A/N: Sorry for the long wait I just made a big move up to MI and now I finally have internet and I've rewritten this chapter about six times before I've finally got it right. This is finally the moment between Riley and Hermione I know a lot of you have been waiting for. Enjoy!

Riley and Hermione went back into the castle to enjoy the rest of the dance with their friends. It was still a little early which is good because now they can hang out with their friends. it was at the point in the night where the girls were all talking in a group and the boys and Riley were in their group by the punch bowl.

"So I see the ring she gave you for your birthday," Harry said looking at Riley's left ring finger.

"Yea she seemed nervous to give it to me,"

"I helped picked it out give her a guy's opinion,"

Riley nodded, "Since I am one of the guys," she said and they all laughed.

"So is tonight the night?" Ron asked.

Again Riley nodded, "Yeah I have it all planned out. Dobby is setting up the room as we speak, candle light, rose petals, music."

"Wow you're a pussy," Draco said and again every one laughed.

Meanwhile at the table with the girls they were also talking about tonight.

"So are you nervous?" Ginny asked and Hermione shrugged.

"Part of me is and the other part isn't I mean I know it's my first time with a girl but I know I'm in good hands," she said as she looked over at Riley with the boys and her band and they were laughing at something some one said. Then she looked back to her friends, "She gave this bracelet when we were outside," she said showing them.

"Oh wow that's beautiful," Susan said smiling.

"She's so amazing now why can't our boyfriends be more like your girlfriend," Ginny said.

Hermione shrugged and looked again over at Riley and this time Riley looked at her and smiled. Hermione blushed and smiled bigger. She couldn't help it Riley did something to her and gives her butterflies and makes her heart pound and she couldn't be more happy than she is right now. Tonight is the night she will fully give herself to Riley and she knew it will bring her closer to her.

Riley smiled as she looked at Hermione and she felt her heart fly. She never thought this girl could bring her out of her dry spell of depression and she did from the moment she saw her on the train she knew she wanted to be with this girl. Tonight she was going to make her feel special and take her time with her and if she says the word she will stop. They've talked about this and they decided tonight will be the night. Just the two of them and nothing will come in between them.

The night wore on and it was the final song of the night. It was "I'll Be" by Edwin Mccain. Riley walked over to Hermione and held out her hand and Hermione gladly took it and she led her girlfriend to the dance floor and held her close and they danced slowly to the song. Every one followed their lead and started to slowly dance with the person they came with. Riley started to softly sing the song to her and Hermione looked up at her and smiled, "You love music," she said. Riley nodded, "It's saved me a few times,"

"I don't know what I did to deserve you," Riley added. Hermione just smiled and kissed her softly. Before they knew it the dance was over and the lights came on. Every one started to slowly leave the Great Hall and they all said they're byes and good nights. Hermione and Riley were still holding each other as they walked up to their dorms and said the portrait, they said the password and walked through and walked into Riley's room. Dobby really out did himself there was candles and rose petals and smooth music playing in the background. Hermione walked further into the room and was awestruck by the romantic setting. Riley was leaning against the door and just watched her and she couldn't help but smile. To make sure they wouldn't be interrupted she put a locking charm and silencing charm on the door and room.

Riley walked up behind Hermione and took her in her arms and Hermione turned around and put her arms around her neck and with out any words they just kissed softly at first. Riley wanted to take it slow and to make sure she was comfortable. She started to kiss Hermione's neck and slowly started to unzip her dress just as Hermione was unbuttoning her shirt. When their first articles of clothing were taken off and tossed blindly to the floor Riley picked Hermione up and gently laid her down on the bed. She kissed her again only this time there was more passion as their tongues battled and Riley started to undo Hermione's bra. In one swift movement the bra was off Hermione gave a sigh of surprise and Riley just smiled and started to kiss her again. Then she started to make her way down her chest slowly, she stopped at the top of her underwear and looked up at her as if to give permission and Hermione smiled and nodded.

Riley took her hands on either side of her underwear and ever so slowly started to take them off. Once they were off Riley tossed them blindly to the floor and took her time kissing and caressing her legs until she came up to her prize. She took in a moment to breath in her scent but it was to soon for that. She crawled back up to Hermione and she kissed her as she gently started to place her finger in between her legs and started to slowly rub her clit. Hermione arched a little bit and moaned into the kiss and pulled Riley closer to her. Riley's rhythm went a little faster and slowly started to go down and one finger entered Hermione. This took her by surprise and she moaned louder as Riley was slipping in and out of her she added another finger and this broke the kiss between them making Hermione moan a little louder. The pace Riley set started to grow and Hermione was meeting her fingers in time and then Riley took her thumb and started to rub her clit in time with her pace.

She could tell Hermione was getting close and she started to kiss her way back down until she reached her destination in between her legs. She replaced her hand with her mouth and started to use her tongue on her clit and still using her fingers to go in and out of Hermione. She couldn't help but smile when she felt her hand pulling her hair and moaning her name and saying, "Oh my God," in moans that was driving Riley insane and made her go faster. Hermione's moans became louder as Riley picked up her pace. She could feel her tighten up and she arched off the bed and Riley made sue she captured every last drop.

Hermione relaxed and was out of breath as Riley came up to her and kissed her. Hermione could taste herself on Riley's tongue and didn't mind it, "Wow" she said when they broke the kiss. Riley, "I know, " she said smiling. Riley pulled her shirt from the floor and gave it to Hermione to sleep in. Hermione gladly accepted it and snuggled up to Riley. "That was amazing I've never felt like that before," she said with a yawn.

Riley smiled and kissed the top of her head, "It's a pretty good feeling," she said as she turned on the TV and pressed play to start whatever DVD was in the player. She took off the charms and with a wave of her hand the candles went out, "I love you," she whispered. She didn't hear a response because Hermione was fast asleep she just shook her head, "It always happens," she said smiling and a few minutes later she was fast asleep with the girl she loved in her arms.

Meanwhile Dumbledore was receiving word about Mitch's dad and that he was planning on attacking Hogwarts during the New Years Eve Ball. Thanks to Remus Lupin and his agents were keeping a close eye on him and they were keeping Dumbledore updated every day. Dumbledore didn't want to wake up Riley just this moment and would tell her first thing in the morning to be prepared and that her training needs to be picked up again. So that she can be ready in case the worst is to happen.
