Chapter 12: Summer Vacation 2 Part 3: Lost Islands Old Troubles

It had been a simple plan really. Horus was going to take a plane to Japan having had to stay with the Halliwells until after they dealt with the problem at hand. It should have been simple except the pilot went over a dead zone. A region where most modern technology had issues at least this far up.

Horus and most of the crew and passengers survived the plane ride including the stewardesses that had been so accommodating earlier. He had been dozing and the self preservation instincts had kicked in. It is amazing what a large amount of magic can do in preventing a fatal crash. If he had not been sleeping he probably could have used a flight spell to get the plane to Japan. However, he had ended up separated from the passengers and the crew had been away from him at the time as they let him sleep off the exhaustion he had gotten. He managed to broadcast that he was well and not to worry just that an adventure had decided to side track him and he should be back with them in a week, two at the most.

So he ended up floating away from the plane as he had subconsciously kept them safe. Still he had ended up having to swim to land in the middle of the Pacific. He had worse for training it should only be a few dozen miles at the most considering current and other factors. His dad would never let him waste training so he channeled energy into a barrier that would filter air out of water and sunk down a bit and swam along the bottom. He felt the pressure work like an improved toughness training as it forced his muscles to work against the resistance while dealing with the added weight of the water.

He washed up in a small country by the name of Wave. He had asked where a major village was in the area. They thought he had meant ninja village and directed him to Konoha. He arrived in time to see something called the Chunnin Exams was occurring. The gate guards had only asked him where he was from and had shown little skills. Horus said he was on behalf of those even the Kages had to answer to.

So here Horus was in a ninja village surrounded by incompetent idiots who wore forehead protectors similar to his but with their own symbol. He was hungry and did not want to waste what little money he had taken from the odd bandits he had to slaughter on his way here. They were weak and of no consideration to him.

He found himself at a ramen stand. He loved ramen due to its salty taste. Also as a mystic he had no fear of salt being detrimental to his health. One of the joys of a mystic core and its god like regeneration. Some days he wondered if a sorcerer death dual had been the source for Highlander.

So as he loved the taste and there was no physical detriment, he ordered a few bowls of ramen or more accurately a few dozen bowls when he found out how cheep it was. He was savoring his bowls when a ninja dressed in bright orange showed up complaining about a perverted sensei throwing him off a cliff to learn how to gather enough chakra to summon. Horus thought back and remembered that chakra was the combination of physical and mental energies. It was a lesser form of mystical energy which added spiritual or soul energy to the mix. The kid was interesting or at least his aura was. He showed a vast amount of untrained potential and immediately knew that the Order would be displeased if he was not recruited. He may be in the past on a lost continent he thought might be a lost proving ground, but that was no reason to be lazy. He heard his name was Naruto so he decided to introduce himself.

"So, Uzumaki Naruto, ninja of Konoha why is it that you are complaining when you could be training. One does not become as strong and skilled as you dream to be without training. So how about I give you a little training if it will cease your complaints Hmm ..." Horus told him. "Besides I want to know if you can actually handle the training, most of the ninja I have rum across are weaklings. Anything you can do that will prove you are worthy, Genin?"

Naruto's whole attitude changed. 'Someone wanted to train me!' he thought. 'Wait a minute he challenged me!'

"Uzumaki Naruto does not back down. Of course I will prove myself," Naruto said. "Kage Bushin."

"So a doppelganger technique solid and just as strong as you," Horus said as he looked at the replications. "You have not reinforced them with Chakra, kid. They will vanish after a single hit and they don't explode. You could have done better. Anything else or are you wasting my time?"

Naruto closed his eyes to remember the sensation when Kyuubi's chakra filled him. Soon his belly grew hot and the warmth spreading to his entire body. This was it! The sensation he felt! He opened his eyes and found himself covered by red chakra instead of his normal blue chakra. He bit his thumb and started to make seals.

"KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU!" his palm connected with the earth and the seals spread on the ground before a loud sound and smoke filled the area within the radius of 100 meters. Naruto felt the ground beneath him shake and he was raised to the sky with it. When the smoke was clear a huge frog wielding a sword on its hip and a pipe in its mouth was seen. Naruto grinned.

"Impressive to be able to summon the Toad Boss at your age," Horus said. "Or it would be if you had used your own Chakra. Gamabunta a pleasure to meet you."

"Who are you? Kid why did you summon me to fight this guy? There is no danger here," the toad boss said.

"He summoned you to prove to me that he had some ability so I would train him," Horus said. "Why would I need to show my power to a weak little animus (Animal Spirit) like yourself? It is not like you're a Demon I need to deal with so there is no reason to bother."

"How dare you insult me I am the Toad Boss!" Gamabunta bellowed.

"A giant toad to weak to kill a Skrill or Rian," Horus said sarcastically. "Like that is very impressive."

"How do you know about them? No shinobi remembers them," Gamabunta said in a questioning tone.

"I hunt them of course. One does not join the Demon Hunter Squads and not kill demons. Besides I have several dozen Rian Queens to my credit. Want to see their stingers?" Horus asked him.

"Impressive," Gamabunta acknowledged. "So you're interested in the kid?"

"He shows potential. When I am done he will have enough Chakra and control to summon you without his tenant's rent. You have no problem with this of course, do you Gamabunta?"

"No, the kid needs a good trainer and Jiraiya seems to be unable to give him the attention he needs," the toad admitted. "It is not like you would make him a missing ninja or anything."

"Technically, that is true as the Kages must bow to the orders of Kage-sama. The alternative would be disastrous for the Elemental Countries," Horus said. "Of course you are aware of that."

"Train with him brat," Gamabunta said. "He has a lot he can teach you."

"Sure thing boss," Naruto said. "Guess I should call you sensei huh?"

"Yep, kid," Horus said. "Now hurry up we have training to do."

They had been walking back to the village center when Naruto noticed the symbol on Horus's forehead protector. He had never heard of a village with that symbol. Being the impulsive lad he was he shouted out, "So where are you from sensei? I don't recognize the symbol."

"That is, complicated Naruto-san, as to where my allegiances lie would be most displeased that our missing ninja dared to found villages after running like cowards. Then again that was there ancestors so I don't think they would send our ANBU. They are quite vicious after all," Horus said.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked confused. "Konoha was founded by brave ninja who wanted a place to live?"

"That like most things is not the whole truth. The problem is that Konoha, like most ninja villages, was founded by the descendants of cowards who ran instead of fighting. That they had troubles with such low level demons as they have shows that most of the training methods have been too soft," Horus said. "ANBU back home would have been able to destroy Kyuubi let alone the Ichubi sand rat that plagued the Wind Country. Those rumors of one of the villages buying a stolen child to gain its bloodline limit (Kekkei Genkai) would make most seek to demonstrate why we do not tolerate such behavior. Those directly responsible were made examples of. Some still would be most upset that imperfect mockeries of prized bloodline limits exist here."

"Bloodline limits like the Uchiha and Hyuuga?" Naruto asked.

"Those two are pale reflections of half of the original blood line. The Dojutsu (Eye Skill) known as the Shingan (Dead Sight or Dead Eyes)," Horus said. "The Sharingan (Prediction Eye) or the Byakugan (Evil Eye) are able to not even do half of what that eye can do."

"So what can the Shingan do?" Naruto asked his new teacher wondering why he was saying so much.

"You wonder why I am saying so much. Yes your face gave you away that is something we will work on. Besides the simple genjutsu around us prevents even genjutsu specialists or Sharingan from piercing it and hearing or seeing what we are talking about. The Shingan has a telltale display when it is in use unless covered in a very subtle genjutsu. Then again all Dojutsu have the same weakness. That is instead of the black eyes turning into Black commas on Red eyes of the Sharingan, the Shingan is red dots on a black eye. It allows one to see weak spots in the opponent, where one can easily kill the opponent. With time one can learn to see how to cripple or incapacitate instead of to kill. It also allows one to predict how the opponent will move as it shows the weaknesses in their attacks. If a taijutsu expert had the Shingan they would be only stoppable by massive unavoidable jutsus. Unlike other bloodline limits it can be shared completely through a simple ceremony. However the priorities are to get you up to speed. One of the three things I cannot stand is people wasting their potential," Horus told him.

"What are the others sensei? Hey! You never introduced yourself," Naruto said as they left the Ichiraku Ramen Bar.

"I know that Naruto-kun. I might as well introduce myself then. Journeyman Horus of the Order of Shadows, Master of the Akuma Kami Ken Ryu, and your current teacher. As for my other two major dislikes. I dislike people threatening my friends or destroying my stuff," Horus said. "I loath perverts who peep on my girlfriends or grope them. The last one is learning how many times his hand must be broken and reset from annoying me."

"Girlfriends? As in plural? How can you not call yourself a pervert then?" Naruto asked confused. 'I don't want another perverted sensei,' he thought. 'Why is it that the perverts are considered powerful? I mean the Old Man, the pervert Hermit and even Kakashi-sensei are powerful and yet perverts.'

"Perverts are those that do unwanted actions toward girls. Besides perverts are those who peek and grope because they can only get prostitutes and cannot get girlfriends," Horus said. "Besides it is much nicer to bathe with a girl than to peep on them in the bath."

"So what's the first thing you're going to teach me, huh?" Naruto bounced as saying. "Some cool jutsu to kick every body's ass?"

"No," Horus said. "You would kill yourself with most of them. Even the summoning you learned does not use as much chakra as what I intend to teach you. You have of course mastered tree climbing and water walking?"

"Of course I have!" Naruto shouted offended. 'What does he think I am an academy student?' he thought. 'Still Kakashi-sensei only taught tree climbing. Was he ever going to teach us water walking? Still something else the Pervert Hermit taught me that sensei did not.'

"So we move on from there with chakra strength and control training. There is only one jutsu in this village's history that is similar and it was invented by the Yondaime Ho-Kage. His Rasengan (Spiral Shot) comes close to the technique I will teach you. First we need some supplies for your training. I have noticed the way they look at you kid like you are a demon or something. They did mutter that a few times, but you don't feel like a demon so I think their idiots. They better not try to rip me off with you with me or I will be most displeased," Horus said. 'If it did not draw attention I would vent on the bastards,' he thought.

'He knows they hate me,' Naruto thought. 'Despite that he is still willing to train me. Wait a minute...' His head snapped to look at his new sensei... "What do you mean I don't feel like a demon?" Naruto asked suddenly.

"Oh that. I said I'm a Master of the Akuma Kami Ken Ryu. The style was designed to deal with True Demons. That is ones that would be able to eat the ones that were running around here in a single gulp. Problem is it makes most ninja seem like a Jounin facing Genin who have been beat to an inch of their lives and have no chakra reserves to speak of," Horus said. He looked at Naruto deeply in his eyes making sure that he could tell what he was thinking. "Promise me Naruto that you will only use my lessons to protect those precious to you and not to crush those that have hurt you. It is far better to crush their dreams than to kill them and far more satisfying to see them cry. You will see that it is better to have them crushed by achieving your dream than to break them physically. This is as you have learned from experience that emotional wounds run deep and are harder to heal than the physical."

"I promise sensei on my nindo I will not misuse what you will teach me," Naruto said solemnly. "So what are we getting?"

"Weights and resistance training. If you cannot be hit, you cannot be beat. If you hit and cause no damage, all the effort to achieve a hit was wasted. By the time I am done you will be in a far better shape than currently. Oh expect your bills for Ramen to go up. You will be hungrier than normal. Now lets see what this store has hmm?" Horus told him.

They entered the store a ninja supply shop and the black haired brown eyed cashier looked up with a grin until he noticed Naruto. "Damn demon-brat," he whispered.

"So you refuse to sell to me because of my student then? Normally one would report this to the Ho-Kage; however I am not in a good mood. You will get the supplies I want at a reasonable price or you will wish Ibiki-san had you to torture. Do you understand? Shake your head or I will be most displeased. Don't even think that any of Konoha's Ninja would try to save you. That would be suicide. My mission here is to judge this village and if found lacking destroy all traces of you missing ninja bastards. Is that clear? Konoha has about as much legitimacy as if an S-class missing ninja founded it!" Horus told the foolish store clerk while directing focused killing intent.

The store clerk was shocked. This Ninja viewed them as a village of missing ninja. What would his response be? He had used a very controlled and directed killing intent. He had to be powerful if he promised to destroy the Village.

"Of course sir right away," the clerk squeaked out as he went to do his job.

"Spread the word that anyone who treats my student with a lack of respect will pay. Also pass the word to the Hyuuga that they better have learned something from their failure that they seem to be so proud of," Horus said.

The clerk nodded and made sure that everything was of the best quality and that he had the order quickly and at a reasonable price.

"Be grateful that you are not under my direct command or you would have suffered for such behavior to a comrade," Horus told him slowly. "I make Ibiki-san seem nice when dealing with vermin like yourself. Next time I will use anyone that acts like you did to teach my student about lethal genjutsu."

They left with a shocked clerk behind them. As soon as they got a bit away he turned to Naruto and said, "Well, Naruto, it is time to put your training equipment on."

Naruto had placed the equipment on and promptly fell to the ground unable to move. He was about to channel chakra to allow him to lift the weight that was attempting to crush him. Horus coughed to get his attention.

"Don't use your chakra. The training would be more grueling if you used chakra. The gear will use it against you," Horus told him causing him to grown. "Don't worry soon you will be doing tree climbing and water walking with the gear on. I have what a week to get you to handle the jutsus I want to teach you. That should be enough to get you ready. While you struggle I will explain the technique simply."

"I hate you," Naruto gritted out as he was being crushed from the weights.

"Don't worry. When I am done you will think the hate you feel now as a slight dislike? I said I would train you, not that I would baby you like the Uchiha has been," Horus said. "If you want to beat him, you must train harder. This program does not have failures. You either pass and live or you die. Make your choice."

"This hurts worse than the seal the snake freak put on me," Naruto gritted out.

"Hmm... Did the Snake freak have long black hair and the yellow snakelike eyes?" Horus asked. Naruto nodded at the description. "Orochimaru huh, that might be a problem at your current level. Just so you know I trained a company of civilians to near Jounin level in a few weeks with breaks. You don't get brakes and I expect you to do well in the finals is that understood?" Horus told him.

"Yes, sensei, I will not fail that is not my ninja way," Naruto said.

"Good. I don't like quitters. By the way there is no way that you will be dressed in that thing you are wearing for the finals you will look like a proper ninja," Horus said. "Sadly, that means I will have to pay for your knew outfit."

"Now the basis of the technique is circulating chakra," Horus said. "This technique requires more chakra control than you currently have. Now the tricky part is separating the chakra into many blades. Think about spinning a shuriken with many curved blades. Ok now i want you to go up the tree with the weights on."

Naruto barely got five feet up when he fell and smacked the ground leaving a crater.

"You have to not let your chakra leak or the trainers will increase the resistance and weight," Horus said. "Try again student. If you get it by dinner I will treat you to Ramen understood?"

"Yes Sensei," Naruto said as he redoubled his efforts. 'I will get even by draining your wallet for Ramen,' Naruto thought.

"AAAAAAAH!" he screamed as he fell again.

"If you don't get it by dinner, you will be most miserable," Horus said.

"Why aren't you doing this sensei," Naruto asked.

"First Tenet kid," Horus said. "Thou shalt not train in something thou hast not undergone. I have done this already, but since you insist..."

Naruto watched as his sensei walked up and down the tree and then humiliated him by doing handstands up the tree. Then walking down the tree with a finger clinging to the tree. Naruto just looked shocked at what he saw.

"What have I got myself into?" Naruto wondered.

"Get up student," Horus said. "You really don't want to be introduced to the Second through Fourth Tenets." He through a pair of joined kunai to the ground and back flipped to land balanced on the point of the kunai with his finger and resting on it without being pierced. "Or do you want to try something harder?"

Naruto just groaned and started up the tree. 'Why do I think that the Pervert Sennin was a much easier teacher,' he thought. 'Still being able to balance on a kunai has potential. Could I block a kunai with a shield of chakra?'

Their training continued and Naruto learned that even the Pervert Sennin was not as tough a task master as his new sensei. He ached and it was barely thanks to the Kyuubi's chakra that he made it through the training in one piece.

"So, Naruto, why do you feel like a fox? It almost feels like a nine tailed Kitsune and Auntie Inari would have told me about you if that was the case," Horus told him.

Naruto looked back and forth before saying, "I can't tell you sensei it is a village secret."

Naruto shook his head as Kyuubi bellowed to tell him that they did not want Inari-sama to be displeased.

"So, you are not allowed to tell me then. Let's look at the facts. One the villagers call you a demon. Two you were born during the Kyuubi attack. Three they blame you for Kyuubi's actions. So what does that add up to? Let's add in that the Yondaime invoked Shinigami and that his mark is upon you," Horus said as he gestured with his hand counting out the facts before he brought his hand to his forehead. "Please don't tell me they did what I think they did."

Naruto merely nodded his head. He had just let an S-class village secret pass. Not like his sensei would have not been able to discover it. He was a better tactician than Shikamaru so it was a given that he would find out.

"Naruto don't take this as being rude, but I need to talk to your tenant. This will feel a bit strange," Horus said as his eyes became the Shingan. "Don't worry I am not going to kill you this just allows me to manipulate even Shinigami's wards. Ask your tenant how later."

Suddenly, Naruto found himself in a room in his mind. Unlike before, there was a comfortable couch with a screen showing what he was seeing.

"So Kyuubi, how did you get contained in a human? Auntie would be displeased that you seem to have forgotten your mission. Now why did you attack Konoha, that was not your objective," Horus said.

"Manda's summoner tried to bind me to his will. When he failed because of Inari-hime's wards he trapped me in a genjutsu and released me in Konoha's direction. Do you think Inari-hime will be upset with me?" Kyuubi asked.

"Auntie will not be upset merely disappointed with you. You were to keep the others in line. Allowing the Fire Snake Lord's summoner to use you like that is bad. Be lucky that Empress of Serpents will be more annoyed at Manda than you. She might even be happy to vent on her rebellious lord. If that does not work I can ask the Princess to interfere. Manda would not be able to side against either of them," Horus said. "So? Why are you making the kids life miserable?"

"He has been wasting his potential. The only thing going for him is that he did not break from the abuse," Kyuubi confessed.

"I expect you to train him since he is charged with your tasks while you are bound in him. Auntie will be most upset if you do not train him in her ways," Horus said.

"I will train him while he sleeps from now on Horus-sama," Kyuubi told him. "I hope he does not complain too much."

"He won't complain. He wishes to protect those precious to him and being weak is counter productive of his goal," Horus said. "Its time to go back Kyuubi-chan. Don't bother him anymore understood?"

"Yes, Horus-sama, I obey," Kyuubi said before returning to his renovated cage.

"Now Naruto we have a lot of work before us and I expect you not to loose against a Hyuuga of all people is that clear?" Horus asked him in a tone that left only one answer possible.

"Yes, sensei, I will defeat the Hyuuga. There is no other acceptable option," Naruto said.

The rest of the week passed as Naruto was pushed by Horus to the limit of his mind and body during the day. Kyuubi followed his promise and taught Naruto as many jutsus as he could handle. He had torched Naruto's Horrible clothes before telling him to get dressed in the new clothes he had.

Naruto had been shocked by the strange outfit. Unlike normal shinobi black outfits, there was a pattern that would help him blend into the shadows and foliage. He had been shocked at how it masked chakra even when using henge. He had been given a completely new kunai set that seemed deadly yet beautiful while being elegant.

"Thank you, sensei, no one has ever really treated me well because of the you-know-what," Naruto told him as he hugged him.

