Chapter 2
“Hey, who are you?” Radar asked as he saw the two strangers walk into camp and stop at the signpost. Severus looked at him and replied, “Hello, we’re looking for Colonel Sherman Potter, we’re with the United Nations Medical Group. I know that we are late but we had some problems that needed to be resolved. The jeep with all of our paperwork and equipment is now scrap metal and we have been walking for several miles.” Radar looked and motioned for them to follow him to the office.
“Colonel, there are some men here that are from the UN Medical Group; they wish to speak with you.” “Send them in Radar and…” “I know fix up the VIP tent for them” Radar finished for him. Colonel Potter motioned for Harry and Severus to sit and grabbed out his fine bourbon. “You boys are a bit late; the group was here just a few weeks ago. Anyway I’m Sherman Potter and welcome to the 4077.” “Thank you Sir, I’m Doctor Harry Potter and this is Severus Snape; He is a Pharmacist and Medic. I apologize for our tardiness but we had a few problems to sort out and then we just lost our jeep.” The Colonel sat back and looked at Harry and then Severus, “Well then let’s get you settled and then I’ll give you the nickel tour”. “Thank you Sir” said Severus as he stood up and started out the door.
Once they were settled in the VIP Tent, Harry took out his wand and set up silencing and protection wards around the tent, an hour later Colonel Potter showed up and started them on the tour. “Here is the ‘SWAMP’ where the other doctors live. Let me introduce you to ‘Hawkeye’ Pierce, BJ Hunnicutt and Charles Winchester. Boys this is Harry Potter and Severus Snape from the UN Med Group.” After the pleasantries were exchange, Charles asked “What part of London are you from?” Harry replied “I grew up in Surry but now I live part time in Scotland and the other part in Italy.” They sat and talked to the other doctors till chow time. Colonel Potter came up and asked Harry and Severus if they could come to his tent after dinner for a chat.
