A/N:
Deftheawesomeone: Thank you so much for your review! I can’t believe that you used to read my old stuff. I started writing HP fanfiction back in 2004 (before the 6th and 7th books had even come out), and I go back and reread some of the stories again now and cringe the whole time, wondering why anybody ever thought they were any good. But I’m glad you were a fan and hopefully my new stuff is a bit more up to snuff. 😊
Again, I am so sorry about the delay on this. I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I posted chapter 14. I have had most of this chapter written out since I posted Chapter 2, but I needed to add/change a couple of things and for some reason, I just couldn’t get it out right. I’ve finally gotten it sorted though. 😊
This is the last chapter. Thank you so much to all my amazing reviewers. You have all been so incredible and encouraging and have really made writing the story a pleasure, especially my repeat reviewers (Smile, Hedwig, OnYourTongue, Nari-Chan, Billy Green, DB1 and OceanGirl).
I hope you all have enjoyed reading as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it, but I do have two other stories in the works (and more in my head) so don’t worry, I’ll still be around. 😊

Chapter 15
‘They’re beautiful, aren’t they?’
Hermione’s eyes darted to the blonde who had appeared by her side and she smiled, looking back towards the couple dancing together in the middle of the ballroom. ‘They are,’ she agreed. ‘You’ve really outdone yourself.’
Draco smirked. ‘Only the best for the daughter of the Minister for Magic.’
Hermione gave him a wry smile and looked around at the extravagantly decorated ballroom of Malfoy Manor. ‘I hardly think you would have been half so generous if not for the fact that she was marrying your son.’
He shrugged and took a sip of his drink as they both continued to watch the bride and groom dance slowly together. It was getting late in the evening now and it was a slow, close dance and Hermione’s heart felt so full watching the two together. Her daughter, Rose, who had finished school and now grown out of the awkward teenage phase that she herself had had, looked stunning in her white wedding dress robes, and the look of pure adoration on her face for her new husband made her look even more radiant.
It was a look that was matched in Scorpius’s face as he looked at Rose. Draco and Astoria’s only child was a perfect mixture of the two. He was handsome and clever like his father and also sweet and a bit shy like his mother. It was no wonder that Rose fell for him.
They had been friends since childhood and attended Hogwarts together, in the same year as Harry’s son Albus—who had been Scorpius’s best man—and even though they were in different houses and of different parentage, they persevered through it all and were now showing the wizarding world that blood no longer mattered to any respectable wizard.
She looked back over at Draco and melted at the look in his eyes. His only son, the heir to the Malfoy line, a Pureblood, had just married the daughter of a Muggle-born and a Weasley and Draco actually looked pleased about it. She smiled again and then pushed herself up to give him a quick and chaste peck on the cheek.
He took another sip of his drink and then looked around. ‘Follow me,’ he said gruffly.
She looked around as well. ‘And why is that?’ she asked softly.
‘Are you really asking that, Granger?’ he asked with a dark smile on his face and she suddenly felt tingles warm her belly—more than any of the alcohol had done. Even at just shy of fifty years of age, Draco was still a very handsome man.
She let him walk away first and then followed behind, but not too closely until they reached the top of the stairs where she fell in step with him.
As he stopped and opened the door to a very familiar room, Hermione’s heart fluttered in anticipation of what was to happen and she let herself in. She looked around the room and her eyes fell upon a figure standing by the window, who turned around and with a big smile said, ‘Hermione.’
Hermione’s heart soared the way it always did when Astoria said her name—like a happy sigh—and she walked over to the witch, immediately taking her into her arms and giving her a kiss.
‘I’ve been waiting for ages,’ Astoria said as she pulled away, whining past Hermione to Draco who had walked in after her and closed the door. Hermione had noticed that Astoria had disappeared from the ballroom a while ago but thought that she was just tired from the activities of the day.
‘I had to wait for an opportune time,’ he said, and then pressed himself against Hermione’s back, dipping his head to her neck to leave a wake of kisses that seemed to scorch her skin.
It had been a while since she had been with either of them and even longer since she had been with both of them as she had been so busy with work and helping Rose with the wedding. She looked into Astoria’s eyes and said, ‘I need you.’
Astoria’s smile lit up her face and then she kissed Hermione hungrily as the two of them pushed her towards the bed. As Hermione was slowly stripped of her dress robes by the Malfoys, she felt an overwhelming sense of happiness that she always seemed to feel when she was with her lovers.
