A/N 2: There is bestiality in this chapter. For those who don’t know, that is sexual relations between a human and an animal, or something similar. For those who don’t want to read it, I will be marking the appropriate section.
A/N 3: I’m sorry I’ve taken so long to update, and I’m sorry that you thought I abandoned you. I’ve been up to my backside in alligators, and this chapter simply did NOT want to be written. CHAPTER 14: THE PARTY
When Lilith and Alfred were wheeled into Hogsmeade, they were astonished at the sight that met their eyes. It seemed that there were tables of food and drink everywhere. Chains of flowers and leaves festooned every doorway and window, and wrapped around every tree.
In the town center, an oak tree that had been rather sickly looking had unfurled new growth. As they drew close to it, a face formed in the bark, and a branch lowered itself to stroke Alfred on the cheek. He smiled and batted it away.
The cart came to a stop next to a platform on the edge of the town center. The mayor stepped forward and assisted Lilith in stepping from the cart to the platform.
He then guided her to a chair that was set up, covered in velvet, with a table laden with food and drink next to it. She sat down carefully, settling the heavy doeskin garments around her. Alfred sat down next to her, and set down his antlers at his feet.
“Now all we have to do is wait for your sister and the terrible two,” he said, his eyes scanning the crowd.
“They’re coming,” Lilith said. She reached down and stroked the binding mark on her wrist, keeping herself calm until Astrid arrived.
Harry and his future spouses materialized out of the crowd. Draco had one arm around Harry, and the other around Ginny. Viktor was on Harry’s other side, with his free arm firmly embracing Hermione. Ginny, Hermione, and Harry were all carrying bottles, and none of them were any brand of butterbeer.
“Hiya Lilith!” Harry said cheerfully. “You shoulda seen Ickle Ronniekin’s face when he saw us together. It got worse when his mum and dad said it was okay by them. Ol’ Bumblebore is floating around somewhere, an’ I don’ trust the twinkles in his eyes.”
“I think you’ve had enough to drink,” Lilith said. “Why don’t you put the bottle down?”
“There’s still some in it,” Harry said, looking down at the bottle. “I don’t wan’ to waste it.”
“Okay,” Lilith said, laughing. “Just remember in the morning that I tried to stop you.”
“Okay,” Harry said agreeably, smiling. “You tried to stop me. Bye, now.” He turned, taking the other four with him, and disappeared into the crowd.
~*~*~*~
Harry and his lovers made their way to the edge of the party, and were settling down at a table to finish their bottles when Harry caught sight of a cloaked figure standing between two buildings. His scar gave a throb that was mercifully dulled by the wine he had already imbibed.
“I’ll be right back,” Harry said. He straightened up, picked up his bottle, and headed for the cloaked figure.
“Hi, Tom,” he said as he drew closer. Two cloaked figures behind the first drew wands, but the first person raised a hand and the wands were lowered.
“Have a drink, Tom,” Harry said, taking a swig from the bottle and offering it to the lead figure.
“You seem to be enjoying yourself, Harry,” Voldemort said. “Since we are both here, I have a proposition for you.” He accepted the offered bottle and took a drink before handing the bottle back to his companions.
“I have one for you,” Harry said. “Leave every Hogwarts student alone for the length of my years at school, which includes not recruiting them, and I won’t fight against you.”
“You offer me victory for the sake of some witches and wizards that you barely know?” Voldemort was intrigued, especially since it was similar to what he was going to offer, but he wanted to know Harry’s reasons.
“Yes,” Harry said. “The last war even bled over to the children, and I’ve been told that my class at Hogwarts, the three before it, and the one after it, were the smallest ever. I don’t want the Wizarding world to die off. That’s why I want you to leave my generation alone.”
“So anyone who was a Hogwarts student while you were is to be left alone?” Voldemort questioned. “What if they approach me of their own will?”
“That’s fine,” Harry said. “No recruiting, though, and that includes parents pressuring their children. Give them what you and I didn’t have, Tom. Give them a chance to be children.”
