Chapter Two: Malfoy�s
Evil Plan


Lucius Malfoy watched her as she walked to her house table. Her long
black hair sparkled as she tugged the red ribbon out of her hair. It
cascaded down her back and swung around her hips. He could tell by her
walk that something was bothering her. Looking up the table he found the
Marauders, one of which, was glaring at her. �Black, I don�t know what your
problem is, but stay away from Turner.�


Feeling someone�s eyes on her, Jessica looked over at the Slytherin table to
find Lucius Malfoy staring at her. �Pleeasse� Get a life, jerk.� She didn�t
understand why Malfoy was looking at her in the first place. �Wait�It�s the
same look Remus gives me sometimes. E-wwwww!�


�E-www, what, Turner?� James� voice came from behind her. He sounded
angry and Jessica had a good idea why.

She really didn�t want to face a ticked Potter
if Harry was any example of what a mad Potter could do.


Jessica just wanted to ignore him, but she figured it would make him worse so
she turned tce hce him. �Malfoy is e-ww, Potter. He keeps staring at
me.� James� eyes flicked over to where Malfoy was sitting and then turned
back to her a dark look in his hazel eyes.


� You two would probably make a good couple,� James said with venom catching
Jessica off guard. She glared in reply as he started to walk away from
her.


�How dare you!� She hissed giving him a deadly look making him turn back toward
her. He looked like he was close to cursing her. It seemed to make
him take a step back when he saw tears in her eyes. He sneered at her.


�You have no reason to cry, Turner.� His hazel eyes had become cold as ice.


�I have plenty to cry about, Potter. You have no idea about what�s going
through my mind. I may like Remus-� Jessica immediately shut up after
realizing what she had said. James stared at her for a moment letting her
words sink in and then a grin spread a crossed his face. �I shouldn�t have said
that I�I�I�


James put his right hand on her shoulder still smiling at her making her gulp
in surprise. �What are you afraid of Jessica?�


The question caught her so off guard she wasn�t sure how to response and with
each passing second James� grin grew wider if that was even possible. She
looked at him like she had been doing something she should have never
done. Still grinning like a maniac he went back to the other
Marauders. �Great. Why does life have to be so confusing? And
what do I do now?�

Remus, Sirius, and Peter watched as James came from a heated talk with Jessica
a grin across his gorgeous features. �What did she have to say, Prongs?�
Sirius asked the moment he sat down.


�Good news, Moony, old boy. She does like you, but she�s just to shy to
say it.� James sat back to watch Remus� face as the news hit him.
For the first time since the full moon his face broke into a grin, an honest
grin.


�How did you to get that out of her?� Peter asked, glad to see his friend
finally happy.


�Actually I think she let it slip by accident because she looked upset at
herself. I don�t know why, but she seemed to clam up after she said it.�
James now had a confused look on his face.


�Maybe she is scared about her own feelings toward Moony and needs a little push,�
Sirius raised an eyebrow at James with a wicked grin. James getting the
idea also started grinning back at Sirius with crazy things to get Jessica and
Remus together.


Remus� voice cut through their thoughts. �Don�t even think about trying to play
match maker you two. Let the rest to me. I think I can handle this
better than you.� James and Sirius nodded even though they didn�t look
too happy about the idea of not helping thfriefriend.


Smacking Sirius, James exclaimed, �I just remembered something Jess told me.�


Sirius grumbled, �You�re sussope to hit yourself not me.� But no one was paying
attention to him.


�Malfoy�s after her, Remus. He could be major trouble especially if he
goes after her.� Remus� eyes turned dark and none of them had to ask what
that meant. The four boys watched as Jessica stood up to go back up to
the tower and saw Malfoy also standing up. �What�s that git up to?� James
wondered aloud.

She was so lost in her own thoughts to realize she was being followed by
someone and didn�t know until the person had already grabbed her. �Let
go!� She screamed trying to break free dropping her wand in the process.
The person only grinned and turned her around to face him.


�I wouldn�t do thatrnerrner. And anyway, no one can even hear you.
I can protect you from those stupid Marauders because I can see you are not on
such good terms with them. All you have to do is become my girl.
That�s all I want in return.� Malfoy�s eyes gleamed at her and the
possibilities.


Her blood ran cold. There was no way out of this one�
