Future plans
When they came back to the kitchen Severus hurried to Harry´s site. Harry looked pale but when he saw him, he smiled softly.
“Are you ok? How are you feeling?” Severus asked.
“Yes, I´m fine, I feel good actually. It´s like someone build a library in my head and I can access any information I need. I think I know how Hermione feels now.” He said and grinned at her.
“That´s nice, but you know that now the hard work begins. We have to start training you up. We also need to discuss what our next steps are.” Hermione said.
“You´re right, we have to start training asap. Regarding the next steps I think one of our first tasks is to recruit Malfoy. We need someone within Slytherin not only so he can listen around for any news regarding Riddle but also so he can find out which Slytherins don´t want to follow him. He would be in the best position to persuade them to join us.” He looked at them and his eyes lingered on Ginny for a few seconds. She gave him a small smile.
“I think that is a solid plan, Harry.” Snape said and hugged him from behind and Harry snuggled into him. Hermione spoke next.
“I think we should have someone like Draco in every house and I think we have two already. Luna and Neville would be perfect for Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff is a little tricky. We aren´t close to anyone in that house. We also need a way to make sure no one gets word of our organization until we want it so. I thought we could handle it like we did back in the DA let everyone who joins sighn a piece of parchment.”
“Right because last time we did it went so well.” Ron said.
“Ron, back then we were kids, and it only was to learn defence. This time we are building an army. We will make sure no one is able to talk. Maybe we could find a spell that is like the fidelius charm or we could curse it so anyone who is about to betray us by spilling the beans will lose his voice so he cannot. We will figure something out, but we must be careful. We simply can´t risk leaks this time, to much is at stake here.”
“Mione is right. We will also need someone outside of Hogwarts who will look for allies. I think Fred and George would be perfect. I know for a fact that they will be on our site. No one knows this but I was the one who gave them the money to start their shop. I gave them the prize from the Triwizard tournament, and I actually thought about investing more and look what else these two come up with. Their inventions could be most useful like the Peruvian instant darkness powder. Maybe you could help them with some of their stuff Severus? I know they are good at potions, but you are much better.” Harry said.
“Sure, I will contact them as soon as you have spoken to them.”
“I want to discuss something else, but I will have to speak with Ginny for a minute.” Ginny looked at him.
“Alright let’s go to the living room.” They stood and left.
“What do you think is that about?” Ron asked. Snape who had an idea just shrugged and took a sip of his tea.

“What did you want to talk about Harry?” Ginny asked after they sat down in front of the fire.
“Draco.” Harry said no more and just looked at her.
“You want me to tell them don´t you?” she asked.
“Yes, I do. I know you´re afraid that Ron will blow up, but you know how he is, he comes around every time. It would be best if they know before we bring him in. Ron knows that YOU are a good reason to change sites and it will be easier for him to accept Draco. They would be much less distrust in general.”
“I see your point. I just don´t want him to get mad. Don´t get me wrong I could take him anytime but I just don´t want to fight.”
“I know but you won’t be alone. I will talk sense into him. I also want you and Severus to talk to Draco together before I talk to him. I trust you two and if you both tell me he is sincere I will trust your judgement. Tell him about us. Tell him all that comes with it but don´t go into detail about Dumbledore. Just tell him that we have reason to doubt his leadership. Leave out that I am the heir to Hogwarts and house Black. I will tell him but only after Hermione figures out a way to guarantee secrecy.” Ginny nodded.
“You ready to do this?” He asked. Ginny went a little pale, but she confirmed and they went back to the others. Ron looked up from his plate when they walked in.
“You´re back. Out with it, what did you want to discuss?” Harry looked at Ginny who swallowed and sat down at the table.
“I need to tell you something, but please promise me you won´t freak out when I do.” She looked at her brother.
“Promise.” Ron said a curious look in his eyes.
“I´ve been in a relationship for almost a year now. I didn´t tell you or mum or dad, anyone really.”
