Chapter 17
Severus was feeling restless that evening. It has been only two days since he came back from his almost two week trip to Durmstrang and he was as angry as he hasn’t been in a long time. His entire stay in the other school was a complete waste of time, because most of the wizarding community there didn’t want to get involved in the conflict, especially because they didn’t have a solid proof that Voldemort was back. The first information he got when he entered Hogwarts was a report from the Slytherin Prefects on how Moody’s DADA classes looked like and that Slytherins were being targeted during those lessons. Seeing how many of his students were injured enraged him even more; even if most of those injuries were not anything major. However the thing that bothered him the most was Sirius’ trial. Severus left only for two weeks and the situation got extremely complicated; he couldn’t forgive himself he wasn’t here when the Ministry officials came to Hogwarts for his son’s blood sample. Slightly comforting was the fact that his son was getting along with Draco again and none of the students dared to ostracize him for that; at least not openly.
It was the day of Sirius’ hearing, but the trial dragged immensely again and the potions master didn’t have any information about the current situation. He tried to brew some simple potions, but after he messed up five of those in a row, he decided he was too nervous about his husband to brew potions. Severus then started reading the sixth year students’ essays, but it only made him vexed and grumpy, not understanding how could anyone write such rubbish after over five years of education.
“Severus?” he heard a familiar voice coming from the fireplace. He walked over there with a set of essays in his hand and saw the face of his friend.
“Lucius, to what do I owe the pleasure,” greeted him the potions master with a bit strained voice.
“I see going through students’ work is still making you grumpy,” Malfoy snickered when his friend snorted at the comment. “I believe I might have something that will brighten up your mood.”
“And what would that be?”
“I just came back from the Ministry and I thought you’d like to know that your husband had been lifted off charges and released from the Ministry. Also, he and.. HIS SPOUSE were given full custody over their son Orion Black, formerly known as Harry Potter.”
In that moment, all the essays slipped out of Severus’ hands and dropped to the ground. The potions master stood dumbstruck, trying to comprehend the amazing news he has just received.
“You’re welcome Severus,” Lucius smirked when the other wizard didn’t say anything. “I don’t know where you’re going to find him, but you should definitely thank Regulus for his help.”
When Lucius disappeared and Severus was left alone in his chamber, he picked up the paper from the floor and put it aside. He didn’t feel like reading anymore of those works. Instead, he took out the box in which he kept the photographs of him, Sirius and Orion, when they were still a happy family. Going through those photos, seeing Orion’s smiling face made him feel a mix of happiness and sadness at the same time. He was beyond happy that Sirius was free and their son was recognized by the Ministry by his true identity, but Severus couldn’t help but feel a tinge of pain when he thought of how he’d messed up his relations with Orion through the last four years.
Later that night he woke up every half an hour. He couldn’t sleep; whenever he closed his eyes he was reminded of the times he has spent with Sirius, here in Hogwarts, hiding their relationship from the world. Those were happy memories, but they also triggered something he hasn’t experienced in years. After yet another dream - this time a memory of his first night with Sirius in their house in Edinburgh - Severus couldn’t go back to sleep at all.
He checked that it was almost two at night and with a somewhat frustrated grumble he moved in his bed and rolled onto his belly. He grumbled even more when he felt discomfort lying in that position. Severus quickly moved on his back again and allowed one hand to slip under the blankets. It slowly slid down his chest and abdomen, just to stop over his pants. With mild amusement he noticed he had a hard on.
“The effect that cocky mutt has on me is inexplicable,” he muttered to himself but allowed his hand to rub against his hard bulge. He couldn’t quite remember when was the last time he felt this kind of pleasure, but he was immediately reminded of how much he liked it.
His hand continued to move in teasing circles over his penis, while the other hand slipped under his shirt. The tension was growing even more whenever his fingers brushed over his nipples or the tip of his cock.
“Sirius,” came out a soft moan from his lips when his fingers circled around the head of his shaft and a wave of pleasure washed through him. Severus closed his eyes and allowed the images of his sexy naked husband play in his mind. The potions master took delight in the view of Sirius kneeling on the bed between his thighs and stroking his cock. Severus could almost feel the touch of the other man’s hands on his oversensitive skin. The imaginary Sirius leaned forward and stopped only inches above his husband’s lightly twitching penis; he looked Severus in the eyes; an evil, lecherous grin rose on his lips and he waited for the other wizard’s reaction.