0000000000
It had been Astoria’s illness that had pushed Hermione back into the Ministry. The book that Hermione had found, ‘Muggle Ailments,’ was an old book that she had been serendipitous enough to have found at a small secondhand bookshop in some tiny town in Northern England just after the war. Looking through it, she had found that it had originally been a part of the Healer curriculum so she had been surprised that there was so much information that the Healers at St Mungo’s hadn’t known or suggested and she wondered why it was no longer used.
Looking into it, she had found that many years ago, someone who had an intense dislike for Muggles and Muggle-borns, and who donated more than half the budget of St Mungo’s for a place on the board, and who also liaised with the Ministry, had pushed out any Muggle teaching in St Mungo’s and in the education of the healers. They were not allowed under these constitutions to study Muggle scientific practices or diseases.
When Hermione had mentioned this to Astoria and Draco, they had agreed to let her take Astoria to a Muggle General Practitioner and within just a few weeks, she was diagnosed with a rare genetic blood disease that meant that she couldn’t process iron properly. Though not technically a Muggle disease, it was not well understood in the wizarding world, and though it was known that it did exist, they had yet to develop a treatment, apart from Make the patient comfortable.
Though not curable, Astoria was prescribed several Muggle tablets a day to treat her symptoms and within a few weeks she was nearly back to her old self. She still got tired sometimes, and especially the emotional drain of a day like today, she was bound to get tired earlier and call it quits before midnight, but she was far better off than she had been before.
Reluctantly, Hermione had left MZE to go back to work for the Ministry to try to find a way to make changes to the Healer Curriculum and the way that they were taught about Muggle science. She still consulted with Draco and Blaise on certain potions, and still received her annual bonus from the potions that she had created in the time that she worked for them, but she threw herself fully into making changes that would be better for the wizarding populace of Britain.
Astoria’s illness was also a catalyst for Draco, who finally did what his parents wanted and started to throw the Malfoy fortune around in politics, albeit to undo what they later found out was legislation that Lucius himself had enacted in the first place. Hermione remembered when her changes were finally put before the Ministers, and Draco speaking passionately about the need for Muggle science to be taught to Healers at St Mungo’s, explaining that his own wife would have died from a completely treatable condition if they had not found out what it really was.
And now, all these years later, Astoria was still with them and Hermione had worked hard and eventually become the Minister for Magic—and had also abolished the absolutely archaic wedding laws and made sure that partners were equal in a marriage.
And after months of stress and hard work for this wedding, they could finally all relax in each other’s arms.
0000000000
A couple hours later, Hermione sighed and rolled off the bed, much to the annoyance of her partners. She had first been shagged by Astoria and Draco, sandwiched between the two with Astoria below her, postioned in a way so that every time that Draco shoved into Hermione from behind, she would grind down against Astoria until they had all came hard, panting and moaning against each other.
When a knock at the door introduced Pansy and Blaise to the room, Draco had announced his intention to leave and go find Harry, and Hermione found herself once again in the arms of her lovers. In the midst of this, another knock and one broad-shouldered red-head later, and the five took turns giving each other as much pleasure as they could muster.
‘Do you really need to go?’ Pansy whined as Hermione put on her dressing gown.
‘I’ll be back. I just need to go say goodbye to Rose,’ Hermione said. ‘Draco pulled me away before I could.’
Astoria smiled and said, ‘I’ll see you out,’ and threw on her own dressing gown, taking Hermione’s arm in hers and taking her to the door. Hermione opened it and took a step into the hall, intent to find her daughter, but Astoria followed and grabbed her hand, looking up and down the hall before pulling her in for a hug. ‘Hurry back, love.’
‘I will,’ Hermione said, hugging Astoria closer to herself. ‘I just need to say goodbye. I know you already spoke to Scorpius before you went to bed, but I just need to see her before they leave tomorrow morning.’
Astoria rested her head on Hermione’s shoulder. ‘So now that this is all over, does it mean that you can come back to Afternoon Tea? We’ve missed you.’
Hermione kissed Astoria’s hair. ‘Yes,’ she said. ‘It just so happened that every wedding planning item that needed to happen was on a Saturday.’ She sighed, as she had really missed seeing them lately.
‘Good,’ Astoria pulled back and then smiled. ‘Run along then. I’m not sure how much longer I can keep Pansy off of Charlie.’
