AN: Switching POV around a bit

Severus' POV
I felt as if I simply had to ask her, even if I already suspected the answer. Her reaction had confirmed my suspicions, but I wanted to hear her say it out loud. I was surprised that Black hadn't asked her, it seemed like the thing he would do. 'So it is true, you're an elemental?' I asked.

'Alexandra I forbid you to answer that question.' It was Mr Zabini who had returned to the school. I got up as soon as I saw him. He came at me in a very intimidating way, drawing his wand. 'Papa stop this!' Alex tried. 'Who asked you to inquire about this?' he asked, still holding me at wandpoint. I suddenly realised that Alex had once told me her father was the head of the auror department, which felt all the more threatening now. 'No one, I just wanted to know.' He looked as if he didn't believe a word I said.
I was sure that he was planning to curse me. I noticed that a thin wall of ice was forming between us, it was enough to make Mr. zabini lower his wand a little, and look at his daughter.

Alexandra's POV
My father had Severus at wandpoint, and I felt the panic rise. I would not allow my father to hurt Severus. I searched for my wand, but found that it was no where to be seen. I had to try to get up, but my legs felt weak. Madam Pomfrey had told me that this was to be expected. Not wanting to distract Severus, or make an unexpected move, I could only think of only one thing that would both get my father's attention, and protect Severus. I focused very hard on the air in between my father's wand tip, and Severus' face. I felt proud of myself for only conjuring up a thin wall of ice, not the blizzard I usually did when I panicked. This caused Severus to take a step back, I took the opportunity to grab his arm and pull myself to a standing position. My father looked at me in shock. He'd forbidden me to use my powers anywhere but home, at least until I mastered full control of them.
Although my knees shook, I squared my shoulders, and still holding on to Severus' arm, I went to stand in front of him, so my father couldn't reach him without hexing me first.

Sirius’s POV
I saw Lex' father arrive at Hogwarts from the windowsill I was sitting on in the common room. I wanted to confront Mr. Zabini with the research I had done about elementals, for I was sure that Lex was one of them. When I arrived at the hospital wing, however, I found that Mr. Zabini had Snape at wandpoint, a thin layer of ice creating a shield in between them. In noticed Lex' struggle to get to her feet, and her brave stance in between her father and Snape. I was surprised at how much it hurt me that she would take a curse for Snape again. Mr Zabini looked furious, it was clear he didn't appreciate Lex' show of power. I thought I was the only one who could see how much of an effort she was putting in staying on her feet. Her knees were shaking badly, and it seemed like her legs would give away any second. I decided to announce my presence. 'Mr Zabini I don't think the headmaster would appreciate it if you hurt one of his students without a valid reason.' Mr Zabini seemed to come to his senses, and directed his attention to me.

Severus' POV
I had never been happier than at that moment to hear Black's voice. He broke the staring competition between Mr Zabini and Alex. As Mr Zabini directed his attention to Black, I could sit Alex back on the bed. I was sure if she had to stand longer than she already had, her legs were going to give out. 'You have nerve Mr Black, returning here while you're the one responsible for my daughter's condition.'
'Which one, the fact that she's in here, or that she is an elemental? Because, forgive me if I'm wrong, but according to my research, she was born one, so I can't take the blame for that, as for her other condition, you’ll find that except for the weakness in her legs, she’s fine.'

I unconsciously took Alex' hand in mine, it seemed to calm her when she had been in her coma, and I hoped it would have the same effect now that she was awake. It seemed it did, as she let out the breath that she'd been holding. She motioned for Black to join us, which he was on the verge of doing anyway. 'I overheard you talking about it with Madam Pomfrey, so I researched it, you have no one to blame but yourself.' he added to Alex' father.

Mr Zabini looked at Alex, myself and Black, who had taken a seat at the other side of Alex, taking her other hand. I noticed her closing her eyes for a moment when he did. I felt a small jolt of energy coursing trough our hands, the strongest one I had ever felt, it was like the current I had been able to feel when Alex was in her come was back, but was on full force now, because she had recovered. 'Could you boys just leave us alone?' Mr Zabini asked. I looked at Alex, waiting for her to tell me to leave, I saw Black doing the same, we were both reluctant to leave her. Alex let go of our hands, and hugged me. 'It's okay, go' she whispered. She then turned to Black and hugged him as well. It bothered, me as usual that they were this close.

'I'll see you tomorrow.' Alex said out loud, so we both left.

Alexandra's POV
As the door on closed after Severus and Sirius, I fully expected my father to rant at me for using my powers in front of an audience, and in the school. Instead he sat down on the chair next to my bed, looking rather resigned.

'I'm sorry darling, I got your memories, I got here as soon as I could.' I had almost forgotten that I had Reg send my father the memories of my brief meeting with Dumbledore. 'Thank you for giving me those, I'd say try to avoid the headmaster as much as possible. He said. I nodded, letting him know I understood, and would do so. 'I heard the boy asking you, and tried to protect you.' I avoided meeting his eyes, I was afraid I would see his disappointment in them. I was so sure I had let him down, Severus and Sirius had learned of my secret, and I was sure my father wouldn't believe me if I told him I had not revealed anything about it to them.

'When did you find out that you found anchors here at Hogwarts, and why was I not informed?' my father wanted to know. I frowned at him, of course I had felt the magic when both boys touched me. ‘is it possible?’ I asked him. ‘Alexandra dear, I could feel the effects of the anchor magic the moment you touched. It’s not only possible, it’s real.’ He said.
