A quick thanks to all who reviewed ‘Like We Never Loved At All’. Thrnbrooke, you can really
blow a girls plot clear out of the water. I had forgotten that Harry could fight off the Imperious.
Thanks for the reminder. Hope the new plot still works! I want to apologize for this taker longer
than planned but I had to come up with an all new plot. *grins sheepishly* Sorry. Hope everyone
had a good Christmas or whatever Holiday you celebrate.

Ginny Weasley was getting desperate. All of the hard work she had done over the last year and a
half was slowly starting to unravel in front of her eyes. She had worked long and hard on the potion
that she was using to control Harry Potter, now her husband. He was supposed to be with her from
the beginning but instead had chosen the bastard, Draco Malfoy. Now everything was beginning to
fall to pieces, now when she nearly had it all.
She had the perfect token husband, thanks to her new invention, and a child on the way. Of course
the child wasn’t Harry’s, but no one needed to know that. She had managed to get the potion to do
everything she had wanted except for one thing. No matter what she tried, Harry would not have sex
with her. In fact, the harder she tried, the more Harry seemed to fight the potion. He had almost
completely beaten it now and she couldn’t make it any stronger without risking his mind. She knew
that was one thing she could not do because people were bound to notice something like that with
the Boy-Who-Lived.
The potion was sort of a liquid Imperious that used Veela blood as the catalyst. But as Harry could
throw off the Imperious she had counted quite a bit on the Veela blood to do what an actual Veela
could as far as enchanting the target. He had to be dosed with it at least once a day. And as most
things go, he was starting to become immune to the Veela charms. It had really began the day they
had seen Malfoy a little over six months ago.
She cursed herself now for pointing him out to Harry but had thought that they could have a laugh at
his expense. The potion was also supposed to keep Harry from remembering any feelings he had for
the ferret but had started failing that day. The day they got married she’d had to give Harry an extra
dose of the potion just to get him to go through with it. That was the only reason he had seemed
happy that day. He had ended up high off the potion. The day she had announced her pregnancy to
the press she’d kept him away from everyone for fear that he would blurt out the truth. She knew it
would only be a matter of time before he left to go back to Malfoy. What she didn’t know was that
he was already setting plans in motion.

Draco was sitting feeding his daughter, Angelique, when a painfully familiar owl flew in the
window. It was a beautiful snowy owl. He only knew of one person that had an owl like that. It
couldn’t possibly be from the man he loved though, could it? He reached out with shaking hands to
remove the letter the owl carried. Once the letter had been removed the owl perched on the back of
Angelique’s chair and began to nuzzle her head like she had done so many times to her master. That
was when Draco knew for a fact that it was Harry’s owl, Hedwig. He wasn’t sure now if he wanted
to read the letter in his hand.
His hands shaking even more now that he knew who the note was from, Draco began to open it. He
dropped it a few times before managing to get it open. He gasped when he saw the greeting.
My Dearest Darling Draco,
I know what you must be thinking right now. You think I willing left you and want nothing to do
with you. I want you to know that is the farthest thing from the truth right now. It was not my
choice to leave that night. I had invited one of the few people in my life I thought I could trust
over to the house to share our wonderful news. The next thing I really remember is seeing you at
that café a months ago.
I have done some investigating and discovered that I have been dosed with a potion for the last
year. I know what your thinking. Why should you believe anything I have to say. The proof of
my love for you is most likely sitting across from you playing with Hedwig. You know we could
not have had a child had we not truly loved each other. Why would I walk out on something like
that? I wanted to let you know that I am trying to work things out so that I can come back to you
and our child. I only have a few months to go before I can walk out on this life no questions
asked.
All my love,
Harry
Draco raised a shaking hand to his face to wipe away the tears that had begun to fall. Harry still
loved him, that he understood. What he didn’t understand was why Harry just didn’t come back to
him right away. What could he possibly be doing that Draco had to wait to reunite his family?

Harry was happy that he had managed to get a letter out to Draco in one of his more lucid moments.
They were starting to become more frequent now that he was becoming more immune to the potion,
but he was still somewhat effected by it. He would play his part until the child that Ginny was
carrying was born and then he would expose her and everything she has done. He wanted her to be
put away but wanted to know who the true father of the child was before that happened. He wanted
the child to grow up in a loving home wether it be with him and Draco or the child’s true father.

Draco picked up the Daily Prophet and read the headline before again dropping the paper in shock.
It was finally all over and Harry could come home to him. He had told the press everything Ginny
had done to him over the last two years. She was set to go to trial for her crimes in a week’s time. It
turned out that Michael Corner was the father of Ginny’s little boy. However, he wanted nothing to
do with the child. Draco knew that Harry would bring the child into their home and he didn’t mind
in the least. He was startled out of his thoughts by a knock at the door. He quickly stood and
opened.
“Hello, Draco. May we come in?” Harry asked quietly. Draco quickly pulled him in the door and
then into his arms. “I would like you to meet our son Arthur James Malfoy-Potter. I’ve missed you,
love.” Harry said, trying to hold back tears.
“And I you, love. There is someone you should meet as well. Follow me and I will show you where
our son can sleep. Then you need to meet your daughter.”
“We had a little girl?” Harry asked in astonishment.
“Yes we did and here she is now,” Draco replied with a smile as Angelique came toddling around
the corner with the help of the house-elf Draco had hired after her birth. “Harry I would like you to
meet Angelique Lillian Malfoy-Potter. She was born on Halloween. Maybe now you will have
better memories to associate with that day.” Draco smiled softly as he was handed his new son so
Harry could kneel on the floor in front of their daughter. She seemed to realize who Harry was as
she went to him and allowed him to pick her up. Draco was just glad to have his family back in one
piece, even if he had gained a new son along the way.
