Riley was in their common room waiting for Hermione. They decided to go as the Phantom and Christine from their favorite opera "The Phantom of the Opera," Riley was dressed up as the Phantom of course with the black suit and cape along with the mask that covered half of her face. Also to complete the costume she had a rose she would give to Hermione just as the Phantom did when he would be pleased with Christine. For some odd reason she was nervous and she didn't know why. She over heard the girls talking one night while she was doing her homework and they told Hermione to finally open up to her in bed but Hermione was still unsure so Riley just smiled and went back to her homework. Tonight she was just gonna go with the flow and what ever happens happens.

She heard a door close and she turned around and caught her breath, Hermione came down the stairs in a simple strapless white dress and her hair was in golden brown ringlets and she have very light make up on. Riley was speechless she never seen anyone look more beautiful. Hermione smiled and walked up to her girlfriend, "Hey," she said softly. Riley cleared her throat, "You look amazingly beautiful," she said giving Hermione the rose then kissing her softly. Hermione smiled, "You look amazingly handsome," she said smiling. Riley offered her arm and Hermione gladly took it and they both walked out of the common room to meet the others.

Harry and Susan were already waiting for them and they were dressed as Prince Charming and Cinderella. Riley tried so hard not to laugh at the look on Harry's face, "It's her favorite fairy tale," he grumbled. Riley just shook her and and patted Harry on the back. They saw Ron and Luna come around the corner and this time Riley laughed. They were dressed up as Aladdin and Jasmine, and the look on Ron's face wasn't a happy one, "Least you all are wearing shirts," he said and Riley wiped a tear from her eyes from laughing so hard. Draco and Emma met up with them and they were more serious, "Are you two a Muggle couple?" Riley asked they since they both looked like secret agents dressed up and suits and sunglasses. "We're part of the FBI" Draco said matter of fact and Riley just nodded.

They were all waiting for Neville and Ginny. Just as Hermione was about to ask Riley let out another laugh because coming around the corner was Neville and Ginny. Neville was covered in tattoos and was wearing a tank top and baggy jeans and sneakers and had piercings in his ears and nose and eyebrows. Ginny was wearing clothing that looked two times to small for her and her hair was dyed like a golden brown just like Hermione's. They came up to the group and Riley couldn't help herself, "Don't tell me you two are Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra," she said trying to control her laugh. "It was her idea," Neville said with an embrassing sigh.

Riley just shook her head and the group started to head towards the great hall and once the doors were opened they were in awe. The colors of orange and black were decorated with streamers and pumpkins and candles were all around and the platform where the teachers normally sat was set up for the stage. Riley's band was dressed up as zombies and they saw her and waved. She waved back and gave Hermione another small kiss and went up to the stage to help set up.

Once everyone was in the Great Hall and the band was set up they started to do a sound check. They decided to do some slow songs first then go into some dancing songs then end with a slow song. The last song they decided to do was gonna be for Hermione and Riley was gonna invite Hermione on stage and sing it to her.

"Happy Halloween Hogwarts let's party!" Riley said and the crowd cheered and they band started up.

Jessie and Pansy were in the hideout with Sean and James their plan to get Riley onto their side wasn't going as well as they hoped.

"You were supposed to put the potion in her drink!" Sean nearly yelled.

"I'm sorry she wasn't there when I was supposed to do it!" Jessie yelled back.

"HEY!" James yelled, 'We've been arguing since they got here we need to find a new way to get Riley here," James told them calmly.

"Now look, Riley has no idea about her power and if she teams up with Harry then their power will be far beyond any one we know. After all he did kill my father," James said looking out of the window.

"I can ask a few of my class mates in Slytherin to see if they can help," Pansy spoke up.

"That could help go ahead and write your letters, and we shall see who will be on our side," Sean said.

The four continued to do come up with a plan for Riley they were gonna bring her to their side even if it meant dragging her by her feet. This also meant if they had to put Hermione in that spot just to have Riley on their side. The world would be where it supposed to be magical people on top and Muggles on the lowest of the low. Within the next few months there will be battles and there will be blood but little do they know just how much power Riley does have and it could destroy them.

Everyone was loving the songs and dancing and just having a good time. There were times where Hermione was dancing with Harry or dancing with her friends and Riley couldn't help but smile. "Okay everyone this is our last song of the night. So Hermione could you come up here for this one?" she asked and Hermione looked shocked and blushed. She walked up to the stage and she helped her up Kelsey got two stools and gave Riley her acoustic guitar. At this point Riley was only wearing her white button down shirt and pants and shoes and her sleeves were rolled up.

Riley started to play her guitar and started to sing

Every one was dancing slowly to the song and this is one of Riley's favorites and she never had anyone to give this song too until now.

She looked at Hermione who was smiling and wiping away tears at the same time. Riley guessed that no one ever sang to her like this before. She hoped to sing to her every day for the rest of her life.

Not only did this song remind Riley of Hermione every time she would play it or sing it but it also let her know that so far Hermione has stuck by her side after all the stuff they have been through. She knew that no matter no that she's in love with this beautiful girl and she couldn't believe she was hers and she never thought that she would feel like this again.

"Well, I'm not sure what this is gonna be,

Riley finished and Hermione got up and kissed her softly. Riley stood up and put the guitar on the stool and wrapped her arms around her, "Come some where with me," she whispered and Hermione nodded. They both left the stage and they went to their spot on the lake, "I owe you a dance," Riley said and held Hermione in her arms and they started to slow dance. Riley started humming a tune again and Hermione realized it was the same tune as the song that she was singing to her. "I love you," Riley whispered.

Hermione smiled at looked into those blue eyes, "I love you," she whispered back. "I have something for you," Riley said. She pulled out a bracelet from her pocket "I know it's cliche but I saw it and I thought of you," she said. It was just a simple band that had a few charms on it, "The charms will let you know when I'm close to you and when I'm in trouble," she told her. "They will send you a tingling to your wrist when I'm close and they will become warm when I'm in danger and you will always know where to find me even when you can't," she told her and put the bracelet on her wrist.

Hermione couldn't stop smiling Riley was so good to her and she never thought she could feel this way about any girl but for some reason this girl let her open up her heart and she let her in. "It's beautiful," she said and kissed Riley softly.

Riley smiled and held her close but she couldn't help but feel as if something bad was going to happen again she just didn't know when it was and she hoped it wouldn't happen.

"We have a plan and New Years Eve Hogwarts won't be the same," Sean said with a smirk as he looked at the three people smirking back at him.
