Chapter 18 On Equal Terms

�What do you mean? There is no one else.�

�There�s me, I can tell you what he�s planning.�
�NO! Absolutely not. You were nearly � last time you were there. No.�
�Severus, think about what I�m saying. I don�t intend to walk up to him and say �Hi, how you doing? Wanna tell me you�re plans.� He�d try and kill me.�
�Exactly. So how � of course, the mirror? Like you did with me. You can see the Dark Lord also?�
�I can see and hear anyone I want, and it�s a lot safer then your way.�
�That is true. But Sky, he will still summon me once he discovers I have survived. I shall not be able to refuse when my mark burns.�
�Right, and you�re just gonna show up and say; �Here I am. Do your worst.� �
�I do not exactly have a choice in the matter.� He ground out.
How could he get it through to her that when the mark burned you had to go. The pain would only intensify and drive him insane with agony if he did not.
That was when Sky made her decision. She couldn�t stop him going back to Hogwarts, and if he was going to get called by that insane snakelike lunatic, then she was going with him, although she wasn�t going to tell him that part.
�Looks like I haven�t got much choice then, I�ll have to come back with you. At least I can heal you if you do survive.�
Severus narrowed his eyes at her. He had won a small victory in as much as she would return with him, but somehow, he felt it was a hollow victory. She gave in too easily.
�You are up to something. What is it, Sky?�

�Nothing, I just want to make sure you�re okay. You said you wanted me to come back with you.�
�And you refused, point blank. Now you have suddenly changed your mind. Why?�
�Look, if you don�t want me to come back then say so. But don�t question why when you have my answer.�
He knew she wasn�t going to tell him anything more so decided to leave it, for the moment. �Very well. I do want you to come with me and I am glad that you have decided to do so.�
�Severus?�

He turned his eyes to hers, raising an eyebrow in question.
�Will I have to stay in your cupboard again?�
He laughed a bit uncomfortably. �No. Definitely not. I am sure Albus has your rooms ready for you. They will be just as you left them.�
�But I don�t want to stay up there. I want to be near you.�
He turned away from her, unable to keep the smug look from his face.
�That can be arranged. Would you like your own rooms, or would you prefer to share with me?�
Sky blushed. �With you.� She told him shyly.
�Yesss.� He thought, throwing an imaginary fist in the air. Severus schooled his face and turned back to her.
�If that is what you prefer, then I shall speak to the Headmaster. I doubt if he will cause a fuss. Plus, you will have access to this place from my rooms so it makes sense for you to be there.�
�I have access to the wall wherever I am, Severus. That is not why I want to share with you.�
His eyes became heated and he took hold of her. �I know why you want to be with me Sky. And it is for the same reason I want you with me.�
Before she had chance to respond, he picked her up and carried her through to the bedroom. He laid her on the bed and using his wand he quickly divested them of their clothing.
�Now I will show you one of the reasons why I want you with me. You proved today that you can handle me quite easily. Let�s see just how much more of me you can take.�
She shivered at the intense fire burning in his eyes; the deep timbre of his voice running through her. His words clearly indicating that today�s session had only been a small sample of what he could do. She felt the wetness between her legs start to dribble down her thighs as he climbed on the bed beside her and reached out to pull him to her.
Severus was over the moon that Sky agreed to stay with him at Hogwarts. This was something he dreamed of but never expected to happen. Yes he wanted her body. He wanted to fuck her like the world depended on it. But he also wanted more then that. Severus wanted her to be with him for all time. He was not a lovey dovey type of man nor was he into cooing over babies and stupid things like that. Besides, it would not be long before the Dark Lord called him and killed him. The short time he had left he wanted to spend with Sky.

Somehow she was all that mattered to him now. Their eyes locked and Severus watched as her eyes became almost black with desire. The stone at her neck was glowing with a soft opalescent light, the wand on the bedside vying with its own intensity.
�Gods woman do you know how beautiful you look?� He purred in her ear as he positioned himself on top of her.
Sky entered his mind, seeing herself through his eyes. He felt the intrusion and opened his mouth in surprise. She smiled at him and allowed him to see into hers, sharing the connection so he could see what she did.
�This is amazing. How do you �?�
�Later. Show. Later.� She told him. The feel of his cock pulsing against her entrance was too distracting for her to start explaining the mind connection to him now. Plus, she was feeling his pleasure and it was going to drive her insane if he didn�t do something soon.

�Can�t. Want to. Can�t. Please.�
�Yes you can. Concentrate. Tell me what you want or I shall torment you like this all night.�
�Nooo. Need you do it.�
�Do what? Tell me what you want me to do. If you want me to fuck you then say so.�
He knew he could not hold out much longer but he wanted her to tell him she wanted him. He needed to hear her say it.
�Say it Sky. Ask me to fuck you and I will.�
�Yes that. You do.�
Severus gave three gentle thrusts, not enough to enter her but enough to send her into a frenzy.
�Tell me.� He hissed. �Ask me. Beg me.�
�Please fuck me.� She cried. Tears were coursing down her cheeks now her need was so great.
�Yes.�
She had spoken the magic words and he drove into her core with all his might, sending her sliding up the mattress with the force of it.

Sky screamed out as he smashed into her cervix but she loved it.
�Again Severus. Again.�
Severus was shocked. He had not meant to be quite so brutal but she wanted more and he could not refuse her. He pulled back slowly, gripped her shoulders and pulled her back down the bed. Keeping hold of her shoulders this time, he drove into her again with equal force, feeling like he was going to bust a hole through her back.
Again she screamed, but her hands flew down to his buttocks and were squeezing and pulling at him, urging him to do it again.