"No problem Naruto. It is nice to train a student again. The last one ended up rather well except for how he seemed to have violent women fixate on him. Now someday you will want companionship and unlike the pervert there is more than just sex even if that part is very enjoyable. Whoever you choose to be with must have the strength to be your weakness as they will eventually become your most precious person. Now, while you go on about Sakura-san and her pink hair, cute looks and going on and on about how shapely her rear is, there is no evidence that she will see you until the Uchiha finally runs away," Horus told him before holding up his hand.

That stalled Naruto from speaking as he was there with his mouth open about to speak. 'But Sasuke may be a bastard, but he hates missing ninja,' Naruto thought.

"Don't interrupt Naruto," Horus told him firmly. "He will run as he will seek power to meet his goal as an avenger. He would even go to a traitor if he is promised power since he believes power can be given and not earned because of the Sharingan allowing him to take jutsus. One side effect of your training is that it makes it difficult for Dojutsu to work on you. Now go get a bowl of Ramen and relax before the exam. I will be watching you ok?"

Naruto looked at him nodded and went to get some food. He was silent and no longer seeking to get any attention even if it was negative. He had needed someone to acknowledge him. Still there was plenty of time to see how he did during the exam.

"Oh student?" Horus said. 'The look on his face will be fun,' he thought.

"Yes sensei," Naruto said.

"Do you know what they call a shinobi that does not use his head?" Horus asked him as he twirled his staff effortlessly.

"No sensei," Naruto said.

"A corpse. So I will be also training your mind. This," Horus said as he gestured to the staff now in his hand, "is what I will smack you with if you answer incorrectly or mouth off. This should provide some reinforcement to break your loudmouth habit."

"No offense sensei, but how will smacking me with a stick work better than being bopped by Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked.

Horus just grinned and tossed the staff to Naruto. Naruto caught it only to fall to the ground inside the crater the staff made when it hit the ground.

"Sensei, your crazy!" Naruto shouted from where he struggled in the crater.

"Think of it as toughness training. When I am done you will be quite and no when to speak and when not to speak in addition to actually being able to plan attacks. The bonus is that you will be harder to take down than a Stone Ninja," Horus said. "I might as well teach you some Earth Skills and some other elemental ones if you don't wash out."

"You'll teach me jutsus?" Naruto asked. "Well I guess this wont be so bad after all."

The grin Horus gave his student was not a very happy one. 'You will be most entertaining student,' Horus thought. 'I wonder if this is what Al felt when he was training Seras. Ah well, it is a sensei's prerogative to be entertained by one's student's torture... I mean training. Must not laugh maniacally at the poor sucker... I mean student.'

'It's not that he could do Anything as bad as say, throwing me off a cliff,' Naruto thought as he saw the grin. 'Besides it's not like after all my bitching about getting stronger I would regret training. There is no way that if could be worse than what Fuzzy Eyebrows goes through.'

Naruto after all the things the villagers had done to him should have known better than that to think that grin was a good thing. Naruto had regretted that as the training was grueling. No that is an understatement; it was designed to weed out people that made the so called best of the best end up either dead or as crying little pansies. A style that made the training of most Amazons, Musk or even Happosai's students shiver in dread and a loudmouthed brat with potential was going through it. That poor Genin should have gone with something simple like learning to shield his body from the Chidori with his chakra. Then again, he was determined enough he might actually come out relatively unharmed.

Unlike the last time he had done training, Horus had a one on one training so he made it much more focused and intense than he had done with anyone, but Seras. Still he followed the Akuma Kami Ken Ryu First Tenet to the letter; Thou shalt not train in something you have not undergone. If it had not been for that, Naruto would probably have bitched more if his sensei had not been going along with him through the same exercises only even more insanely. Naruto had been grateful that Kyuubi healed him until he realized that his sensei would use that to push him harder. Second Tenet being: Thou shalt not coddle your student; if there is a way to push them even harder, do so as long as the First Tenet is not violated.

Naruto had gotten up early before going through his morning routine that had become second nature over the last week. At times he thought it had been months or years of training considering how much he had suffered. He had learned to accept the Second Tenet after the first dozen or so punishments. Naruto had of course decided to never again attempt to prank his new sensei as being rendered allergic to even the thought of Ramen was devastating.

'The villagers only hated me and wanted to kill me; my sensei is far less merciful. He is a firm believer in the tenets of the school with the Third being one of his favorites. The Third Tenet being though shalt make thy student suffer for it builds strength and will. Then again the guy had increased his weights until they were almost crushing him and then the seals,' he thought. Naruto shook his head to get himself back on track.

He double checked how he was dressed appropriately with no bright colors or other things before he made his way to the stadium. He was no longer the naive brat he had been and he did not want to disappoint his sensei. He did not want to do whatever hellish training was deemed as punishment; the normal stuff was extreme even to ninjas so there was no way he wanted to have some special training. He had someone that did not ignore him like even the Toad Hermit did. He did understand that Horus-sensei was not a pervert and he had been smacked upside the head enough to tell that unlike Pervert Sennin, Horus-sensei was actually good with girls.

He had made it in time to see everyone there. Naruto had noticed that his goddamn Jounin instructor still had not shown up to watch his fight.

'God damn silver haired mask wearing hitae-ate over his one Sharingan eyed bastard of a pervert is going to make a grand entrance with that black haired and eyed Uchiha-teme,' Naruto thought. 'Only two guys in this village that aren't bastards to me are the Old Man and Iruka-sensei. I will show them.'

"Good luck Naruto," Horus said with a nod of his head. 'Show them what you got kid,' he thought.

"Yes sensei," Naruto said catching what he meant as he ran off to the staging area to wait for his fight with Hyuuga Neji.

The blond boy stopped to catch his breath first or more likely make himself calm down. When he looked absolutely calm almost indifferent it was only then that he entered the podium. He sat himself beside Neji, not looking up at him with his face completely devoid of his usually cheery mask.

All Hyuugas have the white eyes of the Byakugan, there eyes have visible veins when in use which removed any secrecy in its use unless they used a subtle genjutsu to hide the visible activation. This would let him know when the so called genius used his bloodline. Though it did seem that every one in this village had a variety of hair colors most of his fellow Genin had black hair. Sure Ino had blond and Sakura had a very light pink, but that was the exception. It was odd that no one had a blond color with any similar to what he had. Though Naruto did look like a mini copy of the Yondaime what with the spiky blond hair and blue eyes. Hell all Uchiha had black hairs and eyes unless they activated their Sharingan eyes.

Inside he was excited and wanted to get the exam started soon, but he showed nothing no anticipation or concern on the outside. He then noticed that Sasuke still hadn't come and he realized his earlier thought was probably right, but how come the Sound guy had also failed to show?

"Ara? Where is Sasuke and the Sound guy?" he asked the black haired lazy Genin that would rather watch clouds or play shogi with a slight tone of curiosity showing.

"Saa na, it's too troublesome to think about them," came Shikamaru's lazy reply. The Kyuubi's vessel shook his head exasperatedly.

Trust Shikamaru to say that,' he thought. 'Still something does not seem right about this. To think that he is also considered a genius he is just lazy like all Naras. Just like the other members of his team their parents were on the same team and their family jutsus work well together. Ino has a mind jutsu, Chouji a physical one with his meat tank and Shikamaru has the shadow bind. Together a formidable combination if they have good stamina and chakra control. They are far less impressive when separated.'

The Sandaime made his speech which Naruto mostly ignored and finally started the final exam. Genma as the examiner introduced himself and told them the rules were the same as before.

"First match, Uzumaki Naruto Vs Hyuuga Neji" the crowds cheered.

From the crowds Naruto could see Sakura, who was... gaping at him? He squinted his eyes to see if he was just hallucinating. Nope. Sakura was indeed gaping at him, so was Ino, and Chouji whose hand gripping a potato chip stopped in the air.

'The question is... why?' he thought. 'Am I so different than before that they chose now to stare,' he thought. 'I mean sensei did say he would find a most unpleasant torture... I mean punishment... I mean entertaining training exercise if I ever wore such bright colors again. Knowing my luck I would be in a henge of Lee with a genjutsu making me spew out about the glories of youth power or something worse while doing Lee's training with his weight plus the seals. Not going to tempt fate by ever saying that aloud.'

"Is that really Naruto?" Ino asked to no one bluntly. She then turned to Sakura who had the image of a gaping fish. 'Boy, that guy surely had changed in just a month,' she thought. 'He really grew taller and developed more defined muscles. And just what's with the change of wardrobe anyway? Maybe he finally realized that orange just wasn't for him, or that it made him a walking target?'

The blond girl observed Naruto from afar. Somethings just seemed far too different for her peace of mind and the way that his teammate was shocked by the changes was disconcerting the Genin kunoichi.

'His height has shot up and now he looks to be around five feet tall,' Ino thought 'His skin has tanned more and I can see the muscles beneath his jacket. Hmm... Even though a little of his chubbiness remained, he's lost most of it and his face has sharpened which has makes him look more matured. His muscles are far more defined than a Genin's should be and seems to be closer to how Lee's looked. He also doesn't seem to move the same as before. He is far more relaxed... No, that's not right. He is more confident but not like before. It is as if he no longer felt the need to show off and was confident but not cocky more along the lines of sure what his abilities are.'

She whistled loudly, snapping Sakura and Chouji from their Lala world. Sakura had similar thoughts running through her head. Mostly she was wonderign if this was someone using henge to look like Naruto. Chouji just seemed to be trying to rationalize the difference.

'He seemed like the exact opposite of Sasuke,' Ino thought. 'Like the sun and the moon. Naruto had a bright attitude while Sasuke was full with the air of mystery. Naruto's hair was so blond that could be mistaken for gold, while Sasuke's was as black as an abyss. Naruto's skin was tan while Sasuke's was pale. If Naruto was handsome in a more manly kind, Sasuke was... pretty? Nah, more like handsome in a girly kind... wait a second that's not right. Uh... Sasuke was handsome in feminine ways? God... I must stop thinking like that. It was so... wrong...'