“Sirius…please,” moaned the potions master again, even though he knew it was only his imagination that the other man was there. Black from his fantasy didn’t really wait long and obediently lowered his lips and kissed every inch of the man’s thighs and shaft; he then slowly took all the length of the cock into his mouth. Severus immediately wrapped his hand around his own penis to match the wonderful sensations he knew Sirius’ tongue would give him. He stroked his manhood faster every time his husband sped up his head movements. The potions master was gradually forgetting himself in the pleasurable feelings his hands combined with the erotic dream were giving him.
“More. Suck harder…” Severus groaned when he felt he was getting closer. Sirius from his fantasy nearly laughed at the potions master’s words, but enthusiastically continued giving the man a blowjob. One of his hands moved up to the man’s chest, while the other massaged his balls. All the extra stimulation would be enough to send Severus over the edge and he knew it; he could clearly remember the long sensual and sometimes even obscene evenings he spent with his husband; he remembered how much pleasure and satisfaction each of Sirius’ lewd ideas gave him. Thinking about it caused him to stroke his cock faster and harder until he finally couldn’t hold it anymore. He released a generous load of cum all over his chest with a loud, low growl, “Sirius!”
The wizard quickly cast a cleaning charm and lied on the bed panting and staring at the ceiling. He was never a person who masturbated very often – he could hold back his needs for weeks, years even – but he was always lucky to have his husband by his side when he needed to let go of some tension. This time however, Sirius felt both close and far from him; it was as if Black was standing almost in front of him, but then again, he was out of his reach. That feeling bothered Severus and he’d try anything to get his lover back…if only Sirius allowed him to do so.
Next morning, Dumbledore called some of the members of the Order of the Phoenix to his office. It wasn’t usual from them to meet in Hogwarts, but the current situation forced the Headmaster to take special steps. Everyone in the office already read the latest Daily Prophet so they had a good idea of why they were called for a meeting.
“Albus, what does this change?” asked Molly Weasley, who showed up with her husband.
“Why would this change anything?” asked Emmeline Vance. “The boy is still the one that was chosen by Voldemort, which means he’s the child from the prophecy.”
“Yes, but the prophecy also says about the boy’s parents. People who defied Voldemort three times. We know Sirius has done that, but we don’t know the other parent…before yesterday no one even knew he was married. The question is if Voldemort still thinks of Harry as his main opponent or maybe he’ll try to find a different boy fitting the prophecy,” explained Moody.
“I believe his name is no longer Harry,” noted Severus; his voice sounding very annoyed by this unexpected morning meeting. It started to get on his nerves that everyone tried to make planes behind the boy’s back, while no one even said a word to cheer the teen up.
“Severus, what is your opinion on the matter?” asked Dumbledore ignoring the potions master’s earlier comment. “Do you think Voldemort will try to look for a different boy from the prophecy?”
“I doubt it, but so far I wasn’t summoned to him yet. I’m sure the news have already reached him, but I will be certain of where do we stand after I’m called for a meeting,” answered Severus.
“What will be the consequences if he decides to find a different teen fitting the prophecy? He has already marked Harry as his enemy…with the scar,” Arthur Weasley wasn’t the only one who couldn’t switch to the different name of the boy.
Those reactions, as well as tons of letters the black haired teen received this morning proved that the wizarding world was in an uproar. But not because they disagreed with the Wizengamot’s verdict about the boy, but because they were afraid to lose their Saviour; they feared there will be no hero to save them now if the Dark Lord returns. Realising this made Severus snort at how pathetic some witches and wizards were, relying their lives on actions of a teenage boy.
“I do not know the identity of Harry’s other parent…the Minister refused to show that document to me, but I think it’s best to let Voldemort believe Harry still fits the prophecy,” said Dumbledore.
“But Albus, how?” asked Minerva shaken by the news and worried about her student.
“Voldemort needs to be convinced that the other parent also defied him three times…just like Lily Potter, for example,” answered the older wizard.
“But how do we know this is true? Did Sirius tell anyone who this mysterious person is?” Molly seemed very concerned at the moment. Her motherly instinct didn’t allow to hurt her children’s friend, but she also didn’t want to lie away Lily Potter’s reputation; after all, Dumbledore’s suggestion implied the late witch had an affair with Sirius.