“Your terms are accepted,” Voldemort said. “I presume that you do not want mercy for any adults.”
“Just my father and my adopted sisters,” Harry said. “But I know that Astrid and you have a good relationship. My father told me that he told you what we found out.”
“That did clear up a few mysteries,” Voldemort admitted. “I did seem to remember Lily Evans married to Severus, and that she hated Potter.”
“It’s nice to know,” Harry said. “We should seal this.”
“Yes,” Voldemort said. He held out his hand, and one of the two people behind him handed him a small knife. Voldemort used the knife to cut a gash in his hand. While the blood welled up and began to drip on the ground, he handed the knife to Harry.
Harry used the knife to cut his own hand, and held it out to his nemesis. Voldemort took his hand in a tight grip, and looked him directly in the eyes.
“Blood to blood,” he said. “Double bound by blood, an oath stronger than any other.”
“Blood to blood,” Harry acknowledged. “Against those who would destroy the Wizarding world, and the lives of its children.”
“Pact!” both of them said at once. They both felt a burning sensation, and when they separated, they bore identical scars on their hands.
“Bellatrix,” Voldemort said, looking over his shoulder. “Tell everyone. No witch or wizard who is currently a Hogwarts student, or was one in the last five years may be attacked or recruited. They are off-limits.”
“Yes, My Lord,” Bellatrix said. “May I say something to him, My Lord?”
“Do not antagonize him, Bella,” Voldemort said.
“I will not,” she said. “Severus told us the truth, Antarean. I wanted you to know that I regret what happened to my cousin. He was not to be harmed, that night. I was only trying to get him out of the way. I wanted to take it back the moment that I saw him fall through the Veil. The only good news is that I am still alive. I believe that My Lord’s daughter is correct, and that somewhere Sirius is alive. She did point out that we only have the Ministry’s word for what the Veil is for.”
“We all know what that’s worth,” Harry said. “Apology accepted. You can make up for it by finding a spell or potion that will make the Longbottoms sane again. You made their son an orphan, and that’s unacceptable.”
“You conditions are accepted,” Bellatrix said. “I will make it right, no matter how long it takes.”
“Good,” Harry said. “Excuse me, I have to get back to my wives and husbands. See you around, Tom.” He handed the knife back to Voldemort and then turned away to walk back to the table.
~*~*~*~*~
Astrid, Severus and Max portkeyed back to the steps of Hogwarts. They looked towards town, and Astrid smiled.
“Your son is drunk, my love,” she told Severus. “He’s also made a pact with father. Dumbledore has now lost the war. He just doesn’t know it, yet.”
“We should get down there,” Snape said. “I don’t want to miss the look on the Master Manipulator’s face when he realizes that he’s been manipulated.”
“Let’s get walking,” Max said.
“What kind of wizard are you?” Astrid demanded. “Portkey or broom?”
“Broom,” Snape said. “Accio Comet!”
Snape’s broom came flying out the doors of the castle and came to rest next to him. As Max summoned his own broom, Astrid held out her hand to catch her Nimbus 2001 as it came flying to her. The three of them mounted the brooms and headed across the lake to Hogsmeade.
When they arrived in town, they left their brooms at the Three Broomsticks and headed towards the crowd of townspeople and Hogwarts students and staff. Astrid kept a tight grip on the sword while she looked around.
Finally, she spotted a cloaked figure near where Harry and his partners were sitting and went straight towards it.
In the shadows of the building, Voldemort embraced his daughter and nodded to Severus and Max. He smiled at her as she handed him the wrapped up sword.
“Keep it secret, Father,” she said. “The less Dumbledore knows, the better off we all are. He may have Gryffindor’s sword, but the last one to wield it was Severus’ son.”
“My thanks, daughter,” Voldemort said. “When should I leave?”
“Lilith has to talk to every Evans here,” Astrid said. “I’ll make sure she comes to you, first. I’ve seen several Aurors lurking about. I think they’re expecting you to try to crash the party.”