Hermione snorted. ‘She’s been asking about him for ages, just let her at him.’
Astoria’s hands ran down her back and then caressed her bum, giving it a quick squeeze. ‘I love you,’ she said, and Hermione looked into her deep dark eyes and smiled.
‘I love you, too,’ she said, bringing her own hand up to lightly run a finger over Astoria’s nipple through her robe and she moaned softly. ‘So much.’
They both smiled and kissed each other again, and it would have probably gone on for quite some time if not for the shocked exclamation to come from the top of the stairs in the form of a bushy red-haired witch in a white wedding dress.
‘Mum?!’
0000000000
Rose had just walked out of the ballroom when she nearly ran straight into a tall and handsome blonde who was making his way back into the ballroom from the stairs.
‘Ah, Mrs Granger-Weasley…Malfoy?’ her father-in-law said, and Rose couldn’t help but chuckle.
‘That’s quite a mouthful, isn’t it?’ she said. ‘I think I’ll just stick with Malfoy.’
He raised a perfectly arched eyebrow. ‘Just Malfoy?’ he said. ‘Deviating from tradition. What will your mother think?’
She shrugged and smiled. ‘I was actually looking for my mother, do you know where she’s gone?’
He smiled wryly. ‘I think I saw her go upstairs. Maybe to speak to Astoria?’
Rose’s eyes lit up. ‘Oh, I must speak to her as well and thank her again for this,’ she said, twirling her dress robes around a bit.
Draco smiled at her. ‘They suit you very well.’
‘Well, when your mother-in-law is a world-renowned dress robe designer, it really can’t be helped.’ She looked up at him again and he was looking at her with a kind of far-off smile on his face. ‘What is it?’ she asked.
He gave a light chuckle. ‘Sorry, I was just thinking about when Scorpius was born, or just after. Astoria wasn’t well at all, and we actually thought for a while that we might lose her, until your brilliant mother figured out what was wrong with her.’
Rose automatically put a hand out and put it onto his arm. ‘Scorpius told me that she had been quite ill.’
He looked up at her. ‘Astoria made me promise that when Scorpius got married, that it wasn’t to—and I quote—an uppity Pureblood bitch.’
Rose let out an involuntary laugh. ‘Did she really?’
‘Yes,’ he said with a smile. ‘And I was thinking that, even though she is still here—thank Salazar—I’m pleased that I’ve still been able to keep that promise.’
Rose smiled back, grateful that Scorpius’s parents seemed genuinely happy with her as his choice of a wife, then gave another laugh. ‘And here I thought you were just happy that the great houses of Weasley and Malfoy had finally been united in marriage.’
He gave an uncharacteristic snort at this and then shook his head. ‘You are far too much like your mother,’ he said and then tilted his head in thought. ‘And your father.’
Rose harrumphed a bit and squared her shoulders. ‘I’ll take that as a compliment.’
His face softened again. ‘You should.’
She smiled and they were both silent for a few moments before Draco cleared his throat. ‘I was actually looking for your uncle. Any ideas where he is?’
Rose shook her head. ‘You’ll have to be a bit more specific. Uncles are something that I seem to have an abundance of.’
He blew a breath out through his nose. ‘Touché. It’s the one that’s not a ginger that I was looking for.’
She smiled. ‘Ah, Uncle Harry,’ she said, then thought for a moment. ‘Last I saw, he was talking to James on the balcony heading out towards the gardens?’
He nodded quickly. ‘Thank you,’ he said and then gave her another half hug and headed away towards the balcony.
Right, now to find mum. Where could she be?
0000000000
Rose was stopped by a couple more people before she could make her way up the stairs to try to find her mum. She wanted to say goodbye as she and Scorpius were leaving first thing in the morning for their honeymoon. Scorpius was away saying goodbye to Albus, and Rose had already seen her dad, as he had headed to bed a bit earlier on. He had seemed a bit distracted, and she assumed that he was off to bed whatever witch he had set eyes on tonight.
Rose had found out in her mid-teens that her dad slept with other witches, and quite often. She had also found out—after getting quite angry at her mother one day and shouting out his indiscretions—that her mum didn’t care in the slightest. ‘He’s happier that way,’ was her only response.