“Why not?”
“Because it´s… it´s Draco and before you start yelling Ron, no I haven´t lost my mind, yes he treats my right, no I´m not crazy and yes I am very happy.” She looked at her brother anxiously. Whilst she talked Ron´s impression went from shock to disgust to disbelieve before it settled on rage. His face went as red as his hair and Harry thought he better say something before Ron did or say something that Ginny would never forgive him.
“Ron, please take a few deep breaths before you explode. I know that must come as a shock but try to think before you speak.” Ron glared at him and Harry pressed his face in Snape´s chest to hide from the glares Ron fired at him. Severus looked amused and Hermione just looked at Ginny curiously.
“Ginny, please tell me that you´re joking. You can´t be with him. He is a Malfoy. Our families hated each other for generations. Please tell me you’re not serious.” He looked at her pleadingly.
“I´m sorry Ron I can´t do that.” She looked at him.
Three, two, one, Harry counted down in his head.
“HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND? If dad hears about this, I swear… You will break up with him as soon as we get out of this chamber! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!! My sister will not date a death eater, I will not have it. I will sooner…” But Harry interrupted him.
“Careful Ron, you remember me telling you this site will be the site of tolerance and acceptance? I will not allow Malfoy to go around and call other´s names and the same rule goes for you. Malfoy is not a death eater. He does not bear the dark mark and you should be very careful how you go from here. I doubt you will lose your sister, right?” Ron nodded.
“Good then I would recommend you talk with her in a respectful manner and not to talk down to her like she´s eight years old. I for one think it is a good thing. It certainly clears up his intentions to why he is switching sites and if Ginny is happy with him and he treats her good then I think it is none of your business who she goes out with.” Harry looked at Ron, waiting for the explosion but it never came.
“I know… I know he´s not a death eater and I know Ginny is not eight anymore.” He looked at her.
“I´m sorry I didn´t mean to lose my temper, it´s just there is a lot of bad blood between him and me and I will need some time to get used to the fact that he is not bad.” She nodded accepting his apology.
“I´m happy for you Gin!” Hermione said with a big smile. “If you are happy then so am I”
“Thanks, Mione. Severus? Harry asked that we speak with Draco together before he meets with him.”
“I think that is a good idea. He came to me to ask for help, but you are the person he trusts most I assume. Together we will convince him that Harry is the only one worthy pledging to.”
“Good, now that that is clear I think we should do some homework. We only have a few hours left and I think we should be done before we leave. We can always discuss things further when we´re back in the dungeons.” Hermione said and Harry laughed. He was happy that at least one thing would never change. Hermione would always breath down his beck and force him to do what must be done and to do his best. It was a very comforting feeling.
“Yes mum…” He joked. “You go and start I will show Severus to Salazar´s portrait and will join you after.” She nodded and Harry´s friends left for their rooms to get their schoolwork. Harry gave Severus a quick kiss before standing up and holding out his hand.
“You ready to meet the founder of your house?” Severus grinned and took his hand.
“I am. Show the way,” and together they left the kitchen to see Salazar.

That evening after they left the chamber, they sat down in the trunk in Severus´s office.
“I have a few other things we need to discuss. For one Ron, I want you to write to Fred and George tomorrow. I want to find a property for our new headquarters, and I thought it would be good if we meet them there on Sunday to fill them in on everything. That reminds me we need a name for us. Any ideas?” He looked around after a few minutes Hermione spoke.
“I got it.” She looked at them.
“Well tell us!!” Ginny said excited.
“We stick to DA.” Harry glared at her.
“No absolutely not. No way, I will not fight under Dumbledores name.” Hermione grinned at him.
“You won’t have to. We call it DA only for the headmaster’s benefit. He will think it is Dumbledores army, and he will think we train to fight under him, but we change the first word in Diggory´s.” Harry looked at her with wide eyes before a wide smiled grazed his face.