“No, we do not know the person yet, but I’m sure Sirius will want to protect his son and eventually he’s going to agree to this plan,” the Order members didn’t seem convinced at all; even Severus scowled at him. Not seeing any other solution, the headmaster turned around to face the portrait of Phineas Black and asked, “Dear Phineas, you’re aware that your descendant, Sirius has a child…a son.”
“Of course I’m aware of it,” answered the former headmaster casting a suspicious look at the group gathered in the office. His gaze landed on Severus in particular, but fortunately not long enough for anyone to notice anything odd about it.
“We’re concerned about the boy’s well-being and the turn this war will take. That’s why I was hoping you could reveal to us the identity of the boy’s second parent. I’m sure you understand how important it is in the current situation to plan ahead and not be surprised by things,” Albus tried his best to convince Phineas.
“Dumbledore, I believe my role is to advise you in terms of managing the school. Hence why I don’t plan on discussing my family’s issues with you, and definitely not with all of these people.”
Old Black huffed angrily and vanished from the painting, leaving them with no answers.
“In this case, we have no choice. I’ll contact Sirius to let him in on the plan,” started Albus and addressed the potions master. “Severus, you’re part in this will be crucial. You need to convince Voldemort and the Death Eaters that Harry is indeed the boy from the prophecy and his mother was Lily Potter…”
“I will not,” interrupted him Severus, stunning everyone with his short but definite answer. “I will not lie about the boy’s parents…and I certainly won’t smear Lily’s reputation, because no matter how much I disliked James Potter, Lily did love that idiot and she would never cheat on him…and definitely not with Sirius Black of all people. I suggest asking Black about the truth and not taking steps behind his back….If this is all, I have to leave and tend to my duties.”
Since the very morning every student in school was observing a certain famous Gryffindor. The Daily Prophet that day announced the verdict of Sirius Black’s trial and it caused an uproar not only at Hogwarts but in the entire country. Owls were coming in with new letters every hour and everyone expected an answer; some kind of reaction from the black haired teen, but the boy remained silent.
Even the teachers didn’t force him to say anything during classes, which worked for the teen perfectly. To be honest, he was amused by people’s reactions at the beginning, but now it was starting to get on his nerves. His housemates and students from other houses kept whispering behind his back and pointing at him all day long. The only person who acted normally was Draco. The blond not only treated him as he usually did, but he also stopped other Slytherins from staring at his cousin. The weirdest reaction was from Hermione and the Weasleys. He expected them to be shocked or at least mad at Sirius that he didn’t tell anyone that he had a son, but instead, all of them acted as if nothing happened; they avoided the topic as much as possible. They also kept calling him by his former name, although he understood it wouldn’t be so easy for people to get used to his real name.
He was on his way to the Great Hall with Hermione, Ginny and Ron when suddenly he was grabbed by the arm and forcefully dragged in a different direction.
“’Mione, what are you doing?” asked the teen bewildered by the girl’s odd behaviour.
“I forgot to take my books from the library so I thought we should go back and get them…it won’t take long,” she tried explaining, but it was clear that she was lying; especially when she started nervously glancing at something behind his back.
“We can go there after dinner. I’m starving here,” protested the black haired teen not happy at the prospect of going all the way back to the library.
“Madam Pince won’t be happy if we bother her after dinner,” said Ginny, also glancing at something behind him.
“What’s wrong with you two?” asked the boy and yanked his arms from the girls’ grip. “The library is still open for an hour after dinner. I’m not going there right now.”
“Um…Harry?” started Ron and gave his friend a weird look. “I think you might be interested to know that…”
The redhead didn’t get the chance to finish his sentence. At that moment the black haired Gryffindor realised everyone around them stopped and pointed in the direction of the main entrance. They were whispering something and turning their stares from the door to their small group. Following their gazes, he turned around and saw that by the entrance stood professor McGonagall who was having a heated conversation with the very wizard the teen wanted to see all day.
Sirius Black stood there proudly as a free man. He looked more than presentable; he had his best clothes on and the Black family ring shining on his hand. His black hair fell down in soft waves on his back and only added to the already stunning look of the man. The teen had to admit his father was handsome; the dreamy looks some of the female students were sending Sirius’ way only confirmed that he was indeed good-looking.