She hadn’t understood at the time, but growing up and realising that her mother just didn’t enjoy sex, she knew that it was better for both of them. They were great together in every other way and Rose loved them both completely, but knowing what she knew about sex now—and especially how much she enjoyed it (she must have gotten that from her dad)—she could understand that what made them happy was just different in that aspect.
Thankfully, Rose didn’t have that problem. She loved Scorpius, and had since she was young, and the fact that he was incredible in bed was just the icing on the cake. Rose laughed to herself as she remembered that a couple of weeks ago, her mother had actually tried to give her sex advice for the honeymoon. Rose’s blunt response had been, ‘I’m sorry, mum, but—and I mean no offence—but I don’t think you’re the best person to give me sex advice.’
And she really didn’t need it. She and Scorpius had been sleeping together since the summer before sixth year, when they both finally realised that they weren’t actually cousins and could act on the feelings that they had had for each other for years. They had kept it from their parents that summer, and then when they went to school they were able to explore it a bit further. Both being prefects, they used that freedom to their advantage and found the time to meet up whenever they could.
After sixth year, they were confident enough to let their parents know about their relationship and even though they seemed quite surprised, they were happy and had encouraged the affection.
Rose mounted the top of the stairs, wondering briefly if their parents would be so understanding about—
‘Mum?!’
0000000000
Hermione bit her lip and looked back into Astoria’s eyes. She closed her eyes and then turned her head to look shyly at her daughter. She didn’t pull away from Astoria, and neither did Astoria pull away from her.
‘Rose,’ Hermione said softly.
‘Mum,’ Rose said. ‘What are—what are you doing?’
Hermione closed her eyes again and licked her lips, pulling away from Astoria, but keeping her hand tightly in her own. ‘Rose, can we talk about this?’
‘Fuck yes, we’re going to talk about this. Why the fuck are you making out with Scorpius’s mum?’
‘Rose, please,’ Hermione said. ‘I’ve tried to tell you.’
‘Obviously not very hard,’ Rose complained, then she looked at Astoria. ‘Does Scorpius know?’
Astoria shook her head. ‘No,’ she said softly.
Hermione squared her shoulders and then gave Astoria a kiss on the cheek. ‘Why don’t you head back in. I’ll speak to Rose.’ Astoria nodded and then squeezed her hand tightly and turned to head back into the bedroom.
Hermione looked up at her daughter. Rose was a full three inches taller than her normally, and even more so at the moment with her heels still on as Hermione was barefoot. ‘Can we please talk about this?’ Hermione said. ‘I—I swear I’ve been trying to tell you for years.’
Rose’s mouth opened in shock. ‘Years?’ she asked. ‘How—how long have you—?’
Hermione grabbed Rose’s hand and lead to her Scorpius’s room, where Rose was staying. She sat them down on a chaise lounge at the end of the bed. ‘Rose, darling. I—we meant to tell you a while ago. At first, I thought that you were too young to understand. I had decided while you were away for sixth year that I was going to tell you when you got back for the summer. But then—’
‘Then what?’ Rose asked bitterly. ‘Why didn’t you tell me?’
‘You—you told us that you were seeing Scorpius. And I—I didn’t want to jeopardise what you had with him by telling you that I was sleeping with his parents, you know?’
Rose sighed and nodded slightly, but then looked up in shock. ‘Parents?!’
Hermione’s nose crinkled. Fuck. She sighed, ‘Rose, I know that you seemed really surprised when I didn’t really give you a reaction about your father sleeping with other witches, but you don’t know the whole story. Very early on in our relationship, we found that we just don’t work together sexually. And it even caused us to break up for a bit.’
Rose’s mouth was still hanging open a bit. ‘You broke up with dad?’
Hermione shrugged slightly. ‘We didn’t think that we could work through it. And while we were broken up, I found what I did need in that respect, and so did he. And when we realised that we were still a great fit on every other level, but just not the sex, we agreed that we would get married and start a family together, but sleep with other people.’
‘But why haven’t you told anyone, mum? They all know that dad sleeps around and he just takes it on the chin. But you are sleeping with other people as well.’
Hermione shrugged again. ‘Because nobody would understand,’ she said. ‘Your father sleeps with mostly different witches. I have—partners. I am in love with them and have been for a very long time and—the world just isn’t ready for that.’
Rose held her hand. ‘Mum, I think they would. The world is different now, things like that are more common, more understandable. I think they would be okay knowing that you’re in a loving relationship with two other people.’
Hermione bit her lip again and winced slightly. ‘Four,’ she said.
