And to your questions I can only say oops! lol I had all teacher planned out along with heads of house and then forgot to mention them all DOH! I have fixed that in this chapter lol I will be going into greater detail about how all the moved student are doing :)

Chapter 16 – The first move

The next morning Harry was woken up to kisses from his mate. Once Severus sensed that he was awake the gentle kiss turned fiery with need, tongues twisting and dancing with each other. Harry blinked sleepy eyes at his mate with a goofy smile on his face. “I could get use to being woken up like that you know.”

Severus smiled down at him before withdrawing after giving Harry one last deep kiss. “You better get up sleepy head or else you won’t know what classes you’ve got today. The heads of house will be giving them out over breakfast.” With that said Severus turned and exited the room with his robes billowing around him like there was an artificial breeze.

Smiling contently Harry dressed in his school uniform, noting that the school badge of his robes changed. Before exit their rooms he closed his eyes and focused on his connection with Hogwarts. He didn’t use a visual representation as Severus did because he just wanted to pass on a message rather than have a discussion. Harry could feel the presence in the back of his mind, ‘Thank you for all you’ve done. I and my fellow house mates all love the new accommodation. Thank you for taking care of use.’ A wave of happiness could be felt coming down the bond he shared with the castle and it made him smile.

Making it down to breakfast was quite an ordinary affair, there were the odd stares from some students but nothing as bad as he’s had to deal with before, so it didn’t bother him in the slightest. After walking into the Great Hall and seating himself at his empty house table, Harry began to ponder where his house mates were. He didn’t have long to wonder, soon they began filtering into the hall and sitting at the table. All of them seemed happy and relaxed, apart from Draco who had his impassive mask firmly in place. Harry did happen to notice however that he was sitting next to Luna again, he smirked, he would have to have a little chat with Luna.

As breakfast was in full swing the heads of house began to approach the tables to hand out the student timetables. Professor Flitwick was practically being assaulted by the Ravenclaws who were unhappy about having to wait an extra day to get their schedules while the Gryffindor were more sedated while receiving theirs from Professor McGonagall. Professor Sprout was as bubbly as ever as she handed hers out. Professor Slughorn was back again this year, reprising his role as potions master and head of Slytherin. Harry could already see him starting to select which new students that should be invited to join the ‘slug club’. Harry smiled as Madame Hooch approached him and handed him his timetable. “Congratulations on becoming Head of House Madame Hooch” he greeted her pleasantly.

“Why thank you Mr Potter. I must say I’m looking forward to it and I accepted as soon as the Headmaster asked.” She replied, smiling sweetly at him.

While she moved on to give everyone else their timetables Harry glanced at his own.

Potions - 9.00am – 11.45pm

Lunch – 12.00pm – 1.00pm

Defence Against the Dark Arts – 1.15pm – 4.00pm

Tuesday

Transfiguration - 9.00am – 11.45pm

Lunch – 12.00pm – 1.00pm

Charms - 9.00am – 11.45pm

Harry raised his eyebrows at his new timetable. It was certainly very different. Now he only had two classes a day but they were much longer. ‘You’re definitelyleaving your mark on the school Sev’ he thought at his mate.

‘Would you expect anything less luv?’ was his only reply before he got distracted talking to his house mates. It seemed that everyone was getting along fine despite most of them coming from different houses originally. Before deciding to leave the hall Harry approached the head table with a wicked smile on his face. “We’ll continue from where we left off this morning Sev” he whispered into his mate’s ear while brushing his fingers across the nape of Severus’s neck, causing him to shiver. He practically skipped out of the hall so he could catch up with his friends.

A flustered Severus rose from his seat and started to follow Harry as he left the hall. However he was stopped by a gentle hand placed on this arm. “Young love Severus, leave him be. I need to discuss some school matters with you” said a smiling Minerva.

Severus glanced once at the doors that Harry had just left through and sighed “As you wish Minerva. Would my office be an appropriate place?” he asked.

“Splendid Severus dear” Minerva answered brightly. She then proceeded to guide him to his office as if she sensed his reluctance.

Severus was very confused. He could quite clearly feel Harry’s happiness through their bond but he just had this feeling in his gut that something was wrong. That’s why he tried to follow him this morning before he was waylaid by Minerva. The uneasy feel had been steadily grown since he sat down at the head table for breakfast. He hadn’t taken his eyes off his mate, just to make sure. The further away Minerva was leading him the worse the feeling became.

“For goodness sake Severus! Pay attention, he’s an adult and can look after himself enough to get to class!” snapped Minerva.

Severus stared at her for a moment due to her outburst before freezing on the spot with a look of horror on his face before disappearing in a flash of black flames, his eyes glowing yellow.

Harry was happily walking through the dungeons on his was to potions class. He couldn’t be happier than he was now. He had a gorgeous mate, friends he could count on, a home and soon a family. If Harry was paying more attention to his surroundings he may have noticed that he had been watched since he entered the great hall for breakfast. He would have noticed that he was being stalked now. He would have seen and be able to dodge the curse that came flying at him. Unfortunately he only caught a slight flash of red.

The force of the curse knocked him off his feet and made him crack his head on the wall as he went down. The pain of the Cruciatus curse ripped through his body tearing screams from his throat. His body thrashed about causing him to jerk uncontrollably, once again cracking his head on the stone floor. While they held the curse on he could feel feet kicking and stamping on his arms and legs. All he could think of was his unborn child, ‘Oh god! Please protect the baby! Oh god! SEVERUSSSSSSS!’ he screamed in his mind. It felt like he was under the curse for hours but it couldn’t have been more than a minute. A swift kick and everything went black.

The corridor erupted in a burst of power knocking Harry’s assailants away from his prone body. At the centre of the wave of energy was Severus. His eyes were glowing gold now and he looked murderous. Black wings that shimmered blue when they caught the light burst from Severus back as he let out a roar of rage at seeing his mate unconscious on the floor. The four assailants were winded on the floor and looking terrified at the headmaster. With a wave of his hand they disappeared with a dark flash. He would deal with them later.

Severus crouched down and picked Harry up, cradling him to his chest before flashing away in black flames. He went straight to the infirmary where his appearance startled Poppy who was busy restocking the shelves.

Poppy took one look at Harry who was cradled in Severus’s arms before exclaiming, “My goodness Severus! Quickly place him on the bed!”