Finally their eyes met and Sirius smiled heartily to his son. He said something to Minerva and walked up the stairs towards the black haired teen. Both of them were excited to see each other again, especially in these circumstances, but they also remembered they had to put up an act for everyone; and so they did.
“Will you ever be able to forgive me?” asked Sirius when he reached the top of the stairs and stood in front of his son. “I never intended it to take me so long to find you.”
“I don’t think there’s anything to forgive. I always thought I don’t have a family, but now…I have a father,” said the boy, playing his role of a surprised young wizard perfectly. “If anything…that’s something to thank for and not to forgive.”
Sirius placed both of his hands on the teen’s shoulders and looked at him proudly, “Orion Black…my son.”
After that he pulled the boy into a tight, fatherly embrace and stayed that way until his son returned the gestured. Both of them had to control themselves not to burst out laughing at the show they were putting up for the entire school to watch. Moments later they were interrupted by professor McGonagall and Severus who sternly reprimanded everyone for blocking the hallway and rushing them into the Great Hall.
“I’m sure young Mr Black will find his way to the Great Hall by himself,” the potions master informed Hermione, Ginny and Ron in his usual cold voice. When all the students ran into the Great Hall, Severus looked longingly at his son and husband, but didn’t say anything; He just smiled slightly and headed for dinner, leaving the other two alone.
“No progress with Severus, I see,” noticed Sirius and draped his arm around the boy’s shoulder leading him to one of the smaller courtyards, where they could talk without being disturbed.
“It’s not that I’m not trying. I see that he’s not a bad person now, but…I just can’t force myself to call him ‘father’,” explained Orion making sure no one was listening to their conversation. “Will you tell everyone that he’s my…”
“No, not yet. It’s better if Albus doesn’t know the exact relation between us, but eventually I would like to reveal this little secret,” told him Sirius when they got to the courtyard. “But I’m going to wait until you tell me you’re ok with this.”
“Thank you…and I’m sorry you have to do this for my sake.”
“What are you talking about?” asked the older wizard perplexed.
“You’re married…you want to be together and I’m stopping you.”
“Well after all that we went through I’m not sure if he ever wants to be with me again, but even if that was the issue…we would have found a way to get around all the problems. We have practice in keeping our relationship a secret, so don’t worry about us,” Sirius winked to his son and gestured to the nearby bench, suggesting they should sit down. “What I wanted to talk with you about is something more complicated. I’m sure you’ve read the article in the Daily Prophet and know exactly what the Mediwizards said about your striking resemblance to James and Lily. Now I don’t want you to think I’m pressuring you to change anything…I’m happy I have you back alive. That’s all that matters to me, but I want you to know there might be a chance to get rid of that glamour.”
“Really? How? Dad, please tell me!” Orion nearly jumped in his seat hearing this information. Since his trip to Paris he couldn’t help the feeling he wanted…he needed to get his real look back. “I will do anything it takes. I want to be myself. I want to be the person I was born and not someone others want me to be!”
“I know, but you have to remember this is a very complicated magical ritual…you’d have to go to St. Mungo’s. Good thing is that we know who meddled with your blood and magical core, but it’s still risky.”
“I still want to try it. What do I have to do to go through this ritual?” asked Orion. “Will it reveal to the world who was the person that cast the glamour on me?”
“It most likely will, but we’ll keep that information for a more suitable time. If we reveal it right now, Albus might panic and cause us even more trouble. The best option will be to slowly undermine his position and drive him crazy…that’s when everyone will turn against him…” explained Sirius after casting a few extra privacy charms.
“That’s when our family takes revenge and the opportunity to gain power inside the Ministry?” asked the teen with an evil smirk on his face.
“Exactly. Seems like my firstborn inherited cunning from his papa,” older Black fought back a laugh at the indignant face his son has made. “Nonetheless, I’ll give you time to think about the glamour matter. If you still feel like going through with it, we’re going to apply to the Ministry and St. Mungo’s for the ritual.”
They’ve spent some more time discussing Orion’s upcoming OWLs, his performance in different classes, but also what they will do together for winter break and later during summer. When they reached the Great Hall again, dinner was almost finished so Sirius rushed his son to go in and eat something.
“You’ll keep in touch with me more often now, right?” asked the teen.
