Chapter 17

It took Arthur nearly an hour to calm Molly down so that she would be
able to apperate into Hogsmeade. Once she realized that people would be
sent to rescue Harry as soon as they had located him, she jumped up and
stalked out the back door, heading for the end of the anti-apparition
wards. Arthur followed quickly behind.
They both appeared in Hogsmeade and
walked swiftly to the castle. They quickly made their way to the
headmaster's office, the gargoyle guarding the door jumped out of
Molly's way as she charged toward it. "Molly dear," Arthur said as they
walked up the spiral stairs that led to Dumbledore's office. "I'm sure
that they are doing everything that they can to find him."
"Arthur, one of my children has been
taken by Death Eaters, he and Charlie are getting married in June and
their child will be born in September or October. I will move heaven
and earth to make sure that he comes back to us, safe and unharmed,"
she told him as she pushed open the door to the Headmaster's office.
Five pairs of eyes watched as the
door flew open and the Matriarch of the Weasley family came into the
room. All five noticed the tear stains on her cheeks and the determined
look on her face. "Albus, do you know where he has been taken?" she
asked. Without pausing she continued, "How were the Death Eaters able
to take him with the dragon protecting him?"
Ron slapped himself in the forehead,
"Harry has Nannette with him, I'm sure that he'll be able to enlarge
her, even if they take his wand."
Ginny smiled at Charlie, "All he has
to do is say the incantation, he doesn't need his wand to enlarge her.
She will not let anything happen to him," she said. "As long as they
are able to get out of what ever building that they are in."
Charlie reached over and hugged
Ginny, "Nannette would charge through a wall if she needed to. She is a
very protective dragon, she'll get him out."

Harry felt the tug of the portkey and
he gripped his wand tighter, he knew that all he had to do was to speak
the incantation that would enlarge Nannette. As he felt himself hit the
ground he quickly whispered, "Engorgio!" and watched as the dragon
returned to her normal size.
Wormtail jumped back from Harry and
the large dragon that was baring her teeth at him. He raised his wand
and began shouting spells at her, and dodging them as they bounced off
of her scales. Nannette shot a stream of flames toward the balding
Death Eater, catching his robes on fire. She turned toward Harry and
nudged him behind her. "Stay behind me, my dark haired son. I will keep
them from you."
Harry turned to watch behind the
large creature, to be sure that none of Voldemort's minions could sneak
up on them. He looked around at the room that they had landed in, there
were suits of armor each holding a deadly log sag saber out in front of
them, but he didn't see a door. "Nannette, we have to find a way to get
out of here," he shouted.
She sent another jet of flames
toward Wormtail, causing him to back into a suit of armor impaling
himself on one of the sabers. "There are windows near the ceiling, we
will just fly out them," she stated.
Harry walked over to where Wormtail
was hanging from the armor's weapon. "We have to take his body back
with us," he told her. "My godfather spent the last years of his life
in prison for something that this piece of shit did. He died protecting
me, and it's the least I can do to clear his name."
"You are a very noble young man, I
will carry him back to the school in my mouth," she answered. "We must
hurry," she said. "They will be trying to think of a way to rescue you,
we must get back before they leave the castle. The Dark Lord will waste
no time in attacking the school now that you are escaping."

Severus Snape watched as Voldemort
stalked into the room where they were waiting. He was wondering why
they had been called tonight, as far as he knew there were no students
harmed during the attack on Hogsmeade. Voldemort stepped up onto the
raised dais and sat down in the raised throne sitting in the center.
"My loyal Death Eaters, right now, Wormtail is bringing us Harry
Potter!" he shouted. Severus shuddered, how Wormtail could have caught
the boy. He was always surrounded by his friends, and according to
Dumbledore, he was dating Charlie Weasley. How could they have allowed
the boy to be captured?
"Very soon, I will have the-boy-who-lived, and I will destroy him," he shouted.

With a large crash, the windows near
the ceiling exploded. Severus looked up and saw a large dragon swooping
down toward them. Voldemort looked up and saw the body of Wormtail
hanging from the dragon's mouth. "How did that infernal dragon get in
here?" he shouted.
Death Eaters were running in all
directions, trying to get away from the large creature that began
shooting flames at the moving targets.
Harry leaned forward, "Nannette, you
have to be careful, Professor Snape is down there, and he is the only
way we have to get information about what Voldemort is planning."
"I can smell him, my dark haired son," she said. "He is the one that is not moving, he is just watching us."

Voldemort watched as Severus Snape
stood in the middle of the room and watched the dragon swoop down and
attack the Death Eaters that were running for cover and shooting spells
at the attacking dragon. He raised his wand and shouted "Crucio!"
The spell hit the potions master and he fell to the floor, writhing in pain.

Voldemort walked over to were Severus
was lying on the ground. "Why are you not trying to bring that animal
to the ground?" he asked. He watched as Severus convulsed on the
ground, "Or are you the one that has been leaking information to
Dumbledore?" He raised his wand and broke the curse. "Are you Severus?
Are you the spy?"

Sorry about the long wait for this chapter, but I was ill and unable to
sit at the computer and write. Hopefully I will be able to finish this
story in the next few weeks.