"Whoa, Naruto has surely changed, hasn't he?" Chouji commented, once again starting to eat his snack.

Sakura eyed Chouji incredulously. "Are you kidding? When I met him 4 weeks ago he wasn't like this! How in the hell did he grow so much in just such a short time?" Sakura wondered.

"Begin!" Genma shouted.

Naruto made three Kage Bushins before he hid himself in the ground while using a simple jutsu to use a Bushin's eyes to observe the fight from a tree while he was hidden underground. Naruto sent a Kage Bushin to test Neji's defenses. One would burrow under where Neji was and the other a good deal aways. He switched with the clone hidden away from the fight. Naruto directed his clone to throw small projectile shards of solidified air at Neji to test his Byakugan. Nothing was perfect after all and a weakness once discovered could be utilized.

'No matter which direction they come from he can see it,' Naruto thought. 'Wait there is a blind spot. One in a narrow range behind him and he doesn't look at the air without tilting his head. He has a near three hundred sixty degree view, but he has blind spots directly above and below with a very narrow one at the back near the skull.'

Naruto sent another barrage of projectiles this time throwing Kage kunai to limit the ways he could dodge and Neji responded in a manner to bring them down. The Hyuuga without looking up immediately spun around fast like tornado and deflected all the blades.

"KAITEN!" he shouted as he spun.

Even Neji understood that there was something amiss going on. 'This is the dead last,' he thought. 'I am a Hyuuga and there is no way I will lose. It is destined by fate. Still Kage kunai requires the knowledge of Kage shuriken and the understanding of how to modify it. Did he hide his skills to be underestimated?'

Naruto decided to send his clone closer to check out his close range skills. He caught the Kage Bushin's kick and since it was solid he thought that it was the real Naruto, not knowing that the one he was thinking about was currently underground studying Neji's style through the eyes of a Bushin sitting in a tree. It spun mid-air and released another kick while its other leg was caught. Neji simply deflated his back to avoid it, but what he didn't expect was that it changed its course of attack and its foot hit his face. Naruto's Kage Bushin drew its first blood against the Hyuuga prodigy.

Enraged at allowing a dead last to strike him let alone draw blood, Neji dashed to it. "You're within my field of hakke! You can't use your chakra after this," the boy from Hyuuga branch used his Jyuken. Naruto especially concentrated when Neji did it. Kyuubi had taught him how to analyze attack patterns while Horus had beaten the impulsiveness out of him in the training. A ninja was not a samurai and rushing in personally was not in a ninja's best interest. Hyuuga's relied on their taijutsu linked to their bloodline limit and this resulted in a specialization which could be used against him.

The Kage Bushin popped out of existence when Neji finished with 64 hands, shocking him who jumped back to avoid 5 kunais that struck the ground where he was before. Unlike the first Bushin, Naruto prepared the second one to test Neji against long-range attack.

Forming handseals, it fashioned something that Naruto had done before, just with far more shards so that it almost enveloped Neji like a solid condensing barrier. With the last seal, the shards shot towards Neji who spun around once again. The dust cloud his Kaiten created obscured his figure so that no one could clearly see what happened. The Hyuuga's were not worried as Hiashi knew that the Kaiten was practically impenetrable. In his arrogance, he forgot that there is a vast difference between practically and actuality, but that was accepted of those ninja who let their ego get in the way of their mind.

When it dissipated, they saw Neji coughing blood. Hiashi's and the other Hyuugas' eyes widened at the sight in disbelief. Two shards were embedded behind his upper back piercing through his shoulders, but Neji's hand gripped the Bushin's neck. Forming chakra on his left hand and made it sharp, Neji struck its stomach and it exploded with a poof.

In the podium, two shinobi near Sakura, Ino, and Chouji watched the fight with interest. One was a long black haired beauty with red eyes and the other was just as exotic a beauty yet she was dressed in her usual attire consisting of her pants, her trench coat, and the nettings that covered most of her body. That they were Kurenai and Anko would cause a lot of trouble for the young Genin. He had just drawn the attention of two dangerous kunoichi. That Anko was considered a bloodthirsty crazy psychopath even for a ninja would mean that Naruto would have to be careful.

"What do you think about them?" Hinata's Jounin-sensei asked.

"The Hyuuga boy is good, but unfortunately he was too hot-headed to notice that the ones he fought against were only Naruto's Kage Bushin that even with Byakugan could only be seen as real person. Fox boy is interesting though. He could use a Jounin level jutsu: Kage Bushin," Anko said. "His first Bushin tested Neji for short-range combat while his second one tested for long-range attack. His... ability to use an air jutsu is... interesting for sure. That is more so since he has not been to the library so who taught him? Are you really sure when you say that he was the last of his ninja academy class?"

"That was what was written on Iruka's report." Kurenai said.

"Well he's certainly not dumb. He was clever enough to use his Bushins to test Neji. That means that he either acted stupid or his brain just kicked in," Anko said.

They went back to see the fight with no Naruto in sight, but not before they smirked. They had the first candidate for Chunnin, now the boy only needed to prove his worth.

"Naruto! Show yourself!" Neji pulled out the shards from his back and winced. 'How could a dead last like him wound me like this? I won't accept it,' he thought. 'It is not my fate to be defeated by him. Still if these shards had been barbed or infused with a poison, I would have been finished.'

"What's up, Neji? Can't handle my attacks?" he taunted the Hyuuga boy using a simple jutsu to make his voice come from everywhere.

"You wish!" he snarled back, which made Naruto chuckle at his irritation. "Come out of hiding! Or are you scared to fight me by yourself?"

Kyuubi's vessel whistled. "But I have fought you by myself. In case you didn't know, Bushin is a shinobi's skill. Besides why don't you search for me with those pretty eyes of yours? Or is that only served as a display?" he mocked even further. "We are ninja Neji; why put ourselves in danger when we can send a clone while we observe? Your arrogance has made you forget a shinobi's first lesson. Deception is a ninja's first tool."

This mocking of his clans blood limit only increased the Genius's anger even more. Neji concentrated on his Byakugan, his anger making his blood vessels appear more visible yet another flaw in the prized Byakugan. 'I have to defeat him. There is no way that a Hyuuga could loose to a dead last,' he thought as he was letting his emotions cloud his judgment.

Looking around he spotted the Naruto clone standing on a tree branch. He dashed toward him thinking it was the real him. Knowing that he has been spotted, Naruto only grinned as his hand went to his pouch and drew out a small ball. With his other hand, he took out the sunglasses his sensei insisted he buy and put them on. Preparation was important besides his eyes were more sensitive due to the Kyuubi's presence.

'Let's see if the Hyuuga is still dumb enough to not over use his eyes,' Naruto thought before throwing the ball towards Neji. 'Let alone cover them.'

The black haired lad dodged it as it flew by him on his left. Thinking it was a projectile bomb he never for a second considered that it was not intended to hit him.

'He dismissed it thinking it was a simple bomb,' Naruto thought. 'He never thought that his eyes could be turned into a weakness. Since he relies on them so much, he will be as good as crippled without it. Tenet Eight: Turn thy opponents' strength into their weakness.'

Sadly Naruto was right as Neji looked at it from the corner of his eyes just in time so that he saw it exploded when he turned his full attention toward it. That was a big mistake though, because as soon as it exploded, it let out a very bright light that almost blinded everyone in the podium.

The Hyuuga in the podium quickly covered their eyes so not to be hurt, but Neji didn't have the option. Being in the nearest vicinity and his Byakugan activated optimally, his eyes were hurt so much by the intensity of the light. He covered his eyes in pain and cried out, but the damage was already done.

Naruto smirked evilly. His plan was successful. He had thought of the idea after he'd received the sunglasses and remembered from Hinata-chan's story that the Byakugan could see everything with more intensity than other people's eyes. His sensei would be proud of turning an enemy's strength into a weakness. A lesson he had learned due to his sensei using the Kyuubi's healing to his detriment in his spars. Shame he could not see the tenketsus or he could have ended this match properly. The Ninth Tenet: Defeat thy opponent with their own skills and thou hast truly learned them made him wish that he could do so.

He had then bought a flash grenade and being a prankster at heart, he knew how to modify it to his expectations. The bomb worked better than he had expected. He only wanted to modify it to blind everyone in a slightly larger radius, but it seemed he poured more than enough flash powder inside it to seem like a mini sun to the poor sensitive boy's eyes. He was sleepy after the grueling spar with his sensei at that time and had even dozed off while in the middle of the modifications. It was no wonder if the result was disastrous, for the Hyuuga that is.

"Those eyes of yours really are sensitive, aren't they?" he jumped down to the ground, looking at Neji whose eyes could only see white.

"Kisama!" the Hyuuga prodigy growled. "A loser like you can't defeat me!"

"Whatever," Naruto shrugged easily. "That was for hurting Hinata-chan. I don't appreciate people hurting those I care about. I have to ask you though, why did you almost kill her? You're her cousin, right? Or is it because of the seal placed on you?"

"YOU! How do you know about the seal?" he snapped. His eyes felt better now, though he could still only see in white blurs, but it wasn't hurting as much anymore.

"I researched a little about the Hyuuga clan, that's all. So it's true, then? You beat her viciously because she is from main house?" Neji gritted his teeth. "You're pathetic, blaming something like that on her when she didn't even do anything wrong to you. Hell she had tried to help you and you still used her to vent."

"What do you know about me? Because she was kidnapped my father died, and you don't have a cursed seal like this on you!" Naruto gave off a bitter smile.

"Oh, maybe I don't know about what I would feel if my father died, but that's because I am an orphan and didn't have any parents at all to care for me. You're lucky; you had a chance to know your parents, unlike me. And as for the seal, I know about it more than you do," he didn't elaborate anymore causing Neji to become curious as to what he meant.

"Still you were wrong to beat her," Naruto growled out.

"It is her fate that she is weak. Destiny allowed me to defeat her and it is destiny that will make me defeat you too!"

"Do you really believe in that crap? So it's destiny that makes you, but didn't you come from Hyuuga branch? Is it destiny that your father had to die? But if you really believe it then, why did you try to defy it?"

"I didn't defy them!" Neji shouted.

"Really? Then why did you beat Hinata-chan? If it is your destiny to be born as a Hyuuga branch member then why did you not protect her instead of harming her?" Neji wavered at that. "But I don't believe in destiny. I will make my own path. I will make everyone recognized me as Uzumaki Naruto, not what they accused me of being when I didn't even do anything wrong. You're too weak to accept everything that's happened in your life so you then blamed it on others by saying it was your destiny," he snorted. "Funny, really. I guess that means you can't admit your own flaws so you will eventually die."

Neji growled. Now that his eyes were finally better he could see Naruto clearly. He would make him pay for humiliating a Hyuuga.

Naruto smirked at him with a shake of his head and said, "Really Neji, with those sought after eyes that has led you to believe that they make you my superior, you have become overly dependent on them. Just like any other Bloodline user, you allow your gift to cloud your judgment. Such sought after eyes and you can't even tell I'm another clone."

The Kage Bushin exploded and then they heard echo around the stadium so that you could not tell where it came from, "Earth Style: Inner Decapitation Technique." Neji was sucked into the ground with only his head free. "So, Neji, trapped in the ground with a kunai to your throat. Forfeit or die. I guess you were fated to loose since you became so overconfident in your abilities."

Neji did not want to forfeit but he was trapped. He tried to use his Chakra to release himself. This only caused the earth to squeeze him until he screamed out when he felt his ribs start to crack, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"Neji, poor deluded Neji, the ground is set so that if you try to use your Chakra even passively the ground tightens on you," Naruto said with a smirk. "If you try too much, you will be truly decapitated as your body is crushed. A bit like the crushing force Gaara used but at least it's a bit more controllable. His kills I can just cripple you far more versatile this way don't you think." Neji just glared at him. "So I say again oh famed Hyuuga Prodigy, Forfeit or die."

Neji was defeated and he knew it as he felt the earth crush his leg. He cried out again as his bone was crushed. Naruto smirked evilly at the defeated supposedly superior clan ninja.

"Neji! Choose to Forfeit or become a cripple," Naruto said. "You are unworthy to die as a ninja as you are weak in body as well as mind, but you can take solace in that the Uchiha Prodigy fell for the same jutsu though our neglectful Jounin-sensei was the one to use it on him."

Neji glared at him. He was a Hyuuga and this common dead last near civilian would not break him. "Never," Neji snarled. "I will not loose to a dead last like you."

"Which is worse for a Hyuuga, defeat or to no longer be able to be a shinobi?" Naruto asked him as he casually crushed Neji's right knee eliciting another scream.

Neji barely restrained the urge to snarl after the blond, but his eyes were full of rage at being humiliated so that he cried out.

"Maybe I should just remove those coveted eyes of yours," Naruto stated on a cold manner with just a hint of some strange curiosity in his inflections.

Neji's eyes widened as the kunai was placed so that his eyes could be gouged out. It was not a thought that the boy had prepared himself for.

"What use is a Hyuuga without the Byakugan?" Naruto asked as he ran the kunai along the upper eyelid from the nose to the ear.

Neji held his tongue, but there was only so much that even a ninja can handle and becoming useless was not one of them.

"Come now, Neji, there is no reason to try to escape. Simply surrender and you will not be useless," Naruto said as he pressed the kunai to trace a cut below Neji's left eye before removing it. "Choose Hyuuga."

Neji hung his head in defeat and said, "I surrender."

"See Neji that was not so hard," Naruto said. "The Chakra will dissipate in a few minutes and you will be free then. If the medic ninja work hard it should only take a bit of training to be able to be a ninja again. Remember fate is what cowards blame their weakness on, Hinata was the only person of our generation not to treat me like trash. If she had not asked me not to kill you, I would have been happy that your clan was put in its place. If the village had their way my destiny would be to be their punching bag."

"Why did you struggle against your destiny?" the defeated Hyuuga asked as he gazed into the sky not looking at Naruto.

"... Because I don't want to be called a loser." Naruto admitted. "I will prove my worth to the world and protect those precious to me."

Genma was astonished to say the least. Here he was thinking that Neji would beat Naruto with no difficulty only to see just the opposite that the dead last of his year played with the top student. He snapped out of his thoughts and said, "Winner, Uzumaki Naruto!" the silence was changed into cheers that were deafening.

"You know what kid?" Genma asked Neji with his head cocked. "Even a bird, if it's clever enough will get out of its cage using its beak."

Naruto had just embarrassed the prodigy of the Hyuuga Clan and they still had to wait for the Uchiha to fight Gaara. The thoughts of the rest of the Rookie Nine were much better than the older Ninja of Konoha. A good many of them wanted to hurt or kill Naruto for his actions. The only thing that held them back was that the Sandaime would kill them, not that the demon brat could have killed them. No that thought never crossed their minds.

"I can't believe it. Naruto-san actually won," Shikamaru said in shock. Afterward he chuckled, happy for him.

Standing there, Sakura still couldn't believe what her eyes had seen. She was gaping and there was no indication that she would close her mouth soon, so Ino snapped her from her mind.

"Hey, Sakura-chan, aren't you glad that your teammate won?" She smiled when she saw the shy and timid Hinata look happy although she could see there was confusion in her eyes, not that she would blame her, Naruto had just beaten someone and mentioned that Neji owed her his life. Well that and he called her Hinata-chan before the whole stadium.

"No way!" a shout of disbelief brought their attention to the source. Kiba, with Akamaru on his head, exclaimed completely gob smacked. "Naruto wins?"

"Well, well, if it isn't dog boy who lost to Naruto a month ago," Ino taunted him with a mysterious smile. He and Akamaru growled angrily, but a pained cough from Hinata brought his attention to her. Concerned he went to his teammate, which he could not admit he had feelings for.

"Hinata-san, are you Okay?" she nodded with a smile, but he could see she was in pain. Her wounds hadn't healed properly yet. "Come on, let's go ask a medic-ninja to treat you," he gripped her wrist and not wanting to argue; Hinata nodded and went with him. Kabuto was eying them behind his ANBU mask when they headed towards him. "Excuse me, ANBU sir, could you tell us where the nearest medic-ninja is? She needs help."

"I am a medic-ninja. I'll treat her," he said. 'If I don't my cover will be blown,' he thought without showing any hesitation.

"Thanks." Kabuto's hand was enveloped by chakra as he healed her then put her to sleep. When he was finished, he made Kiba and Akamaru unconscious too.

Naruto walked to the railing beside Shikamaru who congratulated him. "Thanks."

Kankurou was worried, the signal still wasn't there. That meant that he needed to give up, so Karasu's secret wouldn't be revealed. He eyed Naruto closely. This boy wasn't the same boy he saw a month ago. He had improved too much. His behavior had been a bit like Gaara when he toyed with his prey.

Naruto looked around and thought, 'Where is Sasuke-teme? He could be disqualified! Then I would not get the chance to prove himself against him.'

The spectators also booed out and became angry. They wanted to see a fight. They came all the way to see some action and had been denied seeing the fight between the Kaze-kage's prized killing machine of a son and the last surviving loyal Uchiha.

This could be bad if the clients were annoyed they might go elsewhere for their missions. The Kages of the three nations huddled to discus it before they informed Genma of their decision.

"The match between Uchiha Sasuke Vs Sabaku no Gaara will be moved to the last match. Next match, Kankurou Vs Aburame Shino," Genma announced their decision.

"I give up," the sand boy said, much to the disbelief of others.

Shino looked at him closely from behind his black glasses. He new something was up and even his bugs were informing him that it would have been a challenge to defeat a puppet user.

The crowds booed again. Temari eyed the unsatisfied spectators annoyed. She brought her fan out and jumped to the ground below.

"If you all wanted a match, then I'll go!" she snapped.

Genma looked over the Sandaime who nodded. "Winner, Aburame Shino by default. Next match: Nara Shikamaru Vs Sabaku no Temari."

"Oh why did my match come so soon? This is too troublesome. Maybe I should just give up like him." Shikamaru said.

Irritated by his lack of motivation, Naruto slapped his back rather hard and made him fall to the ground just barely avoiding creating a crater with the fellow Konoha ninja's body. "Go, Shikamaru!" Naruto yelled out.

On the ground below, Shikamaru muttered curses to Naruto with his back on the ground. This only caused Naruto to smirk.

Naruto and the others watched as Shikamaru fought the Sand girl. She cornered him for a while before he suddenly came up with a trick and succeeded in binding her. When she almost gave up, the lazy boy did something unexpected. He gave up. Naruto and the spectators yelled at him, but he ignored it. The fox vessel wanted to strangle him. It was so close. He could have won and still had enough Chakra for the finals.

It was Sasuke's turn now and still there was no sign of him. The crowds were getting impatient and so was Naruto. He eyed Gaara from the corner of his eyes. The red head was as indifferent as ever. Naruto felt something from the boy. Something that was similar to himself.

'I guess I was right, he has a demon sealed in him too,' Naruto thought. 'Sasuke better have improved enough to justify personal training for the past month. Sensei never said I could not prank people only not to get caught.' Naruto had an evil grin as he thought of what kind of prank would most humiliate his rival.

'Something strange is going on... I have been feeling it since yesterday, like something bad would happen,' Naruto thought. 'This is going to be interesting.'

The cheers from the crowd got his attention and he saw a whirlwind of leaves appeared and diminished, leaving Sasuke and Kakashi in the middle of the exam ground.

'Leave it to Sasuke to show off like that. He seems t be gaining far too many of Kakashi's bad traits,' Naruto thought.

The Uchiha-teme had a smirk on his face that Naruto wanted to wipe off. 'More like rip off his pretty face,' Kyuubi told him.