Rose’s eyes widened again. ‘Sorry?’
‘Astoria and Draco,’ she said. ‘And Blaise and Pansy. We’ve all kind of been together for ages.’
Rose shook her head. ‘Sorry, you sleep with Blaise and Pansy as well?’
Hermione nodded. ‘And sometimes Charlie.’
Rose stood up. ‘Uncle Charlie?!’
Hermione nodded again shyly. ‘And I—I can’t tell everyone, Rose. I’m the Minister for Magic, and as your father says, I have a reputation to uphold. So, in the eyes of the public, I’d rather be nonsexual than a homewrecker or sexual deviant.’
Rose shook her head and looked down at her mum. ‘For fuck’s sake, mum.’
They were silent for a long time and then Rose sat back down on the chaise lounge and looked at Hermione. ‘I understand. Why you don’t want people to know. But the world is much more understanding now than it used to be, and I think they would understand if you did want to tell them.’ Hermione shook her head. ‘But I get why you’re afraid. I just—I wish I would’ve known. I—I’ve been bottling all these things up for years, not sure how to speak to anyone about it because I thought you wouldn’t understand and now I know that you would’ve…’
Hermione held her hand. ‘I’m so sorry. You can talk to me about anything.’
Rose nodded. ‘Oh, we are definitely going to circle back to that sex advice you offered me before,’ she said with a slight laugh and Hermione found herself chuckling lightly. ‘But first, I need to ask you a favour, as my mother and as the Minister for Magic, something that Scorpius has been asking me to talk to you about for ages, but I’ve never felt comfortable about until now.’
‘What is it?’ Hermione asked, curious.
‘Well, it’s probably going to take a lot of work and a bit of time, but we need to make some changes to the marriage laws.’
0000000000
‘Fuck, Draco!’ Harry moaned as he was slammed against a stone wall outside in the gardens behind the manor. There were large hedges around them and Draco had cast a disillusionment charm.
‘I told you I’d spend time with you today,’ Draco said, kissing him roughly.
‘It’s been too long,’ Harry whined. ‘I need you.’
Draco smiled and kissed him again, a bit gentler this time. ‘I know,’ he said as he pulled away from the kiss, but kept their bodies touching. ‘I want you hard and fast out here,’ he said. ‘And then I’m going to take you back to my room and we can spend the rest of the night taking it slower.’
Harry groaned out loud. ‘Yes, please,’ he said.
‘Where’s your wife?’ Draco asked.
Harry shrugged. ‘Said she was going home with someone. I didn’t ask who.’
Draco smirked and kissed Harry again. He quickly made work of Harry’s trousers and had pulled his cock free, stroking it strongly. Harry let out a hiss as Draco dropped to his knees, taking the head of his leaking cock into his mouth. Harry shoved his hand into those perfect locks and let his head fall back as Draco licked and sucked his shaft.
‘Don’t pout like that, Al, it doesn’t look nearly as handsome on your face as it does mine,’ a voice said from somewhere close by them.
‘I’m not pouting,’ a second voice pouted.
Draco looked up at Harry and released his cock, much to Harry’s displeasure. Just then, two young men came around the hedges and stood in the entrance of the little hedged alcove that Draco and Harry were disillusioned in.
‘Then why have you been so sour all night?’ Scorpius asked.
Albus looked at him seriously. ‘Because you’ll be away for three weeks.’
‘It’s our fucking honeymoon, Al,’ the blond wizard said in exasperation.
‘I know, I know,’ he said, still looking forlorn.
‘Rose has said that you could come with us.’
Albus scoffed. ‘Yeah, because that would go down well. Do you know what people would say if I went on your honeymoon with you?’
Scorpius shrugged. ‘That you can’t stand to be away from your roommates for so long?’
‘And could you imagine the look on my dad’s face?’ Albus asked.
Harry looked down at Draco, who was still on his knees, a knit in his brow.
Scorpius stepped closer to Albus and put a hand on his cheek. ‘Honestly, I’m surprised he doesn’t know about us yet.’
Albus made another scoffing sound. ‘Like the perfect saviour of the Wizarding World would even deign to think about the things that his son might get up to with his roommate.’
‘We have been living together for three years,’ Scorpius said with a shrug, leaning forward to place a kiss on Albus’s lips. ‘And spent many a night in the Slytherin dormitories together.’ He tipped his head to the side. ‘Though my parents haven’t figured it out either, but they’re so prude, it doesn’t surprise me.’