“What a pity that we must disappoint them,” he said. “I have made promises to Severus’ son, and I may not break them.” He showed them the scar on his palm.
“Watch the fun, Father,” Astrid said. “Dumbledore’s about to be shown the error of his ways.”
She beckoned to Severus and Max, and led the way through the party to the platform where Lilith and Alfred were sitting. She led the way to the end of the platform and mounted the steps that put her on the platform with her sister.
“Lady Castlemoor,” she said, inclining her head.
“Lady Darkshire,” Lilith said, rising to her feet.
People closest to them heard her formal address, and turned to see what was going on. Others turned to see what they were looking at, and so on, until most of the crowd was watching, and Dumbledore came to the front of the crowd, with James Potter behind him.
Astrid pulled a small flint knife out of her girdle and made a shallow slice across her palm. She looked at Lilith and offered her the knife.
Lilith took the knife and copied her twin’s action, making a diagonal cut on her own hand. She let the knife drop to the platform as she reached out with her bloody hand to take Astrid’s hand.
“Alliance!” they both said at once. A white light flared around them briefly, and when it faded, there was a wreath of columbine flowers around their clasped hands. They both grasped the wreath with the other hand, and then raised their bloodied hands, now marked with a silver line, to the eyes of the crowd.
“The Gryffindor-Slytherin feud is over!” Astrid cried out.
A shout of approval rose from the assembled witches and wizards, and Astrid looked down into the blue eyes of Albus Dumbledore. She met his cold stare with one of her own. Behind him, James Potter looked as though he had just seen someone steal something that he thought should be his.
Astrid put her arms around her sister, and whispered to her that their father was waiting, and couldn’t leave until Lilith gave him leave.
Lilith nodded against Astrid’s mouth, acknowledging that she would make certain that their father did not become prey for one of the Aurors that were prowling about.
Astrid sat in Lilith’s chair while her sister began to make the rounds of the celebrants, heading towards the shadowed area where Voldemort and his guards waited.
***** *****
Hours had passed and the crowd was thinning out. Some of the partying wizards and witches had taken rooms at the Three Broomsticks, some were staying with friends in town, and the Hogwarts students and staff had mostly drifted back to the school.
Astrid was still sitting in Lilith’s chair, but she was leaning against Severus, drowsing. She could hear the two of them talking quietly, looking forward to telling their children about what they had just experienced. She rubbed her cheek against his shoulder, and was pleased to feel his hand squeeze her knee in response.
Finally, she felt Lilith approach them. She raised her head and opened her eyes.
“I’m going for a run in the forest,” Lilith said. “Why don’t you three go up to the Manor? It will recognize you since you’re my sister, and since we made the Alliance.”
“I saw Dumbledore headed that way a while ago,” Harry spoke up from the edge of the platform. “Can I go up to the manor, too?”
“Wait,” Astrid said, sitting up straight. “Dumbledore went up to the Manor?”
“Yes,” Harry said. “Why?”
Max climbed to his feet, dragging Severus to his, as well.
“The Evans family tapestry is at the Manor!” Max said. “Dumbledore’s going to try to alter it so Harry and Severus can’t find out the truth!”
The ten of them made their way to Castlemoor Manor, where the doors were wide open, and lights burned in several of the ground floor windows.
Lilith led the way to the study, where the family tapestry was hung. They found Dumbledore at the entrance to the room, wand in hand, trying to understand why the doors would not open for him.
“Can I do something for you, Headmaster?” Lilith asked.
Dumbledore turned to face the two witches, both wearing their doeskin robes and flower crowns, with their three wizards behind them, each carrying a stag antler headdress.
“I was wondering,” he said. “These doors, of all the doors on the ground floor, will not open to me.”
“That’s because they only open for the Lady or Lord until told otherwise,” Lilith told him. “Is there something I can help you with?”
“I was curious to see the Evans tapestry,” he said. “Your mother Elizabeth always maintained that Lily was her cousin. I wanted to finally see if it was true. Lord Harold didn’t like me much, and I was never welcomed to the Manor.”
