creep onto his face at their closeness “Oh, um, yes. Thank you.” he took the book then scratched the back of his head “So um, how is your progress with the egg clue?”

Victor hummed thoughtfully “Mmm, stell vorking on et. I tik I am close zough.” he looked at the book then back up at Gohan “I too zink somezing vater related." he smiled toothily "Not juzt beauteful, but zmart az vell hm?” he winked then turned and walked away.

Gohan watched Victor leave then shook his head and went back to looking over the shelf. He came back to the table with three more books and started to read through them.
