Chapter 2: The Secrets Out, And The Press Know Already?!
Harry stretched lazily as he woke up and looked around the room realising that it wasn’t his, this also made him realise that there was a slight weight on his side, looking down he smiled at what he saw…his blonde haired lover was sound asleep and looked absolutely adorable like that. Harry sat up trying not to wake Draco as he moved, but he did, Draco groaned in his sleep mumbling something that sounded like ‘don’t wanna get up yet and you’re not gonna leave without me.’

Harry found it very adorable when Draco decided to lie across his lap and couldn’t help but laugh, “Dray we have to get up or we’re gonna be late for breakfast.”

He leaned down and kissed Draco on the top of his head,

“Come on love I really need to pee and I’m hungry and I’m sure you are as well.”

Draco looked up at him blinking the sleep out of his eyes,

“Still don’t wanna but you’re gonna make me aren’t you…”

Harry nodded,

“Oh fine.”

Draco pulled himself up off Harry and kissed him shortly and walked off to the bathroom on the other side of his room, turning to look at Harry when he got to the door,

“Well are you coming or what.”

Harry looking even more stunned got up and walked towards Draco and followed him in to the bathroom, it was the same size as the one in the boy’s dormitory, but it only had one of everything and a huge mirror, “Ha no wonder Ron never lets me in his bathroom, he’d think that I would think he was self absorbed or something with a mirror this big.”

“Ha, yea that’s one of the things I LOVE about this bathroom…but then again we both know that I’m self absorbed. Come on let’s have a shower and get down to breakfast. Don’t worry about you’re robes the house elf’s will just leave a clean set of your robes in here while we shower they’re the ones that know everything about everyone in this school not Dumbledore, he just gets all his info out of them but only some of them are that stupid to give him the information that he wants.”

Draco pulled Harry into the huge shower with him. Harry gladly followed him into the shower, “Ok so the house elves already know that I spent the night here what’s to say that they haven’t already told Dumbledore?”

Draco smiled “Easy I only have my Dad’s old house elf Dobby clean my room, I know the only one he’d say anything to is you, and since you were here last night he would defiantly not blab to anyone else, he respects you too much to do that.”

“Okay that’s just a little scary, I only let him clean my part of the dorm ’cause I don’t trust any of the others to keep their mouths shut about what I have in there...it’s no one else’s business.” Harry sighed.

As Harry and Draco walked up to the Great Hall for breakfast they received all kinds of looks from the other Slytherin’s heading up for breakfast, the same thought was running through all their minds

‘why is a Gryffindor with us,’ but even more so ‘why is Harry Potter with Draco Malfoy what the fuck is going on?’

The only one that didn’t give them a strange look was Pansy she just smiled at them and walked into the Great Hall. Harry and Draco waited in a dark corner till nearly everyone had entered the hall. They went in holding hands and smiling, Draco leaned over and pressed a quick kiss to Harry’s lips catching the attention of the whole school. Harry pulled his hand out of Draco’s and went over to the Gryffindor table and sat across from Ron and Hermione who looked completely shocked at what they’d just seen. Once Draco had sat down with his friends he noticed that the whole school was still looking at where they had been standing still trying to comprehend what had just happened.

Pansy giggled as the silence wore on and at Draco’s bemused look, she leaned over and whispered in his ear, “You didn’t think people would get the idea just by you two holding hands and looking like the cat that swallowed the canary, you had to kiss him as well didn’t you?”

Draco blushed, “Uhh well not really he was just looking irresistible...I didn’t mean to send the whole hall into shock. Damn now I’m worried about everyone’s reaction especially his friends.”

Back with Harry and his friends, they had stopped looking at where they had been and just stared at him in bemusement.

Hermione was the first one to snap out of her bemusement and whispered across to Harry, “Is that where you where hiding last night, in his dormitory?”

Harry nodded and looked to Ron waiting for him to blow up.

Ron looked at him then to Draco on the other side of the hall, “Why didn’t you tell us mate? I mean did you expect us to blow up at you for liking him. We always thought you two would end up together, but you just kept fighting so we gave up on that idea and decided to help you get with another girl especially after what happened with Cho. You should have told us then we would have left you be.”

Harry shrugged, “I just didn’t know how to tell you, I was scared shitless this morning on the way up here I’ve never felt like I did today. Not knowing how you were going to react and then he kissed me and it just kindda made me feel better... but now I’m so happy that you both know and I don’t have to hide it anymore.”

The next thing that was heard was a loud crash followed by several screams and the teachers running to find out what had happened at the other end of the Gryffindor table, Ron rolled his eyes as his sister and two other girls from their house were levitated past them out of the hall. Dumbledore walked up to Harry and asked him to head up to his office now and then went over to the Slytherin table and told Draco to follow him. Harry and Draco both slid from their seats at the same time and met at the door, giving each other questioning looks and shrugging. As they followed the headmaster they held hands fearing the worst from their interfering headmaster. Once they entered his office he gestured for them to take a seat in the two opposite his own and sat down himself. His eyes held their normal twinkle which was starting to piss Harry off after six years,

“so...” started Dumbledore but was interrupted as McGonagall and Snape burst through the door.

“Don’t even start on them Albus!” McGonagall proclaimed loudly, “and don’t even think of saying what you said to everyone at the staff meeting at the begging of the term they don’t need to know what you think.”

