“Oh, Susan, you’re going to take his breath away.” Hannah Abbot giggled as she reached up as she lifted her veil up, sliding the clip into place. Susan helped Hannah with the veil, surrounding her shoulders as she turned to look at her friend.
“You really think so, Hannah?” Susan turned to look back in the mirror as she bit her bottom lip. “I just want to see him smile, you know like he used to.” Susan knew that deep down, something was bothering Ron and that he didn’t want to talk about it with her. It hurt, but she’d never admit it because she loved him and she wanted to wait until Ron was ready to talk to her.

Hermione sighed as she glanced around outside as she stepped out of the car, Draco stood right behind her, his hand pressing against the small of her back. Biting her lip she looked behind her, pushing her hair away from her face, “Do we have to go in there?” she murmured.
Draco slowly smiled and shrugged a moment.
“We don’t have to but you did promise Harry that you’d come,” he replied, reaching up as he rubbed her shoulders gently. “Besides, it’ll be nice to finally make sure that the Weasel is off the market and no where near you.”
Hermione giggled a bit, shaking her head as she reached up and took Draco’s hand, pulling him towards the church in front of them. Draco watched her as they walked up and she said hello to her fellow Gryffindors. He noticed the looks she was getting as he walked next to her, and it made his stomach churn.
How dare they give her a dirty look when all she did was show up to a wedding with someone she cared about. Why weren’t they smiling? What the hell was wrong with these people? Draco sneered as one of the Twins sent a glare his way, it was then that he remembered what was wrong with them.
They were Gryffindors.
Shaking his head he let Hermione lead the way into the church and he looked around to see a mixture of people from Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. At least the Hufflepuff’s seemed happy to see him.
“Draco?” Someone said from behind him, turning Draco slowly smiled as he saw Ernie Macmillan walk up towards him, “What are you doing here?” Ernie laughed.
“I came with Hermione,” Draco replied, looking over towards her. Turning back to Ernie he smiled and tilted his head as he glanced around, “I’m guessing you’re not too happy about this little arrangement that we’re here to celebrate.” Ernie smirked a bit as he looked down.
“Not really, mate,” he replied, “But I’m going to deal. She chose the man that she cares about and all I can do is stand by that.” Ernie looked around, “I’ll tell you one thing though, Ronald Weasley isn’t the most loyal of all Gryffindors.” Draco nodded slowly as he looked towards the back room in the church and saw the familiar red head that he’d come to hate during his time at Hogwarts.
“I know exactly what you mean.” Draco replied as his gaze met Ron’s.

“It’s interesting,” Hermione turned towards the voice that came from her side, her eyes widening just a bit as she saw Pansy Parkinson.
“What’s interesting?” she replied. Pansy smiled slowly as she crossed her arms and walked up towards Hermione, glancing back towards the area where she had caught Hermione staring towards. She had been staring at Draco, and Pansy had noticed because she was doing the same thing.
“It’s interesting that you actually think that you belong on the arm of Draco Malfoy.” Pansy sneered, “Don’t you think for a second that he even finds you worthy enough to even exist to the purebloods.” Hermione raised a brow and slowly smiled as she shook her head.
“You have no idea, do you?” she asked softly. Pansy took a step back as she watched Hermione.
“No idea about what?”
“That Draco has been in my bed for the past few months, not yours.” Hermione said, crossing her arms as she smiled. Pansy’s eyes narrowed.
“You lying filthy whore,” she growled as she went to raise her hand. Before she could swing it in Hermione’s direction, Draco caught her arm.
“Now, now Pansy, that’s not the type of language fit for a church,” he sneered, “And I will warn you now, you ever lay a hand on Hermione and I will not hesitate to make you join your parents in their graves.” Pansy glared towards him, pulling her arm away from his grasp.
“Oh? And what of yours, Draco? Want me to tell them hi and what you’ve been up to? Fucking a mudblood,” she hissed. Hermione winced as she heard the smack of Draco’s hand against Pansy’s face. Pansy covered her cheek, staring at Draco in disbelief, “You hit me.”
“I did. And I won’t hesitate to do more,” he retorted, grabbing Pansy’s arm he started dragging her towards the door, “Hermione, save me a seat, luv.” He finished as he pulled Pansy towards the door as she tried clawing at him.
Hermione smiled a bit as she shook her head and started making her way towards a seat where Draco could easily find her after taking out the trash. Draco’s jaw locked as Pansy’s hand connected with it.
“That’s what you get you son of a bitch, you don’t hit Pansy Parkinson and get away with it,” she growled. Draco looked towards her as he raised a brow.
“I’m sorry Pansy, I thought you were supposed to hit a bitch when she was behaving badly and not listening to you,” he grabbed her shoulders as the exited the church, “Now you’ll do like any good dog would and stay outside when it’s told.” Draco pushed her away from him as he turned to walk back inside.
“She’ll betray you, mudbloods are nothing but betrayers and you should know it.” Pansy cut in, making Draco pause before he walked back inside.
“You think that, but you don’t even know what to think anymore Pansy. You spent your whole damn life following me. You’re a follower,” he retorted.
“Oh? And you know what to think? What makes you so smart, you’re fucking a mudblood. You’re a disgrace.” Pansy shot back. Draco smiled a bit as he adjusted the collar of his shirt and stared towards her.
“Wrong. You’re the disgrace Pansy. You spread your legs for a man that looked like a snake, a man who had nothing working for him and yet you enjoyed having his dick inside of you – you wanted to provide him an heir,” Draco grinned at the horror in Pansy’s eyes, she hadn’t told him that but he’d been at Voldemort’s right hand. “That’s right. And you want to know something funny? Voldemort saw you as nothing more than a horse that he could ride and put away wet.”
At Pansy’s horrified scream, Draco laughed a bit as he walked back into the church, shutting the door behind him.