A bit of anger rise within him when he saw Kakashi who stranded him with Ebisu and left him for Sasuke. "Yeah I seem to have a harder time controlling my mask lately,' Naruto thought back. 'Still I would not have met the Pervert Hermit or my sensei without him slighting me so I guess that the so called genius has done me a favor even if it was indirectly.'

'You're too forgiving cub,' Kyuubi thought to him. 'The way the pink haired girl fawns on him is just further proof that humans are crazy.'

Shaking his head, Naruto shouted to him. "Hey, Sasuke!" the boy turned up to him. "You better win this match cause if you don't I can't kick your ass myself!" A look of surprise flashed from his eyes before he smirked. Naruto frowned. Was he that weak before that he thought he couldn't win against a Hyuuga? "Ne, Shikamaru, let's go to the others," he nodded and followed him to the spectators' podium.

Lee saw them come closer and he brightened. "Naruto!" Ino, Chouji, Sakura, and Gai turned to him.

"Hey Lee!" Naruto shouted. 'If only you would loose those eye brows, you would have better luck with Sakura-san. Wait a minute why am I thinking of her differently? Doesn't matter,' Naruto thought. 'Hmmm... Maybe that is why Kakashi-san likes to annoy Gai-san.'

"Naruto!" Sakura shouted. "How in the hell did you beat him?"

"Hey," he was offended. "I beat him fair and square. It's no big deal!"

"Then how come you have improved so much in so little time?" she asked him.

"I found someone that would actually train me unlike some people," he replied simply, not wanting to divulge any information. She wanted to shout something else when the silver haired Jounin appeared. "Kakashi-sensei!"

"Yo!" Kakashi said.

"Kakashi! How come you arrived late! You're a Jounin and should act like one, just like me, the Konoha green beast!" Gai bellowed, earning him multiple sweatdrops except from his prized pupil who watched him with adoration.

'Sensei would call this learning patience and restraint,' Naruto thought. 'If he sees that I am annoyed, he will do worse. Like lock me in a room with Gai-san and Lee-san or worse a genjutsu of them that never ends.'

"You were saying?" The Yondaime's pupil lifted an eyebrow. Naruto tuned it out from there, not wanting to hear the nonsense one-sided talking from Konoha's Green Beast.

"Congratulation, Naruto. I heard you won against Hyuuga Neji, eh?" Kakashi said,

"Hmm, you said something Kakashi-san?" Naruto asked as he gave a fake grin of concern. 'Let's see how you like your own medicine?' Naruto thought. 'Huh? He's shocked! I might as well leave him like that.'

They went back watching as the match started. Deep inside Naruto was fuming that Kakashi had neglected him giving no attention to even ask how he did it. Of course if he had, he wouldn't tell him the truth, but still he was his Jounin-sensei dammit. At least he had given him some attention, no matter how small it was.

'Far too little far to late, Kakashi-san,' Naruto thought. 'I found a real sensei unlike you. You did not even notice me not calling you my teacher and your a Jounin. No wonder everyone has such low opinion of Konoha Ninja.'

Sasuke was attacking Gaara, who had his sand defend him. Naruto noticed that Sasuke's speed had improved from before.

'That's it? Kakashi-sensei, no it's Kakashi-san now, denied me training just to make his speed raise so little?' Naruto thought. 'Hell, I can move faster than him, although not by much with these damn weights on me. And I did it with a real sensei even if he is a sadistic maniac. Then again, the guy makes Gai-san look soft in his training methods. I mean really; who ties a student with weights and has him do laps on the bottom of a lake while using chakra to extract air from the water to breath?'

He glanced at his former sensei. Something just wasn't right. Kakashi would not have spent a month just to raise his fellow prodigy in his speed. No the similarities the Jounin saw between them was too great not to make him into his own spitting image.

'No, Kakashi must have taught him something... special,' Naruto thought. 'Teaching a power hungry avenger a special technique. Hmm.. he knows a lot of jutsus, but he only invented one that could get by Gaara's defenses. He better not have given a screw loose Sasuke a B-Rank assassination technique. If he taught him Chidori, there will be another thing to make him think like Neji did. Sasuke-teme is going to be just like his brother at this rate. He will do Anything to kill him even become a traitor to the village.'

Gaara formed a ball of sand to envelope Sasuke. This drew Naruto's attention. If Sasuke-teme was going to do something it would be soon. He was a show of after all.

Naruto's suspicions were confirmed on what the special trick was when Sasuke ran to the wall and stood there holding his wrist with his other hand, and he could see something was formed there. The sound of a thousand birds' voices chirping greeted his ears when blue electricity crackled in his hand. Sasuke then started to run toward the Sand boy with his lightning leaving a trail of crushed wall. The Uchiha boy sank his Chidori into the ultimate defense and it started to crack a little.

'Kakashi-san, you are an idiot,' Naruto thought. 'Hmmm. Gaara's Chakra feels similar to Kyuubi's.'

'Shit Shukaku had been in Wind Country. If they sealed him inside an infant, they would have a weapon to use,' Kyuubi thought to him in concern. 'I suspected a lesser demon or spirit, but the Ichubi? Kit, if Shukaku has control this could be bad.'

'Yeah, but he still has the limits of a mortal shinobi's chakra channels. If he uses to much, he will burn his pathways out and that will disable him. Good thing that the Yondaime died sealing you, dear Kyu-chan, in me or sensei would have had to kill him,' Naruto thought back affectionately.

Gaara had partially transformed into a partial sand golem of Shukaku. Horus saw Naruto head off to stop it with a bunch of brats and a dog. Horus looked about as he felt the presence of a snake summons. He looked up as he felt the shield form around the Sandaime and the fake Kaze-kage.

'This would blow my cover, but there is no way that they can stop this,' Horus thought. 'Besides I have an interest in dealing with Manda's summoner anyways.'

"Forbidden Technique: Grand Summoning: Little Empress of Snakes, Nia the Sky Storm Serpent, come forth," Horus said as he pored a gigantic amount of energy into the call. 'Shit I will be wiped if I don't get some energy soon. That move must have used at least ninety percent,' he thought. 'No wonder this is such a high level technique. I would have been almost completely wiped if I did not have my limiters acting as a spare reservoir storing the excess energy that would cause me to overload.'

Horus disappeared from the stadium to appear standing on the head of a giant winged snake surrounded by storm clouds. The lightning struck from her wings illuminating the sight as Horus looked down at the stadium. The Snake curled around the entire length of the village and was fifty feet wide by several hundred feet long. The wings alone were able to blot out most of the sky above Konoha.

"You can kill any of the Sand or Sound Ninjas, my lovely Nia," Horus said. "I am going to deal with the traitor Manda and his summoner."

"This is going to be fun," Nia said in a voice of a thundering roar. "Fresh meat!"

Those dumb enough to use Seneijashu (Hidden Shadow Snake Hand) against Konoha died as their summons curled back and bit them before ripping their hearts out and swallowing them. If they understood snake, they would have heard them say, "For the Little Empress," as they struck. Alas far too many of the Sound had learned serpent attacks and they were being turned on them. Sound ninja were seen being killed by vipers, crushed and eaten by pythons and worse.

The one Leaf ninja who knew the skill found her attacks coming easier and that the snakes were seemingly impaling the enemy instead of biting them. She grinned as she saw the snakes retract with the enemies' hearts in their mouth. Mitarashi Anko had turned into a giddy laughing girl as her snake attacks ripped the enemies' hearts out in showers of blood. She was having so much fun. She turned as one of the Sound ninja tried to use the attack she had been using. Her eyes widened as the vipers had struck at his neck before worming their way inside. One snake was seen swallowing the heart while the other was seen eating various organs that had been part of the stomach before slithering out of a hole near his groin.

Horus leaped down as lightning flew down and electrocuted the various attacking Ninjas. Horus drew his hands back and concentrated a large amount of his remaining power in his hands. He also was drawing on all the waste energy that all the jutsus were saturating the area in. It would not be enough to complete the attack without an outside source of energy. He looked at the shield. It could work and he had to try.

'This will work,' he thought. 'There is no way that my student is fighting alone. Let see if that shield can handle this.'

"Screaming Soul Shredder Storm," Horus said. 'The shield will actually restore my energy,' Horus thought. 'It's nice when the enemy actually helps you; no matter how unintentional it was.'

As the invasion launched on the ground beneath him, the Stadium roof parted as the Storm slammed into the shield with a sound of tearing metal in a grinder. The shield started to buckle and the ninja trying to maintain it started screaming when their curse seal activated as their chakra was being ripped painfully from their bodies. They fell to the ground as the curse seals were burning their bodies before dissipating into ash as the attack ripped not just their chakra from their bodies, but torn at their very souls.

Their energy was extracted then purified and poured directly into Horus's depleted reserves even as their minds were drained of all information they held. It would take a bit, but everything they knew Horus would know soon enough. The shield fell as the Sound Four collapsed to the ground before turning to rapidly decaying bodies that rotted to dust and ash that blew away from the winds from the storm above them.

Horus continued his descent and landed next to the Sandaime. He blocked an attack from Orochimaru and looked at him as if he was weak trash which he was. The ex-Sennin looked at him in confusion.

"So your Manda's summoner. I have to say I am not impressed," Horus said. "Well I never was impressed with Manda so why should his summoner be different."

Orochimaru snarled and tried to use his viper attack, but it did not work as the snakes stopped from striking Horus. He barely dodged as they looped back fangs aimed at his throat. The snakes missed and ended up piercing into two sound ninja behind him.

'What is going on?' he thought. 'I have the snake contract and they obey me. Why would they not attack him?'

Little did he know how much his plans had been shot to hell this past week... The sand brats would have been able to defeat his future Uchiha eyes, but now it was uncertain.

While Horus was dealing with matters inside the stadium, Naruto was soon to be busy as he had to go off to save the beloved soon to be yet another traitorous Uchiha. He was resisting the genjutsu, but he was in conversation with Kyu-chan so those watching would think he was asleep and thus at least partially affected by the genjutsu.

