I am simply borrowing them for this story although there will be a few, OC’S that are my property and creation. I make no profit off of any portion being borrowed or created. In response to how do you know when I update, honestly there is no way I try my best to update once a week or so when that is not the case I only go about two weeks in between. Although I must say a lot of the times I get caught up reading everyone else’s wonderful stories I will try to keep it updated often.

Chapter Seventeen

“Relatives are Irrelevant”

Leaving the Lawyers office I noticed that it was dark out and a full moon hung over the village. I began to feel a bit nostalgic and that made me wish and wonder about Remus if he was alright? If he knew what had happened, then again it seemed everyone had an opinion at that time and I was guilty no matter what so maybe he too had abandoned me to the hell I lived. Either way I found myself missing him dearly and wanting nothing more then to call out to him and have him listen and know just the right thing to say and do.

“The one your heart calls for would hear you if you willed it on the wind. I find you again hiding behind spells and charms grandson.”

“You! What do you want? I thought you said everything you had to say at the bank, I mean isn’t it obvious that I have no intention of going with you so why are you still here?”

“You are of Elemental blood, what’s more you are my great grandson. It has been many years since I have come into contact with family. I had originally thought that I no longer had anyone left. Finding you has been a true joy and a miracle to me and our people would welcome you.”

“Your people do not know me as you don’t, how do you know that I didn’t committee the crime they imprisoned me for, how do you know I didn’t betray my best friends and the wizarding world?”

“You are of my blood as well as Elemental and those that we take into our heart are placed in the safest place in the known universe. There is nothing we would not do, give or suffer to keep those we care for safe and content. That is how I know, just as I know that you suffer greatly and now as I have observed you today with those other wizards I began to understand and know that remaining here in the place , with those that betrayed you will only destroy the pure being that you are. I have seen the real you that you hide and I refuse to lose you to their greed and manipulations.”

“Lovely speech, but if you haven’t noticed I am of age, in this place once I hit sixteen I was considered an adult even if I was in prison. What I chose to do or stay is of no one’s concern but my own. I already have my plans in motion, besides look around you, pick up a paper and look up the boy who lived I’m sure anyone around here will be happy to tell you my whole life story. I’m not leaving, not till I am done with everything I planned.”

“These plans will lead to nothing but heartache.”

“Something I am very intimate with, I do not fear pain and I haven’t for a long time, now if you will excuse me I have to get back to the castle.”

“Very well, good night grandson, I believe we will meet again.”

“Whatever.”

Leaving my grandfather behind I made my way to Hogwarts and went through one of the secret passages as to avoid running into anyone. For now I just wanted to be able to get to my room and find a way to retrieve my medical file from the snaky gits grease stained fingers. There was no way I was going to leave that file in Snape’s hands. When the news broke that I was going to be taking several of Hogwarts staff to court I didn’t want anything that could be used against me coming to light in a negative aspect. Of course having Snape label me a whore was enough.

Making it through the halls I stopped and just listened, everyone thought that when the students were gone and no class was in session that it was all silence, but no one honestly understood that in fact Hogwarts herself had a unique voice and song and it was only when there were no kid’s running back and forth that you could truly hear it. Listening for a minute I took the gift of peace that the school offered and made my way to my rooms. Unfortunately the song ended on a harsh note as I found Ronald Weasly, his sister Ginny and of course Hermione Granger waiting at my door step or portrait frame. Either way I was no longer pleased.

“ Harry mate! We came down looking to invite you to come and stay at the burrow for the holiday, there so many things we can get into, I have dearly missed my quid ditch partner. I even continued my subscription to Cannons and qudditch monthly, there is so much to be done I can finally teach you to play chess and..”

“Don’t you think that your going to overwhelm Harry with all your plans Ron, besides I am sure Harry will want to talk about the improvements I have made to the DA and discuss what books and texts he should have in preparation to returning to school to complete his education.”

“Yeah besides who’s to say that he Harry wants to spend time with either of you bombarding him, what if all he really wants is to enjoy mum’s cooking and relax with me.”

“What oh, please Gin after so many years inactivity Harry needs to get back in fighting form. Tell them mate “

“First off I thought I told all three of you to leave me alone, secondly I do not want to do anything with either of you except maybe hex you all into oblivion!”

“Now mate that is no way to talk to us especially the ladies.”

“Oh please just shut your gob! Now for the last time leave me the hell alone! Do not approach me or my door, do not wait to ambush me as I go back and forth, do not attempt to talk to, owl or even pay me any attention and finally do not call me mate. Friend family nothing! As far as I am concerned I would have been better off having a blast ended newt as my family! Now get the hell away from my door!”

Okay honestly falling asleep here I think I should end there, till next time.