�Oh Merlin. She wants this. I don�t believe this.� Severus had often wished in the past that he would one day find a woman who would enjoy his brutal ardour, but until now he never expected there would be anyone that would or even could.

�You do realise that I can never let you go now that you belong to me for all time.� Severus did not expect to say those words to any woman in his lifetime. But here he was, saying them now.
�From now on, I am your family, Sky, me and no one else. I shall protect you, hold you, make love to you. I hope you can accept that because I am not willing to give you up now that I have you. Sky, I want to be the one who comes to you when you cry.�
Her eyes searched his, letting his words sink in to her consciousness. �He wanted hers for all time. Be her family. A family that she could touch and hold and would hold on to her. He wanted to be there when she cri ��
�How? How did you know that?� She pushed away from him slightly. �Tell me how you know.�
�Know what?� Severus was so caught up in the moment he did not realise what he had let slip.
�You � you said you wanted to come to me when � when I cry. How did you know? I never told you that no one comes.�
Severus could have kicked himself, hard. He lowered his eyes, shame reddening his cheeks slightly; not a feeling to which he was accustomed.
�There was a book, blue bound, on your shelf. I picked it up entirely by accident. I did not realise what it was until I began to read. By then, it was too late and I could not put it down. I know I should have, but it told me so much of what you had been through. It helped me to understand you a little better. I so wanted to understand you, and what I did to you. I am sorry not for reading it, but for the pain I caused you; for the pain you went through before I found you; for the pain you went through on your own these last two years.�
�You read my feelings book. But I�ve written everything in that book. It was mine. Mine. Private. Secret. You did bad.�
�I know. As I told you, I did not mean to, and I am not sorry I did; only for what has happened to you that you needed to write it in the first place. I want to help make things right for you Sky. Please understand that. I did not read it to hurt you. I read it so I could understand you better, help you find what you have lost. I cannot undo what I have done. But I can help you to move forward, if you will let me.�
Sky was certain he was being honest with her. She would have felt it if her wasn�t. Closing the connection she nodded her head.
�Yes.�
�Yes what?� He wanted to know, unsure of what she was agreeing to now.
�Yes, I want you to help me move forward. Yes, I want us to be family. Yes, I want to be with you always.� She took a deep breath and let it out.
�And yes, I want you to be there when I � if I cry.�
Severus stared at her. He was overwhelmed that she was accepting him. That she was agreeing to be his.
�But.� Sky put in.
�Anything.� Severus told her softly. �Anything so long as you will be mine.�
�Only if I can be the same for you as you are for me, Severus. I want to share your life as much as you share mine. The bad as well as the good. I need to give as much as I take. We must be equal.�
�Equal? How can we be equal. I am the man. The man is always ruler in his own home, the dominant one in a relationship. We cannot be equal.�
�Then we cannot be together.�
Severus was thrown for a loop. What was he supposed to say to that? He could not submit to her. He did not want to lose her either, not when he just got her, but he took orders enough from the Dark Lord and Dumbledore, he would not, could not take orders from anyone else.
�You leave me no choice but to accept your terms.� He told her. �But I cannot help my nature, Sky. I do not like to be told what to do, by anyone.�

�I don�t want to tell you what to do, Severus. I just want to give you the same as you give me. I want to have a say in any decisions we make. Is that so bad?�
Severus thought about what she asked him. �Maybe it would not be too bad. Sharing decisions.�
�I would not be happy if you were to undermine my authority in front of my associates. Also, my wisdom is greater then yours in many things. I would expect you to take heed when I tell you something is so.�

�I understand that. Rowena and me, we talked a lot about relationships. I don�t want to make you feel less of a man then you are Severus. I couldn�t. I just don�t want to be pushed around. I�ve had more then my fair share of that.�
�Rowena Ravenclaw has a lot to answer for in my opinion.� He thought.

�I understand that Sky. I do not intend to push you around. We shall try it your way. But if it does not work, we go back to the tried and tested. My way. I also have a reputation to uphold. At school I am not known to be a very pleasant person. I would prefer to keep that reputation. Anything to do with the school, the students or the staff, what I say goes. Likewise the Dark Lord, I know him better then most. I expect you to bow to my judgement concerning him. Is that understood?�
� I suppose so. More or less.�
�More or less is not good enough.�

�Well it�s going to have to be. But I promise if I disagree with you about something, I wont say anything until we�re on our own. Is that okay?�
Severus narrowed his eyes. It would have to do for now. He did not want to scare her off.
�Very well. For now. And if you have a problem with anyone at the school, you come and see me first. So it is settled then. Tomorrow you are to move into my rooms. I shall inform Albus in the morning and have the elf�s prepare extra accommodation for us. We shall need the extra space now that both of us will be living there.�

Sky couldn�t help the little smile of victory from appearing on her lips. It had been difficult for him to concede to her demands. But they seemed to have reached a compromise and Sky was happy with that.
Severus too smirked a little. He knew she thought he gave in to her demands. Eventually she would realise that he was the wisest in this relationship and bow to his wishes.
�You know we really should do something special to �ah �seal our agreement.� Severus suggested.
�We should. What do you suggest oh lord and master.� She asked sarcastically.
�Impertinent little chit.� He growled as he flipped her onto her stomach and pounced on top of her. �I will show you how much of a lord and master I can be.
And he did show her, several times in fact, not once did she dispute his superiority that night.