Kakashi watched in alarm as people around him started to sleep under genjutsu. He noticed that Naruto hadn't fallen yet was still partially out of it. While Sakura watched in confusion at the scene before her, she shook her head before she realized that it was a genjutsu and canceled the effect on herself. Gai looked around in suspicion trying to find the source of this genjutsu.

When he looked down the arena, he saw Gaara was carried away by his siblings while their Jounin-sensei fought against Genma. He also noticed Sasuke followed them. That idiot always had to rush in and have to be rescued when he got over his head. Why Kakashi did not seem to realize this would often lead him to kick himself for his foolishness in the future. He only believed he needed some assistance since there was three almost Chunnin ninjas he wsa going after.

"Sakura," Kakashi barked to his subordinate. "Get Naruto and Shikamaru. Sasuke is following the sand Genins, he will need help," he summoned a dog named Pakkun to aid his subordinate. "Bring him with you, he'll track them for you."

"But, Kakashi-sensei..." a kunai almost hit her but was deflected by her sensei. She watched as some people wearing Sand and Sound hitae-ate appeared.

The girl was far too uneducated to be a shinobi. Someday she would get some real education. Hopefully it would not be being raped by foreign ninja. When that happened most kunoichi rarely recovered. Not that they were allowed to escape. Those kunoichi normally ended up broken and became tools of their breakers. If they were truly weak they were passed around and eventually sold to some slaver.

"GO!" Kakashi yelled at her fed up with her silly actions. 'Why does she always have to take so long to follow orders,' he thought. 'There is no time to question orders in battle. Hesitation is death to shinobi.'

She scrambled to her feet and headed to Naruto who seemed to be neither asleep nor awake, but zoned out even as enemy Ninja unconsciously avoided him. She was unknowingly seeing one of the permanent defensive skills he had learned. The two Jounins deflected every attack directed to her as she ran.

"Naruto!" Sakura shouted into his ear to snap him out of whatever it was he was under. It had not been a genjutsu or she would have dispelled it.

"Sakura-chan?" Naruto's eyes snapped open as he suddenly observed his surrounding. "What the fuck is going on!?"

Sakura walked over and almost canceled the genjutsu for Shikamaru when the small yet narcissist dog following her bit him making him shouted in pain. "Shikamaru! You're not asleep, are you?" she accused, pointing a finger at him.

"This is too troublesome," he muttered lazily, earning him a whack on his head.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu," Naruto's voice echoed. All eyes around directed at him as he summoned a three meters tall toad. "Kage Bushin no Jutsu." A dozen clones appeared they immediately took a defensive formation.

"Naruto...?" Kakashi for once was at loss of word. 'When did you learn to summon and toads? How did you meet Jiraiya?' he asked himself.

The toad attacked the nearest enemy shinobi with his tongue, before he swallowed the enemy ninja as a scream was heard as the ninja dissolved. The Bushins killed any enemy that approached by kunai to the brain. Kage Bushins able to use the shadow element to make an unlimited number of kunai was an improvement over Kage Shuriken which required one to be replicated from.

"Naruto, leave here to us. You need to help Sasuke; he was following the Sand Genins to the forest. Take Shikamaru, Sakura, and Pakkun with you."

"Who?" Naruto asked confused as he was not familiar with the last name.

"The little dog there. He will track them," Kakashi said.

"I'm not little, I'm a cute puppy," the dog said.

"Yeah, right," Sakura said, not convinced at all that the dog was actually useful.

"Okay, what is exactly happening here?" Shikamaru asked.

Gai blasted a hole in the wall, enough for them to pass across. Kakashi motioned them to get out of the stadium through that hole. They had a mission and they better succeed because the alternative was very bad. The pink haired girl was still standing there causing Kakashi to want to sigh.

"Sakura!" Kakashi shouted snapping her out of it as she suddenly dragged Naruto and Shikamaru with her before they could say anything in protest.

"So let me get this straight, other villages are attacking us, probably Sound and Sand from their hitae-ate. The red head Sand boy somehow plays a big role in this attack from what you saw," Shikamaru said. "And now he escaped with his Genin team and Sasuke followed them. Is that right?"

Sakura nodded. "That's the basics."

Naruto slapped his forehead. "What a nice day did they chose to attack," he moaned.

'Damn it I used a good chunk of chakra playing with Neji,' he thought. 'Hey Kyu-chan how soon until my reserves are full?'

'Not to long your levels are almost back to normal,' Kyuubi replied. To herself she thought with a happy girly sigh, 'I like that he calls me Kyu-chan.'

"Some people track us," Pakkun sniffed the air.

'Hmm... the dogs right,' Naruto thought.

'We may not have as good a sense of smell as dogs, but we foxes are better than most trackers,' Kyuubi told him plainly.

"How many?" Shikamaru asked.

"Ten. And they'll soon caught up with us if we don't start going faster," the dog said.

"What if we ambush them?" Naruto suggested.

"Bad idea. They'll know if we plan to ambush them. And I bet they have spy inside our shinobi rank and that mean they know the forest situation," Shikamaru voiced out. "Not to mention that our team consist only of us. Someone needs to stop and delay them, and that someone would most likely die," they stopped their running when they heard it.

After a moment of silence, Naruto snapped out, "I'll do..."

"No, Naruto. I'll be the one who do it. My kage-mane no jutsu after all was specially made for this kind of thing. You two follow and join Sasuke."

"... Be safe, Shikamaru," Naruto said before he jumped off after casting a worried glance once more to his remaining comrade.

"Ah," Sakura stared at him uncertain, before she too ran after Naruto. Pakkun followed her after giving a nod to him. Watching them go, he started to work out his plan.

"Don't worry, he'll be alright. Although he didn't show it, he's a genius," Naruto reassured his teammate. 'Still I should do something,' he thought.

"But still, he's fighting against ten Shinobi, possibly Jounins," she countered. "What if he decides to ditch us?"

"Even if he doesn't look like it, he's reliable." Before she could reply, he sighed and made a cross seal and poured more chakra than usual to his favorite jutsu. "Kage Bushin no jutsu." Four solid chakra-reinforced Bushins popped in. "Go aid Shikamaru," he ordered. "Our comrades are more important than the enemy; if they approach him kill them."

"Roger!" they saluted and went back to the lazy Genin to make sure that he did not actually die from his suicide mission.

"Satisfied?" he asked.

She looked unconvinced for awhile before remembering his fight against Neji. His Bushins were vastly improved from what they were before. She nodded and they continued their journey pursuing Sasuke.

"They stopped!" Pakkun exclaimed.

"Who?" Sakura asked as Naruto tried to figure out who had.

"The Uchiha boy and three other people," Pakkun said. "Wait there's another who smells like a bug."

"Shino?" they said as they looked at each other.

"How far they are from us?" Naruto asked.

"Providing they stop, we'll reach them in three minutes," Naruto nodded. "Two of the three sand Genins moved," the dog sniffed the air. "The Uchiha boy is after them. The bug boy helps him by handling the remaining Sand Genin."

"We'll let Shino handle the one. We need to reach Sasuke," Naruto said before he bounced from branches to branches faster than they thought he could. Using his agility he quickly left Pakkun and Sakura behind. His training had been far more grueling than one would expect and he had learned how to push his body beyond what he had thought his limits were.

"Naruto, wait up!" she shouted, but he didn't stop or slow down. She wondered when did he start to get this fast. He was leaving after images as he moved almost as if he teleported from branch to branch.

Naruto reached them in almost no time. When he noticed Sasuke seemed to be in pain as he gritted his teeth, he knew that something was up. Black markings were covering half his face. He noticed that the sand girl was hiding in... Fear? 'Fear of what or who?' he wondered. 'It does not matter right now. What have you gotten yourself into this time Sasuke-teme?'

Glancing at Gaara his eyes widened when he saw his form. He didn't look at all human anymore. His hand was altered into a monstrous hand made of sand. His face was filled with glee and madness. Now he knew what the girl afraid was of. Her own teammate would gladly kill her without a thought.

Gaara charged at Sasuke, but Naruto noticed that the dark haired boy was having difficulty as he clutched his neck. Gritting his teeth and berating Sasuke inwardly for his carelessness pursuing them without a thought, Naruto dashed to Gaara. Enforcing chakra on his fist he punched Gaara right on his face with his improved strength sending him slamming into the tree behind him and almost through it. Sasuke looked at him in surprise and there was a flicker of relief before it quickly died off. For a moment the Uchiha realized that he was over his head, not that he would eve admit it.

Naruto leaped back to where Sasuke was. The boy was already on his feet since he did not wanting to show weakness in front of his teammate.

"Need help?" Naruto asked his comrade.

Sasuke humphed and went back to his arrogant avenger mode. Naruto rolled his eyes at how quickly the guy could become an asshole. Naruto searched through the pockets for a bottle. He found it inside of his pouch. He opened in and extracted a small pill before throwing a pill to Sasuke who caught it and looked at him in quizzically as if he had never seen one before. "Soldier pill. You seem pretty out of chakra. And you better get rid of those black markings of yours. It seemed to feed off your chakra," Sasuke looked up in shock at what he said.

'But this grants me Power and he says its feeding on my chakra. How does he know,' Sasuke thought. He opened his mouth to speak. Before he could say anything they leaped from the branch that they previously stepped on as it was crushed by the redhead boy's hand.

Sakura showed up as they were avoiding Gaara's sand hand. Their eyes widened that their helpless teammate had shown up.

Before the two boys could react, Gaara launched a hand made of sand to the screaming girl and blasted her to a tree. She slipped into unconsciousness with the sand still holding her.

"Let her go!" the blond boy shouted angrily. Instead of answering the red head boy made his sand gripped her harder. "You bastard!" he launched himself to where the sand arm was, ready to cut them. Much to his surprise Gaara let it dissolve before he could cut it, leaving only the sand palm to where it was, around Sakura.