The ceremony was beautiful.
At least it was to everyone else in the room that seemed to be happy for the couple in front of them. Draco raised a brow as he saw Ron’s eyes move towards the left, staring at Hermione as he stood there, pretending to look towards Susan. His hands clenched every time he caught the weasel turning his gaze.
The Weasel should’ve been looking at his intended.
The woman that he chose as his bride, but what made Draco lock his jaw was that Hermione seem oblivious to the fact that the Weasel’s greedy eyes were moving all over her body. He knew that at the reception, he’d have a few choice words for Ron Weasley.
He’d strangle him till his greedy eyes popped out of his stupid red head.

Hermione smiled as Draco’s hand pressed against her back, pushing her against him as they danced with one another. Had she known that Draco would be willing to go the reception, where dancing was almost required, she would’ve worn more comfortable shoes. She gigged as he ran his lips along her neck for a brief moment, making her body shudder with anticipation.
“I didn’t know that you could dance,” she murmured.
“Mum taught me, she insisted that it would be required of the Malfoy Heir because I would have to attend state dinners and everything that required my family to show off our money,” he replied as he ran his fingers up and down her back, massaging.
“Mmm, well she taught you well, there are no complaints on my side.” She smiled and leaned up, kissing his cheek softly. “I’m going to see how Ginny is feeling; I’ll be back in a bit, alright?” Draco nodded as he reluctantly let her go as the song came to an end. He watched her walk from the room towards the doors. Glancing around he sighed a moment before he noticed Harry waving him over.
Reluctantly, he walked over towards his nemesis from the Quidditch field.
“Potter.”
“Malfoy.”
The two shared a brief moment of small glares before smiling and shaking hands. Harry glanced around as he pulled at the collar of his suit.
“Tell me again why they make us wear these hideous things,” he mumbled, “You look like you could use a drink.” Draco laughed a bit as he shook his head.
“No. I’m actually enjoying myself, it’s amusing to see everyone around here acting like they did at the Yule Ball, and you look just as uncomfortable as you did then.” Draco teased as he glanced around, noticing that Ron was also gone and Susan was sharing a dance with her father.
“Ha, very funny mate. If I recall you didn’t really have that hot of a date to that dance either,” Harry retorted as he took a long sip from the drink in his hand, “I saw Hermione earlier, I suppose she went to check on Ginny, huh?” Draco nodded.
“Matter of fact, I’m going to go look for her.” He said softly as he looked around, Harry nodded.
“I’m going to get another one of these, because I doubt that Ginny wants to see me right now.” Harry laughed a bit, “Don’t ever get Hermione pregnant, you’ll regret it.” Draco and Harry smiled as they gave one another a brief hug as they separated ways.

Hermione glanced around, frowning as she looked for Ginny. She couldn’t find her and it was getting annoying trying to look for her. As she turned to walk back inside from the harsh wind that she found outside, but she ran into someone instead. Glancing up, Hermione frowned.
“What do you want?” she asked.
“That’s not nice,” Ron said softly, “You did just attend my wedding after all.” Hermione’s brow raised as she looked up at him.
“Exactly, meaning you just got married,” she replied, “So why don’t you spend some time with your wife instead of standing out here in the cold with me.” Ron reached up and cupped her face with his hands.
“I will, but first there’s something’s that I need to fix with you.”
She tried to move his hands away from her face but the look in his eyes made her stop, he looked hurt as if he’d seen his best friend die.
“What are you talking about, Ron?” she murmured.
“I just have to make sure, that you always know,” He leaned in towards her, “That you’re mine.” His lips crushed against hers, catching her completely off guard as his tongue slid into her mouth and his hands made it impossible for her arms to move.
As Ron pulled away and looked up, he smirked slowly as he saw the blonde head he’d come to hate staring at them through the windows at Hermione’s back. He held her a moment longer to see Draco slam his fist against the window, shattering it as he left.