Rolling her eyes she turned to Snape and politely asked, “Could you please escort Mr Malfoy and Mr Potter down to the kitchens for some breakfast, I will join you all in a moment, I have something bigger to deal with at the moment.”

Snape nodded curtly, “Boys follow me please,” both got up giving him a curious look, “I’ll explain on the way just don’t say anything to anyone else.”

As they walked Snape explained that for the last few months they had been suspicious that Dumbledore was slowly going insane and that he was claiming all kinds of ridiculous things at the staff meeting.

Harry laughed, “sir I for one can vouch that the old coot is nuts has been for years, he can never keep his story straight.”

“Manners Potter, he’s still our headmaster,” Snape reprimanded “but I know you could if it was asked of you, you’ve dealt with him more than anyone else in this school has in the last six years.”

Draco looked between the two, “so sir what did he say that McGonagall didn’t want him saying to us?”

“You’d best leave that for me to explain Severus.”

The stern voice from behind making them all jump, “please go in boys and take a seat the elf’s will bring you some breakfast as soon as you do.”

They both looked around surprised that they were at the kitchens already,

“ok and then you fill us in on what he thinks about all this.” Harry snarled.

“yes ok,” they all sat down and started to eat,

“ok, so you know he’s nutters these days, so I’ll just cut to it, basically at the last meeting we had, he told us all to keep an eye on you both, because he can’t find anything out his usual way and he thinks that you’re both plotting against him, and now he thinks that you both coming out the way you did is his proof of just that.”

McGonagall sighed, “So the only thing I want to know is how you both managed to keep him from finding out about this sooner.”

Harry and Draco both laughed, “well that’s easy...we only let one house-elf clean our rooms, Dobby...he respects Harry’s privacy and I pay him well for singling my room and making sure that no other is allowed in, he does the same for Harry without the pay.”

Snape smiled into his cup, “well done boys you’ve learnt how the system works not many people can figure that one out.”

“Yes good job, so what we want to know is how long this has been going on for and how you’ve stoped everyone from finding out before now.”

Harry smiled, “oh about half the year, and that one’s simple as well but I originally thought it was pure luck, but it turns out that we’ve been getting help from Pansy, she keeps distracting people from finding us and letting us get out of there without being seen.”

McGonagall smiled back, “ok that’s about all we needed to know, as soon as you’ve finished eating go to your next class, Transfiguration was cancelled for today.”

Harry and Draco both got up and left holding hands, smiling…as they walked to their next class Care of Magical Creatures, they received some loathsome looks as well as some highly approving ones, as they reached where their class was being held that day they noticed that Hermione and Pansy were both standing together talking looking right at them.

“So what are you two talking about that involves us?” Harry asked not really wanting to know the answer though

“Oh not a lot really, just mention that we both kindda knew already that you two had been together for at least 6months…” Pansy replied missing out some other stuff that they had spoken about, like getting Harry a new wardrobe.

“Oh really…I so don’t believe you but I’m not gonna press coz I really don’t wanna know what goes on in girls heads.” Draco snarked while poking his tongue out at Pansy.

Harry laughed at this and looked around turning to Hermione, “Umm where’s Ron he’s normally the first one out here?”

Hermione sighed, “Oh well you know how Ginny passed out?”

Harry nodded,

“well he thought he should go check on her and calm her down before she comes after you both…OH GREAT, JUST GREAT…THE PAPER’S ALREADY HERE AND IT’S NOT EVEN THE END OF FIRST PERIOD!” Hermione exaggerated at the end of her explanation.

Harry turned around and shrugged, “I know exactly who invited them here…Oh well this was kind of expected I mean as far as the rest of the world knows we hate each other. But this is just what they need to get Voldi-oldi off the front page and me back on it…we’ll just wait and see if they come talk to us or go and talk to the nutter first…” Draco looked round at Hermione’s exclamation and ended up laughing through Harry’s little rant.

His laughter caught the attention of the press and they headed over, “oh look here they come,” he stage whispered to Harry “let’s give them something to put on the front page.” Draco turned Harry’s head and kissed him passionately, the sound of camera’s going off could be heard all around the clearing, but by that time both Harry and Draco were completely lost to each other and didn’t notice till they broke apart so they could breathe. They leaned against one another trying to catch their breathes. Hermione and Pansy were giggling madly in the back ground after seeing some of the female reporters pass out and some of the males run for their live to find a bathroom more than likely…to do god knows what in. Harry and Draco looked at the ones that were left, “so anyone still want an interview or do you think that’s enough to work off?” Harry asked sarcastically knowing that they would all get the point and piss off.

“No mister Potter,” one brave young reporter said, “you two look great together…I think we can all make the story of the century without having to talk to anyone here.”

“Thank you, now if you don’t mind we have a class to get to.”

Draco nodded to them and turned on his heal and walked off in the direction the rest of the class was.

Ok so that's the second chapter...guess i should let you know i don't have a beta for this so there will more than likely be mistakes and that i'm Australian so spelling and grammer will be Australian not English or American... I would like to thank my reviewer's and also say to them that they're the reason this chappy was finished and up so quick...but it will most likly take a bit for the next one as i haven't started writing it yet Luv you all and review coz then maybe it wont take weeks for the next chappy Aya~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~hey all i'd like to say this is a new chapter but i just went to work on it and upload the stuff i had finished to find that my external HD with all my fics on it doesn't want to connect to my pc and i can not gain any access to my work i am hopping this is only a temporary issues and i haven't lost all my stuff for good.