Harry and Draco both let out a chuckle at this, thankfully silenced by the charm.
Albus laughed, ‘I know, right? I don’t think any of our parents even share a room.’
‘At least it’s not as bad as Rose has it with her mum,’ Scorpius said. ‘I can’t even imagine Aunt Hermione having sex. I’m surprised Rose and Hugo weren’t immaculate conception.’
At this point, Harry and Draco couldn’t keep it together anymore. They were both laughing so hard that they nearly fell over. Draco quickly redid Harry’s trousers and then stood and slowly lifted the disillusionment spell.
The look of shock on the boy’s faces when they saw Draco and Harry slowly revealed to their view just made them laugh more. They were leaning against each other as the younger boys pulled away from each other like they had just been burnt. ‘Wha—’ Albus asked with a slack look on his face.
‘Dad?’ Scorpius asked. ‘What were you two—’
‘How much did you hear?’ Albus suddenly asked, his eyes wide in fear, looking back over to Scorpius.
Harry finally calmed himself and put a hand on Draco’s arm to calm him as well. ‘Everything,’ he said, then put on his best fatherly voice. ‘Albus, why didn’t you tell me about this?’ He gestured to the two of them.
Albus, still shocked, cried out, ‘Because you’re—you’re fucking Harry Potter!’
‘No, I’m fucking Harry Potter,’ Draco said with a smirk, leaning casually against the stone wall. ‘At least, I was about to before you two interrupted us.’
Harry slapped Draco on the shoulder. ‘Don’t be so crude.’ But Draco just shrugged.
‘But—’ Scorpius started. ‘How—how long? What about mum?’
Draco chuckled. ‘Since before you were born,’ he said. ‘And I wouldn’t worry about your mother. Aunt Hermione always makes sure she’s sufficiently pleasured.’
Their faces showed shock and horror and Draco pushed himself from the wall and grabbed Harry’s hand. ‘Come on,’ he said. ‘Let’s go to my room.’
Harry gave the boys an apologetic shrug and then followed the blonde.
‘What do they say, Harry? Like father, like son?’ Draco asked as he pinched Harry’s bum.
Harry smiled and kissed the blonde. ‘The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree?’ he suggested.
‘That’s a good one,’ Draco agreed. ‘Does this mean that we no longer have to hide the extent of our depravity from them?’
Harry turned towards the boys again. ‘I really don’t think we should mention everything else,’ he said with a dark smile. ‘I think they’d die of shock if they found out about Blaise and Pansy.’
‘And Charlie?’ Draco asked.
‘And Ron, Daphne and Theo,’ Harry added.
Scorpius and Albus looked at each other.
Scorpius had conflicting sides warring in his brain over the new information, but ultimately and cleverly decided to keep his mouth shut for now, but bring it up later at a time more convenient to him.
But Albus, with a lethal mixture of emotional Weasley blood and reckless Potter blood running through his veins, shook his head, looked at his boyfriend and then back at the two wizards walking away happily and shouted:
‘Are you fucking kidding me?’
000000000
It took nearly two years of hard work, drafting and redrafting, submitting, debating, reasoning, and then waiting.
A lot of bureaucratical waiting.
But finally, with the support of some of the richest and most influential families in the wizarding world—namely the Malfoys, Potters, Weasleys, Zabinis and Greengrasses (and of course the Minister for Magic, Hermione Granger, herself)—it was eventually passed, and Scorpius Malfoy was able to stand in front of all of his friends and family once again, this time to take a husband.
Albus Potter stood to one side with his brother James to witness, and Scorpius had Rose beside him to do the same.
When the ceremony came to a close, and Albus practically jumped forward to kiss his new husband, there was an uproar of cheers from the crowd. When Scorpius finally pulled away, his cheeks were pinked from Albus’s enthusiasm. He then grabbed both Albus and Rose’s hands and hugged them both close into him with a big smile.
In the crowd, the parents all cheered, then looked at each other with knowing smiles.
What their children didn’t know was that when they left on their honeymoon tomorrow, their parents would attend an interview with the Daily Prophet. Because the bravery of their children, the work that it had taken to bring this wedding about, and the overwhelming public support for the new laws had made them realise that it was time to share their story.
The world was ready and they were ready.
To shout it from the rooftops.
