As he reclined on their bed, reading a book about his pregnancy, Harry had to smile at Cedric's antics. Cedric was currently resting his head on his swollen stomach filled with their baby that would be born in two months, singing a lullaby to get the baby to calm down for the night.
And, surprisingly, it seemed to work. Whenever Cedric would sing to his stomach the baby seemed less active and would let Harry sleep through the night instead of waking him up multiple times by kicking him or pressing on his bladder.
Reaching down, Harry ran his fingers through Cedric's hair, causing him to pause from his singing and look up.
“I hope you know that the baby will never go to sleep without you singing that to him or her after its born. You've already spoiled them for your voice...and I hope you know that you'll be the one singing because I'd break glass if I tried.
Laughing, Cedric said, “You aren't that bad, but I'll gladly sing our baby to sleep every night if he or she wants that.”
Smiling, Harry said, “I think they're asleep. Now come up here and cuddle with me.”
Grinning, Cedric crawled up the bed and pulled him close. “I'll gladly cuddle with you as well.”
Curling against Cedric with his head on his chest, Harry sighed and slowly started to drift off. He couldn't wait to hold his baby in his arms while Cedric sung him or her to sleep.
