Staring up at the blaze that was quickly swallowing up the dilapidated remains of Potter Cottage in Godric's Hollow, Harry leaned into his lover's side, sighing as the blond wrapped an arm around his shoulder.
“You sure you want to stay and watch this?” Pyro asked, glancing over at Harry.
“Yeah. This place should have been destroyed years ago after my parents were killed in it, yet they kept it up as a 'memorial' and a 'symbol of Voldemort's first defeat'. But to me it's nothing but a disgusting reminder of everything I lost and suffered since that Halloween night. I want nothing more than to see it gone.”
Pressing a kiss to the side of Harry's head, Pyro focused on the flames, causing them to double in size and power as the heat from the blaze reached them where they were standing.
Before long the last bit of wood crumbled into ash and the only thing left standing was the stone fireplace and foundation which Harry reduced to rubble with a flick of his wand.
Taking a few seconds to look at the lot covered in ash and stone rubble, Harry then turned to Pyro and said, “Ready to get out of here?”
“Yeah lets get out of this place.”
Wrapping his own arm around Pyro's waist, Harry focused on their home and apparated away from the remains of his old home for the final time.