“Of course I will,” assured him the wizard with a smile. “But there’s also one more thing that I need to ask of you. You know the situation is complicated, dangerous even…that’s why I want you to learn Occlumency. Please ask Severus for help with that.”
Orion wasn’t very enthusiastic about the idea, but he agreed to give it a try. After all the recent events he understood it was necessary for his and his family’s safety to protect their secrets from some witches and wizards – Dumbledore in particular.
“I have to go meet with Albus in his office now,” informed him the man and gave him a strong hug before they parted. “I suspect he might want to change the Order’s headquarters.”
Sirius stood there, in the corridor, for a while longer, watching his son joining his housemates. The man couldn’t help the smirk forming on his face when he noticed the confused stares everyone was giving him and Orion. He also noticed some of the older female students staring at him in particular and almost drooling, which made him feel even more smug.
“Too bad for them I’m too old and already taken,” he said to himself and headed to the headmaster’s office. “But good to know my charm is still working on the ladies.”
Suddenly, when he was passing one of the smaller classrooms, the door to it opened and someone dragged him inside. The room was dark, but he could see there was only one person inside. The door was quickly locked, a privacy charm cast and he was pushed by two strong arms against the door.
“I have never heard of a less useful charm then a one that’s working on the ladies, when the caster is a wizard who fancies men,” he heard a sarcastic comment said by a deep male voice; a voice he knew all too well.
“Is it jealousy I’m sensing Severus?” Sirius asked teasingly. He didn’t expect such a turn of events, but he couldn’t complain. His husband seemed to care about him after all – at least, if he was to judge by the fact that the potions master locked them in an empty room, pinned him to the door and their faces were inches away from each other.
“I’d say possessive is a more adequate word,” Severus whispered into the other man’s ear and nearly caused Sirius to get goose bumps. “It was unimaginably cruel of you to make me worry about you so much the last two months.”
“So you do care about me after all,” Sirius kept teasing and in the same time rested his hands on the man’s bottom. He definitely missed the closeness he used to share with the other wizard, and the growing hard-on in his pants was only a proof of that.
“I always did. That’s why your lack of trust in me during last war hurt so much. But it seems I can’t live without a certain impudent mutt,” when those words left his lips, Severus leaned forward catching Sirius’ own lips in a passionate kiss. Their hands wandered around each other’s bodies; tugging at their clothes; fingers tangling in their hair and lips eagerly searching one another. For a moment they felt like back in their Hogwarts’ days, when they had to hide from the teachers and housemates; Regulus was the only person among students who knew about their relationship and he even helped them sometimes in their secret dates.
“And here I thought I will never get you back,” laughed Sirius when they finally broke the kiss.
“Will you really be able to forgive me for not trying to get you out of Azkaban…all those years? Do you honestly want me back in your life?”
“Severus, remember that time when we were in school and you nearly died, because I accidentally pushed you to go to the Shrieking Shack? You almost died back then, but you forgave me...you married me and started a family. Then why wouldn’t I forgive you? I’m not without a blame this time either…and you were grieving after our son.”
“I promise you, I will make things right this time,” swore Severus, still holding his husband in his arms. “I’m going to do everything it takes to protect you and Orion.”
“And I will never lose faith in you again.”
The last days of October were passing by rather quickly. It was almost Halloween and for once in his life Orion wasn’t afraid of that day; he had this gut feeling that nothing bad was going to happen to him or his dear ones this time.
At the moment, the only thing that bothered him were lessons with Mad-Eye Moody. So far the ex-auror didn’t try to use the Unforgivable Curses like his imposter last year, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t planning on doing so later on. For the last two months they’ve been revising all the charms and spells from previous years, but mostly the rather dangerous and harmful ones. They’ve learned a few new and useful ones too, but the problem wasn’t in the spells, but how Moody used them. No one was surprised anymore that the man was a bit paranoid, but when he started stressing out students during his class, frightening them by some offensive spells and shouting at them about constant vigilance, then it started to bother Orion and a few other students. Unfortunately, young Black had to admit that most of his housemates didn’t see the failure in Mad-Eye’s methods, because they weren’t targets of those attacks; or at least not that often.