"If you want to hurt her, you should pass through me first." Naruto growled.

Sasuke looked at where she was before narrowing his eyes at Kaze-Kage's son. Temari, who understand that her brother was rapidly losing control to the raccoon demon sealed inside of him, quickly hid behind a tree rather far from him. She didn't want to be there while her brother was in deep blood lust. He cared not for friend or foe only for his blood to appease Shukaku.

"Naruto," Sasuke called. The Kyuubi's container turned quizzically. "I'll hold him off, you save Sakura. I will not allow anyone to hurt my friends."

The blond smiled at his friend. It was seldom for him to act like this. The only time Naruto remembered him doing something similar was in the Wave Country. It was nice to have him like this. Even if he knew it would not last long. Some times he was not a self absorbed bastard focused on revenge.

"Thanks, Sasuke," he paused. "But, I won't let you steal the spotlight anymore," he added with a chuckle. "Beside, you have to see your own condition. You seemed like you will faint in any moment. I will hold him off. You go save her."

"What..." Sasuke said before trailing off.

Naruto powered up till his bluish chakra was visible for them to see as it crackled around him. Sasuke, Gaara and Temari were startled to see that Naruto still had that much chakra to spare. "Tajyuu Kage Bushin no Jutsu!"

Hundreds of his clones popped in and covered the forest around them. There was no tree, trunks or branches seen without any clone on it. All of the Bushins poised in an attack stance. He would have been happier if they were all chakra reinforced clones, but he could not make that many and reinforce them at the same time.

The half transformed Gaara took a step back in shock. "W-who are you?" he asked.

Sasuke's and Temari's eyes widened at the sight of all of the Bushins. 'There is no way any Genin could have that much Chakra. It's just not human,' they had unknowingly echoed each others thoughts.

Naruto smirked and took a stance. "I am Uzumaki Naruto," he said with an echo in his voice.

They were off guard and it was the perfect time to attack. A distracted ninja is a dead ninja.

"GO!" he commanded.

Hundreds of Naruto's clones charged at the half transformed Gaara. Gaara took a step back in surprise, it seemed that he was unsure on what to do for an instant, but he made a decision in a moment. He formed hundreds of sand shuriken and sent them toward the clones.

As one they shouted, "Demon Cleaver, Soul Reaper!"

A ball of pure destructive energy formed in their hands. A jutsu Kyuubi had taught him or more accurately altered for him. It was a swirling ball of their separated chakra spiraling as many blades. An alteration on the attack his sensei had put him through his hellish training to learn to be able to use it. The modification would attack not just Gaara's Chakra, but thanks to Kyuubi the chakra of Shukaku as well. It did not require physical contact merely contact with his opponents Chakra. It would have been dangerous to anyone who used Chakra strings or infused their weapons with Chakra as even blocking would hurt them. The effect on a Bushin user like himself was that if his Bushin were not dispersed it would be fatal as the Chakra was still connected to the ninja and could be pulled out of the ninja through the Bushin.

Hundreds of Naruto clones met the shuriken with a jutsu that shredded them as if they were illusions as well as pulling the chakra for their use. A few of the clones were destroyed by the shuriken, but at least several dozen made contact with the sand construct. The sand was torn away as they drilled their way to Gaara. Gaara tried to command the sand that had been removed, but it was dormant as Naruto's Chakra had saturated it before leaving it unable to be altered by Chakra for the time being.

The sand rose out in a cloud from the strikes obscuring their view of the fight. While they could not see the fight, they heard Gaara screaming as his Chakra was violently ripped through the sand. It was pain and the container of Shukaku was a stranger to his own pain as his sand had always protected him.

Finally the sand cloud cleared. Sasuke and Temari watched in disbelief when they saw Gaara appeared to be in tremendous pain. The youngest of the Kaze-Kage's children was lucky to have had time to harden his sand barrier around his body. As that was the only thing that reduced the amount of damage the jutsu had caused or he would have had a destroyed body that would have been little more than a blood splatter on the ground.

'He hurt me in my weakest spot. He turned my sand against me. My strength became my weakness,' Gaara stared angrily at the blond. His form started to dissolve. Shukaku had screamed the whole time the jutsu had ripped into him. Now Gaara only heard whimpers of pain from his tenant. 'Mother! Mother why are you silent?'

'Impossible! That kid has done the impossible to Gaara,' Temari watched the event in morbid fascination.

Gaara fell forward in a dead faint and for the first time in his life slept without Shukaku attacking his sanity. It would be a very longtime until Shukaku could even form a thought let alone influence his container. The sand rat had been reduced to a shell shocked state as far back in Gaara's mind as possible.

"I guess it is a good thing your father is dead. If he was alive, he would have been killed for breaking that Law," Naruto said. "He will be able to sleep now; his condition will not prevent it anymore."

"You know..." Temari said.

"Yes I do," Naruto said. "I take it your father made a mistake or he would not have these problems?"

"He has always been like this... Wait a minute? What do you mean our father is dead?" Temari demanded.

"An S-class missing Ninja from Konoha known as Orochimaru has been masquerading as your father. I believe he is the leader of the Hidden Sound," Naruto said. "So your ally killed your leader, does that mean you will keep fighting or not?"

Naruto turned his head and looked at the stadium. He felt the massive surge that his sensei was using. He turned and looked up to the sky. 'Now how did I miss a few hundred foot long floating serpent raining lightning down on the invader and then gobbling the living ninja up to eat as they squirm as they are digested,' Naruto asked. 'I guess I should ask them.'

"So who is in charge of Suna while your kage is dead? Do you think whoever is in charge of the mission will surrender before they are all dead?" Naruto asked.

"What do you mean? We outnumber you. So the only factor is that Sound will have to be attacked next for their betrayal," Temari said full of confidence.

"I guess you didn't notice how many Sand Ninja are dead then," Naruto said with a dark chuckle. "Look up and be surprised."

It was the next morning and the night had been busy, very busy. If Jiraiya, Iruka or Kakashi had seen them they would have been passed out from blood loss. The bed had Naruto, Tsunade, Kurenai, Shizune, Kyuubi and Horus on it. Kurenai and Kyuubi were wrapped around Naruto then Shizune had her arms draped around the three with Tsunade holding the group and Horus wrapped his arms around Shizune and Tsunade. 'Hmm... It is rather strange that Shizune and Tsunade took so long to track us down and they did act far differently than I had imagined. I had expected them to be most annoyed... with us and not with the two women for leaving them behind. Still, Anko and Kurenai had accepted after some convincing sharing even if Anko had needed to be chained to the wall and disciplined to agree,' Horus thought. 'Naruto at least has learned when not to disagree with a woman and just nod his acceptance. Sometimes he makes me proud.'

He ran his hands over the women on the bed as they moaned in there sleep. Horus's thoughts turned back to the discussion last night. It had been interesting even by his standards. Still he looked at Anko and contemplated what to do before he had to leave.

'With the shrine at the Ho-Kage mansion, the girls readily accepted that I would visit often,' he thought. 'I do have a student to see how his progress goes. He had decided to wander through the shops to pick up the items he had ordered and then he would head to a nice simple shrine. If he had stayed he would have laughed even harder.

Konoha was left to the sight of Kiba running from dogs trying to mount him. He was humiliated in front of Hinata and had to keep running as they had almost mounted him the last time he had stood still. His screams echoed across the valley in pain. It would have only been worse for him if Kurenai-sensai had seen him. Then again, dog-boy would try to kill Naruto and Horus once he got discovered their scents on Kurenai.

'It was bad enough that Hinata-chan has a crush on Naruto,' Kiba thought. 'Still he has one on Sakura so he should not be going after my bitches.'

'Maybe tweaking it so that it changed so thats the male dogs thought he was female dog and in heat was bad?' Horus thought before he had an incite of what would happen in his absence.

Kiba would most likely end up a crying wreck when he did catch her scent on Naruto. The young Kitsune would be a lot more outgoing now. He had never forgotten that unlike every other damn kid his age that Hinata had always treated him nicely even if she was shy. So being the kind kid he was even if he had discovered he liked blood, sex and violence, he would help her out. He had lost most of his crush on Sakura on the trip and the encounters with Shizune and Tsunade had made him forget about her. Still he had fought Neji and had berated the Hyuuga for hurting her. "Meh... The brat deserved it," he said before vanishing after letting another evil laugh echo the village. 'It's not like the dogs are going to make him pregnant or something. Maybe he will end up catatonic since I think he was in lust with Kurenai? It's not like my student can't handle the dog-boy while I am gone. So what if more women go after my student, it's not like I have none and keeping up with those that are not just friends with benefits or casual sex partners does take up a good deal of my time. With his head cleared of his worries, Horus had simply locked on to a shrine and was going to go there. He had expected that it would take him to Japan as he had locked onto a fox shrine. His life never went to plan so why should it now.

He looked around when he arrived and just blinked. He was most definitely not in Japan and that landmark was not a figment of his imagination. At least he was where a phone would work, so he was not worried. He would try to figure out how he had ended up near Aires Rock anyways.

'First things first,' he thought. 'I have to call Trish. She could relay to the girls as they have been too exhausted to reach the dreamscape lately.' "Stupid Proving Ground and its interference," he muttered.

First things first he would get some lunch then check into a hotel. Maybe see some sights if it took long to book a flight. He had to pick up some souvenirs anyways. He was a sex addicted killing machine; that did not mean he was completely dense when it came to girls far from it actually.

'Boyfriend rule most important,' he thought. 'No matter if it was unplanned bring something so that the girlfriend knows you were not forgetting about her. Forgetting this rule and you will be making it up to her for a good long while.'

He shook his head and groaned as he remembered just how many girls he needed to shop for. He was comforted that at least those jutsu scrolls that the Senshi could use might count as gifts. He hoped so anyways. Hopefully nothing else would happen before he got back to Japan. Then again, knowing his luck he would run across something. One thing was certain his life never was boring.