Smiling mischievously, Astrid moved forward and put her hands on the doors to the study. She hoped that, as the sister of the Lady, the Manor would do as it was told. She silently willed it to hide the tapestry until the next time the doors were closed.
She turned the handles and opened the doors, displaying the recently cleaned study to the eyes of the Headmaster. There was indeed a tapestry on the far wall, but it depicted the town, the lake, Hogwarts, and the forest surrounding them.
Dumbledore stood still, shocked. He had expected to find the family tapestry and remove Lily, Harry, and Snape from it. Now, he would have to look elsewhere for the lineage, and destroy what he could. The genealogy books at Hogwarts could not be altered in any fashion. The founders were too smart for that.
“I would like to be informed, Miss Evans,” he said. “When you do find the Evans family tapestry.”
“Of course, Headmaster,” Lilith responded. “Would you like me to make sure that there is transportation back to the castle for you?”
“No thank you, my dear,” Dumbledore said, smiling at her. “I was going to floo from here to my office, if you don’t mind.”
“Not at all,” Astrid said, smiling at him. “Have a pleasant day, Headmaster, and we’ll all be back at the castle in time for dinner.”
“Very well,” Dumbledore said, still smiling. “Enjoy yourselves.” He walked over to the fireplace, threw a handful of floo powder into it, called out “Hogwarts Headmaster’s Office” and disappeared in a swirl of green flames.
“Why don’t you three go upstairs?” Lilith said. “I just want a bit of a run, and then I’ll be up, too.”
“Where’s Alfred?” Max asked. “The last we saw, he was with you.”
“He went off somewhere,” Lilith said, leading the way out of the study and towards the stairs. “He said he’d see me here at the Manor. He’s probably already upstairs.”
“We’ll keep him warm if he is,” Astrid promised. “Have a nice run, Lil, and keep away from those male unicorns. They don’t have a rutting season, you know.”
“I’ll be careful,” Lilith promised. She left them at the stairs and headed towards the back of the Manor.
“What did you mean, male unicorns?” Severus asked as the three of them went up the stairs.
“Lilith’s main animagus form is a unicorn,” Astrid said.
Max stopped on the stairs and turned around to look at her in surprise.
“Are you serious?” he asked. When Astrid nodded, he and Severus both grinned at one another, and then started laughing.
“I’m in desperate need of a good joke, myself,” Astrid said. “When you two boys are through laughing, I’ll be in bed.” She passed Max and made her way down the long hall to the Lord’s chamber, their laughter echoing behind her.
When they came into the bedroom, Astrid was in the middle of the massive bed, clad in nothing but a nearly sheer green silk nightgown. They both stopped still, spellbound by her appearance.
“What was so funny?” she asked them.
Still tongue-tied, Max moved forward, shedding his clothing as he went, leaving Severus to answer.
“Alfred is an animagus,” Severus said, carefully removing his own robes. “He turns into a unicorn.”
Astrid stared at him in surprise for a moment before she started laughing.
~*~*~*~*~
Lilith stepped out of the back doors of the Manor, and began walking through the gardens. She reached the end of the formal gardens easily, and then stepped through a gate and into the edges of the surrounding forest.
She looked down at her feet, and then closed her eyes and willed the change.
Within seconds, Lilith Evans-Tyler stood on four golden hooves and tossed her white head, making her horn bob. The only sign that she was not a normal unicorn was one pinkish lock of her silver mane, mute testament to her dark auburn tresses in human form.
She looked around to get her bearings, and then headed into the forest, first at a quick trot, and then at a full gallop, weaving through the trees at high speed.
Several minutes into her run, she became aware of two other sets of hoof beats. She paused for a moment and looked behind her. There were two male unicorns running towards her as fast as they could.
Without knowing what impulse drove her, and without trying to examine the impression, Lilith reared up and then started running again.
For a long time, she heard the hoof beats behind her. Then, one dropped away and she only heard a single set. Finally, even that set dropped away.
