Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
******DISCLAIMER******All belongs to JK Rowling,
I’m just borrowing it a little.
If you’re not into the idea of one woman getting some sweet,
sweet lovin’ from two men (often at the same time) you probably should find
something else to read. I repeat from
the 1st chapter: there’s no slash here, just some good old-fashioned
“sharing and staring,” lol. It might
take a while for things to heat up, so please no flames about non-appearing
lemons…they will come (no pun intended) later on, b/c this is also a “romance,”
don’t it just make you sick.
This was written to conform to HBP, and I would like to give
a very big thank you to the wonderful Emmaline Granger for putting up with my
questions and for offering her (most valued) opinions of my endeavors.

It had started after graduation.
All the Hogwarts students were still in varying states of
disbelief, shock, and denial that one of their teachers (however unpopular)
would commit such a heinous crime, not to mention the fact that they would
never see their beloved Headmaster ever again.
After spending only the minimum amount of time at the Dursley’s, Harry
left for the Burrow for Bill and Fleur’s wedding and stayed for the remainder
of the holidays. Hermione received
special permission to stay there as well, and the trio spent much of their time
hypothesizing on where the remaining Horcuxes could be. They managed to locate and destroy them,
barely escaping the clutches of death on countless occasions…all that was left
for Harry to do would be to kill Voldemort, who showed no signs of coming out
of hiding after he had been “tipped off” to the Horcux matter.
They had been extremely lucky, and decided to return to
Hogwarts for their seventh and final year to continue their ambitions to become
Aurors, now more determined than ever to rid the world of Dark wizards. Professor Slughorn was still acting as
Slytherin Head of House as well as Potions teacher, though walking into the
dungeons still made the rest of the students nervous and upset despite the
obvious differences between Slughorn and Snape. Ron and Harry managed to scrape
the required N.E.W.T.’s, while Hermione aced every subject while ignoring the
grumbles of her friends and accepting the lauding of Professor McGonagall with
good grace.
Harry took news of the Horcruxes to the remaining members of
the Order of the Phoenix, telling them that it was because of this that
Dumbledore had died; if they had not returned to the Astronomy Tower with the
Headmaster in such a weak state, Dumbledore might have been able to stop Snape
from casting the Killing Curse at him. Rufus
Scrimgeour got wind of this and attempted to contact “The Boy Who Lived”
several more times ostensibly to get the young man to endorse the Ministry of
Magic’s methods, but he also cleared the way for the trio of friends to begin
Auror training. Somehow the news
regarding the destruction of the Horcruxes leaked out, and there was an instant
uproar among Voldemort’s followers and even more assassination attempts were
made on the three, who decided that it was best if they moved into Twelve
Grimmauld Place, where they buried themselves in books and lessons from the
resident Aurors while waiting for the training sessions to begin at the
Ministry.
It was on a regular, indescribably dull evening when it
happened.
A loud knock shattered the stillness, and the portraits
started up anew, howling and gibbering madly while Molly Weasley attempted to
wrestle the curtains over the portrait of Sirius Black’s mother. “Oh, for heaven’s sake, open the door will
you, Arthur?” she cried desperately, hauling on the drapery with all her
strength. Her husband approached the
door curiously and opened it – he stood and stared at the three cloaked and
hooded strangers on the doorstep, at a loss.
Who were these people, and how had they found their way to the warded
Order Headquarters? As he stood in
surprise, they began to file past him into the house uninvited.
“See here, you can’t just…!”
The tallest among them raised pale hands to lower his cowl
slightly, and Arthur trailed off in shock as anger mixed with hatred twisted
his usually affable features. Hermione,
Ron and Harry had been hanging over the balcony watching, and they now rushed
down the stairs gripping their wands tightly.
Whoever they were, if Arthur Weasley reacted like that, they shouldn’t
be allowed inside at all. Hermione had
seen one of the elegant pale hands, and a jolt had gone through her…she had
been dreaming of the owner of those hands ever since she had been fifteen.
The rest of the Order who were not on guard duty for
something or other assembled hastily as the three figures waited silently in
the living room, the light of the fire throwing strange shadows on their black
cloaks. When all were assembled, holding
their wands at the ready, Harry stepped forward. “Who are you, and how did you get here?” he
demanded.
A voice that had haunted his sleep for a year answered. “Still
without a shred of manners, I see, Potter.”
The other Order members froze as the tallest figure pushed back his cowl
to reveal the carven in ivory features of Severus Snape, his black hair long
and tangled. Beside him, the figure who was slightly shorter pushed back his hood and Lucius
Malfoy stared out at them arrogantly.
“Is this it? I thought you said there were more, Severus.”
In a flurry of activity, wands were leveled at them. “Why
are you here, murderer?” Harry
snarled, readying a nonverbal spell. His
former teacher cocked an eyebrow and waggled a finger at him reproachfully.
“Your attempts at Occlumency are deplorable, Potter. I can block any spell you choose to send at
me – don’t you recall what happened the last time you tried?”
Harry started forward angrily at this blatant mention of the
events directly following Dumbledore’s death.
The third cloaked figure stepped forward finally and placed a hand on
the ex-Potions Master’s shoulder. All
present thought that their capacity for surprise had been flattened, but they
were proved wrong when they heard the familiar voice. “Severus…let me speak to them.” Hermione felt dizzy as the man limped forward
and lowered his hood. Ron, beginning to
sit down, missed his target and sprawled on the floor as Albus Dumbledore
looked around at them all. “Hello, everyone.”
Harry fainted.

