Chapter 2: Diagon Alley
Chapter 2: Diagon Alley
A few seconds later Sarah and the Malfoy’s arrived in the leaky cauldron. Sarah looked around and saw that he parents were not here yet.
“Draco do you have your key?” Narcissa asked.
“Yes mother.” Draco nodded.
“Good boy. You two may go shopping now.”
“Thanks Sarah and Draco walked over to the brick wall. Sarah took out her wand and tapped the brick wall with it. The brick wall opened up to reveal Diagon Alley. Sarah looked around the marvelous place. She had loved Diagon Alley since the first time she stepped into it. All the shops and items interested her so much.
“Argh!” Draco growled as he stepped out of his parents view. Sarah jumped.
“What? What is it?” Sarah asked.
“I swear she treats me like a two year old child.” Draco growled.
“Draco.” Sarah laughed. “Don’t worry about it. She’s just showing you that she cares about you.”
“Yeah right.” Draco scoffed. “You would think that wouldn’t you?”
“Yes.” Sarah nodded. “Anyway lets go to Gringotts.” Sarah walked up to the Wizarding bank. “I love this place.” Sarah marveled.
“Huh?” Draco thought that this was the weirdest place on earth and didn’t look pleasing to him at all. “What ever.” Sarah walked into the bank and up to a goblin.
“How may I help you?” The goblin asked in a raspy grumpy tone.
“I’d like to withdraw some money from my vault.” Sarah replied.
“Do you have a key?”
“Yes.” Sarah took out her key from her pocket and gave it to the goblin. The goblin looked at the key and then gave it back to Sarah.
“Is that boy with you?” the goblin looked down at Draco from over the rim of his glasses.
“Yes.” Sarah nodded.
“Key?” the goblin put out his long grubby fingers. Draco handed the goblin his key. “SCRUL!” The goblin called.
“Yes.” A small podgy goblin waddled up to the other goblin.
“Take Mr. Malfoy and Miss… Harrison up to their volts.”
“Yes sir.” The goblin nodded. The goblin sitting at the stand gave Draco back his key.
“Thanks.” Sarah walked away and followed the small goblin.