At the beginning of the week, Moody told them they will be having practical tests during every DADA lesson. Today, however, they understood what he meant by practical tests. Gryffindors and Slytherins were having this lesson together as usual, and everyone was occupied reading and taking notes on vampire bats, when suddenly professor Moody conjured several masks that popped out of nowhere in different parts of the classroom. The masks resembled the Death Eaters’ masks very much, which only added to the fright it caused for some students. Orion noted that most of the Slytherins either didn’t react at all or immediately cast a stunning spell to get rid of the bothersome objects. The teen was impressed by the calm, well trained reaction from those students and he noted to himself he’d have to ask Draco more about those duelling sessions he was having with the Snakes. Most Gryffindors reacted more or less correctly to the unexpected test, but some, like Neville and Seamus were taken by surprise and fell off of their chairs, which caused a few Slytherins to snicker.
“Longbottom! Finnigan! What did I say earlier?” asked them Moody nearly shouting.
“Constant vigilance, professor,” the boys said in unison.
“Exactly! You never know when a dark wizard…or a Death Eater attacks you and how,” saying this Mad-Eye glared at the Snakes and went back to writing something on the blackboard.
In Orion’s opinion it was somewhat discriminating to accuse students whose parents were Death Eaters. It didn’t mean that those teens would also become Death Eaters or that they were evil at all. However, it seemed he was the only one in the room to think so; even Hermione didn’t seem to notice anything out of order. That however wasn’t the last practical test Moody prepared for them that day. The only difference was that most of the other ‘attacks’ were directed at the Snakes – first, one of the girls was given a book to hold, but it proved to be under the Flagrante curse and the girl burned her hands; later on, Crabbe was forced to block one of Moody’s unexpected attacks, but he was too slow and ended up getting hit by the Conjunctivitis curse. Orion didn’t really like Crabbe very much, but it was still outrageous that a teacher used a curse on a student.
If that wasn’t enough, one of the vampire bats got out of the cage and was flying towards Pansy Parkinson. Seamus, who wanted to play a prank on the girl for laughing at him earlier, cast the Engorgement charm and snickered watching the girl panic.
“Reducto!” called out Draco pointing his wand at the huge bat and destroying it just when it was about to tangled itself in Pansy’s hair. It was clear that the blond was furious by now that Moody’s actions were becoming openly hostile towards his housemates, but he knew better than to argue with the ex-auror.
At some point, Malfoy cast a glance at his cousin and smiled to him reassuringly; Orion was sure his face must have been showing that he was horrified by what was going on during this class. He smiled back and gave the blond a curious look, when he saw Malfoy writing something and then enchanting the piece of paper into a small bird that was flying towards Orion across the classroom.
“I see Mr Malfoy, you’re sending love letters to Potter,” commented Mad-Eye still writing something on the blackboard.
Hearing that comment most of the Gryffindors burst out laughing; some of the Muggle-borns made their own comments about how embarrassing it must be for a teenage boy to hear a suggestion that he’s gay. That made Orion even more confused and angry at them, because they were making fun only out of Draco; and besides, now that he knew he had two fathers he was starting to look at same sex relationships differently. However it struck him that he has never heard or asked about the general opinion on such couples in the wizarding world.
“Too bad Potter is not interested,” said Moody and cast a burning spell; the message from the blond immediately turned into flames.
“Good thing there is no Potter in this classroom, then” snorted Draco, obviously angry at how most of the school staff and students refused to acknowledge his cousin’s true identity.
Later that day, Orion and his friends were sitting in the Gryffindor common room. The twins were trying to sell as many of their sweet inventions to the younger students; Ron played Exploding Snap; Ginny was flirting with Dean, but kept constantly glancing Orion’s way; while Hermione was focused on her Arithmancy notes.
The girl has recently noticed that her black haired friend was taking some extra notes during the Arithmancy class that she didn’t understand. With the upcoming OWLs she was becoming a bit restless, worrying constantly that she’s going to miss something and fail. She noticed a strange old book lying next to the boy and his arithmancy notes, but she couldn’t read the title.
“Harry, what’s that book you have there? Is it something extra for our classes?” she asked, but didn’t see the slight wince the boy made hearing her use his old name.
“This?” he asked showing her the book. “I was experimenting with improving some protection charms, but didn’t have much success so dad send me this book. It belonged to my grandfather…he was an expert in this type of magic.”
“I’m sorry, I tend to forget that Sirius is your dad,” apologized Hermione and quickly ran through the book. When she was about to hand it over back to her friend, she noticed a pile of papers and folders in the boy’s hand. “What are those booklets?”
