Chapter 16
--
“Mmm, God Co…” Raithos moaned as Draco trailed kisses down
his neck. “Want you…”
“You have me.” Draco
made his way down Raithos’ upper body, nipping here and sucking there. He paused for a moment to slide Raithos’ boxers
down his body, then climbed back up and settled his hips against his
lovers. “Do it, Raith, please,” he
whispered, grinding against him.
::I love you Co.
God, so hot…so good:: Rait
his
hissed.
“Oh God, that is so fucking sexy…” Draco moaned, crushing
his lips down to l ont onto the other teen.
“Do it again…” he whispered into Raithos’ mouth.
::Oooh, I love it when you beg::
“Yessss…”
“Harder Co, please…”
“God…Raith…”
--
Pansy, Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle were sitting in the Common
Room talking quietly when the moans started.
They couldn’t help but listen, occasionally blushing and laughing
quietly. Their leaders had quite the
healthy sex life, that was certain.
--
“Neville, it has to be you.
You’re the only pureblood not in Slytherin other than us Weasley’s. And there is no way in Hell they will ever
trust one of us.”
“NO! I can’t, I’m
sorry, I can’t do it,” Neville whimpered.
“I’m not smart enough for this…he’ll know. The Son always knows, I won’t be able to do it. He’ll kill me!”
Ginny stated firmly. “You
can do this. You were made
to do this. Listen. You Know Who is pure evil. He has to be stopped. He’s killed so many, he tried to kill
me. We have to help Dumbledore! Dumbledore needs us! The Son betrayed him,
left him, and now he needs our help to stop this evilness. He’s counting on us, Neville, and we cannot
let him down!”
“Ron, please, I can’t…”
“Gin’s right Neville, it has to be you.yes"> He wishes to ha woa word with you.”
“What?” Draco said, looking up quickly.
Raithos sat up, staring at Blaise.yes"> The things he deserves because of his blood. I don’t believe him though,” Blaise said
quietly.
Draco and Raithos stared at each other for long moments,
almost as if they were communicating telepathically. Raithos finally looked back at Blaise and nodded. “Give us five minutes and then bring him in. Take his wand first.”
“Yes, My Lord.”
Draco stood and went to grab his robe. He put it on over his pajama bottoms, tying
it at his waist, and handed the second robe to Raithos. Raithos let his trail open, revealing a pale
stretch of skin. He pulled his hair
back at the of of his neck, securing it with a silver clasp from the bedside
table. Raithos sat down on the couch,
leaning against the armrest, one leg raised on the seat next to him. Draco sat himself at Raithos’ feet. He would play the submissive for this,
because it would scare Longbottom even more than direct intimidation. Neville alw always feared Draco, so to see
him utterly under the control of Raitho’s would terrify him.
“Thank you, love,” Raithos whispered, running a hand through
Draco’s hair.
“Yeah, well, you’ll just owe me later.”
--
“Come on.”
Neville stood up and smoothed his robes nervously. This was it. If he couldn’t convince the Son that he really wanted to join
him, all hope for the Gryffindors would be lost. This was his chance to be brave.
--
Raithos knew as soon as Neville walked in the door that
Blaise had been right. Neville was
lying. He could read it in his eyes.
‘So they’ve sent a spy.
How stupid can these Gryffindors possibly be?< sty style="mso-spacerun:
yes"> I thought that was strictly relegated to Hufflepuffs.’
“Longbottom. Sit.”
Neville sat. He glanced
fearfully at Draco, gulping loudspanspan style="mso-spaceruns"> s"> He
turned his attention to Raithos.
“Why are you here, Longbottom?” Raithos asked smoothly.
“T-to serve you…M-my Lord,” he stammered. The Son was a truly intimidating creature.
“Why should I take you into my fold?”
“I can spy for you.
On the Gryffindors.”
“Perhaps,” Raithos said thoughtfully. He rubbed his chin slightly with his
fingers, before returning his hand to pet Draco’s hair. “Very well, we shall se what you can do. Go back to your room for now. I’ll call for you later this week.”
“Thank you,” Neville said, tension draining from his
body. It had worked.
--
“I’m in,” Neville said wearily upon his return to the
Gryffindor common room.
Ron just shook his head dumbly. He couldn’t believe it had worked. Maybe Raithos wasn’t so tough after all.
--
Remus was sitting in his rooms, staring at the wall. He’d been there ever since he’d spoken to
Raithos and Draco. He was still trying
to process all he’d heard.
‘It all makes sense though…everything he said…could it be
true?’
He didn’t want to believe that Albus Dumbledore, the Leader
of the Light, defeater of Grindewald, was the one responsible for the death of
his friends. Of Lily, and James, and
Sirius. He didn’t want to believe that
Albus Dumbledore was capable of kidnapping and killing a pregnant woman, no
matter whose wife she was, and stealing her child.
But he was starting to.
He looked up sharply as a knock sounded at his door.
“Come in,” he said hoarsely.
Severus Snape stepped into his room, carrying a bottle of
firewhiskey.
“I thought you could use a little drink after the things you
heard today.”
--
“What are you planning on doing with Longbottom?” Draco
asked softly.
“You’ll see tomorrow at breakfast. I believe the school needs to be taught a lesson.”
--
Neville was late to breakfast the next morning. He was feeling even more confident after a
good nights sleep. Especially since
Ginny seemed to be paying even more attention to him now. She was so impressed with his courage, and
his willingness to spy, she’d said. He
was jarred out of his thoughts as someone called his name. He looked up to see the Son standing in the
middle of the Hall, waiting for him.
“Yes?” he said.
“Neville, Neville…did you honestly think your pathetic
little act last night fooled anyone?
Even Blaise knew you were lying.
You’re so very bad at it, you know.
What were you thinking, believing you could spy on me? On me! The son of the Dark Lord!
Raithos Marvolo Voldemort!
I cannot be tricked by pathetic cowards such as yourself,” Raithos said
as he stalked closer to the frightened Gryffindor.
Neville was frozen where he stood. How had he known? He had
played his part perfectly. He knew he
hadn’t made a mistake…had he?
“I…I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he stammered
desperately.
“Yes.yes"> The boy slumped over, dead.
Screams echoed throughout the hall as chaos reigned. Students from Slytherin stood and cheered,
the older ones bowing and clapping.
Students from the other three houses ran for their common rooms, afraid
they would be next. The teachers just
looked on in horror, Dumbledore rooted to his seat in fear. Severus came up behind him to put a hand on
his shoulder, attempting to comfort the old man. Professor Lupin was conspicuously absent.

Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge received an owl at
exactly nine forty two a.m.
Minister,
At precisely nine thirty nine am, this day, November
fourth, one Raithos Marvolo Voldemort (aka Harry Potter) performed an
Unforgivable Curse in the Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and
Wizardry.
He used the killing curse on one Neville Longbottom in
front of numerous witnesses. As such,
he should be arrested and sentenced to life in Azkaban.
Sincerely,
Department of underage wizardry
“Get me Delores Umbridge.”
--
A/N: Whew! Busy chapter there. Using Umbridge was suggested by Sylvanus
Snape, and it was just too good to pass up.
So props to Syl! So, what did
you all think? Did you like the
spy? Of course Raith is too smart to
fall for something like that. And we
had hints of R/S at the end there too.
So all ya’ll should be happy now.
Next Chappie: The
ministry! A meeting of the
Shadows. Fun stuff there.