Without any warning, one of the males appeared right in front of her.
“I caught you,” he said unnecessarily.
He was a striking specimen, even as unicorns went. Instead of the normal blue or dark brown eyes, his were a startling silver color. His flowing silver mane had a lock of silver gilt in it, similar to Astrid’s hair. Across his face were four parallel diagonal scars that radiated magic. This unicorn had been attacked by a wizard, and not too long ago. The scars were well healed, but had not faded beyond a pale silver.

While she was studying him, he moved closer to her and nuzzled right beneath her left ear.
“I caught you,” he said again, as if it was significant. His breath and the touch of his nose underneath her ear made her giddy, and made a familiar ache grow inside her.
His nose moved from beneath her ear to travel down the ridge of her neck, nibbling with his lips and licking as he went. She felt her head whirl and her legs felt weak. Running, or even walking, away was out of the question.
He continued licking down her spine, and flicked his tail in her face. With senses she did not possess in her original form, she inhaled his scent, and somehow, it made her even more aroused than she already was.
He spent several moments licking the base of her tail, and then she felt him nose under her tail, and lick at her there.
She felt herself spasm, and her head spun for a moment as every nerve in her body seemed to explode in pleasure. She had never realized that unicorns were orgasmic before, and they obviously did not engage in sex only when in season.
While she was still giddy, she felt more movement behind her, and then a weight settled on her hindquarters. At the same time, she felt herself entered.
She knew intellectually that unicorns were the same size as horses, genitally speaking, but since she was in her animagus form, she was correspondingly larger. He fit into her in much the same way that Alfred or Maximillian, or even Severus did. The sensation of being filled was the same, and so were the little shocks of pleasure she got as he pumped in and out of her.
Just as when she was with a man, the pleasure built steadily, setting her nerves tingling. She felt like keening in pleasure. She was surprised to hear odd sounds and realize that they were coming from her.
Finally, she felt herself spasm again, and felt her partner jet into her, pumping extra hard while he did so. After that, he seemed to soften, and he slipped out of her, climbing off of her as he did so.
She opened her eyes to see the other male unicorn standing less than five feet away. He was almost identical to the first, except for the absence of scars, and his eyes. This male’s eyes were a startling cobalt blue.
The unicorn that had just coupled with her stepped between them, lowering his horn at the other male aggressively.
“Mine,” he said.
“Mine, too,” the other male objected. “I chased her, too.”
“I caught her,” the first male stated. “Mine.”
“Share?” the second male asked.
Lilith was receiving an education into the mating habits of unicorns that she was not sure she wanted. Did male unicorns share?
“Share?” the first male queried. The second male took several steps forward and coquettishly twined his neck under the first male’s neck.
“Share,” he said, a bit more firmly. He pressed himself against the first male in what could be considered a seductive fashion.
After a few moments, the first male grunted, and then turned to Lilith, who was still where she had been. He approached her and started nuzzling under her ear again. While he had her distracted, the second male walked around her and started nuzzling under her tail.
Lilith barely noticed the nuzzling under her tail, and she made no move to stop the second male from mounting her and shagging her as thoroughly as the first had.
After the second male had finished, he moved away from her a bit, only to be approached by the first male. The first male didn’t nuzzle his ear as he had with her, or nuzzle down his spine. He nuzzled directly under the tail immediately, and then mounted the second male with no hesitation.
The second male squealed as he was entered, but then appeared to enjoy it as much as his partner. The two of them squealed in pleasure with each thrust, encouraging each other. It reminded Lilith of the first time she had seen Max make love to Severus.
While they were busy, she quietly turned and headed back to the Manor.

Alfred staggered into the back door of the Manor just before dawn. He stumbled up the stairs and followed the feeling of his bond-mates to the Lord’s chamber. He quickly stripped off his clothes and climbed into bed, wrapping his arms around Lilith.
His last thought before he succumbed to fatigue was that no one was ever going to believe that he had shagged a female unicorn, and been shagged by a male, all in one night.