“Professor McGonagall gave me those earlier today. I had a meeting with her about OWLs…which subjects would be worth to continue in NEWTs and what career might be good for me.”
“What’s there to think about? We’re going to be aurors, right Harry?” said happily Ron, sitting by his friend’s side.
“Well…to be honest I’m not sure I want to be an auror,” answered Orion a bit hesitant when he saw his friends’ shocked faces. “I really don’t feel like hunting down criminals.”
“But you always wanted to be one,” said Dean, who joined them when Ginny got too distracted to continue their lovey-dovey time.
“That was just an idea, but after last year and the latest events as well…I really have to think about a lot of things. And frankly speaking, at the moment I have more pressing matters to deal with then choosing a job,” explained Orion with a heavy sigh.
“More pressing matters? Such as?” asked him Ron, who still looked a bit confused and down that his friend didn’t want to become an auror with him.
“Well…everyone knows this isn’t me,” saying this he pointed to his face. “So, dad told me there is a ritual that can take this glamour off of me, and I’d regain my real appearance.”
“But that’s dangerous!” protested Hermione, but Ginny quickly agreed with her. “I’ve read about those powerful glamour spells and according to what you told us so far, this particular glamour runs deep in your blood and magical core even. This could seriously damage something if anyone tries to take it off.”
“Yes I’m aware of that, but I want to be myself! How would you feel if you looked like someone you’re not? How would that make your parents feel like?” asked her Orion and looked for any support from his other friends; however, all of them kept silent, not sure what to say. “I finally want to be myself and do what I want.”
“You can do that without that risky ritual,” suggested Ginny.
“Really? Can I? Then why most people are still referring to me as Harry Potter?”
“Because we’ve known you as Harry Potter for years and it’s difficult to suddenly call you differently. It’s you who’s taking it awfully calm. Your godfather turns out to be your father and you’re acting as if that was the most normal thing ever,” commented Ron.
“Because I’m happy that I’m not Harry Potter! Why wouldn’t I be happy that I have a family? A father that risked his life and freedom to keep me safe?” Orion’s words left them speechless. They all realised they were afraid of the changes; that they will lose their famous friend, their Saviour. Hermione was worried that the teen was now a pureblood and might become hostile towards her; Ron was afraid to lose his friend to Draco Malfoy; Ginny was concerned that he might become someone else and her feelings for him might change; and all the other Gryffindors were just worried to lose their Golden Boy, the Chosen One.
Voldemort apparated to the private part of the castle. He wanted nothing more than to get in bed with his husband after a long busy day. For the last few days, he’s been travelling to different countries in order to meet with the most influential and ancient magical families. Now that Sirius was free and the truth about Orion was known, things would become complicated and they needed every possible support. According to Severus’ reports the Order was trying to find followers in France, Romania and Egypt so far. However most of the wizarding communities in those countries didn’t trust Dumbledore and his vision of magical world. That worked in Voldemort’s advantage, who decided to find support where Dumbledore failed. So far he was successful – he had part of the Romanian and French wizarding families on his side.
Smiling to himself at the thought of Albus’ downfall, he entered the bedroom. Only half of the lights in the room were lit, but he could see Regulus sleeping peacefully in the big, double bed. Voldemort felt bad for leaving his husband all alone with the supervision of the Death Eaters’ trainings, but he had to do it and he knew Regulus was more than capable of handling a group of dark witches and wizards.
Not wanting to wake the younger man, he headed to the bathroom to refresh after the trip. When the door to the room was locked, he got rid of the snake-like glamour, revealing his handsome features. He tossed his clothes aside, to the laundry bin and stepped into a large bathtub. The wizard relaxed in the warm water and leaned his head back; he closed his eyes and wondered how to bring up the matter of pregnancy potion again. He has waited long enough for Sirius to get free and now he wanted to take care of his family life with Regulus. Before he met younger Black, he never thought he’d be able to get so attached to someone, not to mention getting married; however now, he was planning to have a child with the man; not only because both Regulus and him needed an heir, but because he genuinely wanted to have a child with his husband.
Voldemort lost track of time, but after a while he heard a quite click coming from the door, which was followed by the door opening. He didn’t need to turn around to know who to expect; seconds later he felt a pair of slender but strong arms wrapping around his neck and playfully sliding down his bare chest.