Much later, the new arrivals were still surrounded by
incredulous Order members. They had spun
an unbelievable tale and were currently being watched closely to see if
Polyjuice Potion had anything to do with this miraculous turn of events. Dumbledore had explained that he had informed
Snape of the Horcruxes and that Harry must be the one to find, and destroy, the
remaining ones – as long as he, Dumbledore, was in the equation, Harry would
always look to him for guidance, never fully trusting in himself. On that fateful night, he had created a golem
to retrieve the false Horcrux and be “killed” by Severus Snape. Snape had created a particularly powerful
Draught of Living Death to send the real Headmaster to sleep and to be entombed
at the school.
Snape had also been working on the conversion of Lucius
Malfoy, who would be a powerful ally of the Light were he turned from
Voldemort’s camp. It was this that had led Malfoy to insist on none harming
Harry during the confrontation in the Hall of Mysteries. When the blonde wizard had been captured and
sent to Azkaban, Snape had imitated Barty Crouch’s plan and switched Lucius for
another, truly guilty Death Eater who was under the influence of the Imperius
Curse. Once freed, however, Malfoy Sr.
had discovered that Narcissa had left him for another wizard, and though his
son Draco had been overjoyed at his father’s freedom, he hadn’t wanted anything
to do with him. He and the ex-Hogwart’s
professor had been living together in a run-down house in Spinner’s End,
waiting for the right time to reveal their presence to the Order, all the while
continuing the ruse that they were faithful Death Eaters.
Hermione sat in one corner of the room clutching Crookshanks
and staring at the three wizards, jumping slightly as two looked over at
her. She was instantly transfixed by the
intense look Severus Snape was leveling at her, and she broke eye contact with
him only to wallow in the grey eyes of Lucius Malfoy. Blushing, she wrenched her eyes back down to
Crookshanks, not seeing the look the two wizards exchanged.
***
Severus surveyed his ex-pupil intently – gone was the bushy
hair and rather large front teeth that had seemed to define the annoying little
witch. Her hair was sleek and curling
about a face that had lost its baby fat…she was slightly taller than he
remembered, but it wasn’t as if he regularly paid any attention to students
beyond docking as many points as he could.
His eyes roamed over the rest of her body (what he could see of it)…it
had been a long time since he had release with a woman, and he wondered idly
how she would be in bed before he caught himself. It would be a cold day in hell before he so
much as came near someone as insufferable as she was. Severus slid his eyes over to Lucius, who was
also giving the young Gryffindor a considering look.
***
Lucius crossed his long legs languidly, returning the stares
directed at him – he had had just about enough of all this. It was clear no Polyjuice Potion had been
used, for Merlin’s sake! He glanced over
at the little Mudbl-well, he really shouldn’t think of her that way. His stint in Azkaban still haunted him, one
of the memories he was forced to relive endlessly was that of his torment of
non-purebloods. But old habits died
hard. It was a pity about her breeding, but there were contraceptive spells,
after all…she had certainly filled out nicely, and he had been long without the
attentions of a witch as comely as she.
He glanced over at Severus, who met his eyes with an amused look. Out of necessity, they hadn’t been able to
visit any houses of ill repute and he knew that his friend was suffering from
it just as much as he was…there were only so many times one could masturbate
before tiring of it and wanting the real thing.
***
Hermione’s face was still a delicate shade of pink as she
stared down at her ginger cat, who lashed his tail and
purred up at her adoringly. She fancied
she could still feel the two wizard’s eyes upon her…she risked a quick glance
over at them from beneath her lashes and sighed. She knew she should still be suspicious of
both of them, but here Dumbledore was, alive as he ever had been, and she was
quite willing to forgive any slights the two had ever given her. Damn the pair of them for being so…so…the
only word fit to describe them floated up treacherously – delectable.

A/N: Yes, I know that
by now, y’all are up in arms regarding the smallest Granger’s hair/eye color
and I can only tell you this – there is a reason for it that will be revealed
in time, my friends. Any suggestions
about the scenarios these three might find themselves in would be welcomed and
credited.
