Author’s note: Years late, sorry. Hopefully, I can finish this story before the New Year, but updates and chapter lengths will be sporadic. I happen to like the French people.
Hogsmeade Part 2: Day before Halloween
Seated near the roaring fire, James Potter ruffled his hair in absolute frustration. “It’s alright mate,” Sirius tried to console, but was too aggravated to sound the least bit consoling. “We’ll get the cloak back, as well as that uppity French bitch!”
“Sirius,” Remus wearily replied in response to his vulgar presumptions.
“Remus has a point Sirius,” James said when he saw Sirius’ annoyed look at his chastisement, “I don’t think she’s actually French.” Missing the entire reason Remus was irritated in the first place.
A few days later, Hermione was enjoying the privileges the prefect’s bathroom afforded her; password courtesy Lucius, of course. Her languorous mood disappeared at the sound of a pop. Turning so quickly as to splash water onto the floor she saw the briefest of hints of a house elf disappearing with her clothes. Sighing in irritation, Hermione went in search of a towel, but discovered that they were missing as well.
“Errh, Son of a B--lack!” Hermione exclaimed.