“Did I wake you up?” he asked catching one of the younger wizard’s hands in his own.
“No…that’s the problem. You wanted to deny me the pleasure of taking a bath with you,” teased Regulus whispering the words into the man’s ear. “So mean of you Tom.”
He didn’t have to wait long for the reaction. Voldemort shifted in the bathtub and turned around to face his lover. To his surprise Regulus was standing there completely naked, with a smug yet lecherous smile.
“Someone couldn’t wait to see me, eh?” asked the older wizard amused and gently pulled his husband into the water with him.
“You’re the one who said I’m impatient,” smirked Regulus and leaned forward to kiss the man. His arms wrapped around his chest and ran in circles on the dark wizard’s back.
Voldemort couldn’t stay calm for long when his young lover was so obviously in the mood for some fun. He pulled Regulus onto his lap, spreading his legs and placing them on either side of him; that way he had perfect access to Black’s most sensitive area. While Regulus was occupied with the kiss and their tongues fighting for dominance, Tom placed one of his hands on the man’s bottom and massaged it thoroughly; his other hand ended up around the younger wizard’s slowly growing and hardening cock. Encouraged by a suppressed moan of his husband, the dark wizard strengthened the grip and stroked the other one’s penis harder. In return, Regulus moved his hands down to Tom’s cock and stimulated the already big, hard member.
The two of them forgot themselves in the pleasure they were giving one another. Moans and growl were filling the air and it was getting hotter in the room, even though the water in the bathtub went cold minutes ago. Regulus was slowly losing control of his own body and the moment he felt his husband’s fingers slipping inside his entrance, he lost all the will to stay composed. His hands left Tom’s pulsating cock and wandered to his face; he placed another passionate kiss on his lips and broke it, staying only millimetres away from Voldemorts lips.
“I can’t take it anymore,” he said and quickly moved away from the wizard; leaned over the edge of the bathtub, exposing himself to his husband. “Fuck me, Tom. Now.”
“How could I be so cruel to deny such a honest request,” the Dark Lord subconsciously licked his lips and moved closer to his lover. He stroked his own penis a few more times and pressed two fingers inside Regulus to stretch him a bit more.
“Don’t bother,” complained younger wizard, took Voldemort’s fingers away from his back and pushed backwards to rub the erect shaft against his entrance. “Just do it…and don’t even try to deny that you like it that way.”
Not waiting anymore, the dark wizard pushed his penis all the way inside his husband. He enjoyed the feeling of tightness around him as well as the moans and gasps of Regulus, who tried to calm himself down after the sudden penetration. “You know me so well, love.”
Regulus sent him a teasing look and waited for the man to start thrusting in and out of him. With amazing skill, Tom quickly found the younger man’s prostate and hit it every time he pushed in. The Dark Lord’s movements were rough and strong, but Regulus didn’t mind; he got used to making love in such a manner and if he had to be honest, he loved it when his husband got a bit crazy in bed; he was sure Tom wouldn’t hurt him even if he liked their sex to be rough from time to time. They could both barely take the intensity of the pleasure they were giving each other and they needed release. Regulus’ hand wandered to the back to reach the other man’s hand, while the older one slipped his other hand down between Black’s legs to stimulate his cock.
“Tom…don’t stop…Tom!” was all that came out of Regulus’ mouth when he felt his husband reaching his peak and releasing his load deep inside of him. Moments later he couldn’t hold it anymore and came as well.
Both men were exhausted and catching air with difficulty, but they felt satisfied. Voldemort was the first to regain his strength and composure so he got out of the bathtub and helped his lover to dry up and get into bed.
“That was the best ‘welcome home’ surprise I could have asked for,” said Tom smirking at his lover, when they were already in their bed.
“I guess we shouldn’t tell our future baby the details of this night,” said casually Regulus and reached for something in the bedside table.
“Why would we even want to tell our children about our sex life?”
“Well, I suppose they might not be interested in the details of their conception,” the younger wizard grinned and showed his husband a familiar little bottle, that was evidently missing some of its contents.
“You drank the potion from Severus?” that was indeed a huge shock for the Dark Lord. “And here I was looking for a plan to convince you to drink it.”
“In case it didn’t work, though, we still have plenty of it left,” the younger man sent him a playful look. “And I’m definitely in for round number two.”