Sarah and Draco sat in the Ice cream parlor finishing off their ice creams.
“Draco?”
“Yeah.”
“What’s with your father?”ah aah asked.
“What do you mean? Don’t you like him?” Draco slightly panicked.
“No I like him, I’ve just noticed that he’s a little rude to people.”
“Oh, that’s just him. He thinks that everyone is inferior.”
“I must say that you are a little like your father.” Sarah looked away from Draco.
“When” Draco looked offended. Being his father was one thing Draco did not want. He knew what his father was like and what he did, Draco experienced half of Lucius’ wrongdoings and he didn’t wantbe dbe doing them himself.
“Draco don’t deny it. You know yourself that you are a little like your father. Remember when you thought I was trash because I was a muggle born? You father is the same.”
“Alright I’m not denying that and I’m sorry about that, but I don’t like muggle borns.”
“Right.” Sarah finished up her last bit of ice cream. “Do you think we should get going now?”
“Yeah.” Draco finished off his ice cream too.
“It’s going to be exciting going back to Hogwarts.” Sarah said as she walked out of the parlor with her supplies.
“I don’t know how you could want to go back there after what happened.” Draco held a bit of an angry tone.
“It’s going to be different this year. Samara is in Azkaban and Anthony is dead.”
“Still if I was you I would never go near Hogwarts.”
“Then you do not know me that well. I’m a strong girl Draco, I do stand up for my rights.”
“Ok.” Draco sighed. As Sarah and Draco walked over to the leaky cauldron Sarah saw a tall boy with red hair she knew as Ron Weasley walking with an other tall boy with black hair and glasses, Sarah knew him as Harry Potter, and a girl with wild curly brown hair carrying a pile of books called Hermione. When Draco looked over to the trio he snarled. Suddenly Hermione tripped over a lose brick in the ground and fell over. Draco burst out in to loud bouts of laughter.
“Draco! Don’t you laugh.” Sarah snapped. She dropped her bags and ran up to the girl to help her. Sarah bent down and pulled the Hermione up.
“Thanks.” Hermione blushed. Ron and Harry looked up at the girl as the picked up the books.
“No problem.” Sarah smiled. “Are you ok?” Ron and Harry stood up leaving the pile of books on the ground.
“Oh yeah. I’m fine. Only suffering from embarrassment.” Hermione assured. Sarah chuckled. Ron and Harry looked at the girl in awe. Sarah had no idea why. “Oh, I’m Hermione Granger and this is-”
“I know who you all are. You three are the most well known people in the whole of Hogwarts. You Hermione well know for your brains, good marks and capability of pissing Snape off buy putting up your hand.” Hermione blushed. Ron and Harry laughed. “Ron you’re known for your read hair, many siblings and stupidity.” Harry and Hermione laughed. “And you Harry for your constant rule breaking, bravery, your scar and the reason you earned it.” Sarah winked at Harry. Harry smiled. “It’s nice to actually meet you guys.” Sarah put out her hand and shook their hands. “I’m Sarah Harrison.”
“We know.” Ron grinned stupidly.
“Ok.” Sarah chuckled. “I’ll see you guys around some time. I have to go I have someone waiting for me.” Sarah waved and walked away. Sarah knew about what happened with Harry last year as is also happened to her. He had lost Sirius and so had she and she was still mourning. Sirius was her uncle through marriage and she loved him so. He wasn’t a nutter like everyone had accused him of being. She knew him well, she saw what he went through. He only put on his crazy act when the ministry was around him. Sarah walked over to Draco.
“You took your time. Why were you talking to them?”
“We had a chat that’s all. They are nice. I can’t believe you laughed at Hermione when she fell over, that’s really disappointing coming from you Draco.” Sarah scowled.
“Well I’m sorry.” Draco said with a sarcastic tone.
“Draco!” Sarah greased him off and walked away.