“Diggory´s army, brilliant as always Mione, this is great. It all started up again after wormtail killed him. We will fight in his honour.”
“It´s perfect.” Ginny agreed.
“Harry maybe you should go to Dumbledore to ask his permission to pick up the DA meetings again. If you go to him and ask, he will believe that you still value his opinion, plus it must be a massive boost for his ego to have an actual army named after him. He will be happy to allow it and he wouldn´t become so suspicious when he doesn´t see us around much since he will be convinced, we are at the meetings.” Ron suggested.
“That is an excellent idea, Ron.” Severus said.
“Harry you could plead with him by saying he could assign a teacher to be present at the meetings to overlook everything. I bet you all I have that he will volunteer me. If he would see us together, he would think it´s about the DA, which it is but not the one he thinks.” He said with an evil smile.
“That’s settled then. Hermione, I want you to figure out what we do with the list. Maybe it should be in the form of a contract. We will wright down the rules on the top so they can see what they get themselves into and only when they sign will they find out who else is involved so that when they change their minds, we will not risk exposing existing members. That brings me to point too. I will offer protection to everyone who asks for it. I will force no one to fight for me. If they want to stay neutral in this war, then they can. I doubt many will choose to stay out of it entirely because everyone has loved ones, they want to protect but if they want to stay out of it, they can. I will offer the biggest property I have to them to stay at. It´s a castle in Ireland, that should fit a few hundred people. All they have to do is sign a contract promising not to fight for another site and to keep anything they know about us to themselves.”
“You are such a good man Harry.” Hermione said and looked at him proudly.
“Thanks. Severus tell me who do you think amongst the staff would be changing to our site if they new the truth?” He asked.
“McGonagall, Flitwick and Sprout I am not sure about the others. I also strongly recommend you speak with Madam Pomphrey Harry. She always had a soft spot for you. I know she can be quite overprotective at times and it´s annoying but she is one of the most intuitive medi witches in the country. She is very good, and she would be most useful.”
“Severus is right. A witch with of her talents doesn´t come a long often. You should absolutely talk to her.” Hermione agreed.
“Good I have one last thing for now but let’s talk about it tomorrow. I need some rest. I think we all do.”
“I guess that’s a good idea. Let us turn in.” Ron, Hermione and Ginny said their good nights and went to their rooms. Severus stood and pulled Harry into a tight embrace.
“Your friend is right you know. You are a good man Harry Potter. Don´t ever ignore your moral compass and you will change this world for the better.”
“I will try my best. I promise but I will need your help to do that.” Snape lifted one hand to cub his cheek.
“I will be by your site. What is the other thing you want to discuss?” He asked, Harry leaned into his touch and answered.
“I want to search Dumbledore´s office and we need to find a way to get him out of the castle but let us brainstorm ideas tomorrow. I´m to tired to think about this. I will have to search my brain and find out how to share the gifts too. I don´t know how these things work. Can I give all the gifts to all of you?”
“I don´t think so. Not all wizards have what it takes to use elemental magic and not everyone has an Animagus form but the others you should be able to. Except maybe parseltounge but there is no way of knowing since it´s so rare that there is not much known about it. Don´t worry we will figure it out.” Harry snuggled closer.
“Thank you.” Harry said.
“For what?”
“For always knowing what to say.” He gave him a smile and yawned.
“Let´s get you into bed.”
“Can you stay, or do you need to be in your office in case a student comes and must see you?”
“I should stay in my quarters. We could put the trunk in my bedroom, and you could stay with me. I wake you should someone need to see me if you want.” Harry gave him a kiss and smiled.
“Go move the trunk I change and come up when I am done.” Ten minutes later Harry climbed out of the trunk and in Severus´s bed. He snuggled into Severus´s arms and sighed.
I could get used to this, he thought. Severus gave him a good night kiss, and both fell asleep a short time later.
