Day 7 -Sunday, June 17, 2002
                The alarm goes off at an ungodly hour. I turn off the alarm and roll onto my stomach and bury my face. I don’t want to get up, for so many reasons. The main one stirring beside me.
                “Blimey it’s early.” he mumbles.
                I grin at this and stretch. Groaning I sit up and go to the restroom to pee, brush my teeth and hair, and wash my face. I come back in the room as Charlie is heading to the restroom.
                “Be right back” he says as he grabs my fingers and gives a little squeeze.
                While he’s in the restroom I get out the note I had written to him. I know we have a plan but I want him to have it anyway. A lot can happen in a month. Hell, look what happened in a week! If he finds someone, I do want him to be happy, I make no guarantee that I won’t be heartbroken but what are you going to do? I take the note, fold it, and slip it into the pocket of his jeans. I’m almost dressed by the time he comes back and I’ve got everything packed. We don’t say anything. Just make sure everything is packed and ready to go. My scheduled taxi will be here in 15 minutes and I still have to check out.
                We go down stairs and Charlie carries my bags even though I said I could do it. I check out and we wait at the door for my Taxi which comes right on time. We ride in the taxi holding hands but not talking. Tears are just below the surface. I’m at the airport by 6:00. Time seems to be speeding by. We walk into the brightly lit building and I stop dead in my tracks. I turn to look at Charlie who is grinning ear to ear.
                In front of me stand George, Draco, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley.
                “What…”
                George comes up to me and gives me a hug. “Charlie wanted to give you a proper send off, it’s what family does.”
                They all walk me to security. They can’t go any farther. They all hug me in turn and I am fighting to keep the tears from coming. I thank each of them for coming. Mrs. Wesley kisses my cheek and a tear escapes. The all stand there smiling at me and it’s incredible.
                Charlie walks me as far as he can and hugs me tight to his chest. My breath hitches and I let out a single sob.

Charlie’s POV
                My family came through. I see them as soon as we walk in. When I had gone home to shower the night before I talked to mum and dad about it. They got in touch with Ron and George. Ron got a hold of Harry and Draco. Gina has talked about her mom a lot and I can tell they were close. She’s mentioned family a lot also. I thought it would be a nice send off.
                Everyone hugs her. It gives me a warm feeling to see my family accept her they way they have and after only one or so times of seeing her. I walk her as far as I can and pull her towards me. She tries to hold back the tears, but it doesn’t work.
                I stroke her hair and say nothing. There is nothing to say. I don’t even want to hear that it will be ok or that I’ll see her soon. We stand that way for a long time. My family to the side watching us and whispering to each other. Finally security person says that she has to go. I take her face in my hands and I kiss her. A long, slow kiss while wiping the tears off of her face with my thumbs.
                “I’ll see you in a month.” I whisper to her as I press my forehead against hers.
                “I can’t wait.” she whispers back.
                She steps through some kind of arch thing and is waved through. She gets to a door that I assume will lead her to her plane. She stops and looks back at me and waves with a sad smile and then steps through the door and she’s gone. Is this how she feels when I disapperate? My chest has tightened and it’s hard to breath.
                Mum and Hermione come up on either side of me. Mum links her arm through mine and Hermione takes my hand.
                She’s gone.