Ron and Harry stood there staring at Sarah as she walked away from them and towards Draco.
“She’s so pretty.” Ron drooled.
“Yeah.” Harry agreed. Hermione ignored them and just picked up her books.
“She’s is really nice.” Hermione added.
“Yep.” Ron and Harry said together.
“What’s a girl like her doing with Malfoy?” Harry asked. “He’ll hurt her.”
“I don’t know Harry, maybe he had changed.” Hermione suggested.
“Malfoy change? Never.” Ron snorted. “And by the way he was laughing at you I wouldn’t think that he had changed.” Hermione turned a bright red. Harry didn’t show any emotion, not wanting to make Hermione angry. “Do you think she’ll be interested in me?”
“Ron you have a one in a million chance to get anywhere near her.” Hermione retorted. Harry laughed. Ron frowned.
“What about me?” Harry asked. ‘
“Well you Harry are a different story. You have a chance.”
“Yes!” Harry hissed at Ron.
“Not fair!” Ron protested.
Sarah walked into the Leaky Cauldron. She saw her parents sitting with Draco’s parents at a table in a far corner. Sarah walked up to the table.
“Hello Everyone.” Sarah greeted happily.
“Oh hello dear.” Talia stood up and gave her daughter a hug. “I missed you.”
“I missed you to mother.” Sarah pulled away from her mother and walked over to her father. “Welcome back father.” Sarah hugged her father and kissed his cheek.
“Thank you sweetheart.” Thomas smiled. Sarah sat down at the table. “Hello Draco.” Thomas shook his hand.
“Hello Mr Harrison.” Draco shook his hand. “Mrs Harrison. Did you both have a good holiday?” Draco asked as he sat down next to his father.
“Yes it was good although most of it consisted of Thomas’ work.” Talia replied.
“Well I suppose that is good.” Draco didn’t know what to say.
“Yes. We must be going soon.” Thomas said.
“Why?” Sarah whined.
“We have a meeting in a few hours.”
“Ok.” Sarah sighed.
“Would you like to come home with us tonight Sarah?” Talia asked.
“As much as I’d love to go home I think it would be better if I stayed with the Malfoy’s tonight. All my things are at their house.” Sarah reasoned.
“Fair enough.” Talia agreed.
“But tomorrow before I leave for Hogwarts we can have a little chat.” Sarah suggested.
“Oh yes absolutely.” Talia nodded.
“Good.” Sarah smiled.
“I’m sorry to say but we should be going now.” Thomas interrupted.
“Oh.” Sarah frowned.
“Sorry sweetheart. We will see you tomorrow like you said.” Thomas stood up.
“Ok.”
“It was nice seeing you again.” Talia stood up. Lucius, Draco and
Narcissa stood up to say good bye.
“Yes it was delightful.” Lucius put out his hand and shook Thomas’. They all said good bye. Thomas and Talia kissed their daughters forehead and walked out of the Leaky Cauldron.
“You don’t mind me saying one more night do you?” Sarah asked.
“Absolutely not. It’s our pleasure.” Lucius replied.
“Thank you.” Sarah smiled. Lucius leaned over and whispered in Narcissa’s ear.
“Excuse me I must be going. I shall be back soon.” Lucius stood up from the table and walked over to the brick wall. Sarah leaned over to Draco.
“Where is your father going?” Sarah asked.
“I don’t know.” Draco shrugged. “Knockturn Alley I suppose.”
“What does your father want with dark magic?” Sarah asked curiously. Draco mentally slapped himself.
“Ah…well… he does work with the ministry.”
“Right.” Sarah didn’t know what Lucius was doing but she did feel weird about it.

20 minutes later Lucius came back in to the Leaky Cauldron.
“We may go.” He announced.
“Good.” Narcissa said with rangrangely high tone. Draco and Sarah stood up holding all of their supplies. Lucius took out the portkey and the all disappeared with a pop.
They popped back at the manor. Sarah was still a little disappointed with Draco from before. Sarah and her supplies walked up to her room. She closed the door behind her and dropped her supplies on the floor. She then beganpackpack everything in to her trunk.

Draco was downstairs with his parents eating lunch. He had wondered why Sarah wasn’t eating with them. He was afraid that Sarah was so angry with him that she didn’t want to come down.
“Draco do you know where Sarah is?” Narcissa asked.
“N-no.” Draco shook his head.
“Would you go and ask her if she would come down?” Lucius ordered. “That’s if she wants to of course.”

But he’s father annoyed him since he really knew what his father was really like. Draco was a little scared about talking to Sarah. She did have a bit of a temper and he was too scared to fiddle with it. He walked up to her room and knocked on the door 3 times. “Sarah?”
“Yeah come in.” Sarah said absentmindedly. Draco opened the door and saw Sarah packing her stuff in to her trunk neatly.
“Um, I’m sorry.” Draco apologized.
“For what?” Sarah looked up at him.
“You know, for laughing. I can’t help it, it’s just that I don’t get along with those three.”
“It’s ok. I’m not the one you should be apologizing to.” Sarah continued packing. “I don’t know why you don’t like them, they are really nice.”
“Ah… whatever.” Draco kissed Sarah’s cheek.
“Don’t you have any packing to do?”
“My house elf’s doing it.” Draco whispered softly.
“What did you say?”
“My house elf’s doing it.” Draco said a little louder.
“You have house elf’s?”
“Yeah.” Draco nodded.
“I never saw one.”
“They hide.”
“Oh right.”
“So are you going to come down for lunch?”
“Nah I’m not hungry.” Sarah shook her head.
“Oh alright.”
“You can go back if you like.”
“Nah I don’t really want to sit alone with my parents.”
